The most realistic graphics in the game: rating of the best projects. The best MMORPGs with good graphics Top 10 games with beautiful graphics

Are you the owner of a modern Android device? Then you wouldn’t mind checking out its capabilities to the fullest - both processor power and screen quality - all of this can best be demonstrated by games with fairly complex and beautiful graphics, of which, as it turns out, there are quite a few on Google Play.

The best graphics on Android: what does this concept include? Spectacular landscapes and realistic characters, console-level animation and amazing detail - all this is in our selection of games.

CSR Racing 2

CSR Racing 2 is perhaps the most realistic and stylish racing game you can find for Android devices. Incredibly detailed graphics, licensed famous sports cars, drawn so accurately that the line with reality is blurred - that’s what this racer from NaturalMotionGames is all about. Therefore, his choice is not at all surprising - it is difficult to find a more beautiful game. But its essence is not only in the visual parameters - the gameplay here is no less impressive than the graphics.

MORTAL KOMBAT X

In this development from Warner Bros. Not only will you meet familiar characters from the famous fighting game series, but you will also encounter promising newcomers, take part in brutal and uncompromising matches and enjoy the quality of both controls and graphics. It is practically indistinguishable from the console version, which will allow your battles to be surprisingly spectacular and realistic.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout

Without this shooter from Gameloft, our list would be incomplete - it is included in the list of games with the best graphics quality since its appearance on mobile platforms. Its spectacular shootouts take place in carefully drawn locations, and the explosions and special effects will not leave you indifferent - it looks exciting literally from the first frames.

Godfire: Rise of Prometheus

The graphics of this game are simply incredible - the Unreal Engine allowed the authors from Vivid Games to demonstrate to gamers amazing special effects, the play of light and shadow, realistically animated characters and spectacular landscapes, against which dynamic and bloody battles take place. The game's setting invites you to a time when gods and titans ruled the roost, and the epic and large-scale events of ancient myths were reality - you won't be able to tear yourself away from this, believe me.

Assassin's Creed Identity

Ubisoft developed this action-RPG for mobile platforms using the Unity engine, so we have no doubts about the graphical parameters of the game. Italy during the Renaissance is beautiful - and this is your chance to see it for yourself. Choose a class, customize and develop your assassin, complete missions and go through quests - there is so much content here that you will not get bored. Your character will be able to freely move around the game world, visiting real-life places, and this excursion into the Middle Ages will be surprisingly addictive.

The Talos Principle

One of the best and most entertaining PC puzzlers from the developers from DevolverDigital has become mobile, but, unfortunately, it is only compatible with devices running on NVIDIA K1 or X1 processors. However, we have included this game on our list, if only because its graphics are incredibly beautiful. And this is not counting its other advantages - a huge number of stylish puzzles, intuitive controls and a deep plot.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

A balanced combination of action gameplay, adventure elements and stunning graphics is what this development from Oddworld Inhabitants Inc. represents. The authors promise us 20 hours of exciting action in the role of a strange-looking bounty hunter who arrives in an abandoned village inhabited by equally, if not more strange creatures. This Wild West story comes in a visually whimsical yet incredibly beautiful package - download and enjoy.

The Walking Dead: Season Two

This acclaimed adventure series from Telltale Games is divided into seasons of several episodes each and impresses not only with its well-thought-out storyline, but also with its stunning, stylized graphics. The game's characters are based on the characters from the series "The Walking Dead", and the authors managed to convey both their appearance and character in the best possible way. Play as your favorite heroes, feel the chilling horror of clashes with zombies, survive in inhospitable locations - a ton of emotions is guaranteed to you.

Horn™

Looking for console-quality graphics and a fun action-adventure game? Then Phosphor Games Studio has something to offer you: their development Horn has all the necessary qualities to make it difficult to put down. The adventures of a young blacksmith await you, who is trying to free the inhabitants of his village by returning them to their former appearance. He will have to fight incredible monsters and see picturesque locations, solve many puzzles and return harmony to his world.

The Room Three

It would be impossible not to mention this stylish, real-world physics-based puzzle game on our list. The world of this game is interactive and responds to your every gesture, objects are drawn in surprisingly detail, and each of them hides many secrets that you have to uncover. The combination of a mysterious atmosphere with quality graphics amazes the imagination and does not allow you to stop - this game is so addictive that you will definitely want to complete it to the end.

Over the past two decades, many top and monotonous MMORPGs have been released. I decided to surf the Internet and collect the best projects that will definitely delight you with cool graphics. You can already play some of them, both in the West and in Russia, but the developers continue to work on others.

Tree of Savior

Before creating the project, the developers of Tree of Savior were inspired by the cult MMO. In fact, the guys improved the graphics and added new content. Get ready to face hordes of enemies, go on a raid, visit a dungeon and, of course, snatch goddesses from the clutches of darkness. But, before downloading the game, make sure that the controls and camera position are suitable for you. You can give orders to the hero using the mouse, and watch from a bird's eye view. Thanks to the isometric view, there is a chance to spot the enemy in advance and come up with a plan.

The game was released in 2010, and in 2013 the developers announced a re-release. As a result, the graphics were improved, many systems were changed and bugs were eliminated. The key feature is the ability to see the past. Look behind the screen, filled with colors, special effects, adventures, exploits and battles. Each individual mission is a fascinating journey.

If just 10 years ago the graphics in games were, to put it mildly, with slightly noticeable polygons and angular textures, today games can boast of a very realistic world with detailed drawing and lighting close to real life. Sometimes it becomes difficult at first glance to distinguish what is in front of you, gameplay footage or footage shot on a camera with a blur filter applied. Today, we’ll look at just such games.

Over the past year, excellent projects have been released that can boast of their realism and help the player to completely immerse themselves in the virtual world. Let's look at the most popular games with realistic graphics according to the gamers themselves.

Our top contains games released over the past 5 years, including 2017. If you are interested in games with the most realistic graphics that will be released in 2018, then watch this video:

Top 10 games with incredible graphics 2018 | The most anticipated games on PS4, Xbox, PC

Now let's look at games with realistic graphics that have been out for a long time and you can play them right now.

Project Cars

But the graphic component can shock a person who has not seen good pictures in games. The developers tried to make everything so close to reality that sometimes you get the feeling that you are really watching a program about racing. All models are made of very high quality.

The game looks photorealistic. But in everything else it’s mediocre, which is why it received low ratings from both critics and audiences.

This game came out from the hands of the developers Guerilla Games and saw the world in 2017. However, you can only play it on the PS4 console. There is no PC port yet, but it is likely that there will be one soon. The developers did not give a definite answer. The game is very fresh and not similar to previous “hog killing” simulators.

The game's setting immerses us in a style that has never been used before. The German company was able to mix primitiveness with the technological revolution. The player will have to visit an unexplored planet, the flora and fauna of which is very similar to the era of dinosaurs. Moreover, absolutely everything is connected with unusual futuristic technology.

The developers managed to convey the atmosphere completely with the help of excellent graphics. And she really amazes the imagination here. Advanced technologies are used, which may set a mandatory level for any “AAA” game project.

GTA V

Well, there is no way to ignore the creation of Rockstar Games on this list. These guys always came out with games that became cult and super popular. Just look at one of their series – Grand Theft Auto. By the way, it was these games that gave the company wide popularity.

In the fifth part of the “bad guys” simulator, they decided to focus on graphics. And it worked out great. The graphics are very realistic. Players on PC can enjoy the most beautiful picture.

The giant of the video card industry, Nvidia, just at the time of the game’s release, introduced technologies that make the usual “plasticine” graphics more realistic. The main work was done on shadows, clouds, reflections, post-processing, hair and decals.

But GTA V is interesting not only in terms of graphics. The developers focused on the realism of the game world. It worked out great, with most of the characters constantly busy with their own things. They sleep at night, go to work in the morning, walk and relax in the evening, and interact with each other. Strange events are constantly happening, which really enliven the world and keep the player busy for a couple of extra hours.

This game can be called the most realistic game in the world, but, as you know, not everyone will like it. Moreover, on a PC it has serious requirements for a comfortable game with maximum graphics quality.

Adding a multiplayer game mode is a great move on the part of the developers. This allows many gamers to cooperate to complete missions and increases replayability. I want to go into the game again every day.

Uncharted 4

The game from Naughty Dog turned out great. The highest reviews from critics, similar opinions from players. All games in the series are adventure shooters that have a fairly rich and detailed world. This part was simply a masterpiece in graphic terms.

Sometimes during the game it seems that the developers meticulously drew every cobblestone, even in places where it would seem to be completely unnecessary. The highest texture resolution shows that the emphasis was placed on graphics. And it was the right decision.

The atmosphere is well conveyed by the style of the image, elaborate shadows, and light. The musical accompaniment, as always, does not lag behind. All this, coupled with a well-written plot, which, by the way, continues the story of the previous game, makes players start the game again and again.

In general, all fans of stunning graphics are recommended to play through.

Infamous: Second Son

The games in the Infamous series are made in a genre that is unusual for many players. You have to play as a hero who can absorb the “superpower” of others. The main genre of the game is action, but there is an open world, which is extremely unusual for such games.

The game has a moral choice, which is presented in the following form. the player will need at the very beginning what he will do as the game progresses: a hero who helps everyone or a villain who cares only about his own personal goals.

The gameplay has been expanded compared to previous parts. Now you can have in your arsenal not one or two elements, but four at once. But the plot is not executed at the highest level. In principle, the game stands out not for its sharp and intense plot, but for its advanced graphics.

The graphics are really well thought out. All effects from fire, lightning and other things are made very realistic. The textures are high resolution and well drawn. Lighting effects, shadows, object physics - all this makes the game stand out from others. The graphical component is the strongest aspect of this game.

Star Citizen

It is very difficult to say anything about this game since it is under development. According to the developers, it will turn out great and will feature chic, well-designed, realistic graphics.

As the name suggests, the game will be related to space. The player will need to build relationships with other residents. It will be possible to trade with some, and you will have to fight with others. Based on its concept and description, the result will be something very suitable and of high quality, which the average gamer has not yet had time to get tired of.

Far Cry Primal

The Far Cry series is one of the most popular open-world shooters in the niche. In their new part, the developers decided to conduct an experiment. They combined a shooter with a primitive world. It turned out very good and fresh.

One of the unique features of the game is the ability to tame wild animals. The function looks interesting. Just imagine what it’s like to run around with a bow and have a saber-toothed tiger as your assistant. At the very least, this is unusual for such games.

The graphics especially stand out. Made with high quality. The developers did a good job on the animals, effects, light and shadows. It turned out to well transfer the atmosphere of that time and immerse the player in this world. The game is highly acclaimed by critics and the community.

The game was one of the first to claim realism. It was in it that the developers for the first time tried to connect not only the plot, but also the graphics and atmosphere with real life. But at the time of development there were no special technical means, so the game turned out not at the highest level. Not only critics, but also most players speak about this.

Multiplayer deserves special mention. This is really the strong point of the game. There are no cheaters here, which are not uncommon in other shooters of this type. For example, in Call of Duty, Battlefield this is an eternal problem. At the moment, the graphics are no longer advanced, but as the progenitor of the path of realism in games, it is a very good project.

Tom Clancy's the Division is a slow-paced shooter with tactical elements. The battles take place at a leisurely pace. The plot is quite simple and boring. Only the names and situations change. In this particular game, the player will have to shoot the “bad guys” in New York. But the implementation has already been done better. You can complete missions either alone or in a company of up to four people.

The graphics are done well. It is immediately clear that the developers focused on it. As always, working with shadows, lighting, and effects does its job - it conveys the atmosphere that the developer wanted to convey. In principle, the project turned out to be interesting, especially if the gamer has the opportunity to play with friends.

Bottom line

As you can see, the gaming industry does not stand still and is constantly evolving. And he is moving forward by leaps and bounds. Every year more and more excellent products appear that allow you to have a great time in your free time. Perhaps someone will argue that graphics are not important for the game.

This is partly true, but the validity of this judgment cannot be extended to all genres. Agree that for an RPG, for example, not only the graphical component is important, but also a deep atmosphere, dialogues, good voice acting, an interesting plot worked out to the smallest detail.

But in racing games, few people pay attention to these components. Because most of the time the player is in the race and looking at the picture. Of course, there are exceptions to any rule, but the vast majority fall within the framework of this rule.

It’s simply impossible to name the best game with the most realistic graphics. Here everything depends on individual perception and there simply cannot be a single correct opinion. All games featured are selected and described based on overall player ratings and reviews.

Every year, the picture quality of desktop games is steadily moving forward. If not so long ago, 3D action games amazed you with the absence of a ladder of pixels and smooth lines, today it is difficult to surprise avid gamers even with 4K textures, realistic shadows and incredible sun glare, so similar to the real thing. And yet, some modern games still manage to raise the already high bar of graphics, demonstrating ever more vivid beauty, the highest level of detail and simply stunning animation effects. It is projects like these that fully justify the costs of gaming computers, the price tags of which are also steadily rising.

GTA V

The fifth part of Grand Theft Auto cannot be called a new product, because it was presented almost 5 years ago. However, thanks to official and unofficial mods that support 4K graphics, it still deserves to be included in the list of games with the highest quality graphics. First of all, it can surprise you with the most realistic picture, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of a huge open world. It is realism that has become the real calling card of the game, allowing you to discover something new every day. GTA V on Steam.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

This is already an unconditional hit of the entire decade, which will be included in more than one top best games. The Witcher 3 has received the highest ratings and the most flattering reviews, including for its incredible graphics that immerse you in a fantasy world. The elaborate design of the Northern Kingdom locations, where the main action of the game takes place, will be used as an example for other developers for a long time. Attention to the smallest details of the environment, amazingly realistic nature, character animation - all this is based on the proprietary REDengine 3 game engine, developed by the CD Projekt RED studio itself. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Steam.

Destiny-2

An excellent continuation of the gorgeous multiplayer sci-fi shooter, also released on PC. This game doesn’t pretend to be realistic, but given the genre it doesn’t need it. Destiny-2 impresses with high frame rates, ultra-sharp textures, support for HDR effects and a mesmerizing atmosphere that immerses the player in the depths of space. The ability to choose a first or third person view allows you to enjoy the picture from different angles. Destiny 2 on battle.net.

Assassin's Creed Origins

The tenth game in the series of the same name, the plot of which will take you to Ancient Egypt. Huge open spaces for exploration, many water obstacles, pyramids, deserts and incredibly beautiful battles with opponents await you. All this is complemented by a system of changing the time of day, allowing you to take advantage of the benefits of the night. You can explore the locations either on foot, periodically transferring to a boat, or on horseback or even a camel. Fans of action and open-world RPGs will certainly be interested in the game. Assassin's Creed Origins on Ubisoft Store.

Battlefield-1

A first-person shooter for PC and consoles that allows you to plunge headlong into the fierce battles of the First World War. You will experience battles on the ground and in the air using all possible equipment of those times, including airplanes, the first tanks and even airships. Impressive locations and many destructible objects will provide you with maximum freedom of action and the opportunity to independently think through your plan of attack. For complete immersion, the game may offer the option to disable the interface. Battlefield-1 on Origin.

This is an action game dedicated to the events of World War II. The developers decided to try to improve the classic, and they definitely succeeded. Even many of the special operations familiar from other games here do not look like a well-worn topic that can get boring after 5 minutes. This also applies to the landing in Normandy, with which the game begins. The excellent detailing of the main characters, the quality of light reflections and shadows, the setting of missions - all this does not allow you to relax for a minute. It's like you're becoming the hero of a movie, and this is far from a high-octane action movie. Call of Duty: WWII on Steam.

Despite the scandal surrounding monetization, this game is worthy of the highest ratings for its graphics. This is largely due to the Frostbite engine, which ensured incredible dynamics of battles. The genre is a first-person shooter with the ability to switch to a third-person view. Of course, it's entirely based on the Star Wars universe and is among the games that blur the precarious line between the Star Wars films and the game implementation. Fans will especially appreciate the opportunity to play as characters and fighters from planets from all three eras of the Universe. Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Origin.

The Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition was able to surprise with a large and truly living open world, available for exploration at any time. At maximum graphics settings, the drawing distance and clarity of all textures are simply amazing. Lighting, shadows, animations of sparks and fire, the movement of grass and smoke can surprise even the most avid gamers who are demanding of the picture and gameplay in general. Even if you don't really like Japanese RPG style, the new Final Fantasy may well interest you. Final Fantasy XV on Steam.

DOOM

Already in 2016, this successor to the legendary series was significantly ahead of its time, raising the bar for graphics and dynamism to unprecedented heights. DOOM players will be taken on a terrifying journey into the depths of Hell. And everything would be fine, because the motif is painfully familiar, but the unique visualization of textures, shadows, lighting effects and the detailing of terrible monsters make you forget about everything you knew before. Even for DOOM fans, who had gone through all the previous parts of the game far and wide, this re-release seemed like a radically new project, like the second wind of an eternal classic. DOOM on Steam.

This arcade car simulator is created for all fans of classic racing that does not violate the laws of physics. The main graphical trump card was realism, and it’s not only about drawing locations and the cars themselves, but also about believable weather animation. Playing Forza Horizon 3, you catch yourself thinking that the screen is something between high-quality video and ultra-clear computer graphics. It is unlikely that anywhere else you will be able to drive the best sports cars of our time with the same realism. Among 350 cars, everyone can find a model to their taste. Forza Horizon 3 on Microsoft Store.

There are many compelling arguments for gaming consoles, but when it comes to graphics quality, the PC instantly takes the lead. So, even on the new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, most games only run at 900p and 720p, respectively. Whereas even a mid-priced PC can run games at 1080p or even 1440p, and top-end PCs can run games at 4K. Don’t forget about additional graphics technologies that are only available on PCs: improved anti-aliasing, natural light simulation, fine particle physics, etc.

The first part of Crysis, released in 2007, was clearly made with a reserve for the future - at that time there was simply no PC capable of providing smooth gameplay at maximum graphics settings. The third part of Crysis also turned out to be a reference: at least as realistic grass (each blade of grass lives its own life) is not found in any other modern game.

Metro: Last Light Redux

The post-apocalyptic shooter Metro: Last Light initially set an extremely high bar for graphics quality - leather jackets look especially realistic. By the way, we regularly use the built-in Last Light benchmark in our reviews to test processors and video cards. But the developers 4A Games went even further and released a re-release of Redux, including both parts of Metro, with improved graphics.

TES V: Skyrim (+Mods)

The fantasy role-playing game TES V: Skyrim was originally incredibly beautiful, but certainly not high-tech. Fortunately, folk craftsmen got down to business and soon released a set of improved textures. Almost everything was redrawn: the faces of the characters, chain mail, swords, animals and dragons, and, of course, the main attraction of the Skyrim region - nature.

The car simulator Spintires is notable not so much for its graphics, although they are very decent, but for its ultra-realistic physics, for which the Havok engine is responsible. The game offers you to drive jeeps and trucks over rough terrain. There is a high risk of getting stuck in mud or sand.

It’s one thing to make beautiful graphics in a single-player corridor game, and quite another thing in a multiplayer game with spacious maps. Moreover, an online shooter simply has to run at 60 FPS. The main innovation of Battlefield 4 was the Levolution technology, which changes the map beyond recognition directly during a multiplayer match. A falling skyscraper, a collapsing dam, an ocean storm and a sandstorm - this is not a complete list of the graphical beauties of Battlefield 4.

Rise: Son of Rome

Ryse: Son of Rome is another “monstrous” game from Crytek, the authors of the Crysis trilogy. This time the theme of the near future was replaced by the distant past - the era of the Roman Empire. The levels in Ryse are much less spacious compared to Crysis 3, and the game itself has become, in fact, a “movie”, but quite dynamic and, most importantly, very beautiful.

For me personally, Dying Light was the main pleasant surprise among the games of the first quarter of 2015. Not only is its gameplay and atmosphere completely different from its predecessors (Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide), but the quality of the graphics has reached a radically new level. Moreover, Dying Light is beautiful in different ways during the day and at night.

The final version of the Project CARS car racing simulator has not yet been released, but the graphics of even the beta version are impressive. If the nature around the racing tracks is drawn well, but nothing more, then the track surface itself and, especially, the cars look superb. Perhaps this is the first and so far the only computer game that can, albeit with a stretch, still be called photorealistic.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The third part of The Witcher is another game in our ranking of the most beautiful that has been postponed several times and has not yet been released. It’s probably impossible to call it realistic – its color scheme is very unnaturally variegated. But the work of the artists and the graphic technologies used in the costumes of Geralt and his companions, as well as the world around them, are impressive.

Unreal Paris is not a computer game, but just a small demo scene on the brand new Unreal Engine 4. But, damn it, it has the most real photorealistic graphics! The demo features a stylishly furnished apartment in Paris that you can wander around. The wood textures and fabrics on the furniture look amazing. And, best of all, Unreal Paris has a very natural color scheme without the blue and orange filters that are now fashionable in cinema and game development.
