The Seven Winds Team has been developing an add-on for K3: Wind of Freedom, so we are looking forward to the new add-on.


Well, we think it's time to show the cards. We have been looking forward to the release of the game with the hope of continuing our freelance creativity by deciding to lead the development of an add-on for this game. After some time, the situation with obtaining scripts got off the ground with a message on the studio's official forum Seaward.Ru that applications for game scripts are accepted. In the end, over a very long period of time, and not without difficulty, we still managed to get the scripts. But we will tell you about this a little later.

And now let's move on to the main part of this material - to get acquainted with new features.

So, what are we preparing for the players in our new project:

Back in our previous project, we wanted to create a variety of main characters so that any player can choose and even create a character to their liking. We made the process of choosing the main character visual, so that the player can see what his main character looks like, instead of the usual display of a portrait.




Several lines of quests for each character provided to choose from in the game, in which we are waiting for acquaintance with new characters in the world of Corsairs, as well as a meeting with heroes already familiar to us.


Also, we will be able to embellish your ship as we see fit. Now we will be able to set on our ship the sails that we wish, hoist our coat of arms on them ...




And even choose your own body color.


From now on our main character can end up in prison, where he is waiting for corrective labor and a prison term. But if our captain is rich and lucky, there will be an opportunity to pay off.

About the team. From now on, - not soulless puppets on strings, obeying the captain, no matter how cruel he may be. Now, if the crew is not happy with you, they can simply run away with the ship while the brave captain spends the night in a tavern or has fun in a brothel. But, nevertheless, the opportunity to correct such violations and return the ship, while punishing the rebels, will be provided.


Separately, I would like to talk about the colony. We tried to develop the construction and maintenance of colonies as much as the scope and capabilities of the Corsairs allow. Don't want a monotonous colony? You will be given the choice to determine the individual details of your colony. Also, now to protect the colony, you can create a garrison of soldiers, which we will allocate from our brave team. In addition, if the morale of the population is positive, it is likely that everyone who can hold a weapon in their hands will stand up for the fatherland.

In addition, the player can even give the name of the colony personally.




The player will have the opportunity to create a military squadron that will monitor the protection of the coastline of the island and be based in a special port.



So that our citizens do not die of hunger, they need to bring provisions, as well as medicines to reduce the likelihood of epidemics. To do this, the colony will be able to build a warehouse, the capacity of which, if necessary, can be expanded.

Under certain circumstances, we will have the opportunity to become a planter. Plantations will produce sugar. It will be necessary for the labor force to deliver slaves, as well as a garrison that will monitor the workers and will be reliable protection if uninvited guests appear on the plantation in order to plunder it. The efficiency of workers will depend on morale and on their condition. If they have little food and medicine, the workers will be useless, and they will be tortured with riots. With efficient work and expansion of the plantation, it will be possible to extract not only sugar, but also coffee.

When our colony prospers, we can afford to build mines. Slaves, guards and provisions with medicines will also be needed there. The ore will be of three types - iron, silver and gold - depending on the level of the mines.


As you can see, we have a good surprise in store for economy lovers. But lovers of bloody fights will not be left without gifts. Now the "Arena" has appeared on the Archipelago - a mysterious place with its own history.

On it we are waiting for deadly duels with the best swordsmen of the archipelago... And fights with the most mysterious creatures from around the world, as well as the possibility of a variety of training.



A lot of interesting quests are waiting for us, but it is not possible to keep all the nuances and game notes in your head, so we have introduced the ability to make short notes in the ship's log with your own hands. What captain can be without a ship's log?

To carry away all the stolen trinkets, our main character does not have enough pockets - for this we introduced backpacks into the game, which increase the maximum carry weight depending on their type.
Now the game has not only potions that replenish health, but also products that replenish energy, because in battle it is no less important.


Now the bays have become a little more diverse, various rubbish has appeared in them, which enlivens the landscape and which, if desired, can be collected, because who knows what was washed ashore by the tide along with the wreckage?
In addition, the game has interesting thing like a chest that can contain anything! However, this chest is locked, and in order to discover its contents, it is necessary to find someone who will pick up the keys to it.
However, who prevents us from becoming craftsmen ourselves?

And, of course, what is a game about the sea without ships? Our addition will not do without them. It is expected that both ships freely encountered in the sea, and unique, with their own characteristics, military and pirate ships will be filled. There is a long way to go in order to set foot on some masterpieces of shipbuilding... But the good old ships will also be rehabilitated, which, in our opinion, will not spoil the picture for the player, but only diversify the game.




And finally, a lot of pleasant little things that affect the overall gameplay games - more diverse voiceovers for characters, improved entourage in locations, the ability to solve a dispute without swearing if a chest is searched unsuccessfully, the ability to throw out unnecessary things, a qualitative improvement in such events as treasure hunting, boarding and other things, and of course a lot of small generated events, extortion and other mini-quests.

A new add-on for the game "Corsairs: City of the Lost Ships" called "Corsairs: To Each His Own" by BlackMark Studio. The addition "Corsairs: To Each His Own, like, in fact, all the previous "Corsairs", is a single-player game in RPG genre, no multiplayer. The game uses the Storm 2.8 game engine. The plot starts in 1654 and tells the background of the original game. The addon will also be filled with the romance of land and sea ​​adventures pirates in the 17th century. The plot is based on extensive historical material about that time, as well as the mythology of that era. Game process The add-on differs from the original, first of all, in greater replayability: story branches and a large variety of the game world.

In addition, the player will be able to meet three new main characters. This is William Paterson, Charles de Mor, and the name of the third, whose image can be seen on the poster, is still unknown. Each main character has a unique legend and origin. Since the plot of the Corsairs: City of the Lost Ships addon is very diverse, each main character will have their own unique sequence of events. The choice of the protagonist will also determine the nation, but one should not think that one of them will bring any special benefits: the main characters will initially differ insignificantly in characteristics, but exactly what is not significant. It will be interesting to play for all three. Playing as one of the protagonists will allow you to look at the whole story from a special point of view. So it will be possible to make a complete picture only after passing the game for each of the three heroes. In the application, the models of all minor characters. Their total number increased to 450. The number of officers increased to 30, and the system for hiring them changed. In the addon, significant attention was paid to weapons, so the models of all blades were created on the basis of real prototypes.

Also, now the main character will be able to purchase and use muskets and guns in battle. Damage calculation algorithms, lineups, and ammunition registries have been completely redesigned. Now they are more in line with the historical realities of that time. Vessels were also redesigned in the direction of greater compliance with their real prototypes. Many textures have been significantly reworked, now they look more realistic. The characteristics of ships, as well as the characteristics of weapons, will be randomly generated. A variety of loot and numerous artifacts were also subject to a complete update. New terrain maps have been modeled, as well as new interfaces. All cards can now be collected in the Atlas. Various names and designations were Russified, they fully correspond to the names of the 17th century. Game balance has been greatly improved by changing various mechanisms, algorithms and calculation systems. This will keep the interest in the game high at both small and high character levels. The addon is different too new music which will give freshness to the game. The number of unique melodies has been increased.

You have to go all the way of this famous French corsair - from that very ill-fated duel to obtaining the title of Governor General of the southern part of one of the islands of the Caribbean archipelago, destroying all enemies on the way, destroying Spanish cities and helping true friends out of trouble. In the course of the story, the hero will meet no less famous personalities: Lawrence de Graff, Nicholas Van Hoorn and even King Louis XIV himself, as well as many other historical characters. Almost all the facts from the life of this famous pirate are played up in the plot.

Mod-pack 1.3.2 AT adds new adventures and makes available an old dream of fans of the Seaward series of games - playing as a pirate not only by calling, but also by nature ("nation"). The fix contains a lot of nice additions and useful innovations.
