Where are the world bosses. Bosses of Black Desert Online. Boss Knowledge

There are 4 types of bosses in the game:

  • Quest (killed alone)
  • Group bosses: daily and weekly (for 1-5 players)
  • Bosses summoned by scrolls dropped by mobs (for 1-3 players)
  • Raid bosses

It is worth noting that in open world there are very few bosses, and this makes them a place of fierce battles between guilds, since the drops from them are very, very valuable! The exact respawn time of the bosses is not yet known, we can only say that it will be from 1 to several days with a spread of several hours. Those. Bosses will not spawn after the exact time after the kill, but with a bit of randomness. It is also necessary to know that the higher the level of the characters that kill the boss, the less loot you can get from it.

Boss - Red Nose

The leader of the imps, nicknamed Red Nose, is a level 40 boss. If you kill him with characters of level 50+, then as a drop from him you can get:

  • 5 - 15 weapon and armor enchants
  • 10% chance boss armor
  • 10% Imp Captain's Sword (placed in your home and grants a 15% damage increase buff for 3 hours)

If you bring the life of the Red Nose boss to 50%, then he goes into a rage and increases his speed and attack power, as well as his running speed. All bosses in the game have this feature.

Boss - Geass

Goblin Leader Geass is a level 40 boss. Geass lives in a cave east of Velia. As a reward for killing the boss, you can get:

  • 30% chance of three types of armor (Hercules' powers, Hewe's powers and Luck's powers)
  • 10% chance Helm of Geath granting 100HP
  • 50% chance Stuffed Fox Head (placed in your home and gives MP increase buff for 3 hours)

After the boss has 50% health left, he gains a very powerful ability to hit the AOE around him. The main thing is to remember the boss animation that he performs before the AOE attack and run away from him in time.

Boss - Cowardly Phek

This is a level 50 boss with a ranged attack and a strong 360 degree AOE. As a reward for killing him, you can get:

  • 5 - 15 enchants for weapons and armor
  • 30% chance three types of helmets (Hercules powers, Hewe powers and Luck powers)
  • 10% chance of gloves

Boss - Muscana

This is a fairly strong level 50 boss that can jump on you, casting AOE skills, stun and deal a series of powerful blows. You can find this boss in the monastery below the village of Glissia. It's safe to say that this boss is an order of magnitude stronger than Red Nose, Geass, and Phek. For killing this boss you can get:

  • 15% chance three types of boots (Hercules' powers, Hewe's powers and Luck's powers)
  • 10% chance Muskan Boots

Boss - Big Mud Monster

A level 50 boss that spawns small mud creatures on its skin. The boss has 100% Stun and Grab Resistance and is able to attack non-stop. As a reward for killing him, you can get:

  • 10 - 25 enchants for weapons and armor
  • 15% chance of three types of gloves (Hercules' powers, Hewe's powers and Luck's powers)

Boss - Haxa Marie

This level 51 witch will give you a lot of trouble with her teleportation and invisibility. You can find the witch in the location of the skeletons. As a reward for killing her, you can get:

  • 5 - 20 enchants for weapons and armor
  • 30% chance of a Liberto weapon for each class

Now world bosses appear on schedule:

Now, when the boss disappears, trophies can be received by up to 80% of all players who fought with him, while the quality of the trophies is lower and there are fewer of them. The 10% of players who dealt the least damage to the World Boss can no longer get the Boss Weapon Chest.

Now the boss health scale is the same for all channels.

if a world boss appears on the channel, PvP mode is blocked until his death

  • in other words, you cannot turn on the mode or challenge another player while the world boss is alive on your channel;
  • PvP does not work after the appearance of such world bosses as Kzarka, Nouver, Karanda, Ancient Kutum, Offin the Destroyer, Muraka and Quint;

Red Dragon Kamos

The red dragon Kamos appears 3 times a week (Thursday at 22:30, Saturday at 23:30, Sunday at 12:00) in Kamos' Lair on all Black Desert servers, except Olivia and Arsha servers.

- After notification of the appearance of the Red Dragon Kamoth, statues and monsters of the Kagum Tribe appear. Camos will appear after the players start destroying the statues.

- Garmoth disappears if not killed 15 minutes after the start of the battle.

- Every time Kamose's health drops below a certain level, a system notification will come, and a random statue from among the remaining ones will come to life. Regardless of the time the statues are revived, Kamos disappears after 15 minutes after the start of the battle.

“The red dragon Kamos has powerful skills and is a serious threat to adventurers.

- If the Red Dragon Kamoth is defeated in the battle with the adventurers and flies away leaving trophies, the adventurers who contributed the most to the victory will be able to receive various items, such as the Heart of Kamoth, which can upgrade the Nouver/Katum sub-weapon.

In BDO, world bosses are the most powerful of the mobs with huge health and impressive attack. On their farm, as well as killing field bosses, you can make good money with a certain degree of luck. From this guide you will learn about the features of world and field bosses, their rep, where to find the timer, the spawn table and these monsters themselves. You can read about the Dark Rift bosses.

World Bosses BDO

For quite some time now, bosses that belong to the world bosses appear in BDO strictly according to a certain schedule. These are Kzarka, Karanda, Kutum, Nouver, Offin, Quint, Muraka, Kamos and Vell. These monsters live for 15 minutes and at this time the activation PVP mode impossible, even if you did not go to the farm, and channel change is not available. Spawn locations of all world and field bosses are marked on the world map (as in most MMORPGs, activated by pressing the English M on the keyboard).

BDO world bosses appear simultaneously on all channels at once. They are cross-server, that is, the level of health is common for all channels, and it decreases due to the damage caused by all the players who came to farm. With the coordination of actions that led to the killing of the boss, the best damage dealers receive a generous reward. The rest - as luck would have it.

If the monster was not killed, it leaves, and the participants in the slaughter receive a worse drop. Being a member of a raid or group is optional: it does not affect the reward. The only case when this is appropriate is a played constant, the participants of which buff and heal each other. With a large concentration of players in one place, the optimization mode is activated, hiding other players, to reduce the load on the video card.

The schedule of BDO World Bosses has not changed since the spring of 2019. This table also takes into account sieges, so bosses do not appear during them - they do not join according to the schedule. Finding out when bosses appear in BDO is easier in the game client by pressing the F1 button and clicking on the "World Bosses" item on the right side of the menu. Boss timer for different servers available on this site. At the moment, the BDO boss table looks like this:

Kzarka

A corrupt ruler, revered as a deity, and, by the way, a male being. Every player could meet him while completing the starting quest chain from the Black Spirit. Spawns in the Sanctuary of Serendia just below Heidel southeast of Glish. It has a couple of damage attacks in the area, in between them it strikes with four paws and tentacles. The most valuable drop from this boss is the Kzarka weapon chest, from which the main weapon is extracted for the class of the character who opens it.

Pencil

The Harpy Queen, who spawns on Karanada's Ridge to the left of the Western Guard Camp on the map. Periodically deals area damage, showering raid members with feathers. You can hide from this attack by standing in the centers of the circle. Sometimes she summons smaller harpies to help her, and also chooses a random player who inflicts several powerful blows. The most valuable drop is the chest with the awakened weapon of Karanda.

Kutum

An imposing mechanical worm created by the Ancients. The spawn location is the Red Sand Stone Hall in Valencia, just above the Desert Naga Castle. A very nimble creature that has both point strikes and powerful area attacks. The most valuable drop is a chest with an additional Kutum weapon, which is considered due to additional parameters.

Nouver

The difficulty of finding the spawn location is increased due to the fact that it is located in a desert where navigation does not work. You will have to use a compass, or move at random, guided by these different heaps of sand, or ask someone in the party and navigate by his location. Nuver is a formidable, but not too dangerous dragon with an average attack power. AT recent times almost never killed by players, as greedy. The most valuable drop is a chest with Nouver's secondary weapons.

Ofin

A giant tree that spawns near the Mirumog Forest Ruins node. Deals impressive damage, which, together with the lags, significantly reduces the chances of the character to survive. It farms according to the following algorithm: first, three roots are cut, then the “cabin” is shot from hunting rifles, and at the end the whole raid chases the escaped ghost to kill it. The most valuable drop is a chest with weapons of light of Offin.

Quint and Muraka

A troll and goblin that is almost never killed by players. Alas, Quint will need to be killed when you start to pass. Drop from these bosses is so-so. The most valuable thing is the items that can be exchanged for the Ogre Necklace. They spawn at the same time in Calpheon not far from each other (by the standards of the game).

Kamos

A huge dragon that spawns in its lair in Drieghan territory. The area attack has a colossal radius, and point attacks are quite painful. The raid is divided into several stages, during each of which Kamos summons kagum. After killing these mobs by players, it absorbs their souls and becomes stronger, destroying one of the four statues. The raid is considered successful if all the statues are destroyed and Kamos is almost out of health, after which he starts running. This boss drops a unique pet - a small dragon, as well as the Heart of Kamos, which is necessary for Kutum or Nouver.

Well

A huge sea monster that appears in the open ocean. The only boss that is farmed on the water by the whole fleet at once, firing from cannons, which requires its own brig, escort or guild galley. The boss drops Vell's Heart - a kind of alchemy stone with very "tasty" characteristics, as well as the items necessary for its crafting.

Field Bosses BDO

In BDO, the bosses, which are called field bosses, are thinner in terms of power, but the drop from them is poorer. Regarding their appearance, there is no clear schedule - everyone can get out on a timer after the start of respawn at any time. Spawn on 10 random channels, but usually at least one per region (Balenos, Serendia, etc.). The average frequency of occurrence is once a day. The health of such a boss on each channel counts separately, so you can farm the field bosses several times by going to another server.

Red nose

Appears to the left of the West Guard Camp. A huge imp armed with a scimitar, the attacks of which are the main ones. Periodically jumps, crushing all the heroes that turn up with his belly. The most dangerous attack is a scream: if you don’t have time to block, all health will be blown away very quickly. The most valuable drop is the Red Nose Armor.

Giant Treant

The spawn location is the hermit's grove node. Not too fast, but quite a damage monster, especially successful attacks of which stun the character for up to 5 seconds. At a long distance, it throws stones and tries to get it with its long branches. Periodically summons assistants that roam nearby, but do almost no damage. The most valuable drop is the armor of the Giant Treant.

Cowardly Bheg

The leader of the altar demons, armed with a hook on a long chain. Appears on the Northern Plain of Serendia node. With his chain, he reaches players at a distance of several ohmmeters. Up close, it damages with it, making a couple of short strokes. When enraged, he swings his weapon randomly for several seconds. The most valuable drop is Bheg Gloves.

Huge mud monster

Appears on a hill just below Heidel. It is extremely slow, but with a successful stun, it will kill the character with a few strong blows. Summons smaller Mudmen that explode when destroyed. The low speed of the boss is compensated by a decent supply of health - it is very thick. At the same time, he is also very greedy, so he is almost always ignored by the players. The most valuable drop is the Sign of the Shadow, an attack ring of rare quality.

Kashvark

A creature that most closely resembles a huge basilisk armed with a spear. Spawns in Drieghan near the Tshira Ruins node. In addition to weapons, it uses poison attacks, including in the area. The most powerful of the field bosses: if the character has less than 300 defense and he is not buffed, you will definitely have to fly to the rep several times - with the exception of the RDM, which can kite. The most valuable drop is the Eye of Ruins ring (attack, legendary quality). Also, Kashvark always drops a small amount of Dark Energy Remains, which are used in crafting. Farmed by players with varying success, as it is not very generous.

Drop from world and field bosses

In addition to the above gear boss, the following items drop from world bosses:

  • Kzarka, Karanda, Kutum, Nouver, Offin - nominal seals. 100 of these items can be exchanged with an NPC for a weapon chest. After turning in the quest, the same NPC for each seal gives a Fragment of Memories (cookie).
  • Items of some adventurer - a loot box of legendary quality, which drops random gold jewelry, both zero and enhanced up to level IV.
  • Gold bars worth 1 million silver.

All bosses, including field bosses, drop Inlay Stones of various quality and cost, Black Stability Stones, Purification and Pure Enchantment Stones used to safely sharpen equipment, Liberto main weapon chests, blue-quality Awakening weapon chests, some money and a Clot clean enchantment, which is necessary for sharpening. Field bosses drop ingots worth 100,000 silver. With a significant accumulation of players, lags are often observed - it is impossible to collect the drop manually. In this case, pets should be released - they pick up everything without problems.

The more damage the character inflicts on the boss, the higher his chances of getting valuable loot. It is also possible to sack, hitting once and smoking on the sidelines, but at the same time it will drop a little more than nothing. However, this is only one of the assumptions: no one really knows how the drop is actually distributed.

Which boss gear cannot be dropped from the monsters described above and where to get it:

  • Helm of Giath - Daily summon boss Giath in Balenos;
  • Muskan's Shoes - Muskan's weekly summon boss in Serendia;
  • Griffin Helmet - weekly summon boss Griffin Ahib in Kamasylvia and elite griffin mobs in Navan Meadow;
  • Shoes of Argon - weekly summoning boss Gyfinancia Guardian in Kamasylvia;
  • Libr's Gloves is a weekly Libr summon boss in Drieghan.

When farming, keep in mind that upon death from any of the world or field bosses of BDO, except for Vell, Quint and Muraka, a penalty is imposed on the character - combat experience is lost and inlay stones may break. If you are not confident in your abilities, I recommend using a twin. Details are in the video. Good luck!

Currently on Korean servers Black Desert there are 3 world bosses and 2 dungeons. In addition, there are summoned bosses that must be killed to complete daily and weekly tasks. Scrolls to summon bosses can be obtained from the Black Spirit, knocked out from monsters, or bought at the pearl shop (F3, Miles). There are also guild boss summoning scrolls for groups of 5-20 players. These bosses drop Liberto weapons, one of the best in the game.

World bosses

World bosses drop legendary (yellow) weapons, which are currently the best in the game. After a kill, a few lucky players receive chests that contain weapons designed for the corresponding class. The chest can be transferred between characters through the warehouse. World bosses appear 8-12 hours after the last kill. Each channel has its own timer.

Kzarka appears in the Temple of Serendia, located south of Heidel. This boss drops Kzarka's legendary (yellow) primary weapon with 18-22 attack power, +3 attack speed, and two gem sockets. Sharpening increases damage and accuracy.

Verbe (dragon)

Willow spawns in the Valencia Desert, at one of three random locations. Coordinates: x8100y2300, x7300y50 and x10050y350 (marks on the map are approximate). Verbe appears 30 minutes after the announcement. Before the appearance, the location plunges into darkness. The boss drops a legendary (yellow) secondary weapon with 6-8 attack power, a -10% bonus to incoming damage, and two gem sockets. Sharpening increases damage and accuracy.

Karanda (Queen of the Harpies)

Karanda appears on the ridge of the same name, located northeast of Calpheon and southwest of Velia. The boss drops a legendary (yellow) awakened weapon intended for level 56+ characters. In addition, you will have to complete a special task and open a talent tree.

Dungeons

December 2015 Akhkeman Ruins and Historical Ruins dungeons have appeared on Korean servers. They are located underground and can only be entered through a portal. Portals appear at random points in the Valencia Desert.

Below are videos about exploring dungeons and fighting in them:

Some monsters that live in dungeons (such as lava giants) have incredible strength. Dungeons are designed for small groups of level 56+ players. However, you can go there alone, but the passage will take a very long time. Gather a group of like-minded people and go on a treasure hunt!

In this guide, we will look at the habitats and habits of raid bosses that respawn regularly with a strictly limited interval. The farm of Quint and Muraki, who appear once a week, as well as event bosses, is the topic of a separate guide.

Spawn locations and habits of world bosses

Huge mud monster

Spawns on a hill in the Fogan Marshes just below Heidel to the left of the East Gate. Deals melee damage and sometimes summons Mud Bombs. The most dangerous attack is when the monster grows into the ground and moves randomly, dealing significant damage in a decent radius. The attack area does not stand out in any way, so it is better to move away.

Cowardly Bheg

The respawn location is just below the Serendia Northern Plain node.

Armed with a massive chain with a huge hook at the end, so he can get RDD. During aggro, when it turns red, it starts to randomly hit in all directions at the same time. One-shots characters with weak armor.

Giant Treant

Spawns on the Hermit's Grove node below the Western Guard Camp.

You can leave the transport near the manager. The walking tree hits everyone with its long branches, but it doesn't reach very far. In addition, sometimes summons assistants, and also throws stones at random targets. During a fit of rage, when it turns red, it deals damage to everyone nearby.

Red nose

Spawns behind the northwestern wall of the West Guard Camp.

The boss is armed with a huge scimitar, which he mainly damages. He jumps a lot, including falling on his belly, but does little damage. The strongest attack is the battle cry. He completely destroys hit points, so it’s better not to stand in front of the Nose at this time. The attack area is not highlighted.

Kzarka

Creeps out into the Sanctuary of Serendia.

It has four powerful paws with which it beats everyone. Kzarka's strongest tricks are narrowly focused fire breath and a large diameter attack around the boss. In the latter case, you can hide behind a column or move away.

Pencil

Appears on the top of the mountain just above the knot of the Karanda Ridge.

It spits something incomprehensible at the chosen target, and also strongly beats its wings. Summons assistants that easily kill a single target. Periodically flies up and sprinkles with sharp feathers, which, with weak armor, immediately kill the character. In this case, you should hide directly under the boss: there is a small area where the damage does not pass.

Ancient Kutum

The respawn location is the Red Sand Stone Hall.

The main attack is a blow with his own body, the length of which is enough to get the RDD. Has a habit of falling right into the camera, thus blocking the view. In addition, this boss has some strong tricks in store.

Firstly, he can hide underground and, sticking out his nose, give an electric shock. The attack area is highlighted in red. Secondly, Kutum can start diving, dealing damage when he comes to the surface. In the area of its appearance, a black haze arises from the ground.

Watch out for the most dangerous attack, when the worm aims its muzzle into the ground and uses some of its technology. At the same time, converging concentric circles appear on the ground, into the center of which it drags characters who did not have time to teleport or blink out of the affected area, completely demolishing their hit points.

Nouver

Appears in the desert, where navigation does not work. The easiest way to get to the spawn location is to drive east from the Eastern Bazaar.

Once upon a time, this dragon had many one-shot skills, but after numerous fixes it became frankly weak, despite its formidable appearance and impressive size. Beats the characters with paws and wings, moving smartly across the sand, and can also jump on someone's head. Summons sand whirlwinds that do almost no damage, but do a good stun.

Sometimes it flies into the sky and spits fireballs at the character it likes best. Against such an attack, a block helps, and anyone who has it. The strongest attack is a narrow long strip in front of the muzzle, along which the dragon releases a jet of fire.

Resp World Bosses

The appearance of a raid boss is signaled by a formidable message in the center of the screen, accompanied by a unique sound design. And if you are still confused, then in a month or two you will begin to determine who exactly respawned by the boss's cry.

RBs appear simultaneously on all channels immediately after the shout. The exception is Nuber, in the case of which a sandstorm occurs first, and the dragon itself appears exactly half an hour after the notification. No one knows the exact time of the appearance of any boss, but the site rpgdon.com helps to determine the approximate time, where you can find information about the beginning of the respawn of all raid bosses in Black Desert.

Keep in mind that the boss will not necessarily appear when the respawn begins: he may be delayed for an hour, or even two. In addition, there is a special channel in Discord where you can find out about the status of the boss on a particular channel.

If your main character wanders around the game world a lot, he may not make it to the world boss spawn in time and get little loot. What to do in this case? Experienced players use twins, which they switch to when a world boss appears. It can be like an already pumped character, the interest in which has decreased, or created specifically for farming world bosses. There is an opinion that a level 50 character with green quality equipment enchanted by +16 and an attack value of 150 or more is enough.

However, nothing prevents you from dressing a twin better, leveling up to 56 and using awakened, or leveling up to 58 to activate more damage skills. Twin and his horse should be left in Heidel: from here it is fastest to get to most of the world, with the exception of Nuver and Kutum, which spawn in Valencia. It's a little far away, so there are usually fewer people there. Please note: upon death from a world boss, there is a chance of destruction of inlay stones. If you have a frail twin that dies a lot, equip it with expensive gems. Also, upon death, as with a regular mob, experience is lost.

Drop of regular and top equipment

In fact, no one knows the algorithm for dropping top equipment, that is, nominal weapons and armor from the boss set, but everything is decided here, as usual, at random. It has been noticed that there is a high probability of getting top equipment on the first or second trip to the world boss.

The damage dealt influences the additional loot received: Liberto and Awakened blue-quality weapon boxes that sell well at the auction, as well as hunter's seals, gold bars, inlay topstones, and seals of Kzarka, Karanda, Nuber and Kutum, 100 of which can be exchanged on the appropriate weapon by taking the quest. It is logical that the faster you get to the respawn place and start killing the raid boss, the more damage he will get from you. Therefore, be sure to get another frisky horse and equip him with sharpened horseshoes.

Boss Knowledge

Do not forget about such a useful feature as knowing the S rank, which increases the chance of dropping valuable loot. You can get knowledge about some bosses:

  • Kzarka - Delpenio, manager of the Node Sanctuary of Serendia;
  • Karanda - Claxtor that controls the Karanda Ridge node;
  • Kutum - Desallam, manager of the Red Sand Stone Hall node;
  • Nouver - can be obtained from the quest in the Ivvelap Oasis, and then again from the local groom Eugene;

How to get the necessary knowledge?

We send one character to the librarian Annalise in Calpheon and for 10 influence points we remove the knowledge that already exists. We send the second character to the NPC who gives this knowledge, and we get it again. We switch between characters, deleting knowledge and getting it again until the desired rank is reached.

Rules of conduct in the raid

During a trip to the world boss, it is recommended to follow the world chat - usually the players are here and exchange information about the state of the boss's health on the region's channel group and agree on which channel to go to next. Having farmed in one channel, you can jump to another if the cooldown allows.

Farming usually starts from the first and further down the list, so you can manage to kill the boss in the region from two to four times, especially if there are few players at the moment. Of course, nothing prevents you from jumping to the channel, where there are fewer people: this will increase the chance of getting something valuable when killing the boss. The main thing is to think with your own head and do not look for commanders who will tell you which channel to go to and what to do next.

Some players leak outright misinformation: for example, about the full HP of the boss on the channel where he was killed a long time ago, or about the absence of the boss on the channel where he just started to be beaten. It’s better to send them to emergency situations right away: experience shows that most of them are trolls, who are not even close to the RB respawn site. World bosses are farmed by the same contingent, and very quickly you will understand whose words you can trust. I do not advise you to pay attention to local clowns who let out the same hackneyed jokes about bosses.

What class to beat the world bosses does not play a special role. The main thing is to do it well: this way you are guaranteed to get something of value. Therefore, it is better to choose the one that you like best, and not the one that is rumored to be the most imb in the game.
