Below is a catalog of commemorative and commemorative coins of Russia. It reflects all non-precious banknotes, the production of which is tied to round dates and significant events for our country.
All metal money mentioned in the tables is legal tender, and there is always a chance to meet them in cash circulation. Carefully study the lists of coins that are broken down by face value. Pay attention to the cost of the most expensive. Even if you are not going to sell commemorative rubles now, it is worth putting aside some of them, as the price of shiny banknotes will increase every year.
Tables with prices of commemorative coins:
There are abbreviations in the tables: MMD - Moscow Mint, SPMD - St. Petersburg Mint. These capital letters denote the manufacturing enterprise that produced metal money. The sign is located on the side where the face value of the coin is indicated.

The production of 25-ruble commemorative banknotes in the first years was tied to the main sports competitions. These are the 2014 Winter Olympics, held in Sochi, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
These banknotes differ from other anniversaries in an interesting feature. A small number of copies of each issue are in color. The table shows that coins with a color image on the reverse cost an order of magnitude more expensive.
In 2017, sports editions were diluted with other topics. This is a long-term series with heroes of Russian and Soviet cartoons beloved by all children, and a non-serial issue of "Give Good to Children", the proceeds from the sale of which were sent to a charitable foundation.
In 2019-2020, the release of a three-dimensional cycle with images of weapons designers is planned.
10 rubles
10-ruble banknotes form the bulk of the commemorative coins of Russia. So far, the collections of numismatists have been replenished with more than a hundred issues dedicated to ancient cities, cities of military glory, regions and ministries. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation is not going to stop issuing chervonets, having planned the next replenishment of commemorative series for the coming years.
The demand for coins of this denomination is so huge that the cost of the most valuable copies exceeded 10 thousand rubles.

A significant part of the list of 5-ruble commemorative coins in the catalog is devoted to the events of the war years. The first was a series of 2012, glorifying the main battles of the Russian army during Patriotic War 1812. A year later, a series was released in memory of the battles Soviet troops during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In 2015, a cycle of 5 issues reminded us of the heroic deed of the soldiers who fought on the Crimean Peninsula against Nazi Germany. And in 2016 she continued military theme a group of fives dedicated to the capitals of the states that were liberated by the soldiers of the USSR from the Nazi invaders.
Two non-serial issues were minted to commemorate the anniversaries since the creation of the Russian historical society and the Russian Geographical Society.
Chance to find in circulation commemorative coins denomination of 5 rubles is practically excluded. But replenishing the collections with these banknotes is not difficult, you will find them in any numismatic store. They do not have a significant collection value, the price of each copy is 30-70 rubles.

The production of commemorative kopeck pieces was started in 2000 with a cycle of releases that reminds us of the seven cities of Russia, which are known for their valiant defense during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In 2016, two additional releases who celebrated the feat of two more cities.
Like any other product, even a specific one, coins have their own market price. The same coin can be bought in a store, auction or market and coin prices will vary.
Prices for coins from the Taganka flea market
For many, they are an indisputable reference point for prices from the "flea market" near the famous numismatic store "NUMISMAT", on Taganskaya Square in Moscow. There you can always buy coins for the specified amounts. But do not take them as a 100% basis. The prices for all coins are most often overpriced, at auctions you can always find a better option. There are more and more coins, now the prices are presented on 2 sheets.
Attention, Relevance - June - July - August 2016.
What determines the value of coins?
Undoubtedly, Many factors influence the value of coins., such as: mint, year of issue, denomination, alloy, edge, mintage, condition and others. However, the main criterion for value is the rarity of a particular coin. The rarity depends on the mintage of a particular coin.
Sometimes novice numismatists ask why the value of the coins of the USSR much less than some Russian coins? The answer is simple, many coins were issued in circulation of tens of millions of pieces. And although they are old and in excellent condition, their price is often low.
On cost modern coins Russia is strongly influenced by demand. Commemorative coins are especially popular, often they do not even reach circulation.
It is worth noting that market prices may differ from prices for the same coin in different cities of Russia. For example, if you live in Moscow, then you can easily get the coins of the Moscow Mint at face value in your wallets. But getting a coin from the St. Petersburg court for change will be a great success. And most likely it will have to be exchanged or bought.
Market price of a particular coin
Neither in these tables, nor in any others, you will receive the current market price for your coin in your city. As I wrote above, the price will depend on many factors. The spread in plus and minus can be more than 100%.
You can check the current value of a single coin at various online auctions. You drive in the denomination and year of issue, find options in your city, compare the quality. This will be your price. This is exactly what I do before making an exchange or purchase.
If you find any prices, send, I will share them on the pages of the site.
In this section, you can find out the approximate market value of Russian coins from 1992 to 2015. Prices are valid as of 01/09/2020. indicated in rubles. This catalog includes coins of modern Russia regular circulation. Prices are collected from the last auctions at auctions for 2014 - 2015. The cost of Russian coins in the catalog collected according to the following principle - the results of bidding from several auctions were taken and the average price was displayed. The catalog does not contain a list of varieties. For more complete information on the coin, we advise you to use the well-known print editions of the catalogs.
