Stomach of the Cave Troll Witcher 3 console command. Where to look for the Troll

A long and difficult (interesting) task for the first chapter. The official description of the task can be read here, but much of it remains unclear, so here I will write everything in detail, and with answers to frequently asked questions.

Let's start with a question “I don’t have a task for a troll”

Troll Mission is a free DLC (add-on) that must be installed separately. To install it, you need to either download it separately (for versions 1.0.0.#) or install patch 1.1. I recommend installing patch 1.1, because... the same patch solves the problem with playing dice, which we will also need.

Another frequently asked question is “What to do with the key from Dimitar.” It is needed to open the bandits' house, it is located. What can be found in this house? See below (and who can’t get there? Watch the video, part two, last 5 minutes).

After installing the patch, the task with the troll will appear on the notice board. Next, I recommend watching the passage of the quest; a large number of questions will immediately disappear:

For those who cannot watch the video, complete the task step by step:

  • we go to the troll, talk, fight. The next choice is either kill him or listen to his problem;
  • we return to Flotsam, find Zoltan in the tavern, ask him about the troll’s head;
  • We go to “Burned” to find out where he got the troll’s head and who sold it to him. We win it in poker, choose an item, choose the head of a troll;
  • we return to the tavern, go downstairs, talk with the man in the center of the room, find out where to find Dimitar. Before talking to him, save in case you can't intimidate him;
  • we go to the cemetery, kill Dimitar and his company;
  • we return to the troll, give him his head, and say that the murderers of his woman are finished;
  • we return to Khorab, we get 100 or 200 orens.

P.S.

The task has two main forks (1) we help the troll -> we kill Dimitar -> we get the key to the bandits’ house, where we find “Excellent Cord” with damage 16-23 and two slots for reinforcement. Or (2) we kill the troll and get the ingredients for the task “The Heart of Melitele” (Chapter I).

In the second case, completing the task “Trouble with the Troll” will look like this:

  • take the task on the notice board;
  • we go to the troll, fight and kill him (take the “troll tongue” from the corpse);
  • We receive a reward from Ludwig Mers.

Player Additions

I didn't kill the troll. After meeting Zoltan. It was not possible to take the head of the Troll Woman from Burnt, since I had already won him at cards before that moment and chose a different reward. But you still go after Dimitar, and kill him and all his accomplices. We report to the Troll, then to the elder Khorab for the reward. We get 200 orens. Then again to the Troll, we talk, there in the dialogue “and still I have to kill you” we finish off the Troll, we take the tongue for the quest Melitele’s heart.. And BOTH quests are completed.

If you don’t win at cards before talking to the troll, then you can win his head, pull the tongue out of it, give it to the troll, and for this they will give you a drawing of the raven’s armor.

The task “Troll Trouble” appears in The Witcher 2 after installing the free DLC along with patch 1.1. The expanded edition of the game The Witcher 2 already contains this addition, so the task is available immediately. The contract to kill the troll is on the notice board in front of the entrance to the tavern in the Flotsam market square, where they tried to execute Dandelion and Zoltan, and also took place. If you complete the task peacefully, a reward is guaranteed, which can be taken from the locked house of the bandits in the thicket in the southeast of the forest. True, there is nothing remarkable inside: the steel sword “Excellent Cord”, the usual recipe and a rune. But if you return his wife’s head to the troll by winning it from the Burnt One from Bandyuga in poker, then your inventory will be replenished with a drawing of the Hunter’s Armor (in the Russian version of the game the item is mistakenly called the Raven Armor). They serve as an alternative to the "" that can be obtained towards the end of the chapter, but differ from it in characteristics and appearance(no hood). But you can get them at the very beginning by completing just two tasks “Trouble with the Troll” and “”. Raven armor is awarded if .

Walkthrough of the quest “Troll Trouble” in The Witcher 2:

  • From the bulletin board we take a contract to kill the troll, issued by Bernardo Loredo. We run to the destroyed bridge in the southwestern part of the forest, guided by the map. We save a peasant from the nakers, who will tell about the destroyed bridge and the crazy behavior of the troll.
  • After talking with the peasant, we either simply kill the troll, take the tongue and receive a reward from Ludwig Mers in the house on the Flotsam market square, or we fight him, but leave him alive. In the second case, we listen to the story of the murder of the troll woman and run to Bindyuga to the elder. We find Horab in the house opposite the fire (he works by the river during the day), he will ask you to cure the troll from drunkenness. There is no need to look for vodka; the task can be completed without it.
  • After listening to the request and agreeing on the price, we go to the tavern in Flotsam, find Zoltan Khivay and ask him about the troll’s head. Then we go up to the second floor of the tavern to Sheale de Tanserville and repeat the conversation. Having collected information from friends, we return to Bindyuga to Burnt (the house is located in the center of the village, on the left side of the elder’s house). We ask him about the troll's head, which can be won in dice, but for this you need to defeat four opponents: Casimir, Bendek and Zyndarb (while away the time on the lower floor of the tavern), as well as Einar Hussel (lives in the bookstore opposite the dwarf's forge). If you defeat the Bone Burnt before completing the task and take money from him as a reward, then defeating him again will allow you to get the tongue and head of the troll.
  • From the Burnt One we return back to the tavern, on the lower floor we find the Earth Eater (appears in the late afternoon). We learn from him about Dimitar, the troll killer, who with his gang hangs out in the village cemetery east of Bindyuga.
  • In the battle with Dimitar, first of all, we get rid of the guards: against the swordsmen we use simple attacks with somersaults, we pierce the shield bearer with the Yrden sign and finish off with strong blows of a regular sword ([RMB] key). Against Dimitar we use the Yrden sign together with Igni, alternate fast attacks with strong ones, and dodge throwing knives using rolls. To maintain health, we use the Quen sign. Before the battle you need to drink potions: swallow, rook and seagull, which will help restore health, energy and deal increased damage to enemies.
  • From Dimitar's body we pick up the key to the bandits' lair, located in the wilderness behind the destroyed bridge. We return first to the troll, give the head of the troll woman, and then to the village elder in Bindyugu, take a reward of 100 or 200 orens.

Reward for completing the quest “Troll Trouble” in The Witcher 2:

  • Excellent cord: damage 16-22, bleeding and poisoning +10%, 1 slot for runes.
  • Hunter Armor: armor +10, magic damage reduction +3%, resistance to bleeding, poisoning and burning +30%, 3 slots for enhancements.
  • Plans: Endriaga Hide Armor: armor +1, poison resistance +10%.
  • Rune of the Sun: damage +5%.

The Cave Troll Stomach is not as easy to find as it seems. After all, you can’t buy it or get it anywhere, the only solution is to kill the troll and take his organ for yourself. This article will tell you where to find the stomach of the cave troll The Witcher 3.

Where to look for the Troll?

Most big chance meet the troll near Ingvar's Fang. Having reached the pillar, you can notice a level 14 troll, which will be located near the road. After killing him, check the troll's things, sometimes his stomach may fall out. If you completed the mission "Tower from Nowhere" then you won’t find a troll there anymore.

Another troll can be found in the south of Velen. A little further from the Nilfgard camp you will encounter bandits and a water driver. After killing them, a troll will wander near the camp. Kill him and take what you need.

Now you know, where to find the stomach of a cave troll in the game The Witcher 3. The chance that a killed troll's stomach will fall out is 50%. Also, trolls can be found completely randomly in forests and rocks, so as the game progresses you can meet them before you need a stomach. If you killed a troll and did not find a stomach, do not despair, leave that place and meditate for a day until the troll appears in that place again. Good luck!

Elixirs, potions, bombs and oils in The Witcher 3 allow you to enhance Geralt's abilities to gain superiority over your opponents. All of them are manufactured according to various recipes. Each recipe contains a list of required ingredients. These can be herbs, powders, oils, alcohols and mutagens, which are independently extracted from monsters, collected during adventures in various parts of the world, or bought for decent money from merchants and herbalists in cities, villages and populated areas. The rarer the ingredient, the more expensive it is. Recipes are scattered all over the world and appear in chests randomly. The number of elixirs, bombs and oils of the same type is strictly limited: regular recipes allow you to cook only three pieces of the selected item, improved- four each, excellent- five each; With improvement, the strength of the effects produced also increases.

Stocks of used goods are replenished automatically during meditation, even when some minor ingredients from the recipe are missing. The main thing is to have a base in your inventory: for potions - alcohol, alcohol or tincture, for oils - dog, wolf or bear lard. Full list recipes available for making are located on the “Alchemy” tab ([L] key). To prepare, just select a recipe, check the availability of the necessary ingredients and press the [E] key. Take potions only possible when they are placed in special slots for food and drink in the inventory. You are allowed to use two elixirs at the same time (keys [R] and [F]). With each elixir taken, the intoxication of Geralt’s body increases. In case of overdose, poisoning begins, leading to permanent loss of health points. The “White Honey” elixir, rest or an hour’s meditation helps to completely get rid of the harmful effects and superimposed effects. Skills from the “Potion Making” and “Herbal Test” branches on the “Character Skills” tab ([K] key) can strengthen immunity and increase the overdose threshold.

All recipes and blueprints in The Witcher 3 can be found while completing main and secondary quests. Of the entire variety, only a small part can be simply purchased. Featured herbalists selling recipes include: the herbalist from the hut northeast of Oxenfurt (#6 in the table above), the druid Gremist from the grove of Gedyneith Oak on the eastern side of the main island of Ard Skellig (#9), and the herbalist from trading store northwest of the Hierarchs' Gate in Novigrad (No. 15). As Geralt's level increases and the plot develops, improved versions of potions and oils will begin to appear on sale, so you should periodically check out the stores. Once a recipe is found, it will automatically disappear from sale. Improved versions of items are made only from rare ingredients obtained from unique monsters, orders for which appear on notice boards.

To disassemble into component parts, you need to contact the artisan with the phrase “I want you to do something for me,” then press the key twice to move to the “Disassemble” tab. Having selected a component from the list on the left, you must confirm the action with the [E] key. First of all, you should disassemble easily accessible components that can be bought from merchants; it is better to leave rare components for creating improved potions. For example, it is best to obtain monster essence from water essence, which is sold in large quantities from herbalists. Basic Ingredients- mutagens, hair, brains, eyes, ears, teeth, tongues, bones, claws, hearts, essences and feathers of monsters - drop from almost all monsters of the average and high levels, they can also be found in nests and lairs destroyed by bombs. If during the passage of The Witcher 3 you complete most of the secondary tasks and explore all the places marked on the map with question marks, then the extracted ingredients are guaranteed to be enough to create all the potions, oils and bombs. Ingredients take up little inventory space and do not need to be sold to merchants.

Where to find (on the map):

To begin this task, you will need to go to the notice board located in the village of Blandar, where you can find the “Missing Miners” order. The announcement will say that several workers went to the mountains in search of valuable ore, but never returned. Elder Svarlag is looking for a brave person who can find the missing people, for which he offers a reward.

To continue, you will need to go to the elder and find out the details from him. He will tell you that just north of the village, according to rumors, there are deposits of silver ore, due to the urgent need for cash, to continue raids and repair ships, he decided to send several men to that place in order to check the rumors about silver. The witcher will immediately suspect that some kind of monster could live in the mountains, which was the reason for the disappearance of people.

It is into the mountains that you should go; along the way you will come across a miners’ camp, and next to the fire you will find human traces. Also, next to one of the tents, you can find a tray with silver ore, indicating that the miners did find silver.

The tracks will lead you to one of the deceased miners, whose chest was crushed, which was the cause of his death.

Not far from the body, using your witcher senses, you can find signs that the person was crawling from somewhere before his death.

It is this trail that will lead you to a cave, inside which, in addition to corpses, you can find the monster, because of which the miners died.

The monster will be a cave troll nicknamed “Hryas-Hryas”; when he sees the witcher, he will immediately attack you, so get ready to defend yourself. After inflicting several blows on him, Geralt will invite the troll to talk. After postponing the fight, he will agree.

From a conversation with the monster, the reason for the attack on the miners will become clear; it turns out they came to his home, and despite the troll’s threats, they began to mine ore, which caused his anger, which is why they died. You will have choice carrying certain consequences:

1. This will not be in vain for you - The monster killed several people in cold blood, although defending his home. Therefore, Geralt will decide to deal with the threat. The monster is strong enough to kill the troll, you will need all your strength, the Quen sign will be very useful, which will protect you from the powerful blows of the troll. The fight will be quite long, but having won, you will be able to collect a trophy from the corpse of a defeated enemy. All that remains is to return for the reward. By killing the troll you will receive 200 experience points and a reward for which you agreed with the elder.

2. And okay. They asked for it themselves - Geralt, who is lenient about the tricks of monsters if they are aimed at protecting against the actions of people, will decide to let the troll go, finally telling him not to attack people anymore. Having agreed, the Troll will thank the witcher for his kindness by paying him 50 crowns and also giving him 2 silver ores and 25 XP. Unfortunately, you will have to inform the customer that you have not dealt with the monster that killed the miners, for this you will receive only half of the promised reward and only 100 XP.

3. And the most profitable option. You can use the second option first when talking and get a reward from the troll. And only then attack him and kill him, with this news tell the customer that you have dealt with the monster, for which you will receive full payment.

Don't forget to search the cave, next to the troll, you can find a lot of interesting things in the chests. Sometimes it happens bug, in which the Troll, even if you let him go, still attacks the witcher, in which case you will have to either go through the quest again or kill him.
