World of tanks blitz is the most powerful tanks. Guide: which top ten to download first in World of Tanks Blitz. Correct maneuvering during close combat

In connection with the recent good news that WoT Blitz was released on PC (though only for Win10), I decided to make a visual comparison of our classic version of the game WOT With Blitz "ohm, as well as to discuss both games and their game problems. To begin with, I will express my opinion about both games.

Ordinary "potato" tanks I do not like. This game spoils the nerves and does not bring pleasure. Since I can’t bear to research and buy all the tanks in the game myself (due to the lack of balance and the presence of such cacti in research branches that I want to cry), I played on the test of version 9.15.

This version is a small breakthrough in a good way, because the changes in it are all positive (with the exception of the nerve vol. 54), and I hope that further patches will only get better. But, sadly, 9.15 does not solve the main gaming problems. Where is the promised nerf art? Where is the ap of cactus tanks like M5 Stuart, M7, AMX40?

After testing those tanks that I had a heart for (like STB-1, T-62A, RU251, jdPzE100), I realized that I'd better forget about this game until better times.

Now about the port Wot Blitz on PC- it's just superb!

I love absolutely everything about this game. There are little things that are annoying, but basically the game is just weird! And there is a balance, and a starting bonus, and new cards. I can praise the game for a very long time, but you won’t be full of words. So if you have Win10, go to the store and download WoT Blitz for free. You will not regret.

Comparison of games will be by all criteria, despite the fact that WoT Blitz is a port of a mobile game on PC. I will evaluate each game according to the criteria on my own 5-point scale, after which I will make a table of pluses and minuses for each game.

1. Graphics

WOT

Of course, the graphics of the original WoT are head and shoulders above those in Blitz. Good shaders, DirectX11 support in 9.15, HD models of some tanks - it's all done at a good level. 4 out of 5 because HD maps (which are already on the Xbox360 version) have no HD skyboxes or new effects.

WoT Blitz

In Blitz, the graphics are significantly worse (relative to the realism that WoT strives for). But I can't call it bad. Yes, there are no HD models, not such detailed shadows, not such lighting and glare, etc. This graphic is from a different category. Like the graphics in Borderlands, Torchlight 2 and similar games, they look a bit cartoony. Something toy. And I even like it, because the original WoT will never come to realism. The visual part of Blitz pleases the eye, a very pleasant and soft picture. In general, I give WoT Blitz graphics 3 out of 5, because it will be more objective. But on sensations - both games are pleasing to the eye.

2. Game physics

WOT

In 9.14 (or maybe earlier, I don't remember anymore) they introduced new physics and a new physics engine. In 9.15 they more or less brought it into balance (because in 9.14 the vehicles turned over very often, as if they were made of plywood, and also removed the sticking of tanks to each other). In general - physics at 9.15 (test) is pleasant. But there are little things that are very annoying. Like intangible gun barrels, jerking tanks in the distance, enemy illumination mechanics. I rate physics at 4.5 out of 5.

WoT Blitz

In WoT Blitz, the physics, as if from version 9.0 of conventional tanks, is very familiar, without any surprises. I didn't notice any difference, to say the least. I also like this kind of physics, because in this case it has a positive effect on the gameplay, so 4 out of 5 points.

3. Gameplay

The general type of gameplay in these games is similar: tank battles with a time limit on different small maps. But there are key differences, which I will now discuss.

WOT

In a regular WoT, in terms of gameplay, everything is very, very dull. The variability of the game is almost absent, the cards are really boring. I’m already silent about how wretchedly they are dug up over and over again, or generally good cards are removed from the game. What is surprising - the plot of the game is the same! The main gameplay issues are artillery, maps, and balance. And a carload of unpleasant little things. These factors are key issues in the game that people in the WG office seem to be unaware of.

How does everything happen in the game? Battles 15 vs 15 tanks on the map 600m \ 1km. Let's take a look at the cards.

This is a problem, sometimes there is really not enough space for tanks. Yes, and the cards themselves - some of them are so crookedly made that there is no balance in terms of respawns. Even according to statistics - 45% from one and 55% from another spawn.

For example, let's take Ruinberg . The central street is inclined towards the upper spawn, there is a backache along the central street in the save. On the other hand, it doesn't. Why? We take another card: Lasville . From the bottom spawn, the whole city and the church are shot through, since it is turned towards this spawn. This is very unbalanced! More questions about the cards: what for 2 identical cards like Fire Arc and Prokhorovka ? Why removed Dragon's backbone and Overlord ? There were good cards, as for me, although there was a variability of the game.

The second problem - and this is indirectly related to the cards. This is artillery. It should not exist at all, and if it should, then there must be a remedy against it. This is the most unbalanced, the most terrible and miserable class of the game. Artillery simply does not allow other classes to play normally, especially with the current accuracy in the game. Even the heaviest TTs cannot tank shells flying from above. Because of this, the relevance of many machines, the variability of the game is simply annihilated. How do you tank art on the map like Robins on the E100, for example? In general, a lot of words were said about artillery, a lot of monitors were broken, etc. You all already understand, I think, so let's move on.

The third gameplay issue is balance. But we will talk about it a little lower, in a separate section. Now I want to pay attention to the little things in the game, which sometimes get in the way.

I'll start with consumables. In WoT - 3 slots for consumables of all kinds. When using a consumable, it is not restored in battle, and this is inconvenient. You have only 1 chance, for example, to repair a harp or something else, and places to buy extra. there are no consumables. Given the artillery (it almost always shoots down the harp, and if it's a level 6 FV, you won't get to the TT alive) - this is especially inconvenient.

Another issue is the possibility of a teamkill. It should not be at all, it really interferes with the gameplay. He hit mine by accident and killed him. And sometimes there are such allies - they test the gun on their own. Usually ends with a drain.

Overall conclusion: a balance of 2 out of 5 points.

WoT Blitz

And here is the complete order. The battles are 7 vs 7, the maps are small in size, but for 7 tanks - that's what you need. And, what is remarkable - only 3 cards from the original game, the rest are new! There are 16 cards in total, but the game variability is present on them. You never know where the allies will go, and you yourself are free to choose your own direction. All maps are very balanced, each map has its own "fish" places. In general - complete freedom.

Most importantly, Blitz does not have artillery as a class, and this is the biggest advantage over the original game. The remaining 4 classes have been rebalanced and are played in perfect harmony, but more on that below.

Of the features of the gameplay - a very convenient sight with an indicator of the enemy's armor, recharge (90s) of all consumables during the battle, special slots for additional. consumables such as additional soldering (equipment) and for ammunition. I was very pleased with the new system with the crew: it is common for all tanks. I bought a new tank - you teach the crew to ride it, but the skills are not lost.

Of the other amenities and little things that made me very happy - changing the type of projectile without reloading (this is very convenient), infusing free experience into the crew experience (ratio 1 to 2), a starting bonus of 2 days of PA, 1800 gold, constantly updated X2 bonuses and combat tasks with good rewards (sometimes they even give PA).

The gameplay itself can be assessed as active, varied and interesting. And you can tank, and twist the TT and PT, and shoot from a distance. In general, I rate the gameplay 4.5 out of 5 points. I made a minus for the fact that (for some reason) the sight in sniper mode is a little cottony, and the feeling that the tower barely rotates, and another inconvenience is the interface in the hangar. Not everyone likes it, I hope they optimize it.

4. Game Balance

I wrote about the balance of cards in WoT above, here I will repeat something.

WOT

In short, there is almost no balance. There is an appearance of balance, which is obtained due to the fact that there are both crayfish and benders in the team. If the tank is a cactus, but an extra is driving the tank, he may shoot someone, but this does not mean that the tank fits into the game. The problem of balance is +- 2 levels of fights, and this is very disturbing for certain vehicles.

The strongest balance change in the game is the introduction of gold for silver. The introduction of a new (as it is now) accuracy also changed the balance of the game a lot. Armor has lost its role, at the moment there are very few tanks in the game that tank their classmates. You see TT - loaded the gold and destroyed it. You can tank on something, but tanking gold is another matter.

If you describe all the specific aspects of the balance, then you should start with tanks. I believe that at the moment half of the tanks are unbalanced. The rule of 3 calibers needs to be removed altogether, it's just some kind of wildness. The ricochet of a 170mm AP projectile can also be from a 40mm armor plate.

Regarding the health and armor of tanks. The gap between 3-4-5 levels is huge. When 3 gets to level 5, it's very bad. If you are skillful, you can get out, but usually you are cannon fodder. Like most 7s with 9s, and 6s with 8s.

Damage from tanks is also often disproportionate to the level. The hatzer at 270hp has 350 damage with a cumulative from a howitzer. It's a one-shot of a classmate in almost any case, not to mention level 3.

The game has a lot of "cacti" like M5, M3Lee, M7, AMX40, T-50, etc. They would cut the level of battles and apnut. The problem with the classes is that you need to remove the high level of LT battles. And so the technique is weak, so it also throws one level higher. What joy is this? And so they practically don’t bend, and who knows how to play on LT. I will not paint everything else, read about the problems of tanks in WoT in my blog.

If we talk about maps - many maps are unplayable due to the lack of saves from artillery. On the Malinovka how do you hide? And on Prokhorovka ? Good cards are removed, new ones are not added. Everything is bad in general with the cards.

My final balance score is 2 out of 5 points. I will not put 1, there is also something good.

WoT Blitz

Balance is Blitz's forte. Everything in this game is wonderful, as I said. The most important decision is +-1 combat level. It's just wonderful! You will never suffer in this game, and given the 7 by 7 mode, you can easily drag it alone.

There is a balance in HP and damage - damage and dpm are reduced, hp is increased (this is regarding levels 1-6). Armor in the game is felt, few people use gold because of the super-convenient sight. A bb break is almost always enough, it all depends on your skill, and not on your gold.

The balance of cards is available - everything is played very quickly, there are no "bending" or vice versa respawns. You can always run away, and tank, and twist.

If we talk about the classes of technology - they are all played and all are interesting. There has never been such a thing that the tank could not do anything against the enemy.

In general - 5 out of 5 points for the balance, I really like everything and so far I don’t see any problems at all.

Results

Total points: WoT - 12.5, WoT Blitz - 16.5

Conclusion

As a conclusion, here's what I can say - WoT Blitz switched the original game. I completely switched to Blitz, which I advise you to try. I'm waiting for the introduction of new branches, I play and have fun. And I don't suffer from artillery. How wonderful it is! try it!

If you find an error / typo in the test - write in the comments.

World of tanks Blitz is a well-known game that is considered one of the most popular in Runet. He conquers everyone, regardless of age, gender, profession, social status. We are talking about a unique stimulant, presented in the form of a tank action. The game seems realistic due to the spectacular authentic soundtrack: the players hear the roar of engines, literally feel how crushed metal cracks. A very well-thought-out geographical variety of landscapes, a large selection of maps with interesting reliefs allow you to immerse yourself in military operations. At the same time, the interface is clear (it is Russified), the menu is simple.

World of tanks Blitz is a unique game that is an excellent example of a well-thought-out military strategy. It has many fascinating features that make you strain your brain, experience a variety of emotions. This game develops tactical skills. Tank battle does not forgive mistakes. As soon as you get on the battlefield, you will immediately understand that it depends on the map, the speed of the tank, and weapons whether it will be possible to defeat the enemy.

There are many combat vehicles in game stores and workshops. Their number depends on how long you have been playing tanks. Someone has already managed to get a lot of improvements, and someone just has to choose a tank, weapon, etc.

Which teams are invincible? That team gets victories (and its players get money and medals), in which knowledgeable tankers play. Experienced players know how and where to aim, so that the calculation of the projectile's flight is successful, so that it does not bounce off enemy armor, and does not cause an explosion of its own car. Everything must be under control, otherwise you can endanger the entire crew. Don't want to lose? Then approach the choice of tank especially carefully.

And what a huge selection of tanks! Both young and experienced players are interested in one question: what are the best Blitz tanks?

Why is there a lot of doubt about choosing the best Soviet or German tank? The thing is that literally every combat vehicle has its own advantages and disadvantages. And yet, the outcome of a tank battle largely depends on the correct choice of tank.

Basic information about tanks

  • Light tanks. Their advantage: speed, maneuverability. They are incredibly nimble and fast. Their minus: ease of damage, weak armor. Light tanks should be used as scouts. They are real helpers for their team. With their help, it is so easy to find enemy tanks. Yes, these tanks break through easily, but thanks to their maneuverability, they can survive even in difficult tank battles. No heavy tank can catch up with a light racer. This means that the enemy team does not have much chance to kill a light tank if you have experience in controlling them.
  • Medium tanks. We are talking about tank equipment that can be used for different purposes: to kill opponents, find opponents and "shine" them for their comrades. Medium tanks are universal, which is why many people love them so much. But those who choose them need to be constantly on the alert: light tanks can outwit them, overtake them, heavy tanks can damage them with one blow.
  • Heavy tanks. Such machines are capable of causing serious, irreparable damage. Their minus: too slow speed. But they have incomparable power. The role of this type of tank is to protect your friends, players from the team, taking strong enemy shots on yourself.
  • Destroyer tanks. Tank destroyers - killer vehicles. For beginners, this technique may seem complicated. If you want to use it, you have to practice a lot. The task of the player who decides to choose this car is to stay behind, find a safe place and conduct targeted shooting at opponents. Practice shows that the outcome of the match depends on how well the tank sniper is located.

If you are just starting to play World of tanks Blitz, choose the simplest tanks. And after gaining experience, move on to more complex machines.

Which tank to choose at the beginning of the game?

Let's analyze some of the most popular and winning options for choosing a starting tank:

  1. For beginners of the World of Tanks game, the USSR MC-1 tank is perfect, with which you can quickly clarify the situation with an understanding of the game as a whole. The advantage of Soviet tanks is mobility, small size and high damage. As for medium tanks, many players like the T-34 due to its high speed and additional armor due to the ricochet.
  2. Also, do not deprive attention to the branch of German tanks, which at level 7 are recognized as one of the most powerful. Start with models such as the PzKpfw2 and PzKpfw3 Aust A. This foundation will allow you to reach the Tigr without much effort.

The most popular tanks: an overview

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the tanks that are most popular among expensive experienced players.

Despite the fact that most players constantly swear at, new gamers join the project every day. Even despite the huge prices inside the game store, most tankers are constantly throwing their money into the rapid development of one or another tank. Many people think: "What is so interesting and attractive in the mobile version of WoT?". The answer is actually very simple. On smartphones of the modern generation, there is nothing cooler in terms of graphics and development than this game. In this article, I would like to talk about which tank of the 10th level is better to pump out first? Which tank will be easier to play and destroy all your rivals in a matter of seconds.

At the moment, the game provides us with 4 classes of different equipment. Among them you can find light, medium and heavy tanks. In addition, you can choose another class - tank destroyers. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is still no artillery here, and this, in my opinion, is very good. Light tanks do not go beyond level 7, so at level 10 we will have to choose among medium, heavy tanks and antitanks. On each of the best cars, we will conduct small analyzes that will definitely be of interest to the players. Perhaps someone will disagree with some points, but you can discuss in the comments. In any of the classes, the choice falls only on 2 completely different cars. And the most important difference in them is skill dependence. Some players are already experienced, while others are just starting their own journey into the World of Tanks. In order not to feel weak among others with a bad skill, you can use Aleshkotanks. But those who have already gained at least some experience will try to achieve great results and try to play tanks that are a little harder to control.

Alyoshko-tyazh IS-7

I would like to say that the IS-7 is great for "crustacean" people who can only say that they play cool, but in fact - nothing unique. You can pump such a tank pretty quickly. If you are not yet very experienced and have not earned a good skill, then the IS-7 is your choice, which you cannot refuse.

Armor, incomprehensibly invented sides, an impenetrable tower and much more allow even an inexperienced player to fight with others like a real professional. The maximum speed of such a tank reaches 50 km/h. Thanks to its impenetrability and the power of the engine, such a tank can forgive mistakes even to the newest player. Try to put a man who never plays tanks, give him an IS-7 and he will definitely cope with someone!

Of course, you can talk about the positive aspects of this tank for a very long time, but there are also disadvantages. I would like to note that the turret traverse speed is very low, so any medium tank can spin and distract you. It will be extremely difficult to fight in close combat! The gun, of course, is powerful, but its reload time of almost 13 seconds cannot please.

In general, if you look at it this way, the IS-7 is a heavy, well-armored tank with a normal movement speed and a powerful gun. But no one will be able to set any records on it. Try to choose a certain position, the desired target and shoot only at it. Do not even try to chase several tanks, you will not succeed.

Skilo-heavy T110E5

If you are already an experienced player, then it makes sense to upgrade T110E5. Yes, it is harder to play on it, but you are a skill player, so there should be no problems. This tank has strong armor, decent dynamics and incredibly powerful weapons. His spread is very weak. At 100 meters it is only 0.35. If we compare this indicator with other tanks, then we can consider the car a real sniper. And the convergence rate here is very good, it is equal to 2.

Most professional players can, of course, swear at him because of the 120 mm cannon, but he still has a lot of positive qualities. Everyone has flaws, but they are not always so small. In skillful hands, these shortcomings will not be felt, they can be easily blocked.

Even despite the fact that in the Blitz version, the developers have not improved the commander's tower lately, and also almost do not introduce innovations, I would like to say that the T110E5 tank is the best heavy tank. It is clear that for beginners it will seem the worst and it will be extremely difficult for them to play on it. He will not allow you to break into the thick of enemies, but it should be possible to destroy rivals one by one. Of course, destroying with one shot, as the E100 does, will not work, but still. Accuracy, versatility and other advantages give a lot of fun. Use your tank in long range skirmishes and become one of the best in battles.

Alyoshko-EsTe E-50 M

The E-50 M didn't even really exist on paper, but it was added to the game and they want it to be one of the best. Yes, it attracts some beginners because it forgives some mistakes, like the IS-7. It will not be possible to expect tanking from such a tank, since it belongs to medium tanks. But among them, he is one of the strongest. The level of protection here is extremely high. Pay attention to the armor, which is made under the slopes. Due to the slopes, it is very difficult to break through it. Constant ricochets and non-penetration are guaranteed to any player. You can easily side-tank tanks of the 8th and 9th levels.

The mobility of this tank is extremely difficult. It seems that the speed is not bad, it reaches 60 km / h, but still, something is unfinished here. Turret and hull traverse speed is long. At close range, you are likely to lose, so you should not approach your opponent at a short distance.

Another strong point of this tank is its powerful armament. The spread here is only 0.3, the mixing is 2.1 s, but the reload time is 8.5 s in its not yet pumped form. For a medium tank, the armor penetration here is pretty good, it can dispel the doubts of every player without any problems.

If all sides are folded into one, then a fast, comfortable and armored tank is obtained. But its disadvantages are that it is clumsy. Extremely slow for a medium tank. Only thanks to this tank, even an inexperienced player can understand the gameplay of all medium tanks without any problems.

Skilo-EsTe Ob. 140

The first place among all tanks for skill players is occupied by Ob. 140. Some people may say that it is also easy for beginners, but in reality it is not so. Someone will be able to play, and someone will constantly lose. Standing behind the mounds on it just won't work. You need to use strong armor correctly and prevent opponents from getting closer to you. Tanking from a corner here is not very successful, because ricochets do not fly out as often as we would like.

He is very strong in close combat. You also need to pay attention to its great speed. He boasts of maneuverability and speed of rotation of the turret and hull. None of the tanks can just take and spin Ob. 140.

The gun received high-speed mixing and high-level stabilization. Of course, it cannot be called a sniper, but still the spread is rather small. Even those 0.35 can greatly complicate the game for a gamer. Medium tanks very often shoot on the move, and with such characteristics it will be extremely difficult to hit. Some other tanks have a much smaller spread, which is why they compare it. But for medium and short distances, he definitely has no equal. Permanent armor, fast-firing cannon and some other advantages make it possible to win most battles. The task of this medium tank is to spin the opponent on the axis and destroy him as soon as possible. Try not to expose yourself to shots, because most of the same powerful tanks can break through it. Don't rush and move carefully. But who is to talk about it? You are on the skill, if you have chosen such a tank!

Alyoshko-PeTe FV215b 183

If you take a PT for beginners, then the FV215b 183 is the best fit. You won't be able to stand on such a tank in the bushes, but you can somehow bring down the opponent's team with your alpha strike very easily. It is clear that any of us will need gold, and even a lot of gold, but that's okay. Even if you don’t get a plus in battles, you can feel all the power only when using gold, and nothing else.

If you look at the quality of the armor, it is not very good. PT breaks through very easily. 183 can go, but not very fast. Of course, when compared with others, he is still very smart. You won’t be able to count on dynamics here, but you can change the place without any problems. One has only to start moving and in a few seconds you will find yourself at another point on the map.

It is clear that any of the tanks has its own price. Even the alpha strike is no exception here. The spread here is quite large, reloading also takes a very long time. If some tank manages to get closer to you, then it will not work to stay alive. A couple of shots and you're gone.

Skilo-PeTe T110E4

Good armor, good mobility, incredible balance and much more can be noted in the Т110Е4 PT. The tank cannot boast of alpha, but it will be quite easy to survive on it in difficult times.

The melee PT is easy to move and has heavy armor. The armament cannot really boast of itself, but other things open up many advantages for us. This unit in the team can solve a lot of things. It is clear that it is not worth entering a random battle on such a tank. But to get together with friends in a team and start destroying numerous rivals is still worth it. Show your best side on this particular tank, play in a platoon and prove that you can cope with everyone who gets in your way.

Finally

Tanks can be discussed for a long time. Someone will stand on one, and someone on the other. It is clear that both negative and positive comments will begin now. As they say: "How many people, so many opinions." Each of the readers chooses for himself what he likes and suits best. No one is going to impose their own opinion. Choose the right tactics, use a unique strategy and destroy all opponents. Become the best and upgrade those tanks that you feel most comfortable playing. What level 10 tank would you upgrade now?

Sep 14, 2016 Game guides

Tanks are the center of World of Tanks Blitz. Understanding the differences between tanks and knowing which country's tanks are best for you is half the battle. In this guide, I will try to describe the Soviet tank development tree in as much detail as possible, but at the same time I will not go to extremes and will not paint huge tables with numerical data for each tank. The purpose of this guide is to give you an idea of the direction in which you would like to develop your Soviet tanks. Also in our blog you can find a general guide for all nations and deep guides for each of them..

If you have already read the general guide on tanks of different nations, then this paragraph will not tell you anything new - but otherwise, or for repetition, you should familiarize yourself with it before we go directly to the tanks.

Soviet tanks can generally be described as fast and powerful. Of course, they have their weaknesses - the sides of their hulls are usually not very reliable, and the accuracy of the guns is by no means the highest - but they are compensated by serious advantages in speed, thick frontal armor and a huge caliber of guns. Of course, all tanks are different, but if we describe them in general, we can say that they are all divided into two types - light and fast, which must drive up, shoot, drive away and shoot again while the enemy is turning around and heavy, which are able to take one direct hit to the frontal armor and stay alive.

Now let's move on to a more detailed review of the tanks of the USSR.

Light tanks of the USSR

LungsSoviet Union tanks are some of the fastest tanks in the game, allowing them to quickly spot enemies on the map and flank the slower tanks of other nations. These tanks are difficult to hit effectively due to their angled armor, but when hit they take high damage. The first tank of the Soviet branch is the light MS-1, the fastest and lightest tank of the 1st tier. He is able to upgrade the turret to the second level and install two cannons of the second level on it, one of which (23mm caliber) has a high rate of fire, but reduced penetration and aiming speed, and the other (45mm caliber) shoots slower, but has high penetration and is able to destroy other light tanks with 3-4 shots. These characteristics make the first tank of the Soviet branch, the MS-1, one of the best tanks for beginners who want to try out the role of a scout and focus on movement speed. In the future, light tanks of the USSR are divided into branches of the second rank BT and T (BT-2 and T-26, respectively), then they go to the third rank with BT-7 and T-46. The BT-7 subsequently makes it possible to develop a light tank of the fourth rank, the A-20, from which a transition is made to the well-known medium-class tank T-34. The T-46, on the other hand, allows you to move to the middle class earlier, having in the followers of the T-28, a medium-class tank of the fourth rank. As is clear from the text above, after the first light MS-1, Soviet tanks developed along two lines. The first line contains BTs - fast tanks that can quickly accelerate and gain high speed, but have weak armor and inflict little damage to enemies due to the low level of penetration in the installed guns. The second line, T, is more combat-oriented and has increased flotation and maneuverability coupled with higher caliber weapons. The downside is the speed, inferior to BT, and still the same weak armor. The BT branch takes longer to develop to the middle class, but the first representative of this class on this branch is the famous T-34, which has good damage and speed indicators, and, in the future, its improved version, the T-34-85, capable of performing almost any role in battle . The T branch is capable of producing a medium-class tank already at rank four, but this tank, the T-28, is inferior to many tanks of this rank due to weak armor and large size. In the future, this tank "evolves" into the KV-1, a powerful armored tank capable of using three completely different guns for any style of play.

Medium tanks of the USSR

MediumSoviet tanks are considered by many to be the best tanks of this class in the game. Why? First of all, because of their diversity and mobility in performing any task on the battlefield. The T-34 and KV-1 indicated above indicate the further development of medium tanks of the USSR up to the T-43 of the seventh rank - the T and KV branches, respectively, represent faster and more armored tanks. The T-43, on the other hand, combines the mobility of the T-branch and the armor of the KV branch, suffering in terms of penetration of its guns. The T-44 and T-54 tanks following him focus on mobility, speed and size reduction, while increasing the damage dealt. From the T-54 tanks of the middle class of the Soviet branch again fork and at the tenth rank can be developed into the Object 140 or T-62A. The Object 140 is an experimental tank with great speed and maneuverability and the ability to inflict massive damage on the enemy, but suffers from weak armor and easily destroyed modules. The T-62A is a tank with high accuracy, powerful turret armor and considerable speed, whose guns have high penetration rates. Its disadvantages are that its shot has significant recoil, and the hull armor is rather weak.

Heavy tanks of the USSR

heavy tanks of the USSR are also divided into two branches - KV and IS. The KV branch departs from the T-28 medium tank and has heavy frontal armor and high-caliber weapons, while the IS branch is characterized by mobility and angular armor, allowing close combat to be carried out quickly and decisively. The first tank of the KV branch, the KV-1, is good because its armor is the same in all places - this allows you to make it almost impenetrable, placing it at an angle of 45 degrees to the opponent. Also, this tank can be equipped with a 122mm gun, which will make it a powerful opponent even for the “thickest” tanks. But its disadvantages are low speed, low maneuverability, low accuracy and low visibility. If fast tank scouts work well in your team, then this will not be a problem - but if an unmarked enemy is near yours, then it will be much more difficult for you to aim at him. The KV-1 could be further developed into the KV-1S, its lighter and more mobile version, the KV-2, a vehicle for destroying tanks of any strength, and the “fat” destructive tank T-150. The difference between these three options is very critical - the KV-1S and KV-2 do not have the strongest armor, and the T-150 can stop almost any shots with proper positioning; The KV-1S is faster than the other two models, while the KV-2 is capable of firing 152mm rounds (!). In general, all these three models are distinguished by a high caliber of guns, but at the same time they are distinguished by a low reload speed when firing from high-caliber cannons, and only the T-150 has sufficiently strong armor (while losing maneuverability and speed). The KV-13 tank, "evolving" from the KV-1S tank, is moving to the IS branch - a fairly durable heavy tank with excellent maneuverability and speed. The IS emanating from it is distinguished by the same mobility, but at the same time it is capable of quickly firing powerful 122mm caliber projectiles, which makes it extremely dangerous in close combat. Further IS models, IS-3 and IS-8, continue to develop in this direction - high maneuverability and speed make them the most mobile tanks of their rank, and their powerful weapons can penetrate the armor of any opponents. The price is weak armor and a low level of "health" of the tank. The final version of the development of this branch is the tank of the tenth rank IS-7. The IS-7 has high speed and good turret armor, while the gun of this tank is capable of penetrating thick armor. Low accuracy and low speed will not allow this tank to destroy opponents from afar, but it will cope with the task of holding the enemy perfectly. The KV line, meanwhile, is developing along a different path - the KV-3 and KV-4 tanks, following the T-150, have the most powerful armor, but completely sacrifice speed. Their task is to hide allies behind them and divert fire, as they are able to withstand hits of almost any power when properly positioned. But you need to understand that the speed and maneuverability of these tanks are very low - you most likely won’t be able to escape in case of danger, so the maximum maneuvers available to you when an overwhelming enemy force is on the offensive is positioning your tank at such an angle as to receive less damage. The next tank in this line, ST-I, is distinguished by a powerful turret and good side armor of the hull, as well as high accuracy and caliber of guns. It is faster than previous models, but not so much that you can change battle tactics based on speed - rather, you need to understand that such a tank is more designed for battles at medium distances due to shooting accuracy. The final tank of this branch, the IS-4, is the heaviest and slowest tank in the USSR. It can withstand damage from almost any direction and projectiles often ricochet off of it - but at the same time it moves extremely slowly. The IS-4 is a fortress tank that serves as a shield for any other allied tanks and is capable of inflicting moderate damage to the enemy.

Tank Destroyers of the USSR

The first tank destroyer of the Soviet Union is unlocked at the second rank, right after the MS-1 light tank - and this is the tank destroyer AT-1. It is small and very mobile - and at the same time deals very good damage to enemies at long distances. The main problem is that it itself explodes after one good hit or a couple of not very accurate ones, so even light tanks (and perhaps especially light tanks due to their speed) will be a big problem for the AT-1 at close range. Its descendant, the SU-76, is actually a stronger copy of the AT-1, but when fully upgraded, it greatly outperforms its ancestor in its rate of fire. The next tank destroyer, the SU-85B, is a perfect "sniper" - its powerful gun and very high mobility guarantee a hit on any enemy, but the almost complete lack of armor makes it extremely vulnerable, especially to explosive projectiles. Further "evolutions" of the USSR tank destroyers do not differ much from those indicated - the speed and penetration of shells increase, the level of armor is reduced - up to the Object 704, which suddenly loses in speed and guidance accuracy, but acquires powerful armor. The tactics of playing for this tank destroyer change significantly - instead of constant maneuvers, you need to choose the most protected position, turn your frontal armor towards the enemy and aim accurately. The next tank destroyer, the Object 268, loses mobility issues, but gains weak spots on the frontal armor - making it an agile "sniper" again, but still able to withstand inaccurate shots at the edges and turrets.

Conclusion

We have covered almost everythingnon-premiumtanks of the Soviet Union. Some models were considered in more detail due to their exclusivity and efficiency, others were skipped, as they are improved versions of their predecessors. After reading this guide, you can get a complete picture of the features of the tanks of the USSR and decide how (and whether it is worth it) to develop the development branch of this nation. I hope that this knowledge will help you in battles both on the side of Soviet tanks and in the battle against them. Fight like a pro in World of Tanks Blitz!

The balance in WOT Blitz changes with each new update. But there are a few vehicles that have managed to maintain their effectiveness on the battlefield for several years now, despite numerous nerfs. These are the best tanks in the game, capable of dealing and sustaining an enormous amount of damage, if not avoiding direct contact with the enemy at all.

The list below is not a rating, as it contains vehicles of different types and ranks. Rather, it is a list of good vehicles that you should start downloading for fast farming of silver, improving statistics and pumping crew skills. Also, do not forget that the author's opinion may not coincide with yours, and this is absolutely normal :-).

FV215b (183) "Babaha"!

T-62A

The most popular rank 10 medium tank in the game. The Soviet branch of technology, which he completes, is passed literally in one breath and often becomes the first completely open branch for a beginner. The car itself has the best technical characteristics among classmates at its level and is actively used by extras. The T-62A cannon has excellent declination angles and almost the highest DPM (damage per minute) in the entire game.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 233-388
  • : 9.8
  • Strength: 1900
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 50

Leopard 1

A real death machine in capable hands - one might say, a ninja among the top STs! Leopard 1 has the most advanced weapon among classmates. Huge DPM and instant convergence, combined with high mobility, leave no chance for gaping enemies. The tank, unfortunately, has no armor at all, so it is effective only if you have straight arms and an understanding of the mechanics of conducting covert combat. Any attempt to launch a frontal attack will end badly.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 263-438
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 8.6
  • Strength: 1850
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 65

Object 263

This rank 10 Soviet tank destroyer is capable of humiliating opponents with ease thanks to its high mobility and massive damage. The DPM of the Object 264 is almost 4000, and the thick frontal armor allows it to withstand tons of damage without any problems. Of course, the tank is not perfect. Skilled players will be able to spin it without difficulty. Of the minuses of the machine, it is worth noting the poor declination angles and mediocre accuracy, which makes playing on uneven surfaces extremely uncomfortable.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 345-575
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 7.1
  • Strength: 1750
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 55

Grille 15

Pure evil, causing opponents to fight in hysterics. The original version of this killer AT was so good that the developers had to cut it. Despite this, now the Grill 15 remains one of the best anti-tank installations in. It has a full-fledged rotating turret, and its cannon sends enemies to the hangar faster than any classmate's cannon. A high penetration rate makes it easy to dismantle even the most armored TTs for parts, and good maneuverability helps to avoid return fire.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 480-800
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 4.7
  • Strength: 1700
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 50

AT 2

At its level 5, the AT 2 is one of the strongest tank destroyers. The armor of the frontal part of the hull is so thick that it is impossible to penetrate it from any gun of classmates, even with a gold one! Experienced players claim that the face of this British bird can even withstand a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick. Of the minuses, it is worth noting the rather weak mobility and sluggishness. Any opponent with straight arms can spin a lone AT 2 in the field, so you should focus on supporting your allies and not trying to fight alone.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 68-113
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 16.4
  • Strength: 670
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 20

KV-2

Another lethal Soviet unit from the "must have" category. KV-2 at its rank 6 possesses an infernal high-explosive fragmentation gun, which was nicknamed the "log thrower". Everyone is obliged to download this heavy tank, as it not only farms excellent experience and silver, but also raises statistics. For beginners, the car may seem unplayable, but this is only at first glance. The very first successful hit on the enemy will dispel all doubts. But the reload speed and maneuverability of the KV-2 are low, so you have to play carefully.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 338-563
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 5.5
  • Strength: 810
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 35

AMX50B

Fast, accurate, armored. This rank 10 French heavy tank differs from its classmates by having a 3-round drum. In capable hands, the AMX 50 B is capable of providing effective support to allies. Unfortunately, it is difficult to play alone on this unit, despite the thick frontal armor and good gun depression angles. Extras, like developers, are advised to stick to the team style of play.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 300-500
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 6.5
  • Strength: 2100
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 50

comet

An interesting rank 7 British medium tank, the effectiveness of which depends primarily on the player himself. The rapid-fire gun and its excellent angles of depression allow you to easily target enemies in the most inaccessible places. Thanks to good turret armor and high maneuverability, the Comet has decent survivability in combat. In addition, the tank has the highest DPM among classmates of its rank. Recommended to anyone whose stats are above 55%.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 120-200
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 15.0
  • Strength: 1100
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 52

Pz.Kpfw. III/IV

One of the best tanks for farming silver. This German MT 5 rank becomes especially profitable after full pumping. In one successful battle, he is able to farm up to 45 thousand silver. Unfortunately, the car does not have any outstanding features. Usual gun for medium tanks, low degree of armor, mediocre mobility. The main advantage of Pz.Kpfw. III / IV - the amount of game currency that it brings to its owner.

Key Features

  • Basic projectile damage: 120-200
  • Gun rate of fire (rounds/min.): 6.9
  • Strength: 620
  • Maximum speed (km/h): 55

Don't be upset if you didn't find your favorite tank in this top. If he is really good, then he will definitely get into the following ratings :-).
