Realms is coming to Minecraft Pocket Edition! What is Minecraft Realms

Mojang gets a lot of emails every day asking when Realms mode will be added to Minecraft.
For this reason, I am happy to announce that work has begun on Realms for Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Beta versions.
What is Minecraft Realms?
Minecraft Realms is the easiest way to play Minecraft with friends and family. Realms are worlds that are always online and can only be accessed by a specific group of people that you define.
Can I play with people on other platforms?
Yes! Minecraft Realms will support cross-platform play between IOS, Android, Windows phone and Windows 10 Minecraft versions. We use Xbox Live logins to make this possible. If you haven't already, don't worry, they're quick to create and free! Minecrafters have been playing Minecraft through Xbox Live since we released the Xbox 360 Edition back in 2012 and it supports multiple platforms so it made sense for us to use it for Realms.
Will Realms be paid?
Yes - we have to keep servers running 24/7 so Minecraft Realms is paid service. We are not yet ready to announce the cost.
When can I receive it?
Minecraft Realms will be officially released soon, be patient!

To do this, we will use the Xbox Live authentication system, but if you don't have an account, don't worry, it's fast and free! Minecrafters have been playing on Xbox Live since the release of the Xbox 360 Edition in 2012. And since there is support for various platforms, we decided to use it for Realms as well. By the way, since we are already part of Microsoft, then the possibilities for accessing technologies and Xbox Live servers are already slightly different, so this is really the best choice.
Will I need to pay for Realms?
Yes. We keep servers running 24/7, so Minecraft Realms is a paid service. We are not yet ready to announce prices. But an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you don't need.
When can I use it?
While Minecraft Realms has not yet been officially released. However, we are running a free alpha test for Android devices. If you want to help us check everything, if you have an Android device, as well as Minecraft Pocket Edition, purchased officially in Google Play, then you come to us. And of course you will need Account Xbox Live, in the future it will also be needed for online play - for single player you can still do without it.
