Where to find a cartographer in minecraft. Minecraft. Location orientation. Forest mansion and new monsters

A new structure has been added - forest mansion, which many players try to find just by flying around the world. But I must say right away that it is simply unrealistic to find it in this way. That is why we have prepared this one, which will help you find a forest mansion in Minecraft PE.

How to find a forest mansion?

This can be done in two ways - using a command in the chat or a special treasure map.

Finding a mansion with a chat command is the easiest way. To get started, you need to enter the command /locate mansion, after which you will receive the coordinates to the nearest mansion.

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but for some reason it doesn't display the coordinate Y(height). Therefore, I advise you to enter it in the range from 80 to 120 and I recommend doing this only in creative mode!

Next, you need to enter these coordinates in the command for teleportation (/tp x y z). In my case, I entered: /tp -14840 100 3208.

Another way is to buy a special treasure map from a cartographer villager.

Finding a cartographer is not an easy task. He looks like a resident librarian, but only cartographer can buy Forest explorer map in .

If you are lucky enough to find it, then don't forget to take emeralds and some other items to purchase the card.

Buy all items (as shown in the screenshots below). This is necessary to increase the level of trust of the resident and upon reaching the maximum level, he will allow you to buy Forest explorer map.

Do not confuse this card with Ocean explorer card. They differ in color: the color of the map with the mansion is brown, and the color of the underwater fortress is blue.

If you have iron nerves and you are ready to go on a long journey, then before your trip, stock up on food, blocks, and tools.

It is very easy to get lost with the map, and only practice will help you understand the principle of the cardinal points and the search for structures.

How to use the card?

You just need to remember some things that will help determine the cardinal directions in Minecraft PE.

The simplest thing is that the Sun and Moon always rise in the east and set in the west (as in real life), and the flower of sunflowers is always tilted only to the east (towards the Sun).

When creating maps for minecraft, many people have a desire to create quests, that is, tasks for players - such as "Kill 5 zombies", "Get 3 diamonds", etc. Previously, players simply created tasks for the players, and the player himself had to count how many he killed, how much he collected, in general, he himself must control the execution of quests, and you can skip any task and move on to the next one, you see, this was completely wrong. But times are changing, command blocks and very useful commands have appeared in the game, now you can do almost anything in minecraft, but with knowledge of programming and a desire to learn game commands that are not written about so often. In this article, you will learn how to assign goods that a villager buys and sells.

To summon a villager with any goods for sale, the Summon command is used. Use latest version Minecraft or use the command of your version. The commands will be quite long, so not all of them will fit into the chat, in this case a command block is used.

Treasure is a new item added in update 11.1. This map makes it much easier to find interesting structures in Minecraft, because. shows the location of those closest to the player. True, sometimes they can be at a considerable distance from home.

There are two types of treasure maps - the underwater fortress map shows where the nearest underwater fortress is located. If you have not been to the underwater fortress yet, I remind you that you can dig up blocks of prismarine for building there, as well as a sea lantern and a sponge that can absorb a lot of water.

The second type of card is the forest mansion card. This is real big house ready to move in. It has rooms containing treasures, in a word, the object is extremely interesting for research, but they are very rare.

How to use the treasure map?

At the beginning, the treasure map looks like a drawing, on which only the outlines of land and water and the dungeon icon are visible. Blue for an underwater fortress, brown for a forest mansion. On the edge of the map you will see a circle, it shows your location. You need to go in the opposite direction until the circle appears on the surface of the map. Then it will load and look like regular card on a small scale. Now it remains to find the treasury and rummage through its chests. The treasure map is a good thing. True, if you are interested in Andorra shopping, you are unlikely to find it on this map.

Where to get a treasure map in Minecraft

First you need to find a village with inhabitants and find a cartographer in it. If there is no cartographer, you can multiply the inhabitants by building additional houses for them. Cartographer sells the map for emeralds and . After the treasury is found, you can find another village or move the cartographer to another place. Then he can sell a card containing the path to another dungeon.

The cartographer looks like this:

In the villages there is still a librarian in the same white robe, so it is easy to confuse them.

Tip: when going for treasures, do not forget to collect food and tools - the path can be very long.

Minecraft Snapshot 16w39c
This snapshot came out not so long ago, and a lot of new things have been added to it. New animals to tame, new monsters, a new dungeon, new villagers, and new very interesting chests - all of this appeared in snapshot 16w39a. But snapshot 16w39a turned out to be terribly buggy, the game crashed literally from any sneeze, and therefore now snapshot 16w39c has been released, which fixed many bugs and glitches.

So, first things first.

1. Lamas (Llama). I don't really understand why they added these animals. Unless one of the developers took seriously the comic phrase about "robbing cows". Llamas come in four colors, but silver and white are very similar, so there are only three llamas on the screen - brown, white and sandy. Llamas can be tamed with wheat, llamas can be sat on, chests can be attached to llamas, and llamas are completely uncontrollable. But if you take one llama on a leash, then the rest will follow her and stretch out into a long chain. So a good caravan can come out of the llamas. Lamas spit and are very fond of spitting at wolves, which makes the wolves go berserk and climb to bite the llamas. And there, who will be stronger: a herd of llamas or a pack of wolves. Also, llamas fight each other if one llama accidentally spits at another. Lamas also have new sounds. I did not like them and for some reason seemed like the sounds of zombies.
There are llamas in the mountains and they usually live there in very large flocks. If you kill a llama, then skin falls out of it.

A chest on a llama holds from three to fifteen cells, but I mostly came across llamas with a capacity of six cells. I suspect that the capacity of the chest depends on how much wheat you feed the llama before taming. You can also wear rugs on llamas instead of a saddle, and the colored rug becomes a unique cape for the llama.

I decided to show all capes. So, rugs in order: white, light gray, dark gray, black, blue, orange, lilac, turquoise.

And then: blue, purple (here is a saddle with an enderman), yellow, red, lime, pink, brown and green (the llama in a green rug has a creeper on his saddle).

I liked the llamas more than others with red, pink and brown rugs on their backs.

2. Shulker-chest (Shulker Box). In version 1.9, an additional dimension was added in the Land, castles and new mobs - shulkers. Until now, nothing has fallen out of them, but now their shells will fall out of shulkers. If you combine two shulker shells, you get a purple shulker chest. Shulker chests are not only purple, but also black, white, gray, blue, red, yellow, green and other colors. They can be repainted with dyes. Shulker chests have a new animation and can open up, down, and sideways, as long as they are not interfered with by other blocks.

Shulker chest (or shulker box) is a special chest. It has the capacity of a regular chest and can be used to store items in the same way. But it is also a portable chest. If you put things in it, and then break it (even in creative), then the chest can be picked up and all things will remain in the chest. Moreover, if you hover over the chest, you can read what kind of things are stored in the chest. Basically, it's a portable box and backpack in one. Now it will be easier to deal with the clogged inventory: it will be enough to run to the End, fight the dragon and take away their shells from the shulkers. I think these chests will be very popular.

3. Observer. This is a mechanism that monitors the state of the block adjacent to the side with the sensor. In fact, this is a block update sensor. This mechanism was already in Minecraft Pocket Edition, and now it has been moved to computer version. Now it will be possible to build more compact automatic farms.

4. Resident Cartographer. appeared in the villages new resident- cartographer. He buys paper and compasses, sells clean cards and treasure maps: the Underwater Fortress map and the Forest Mansion map. This villager is dressed as a librarian.

The map of the Undersea Fortress shows this very fortress with a turquoise icon on the map. The white dot represents the player. The closer the player is, the larger the dot. As soon as the player flies up to the place depicted on the map, the map starts to draw and becomes colored.

Map Forest Mansion works exactly the same. Unless the forest mansion looks like a small house somewhere in the forest (usually in dark forest).

5. Forest mansion and new monsters.

The forest mansion is a new dungeon in the dark forest and it looks... Like a huge mansion in the forest. The mansion is quite large and dark - there is practically no lighting. Thanks to this, the mansion is full of monsters, both the new ones that always live in the mansion, and the good old creepers, skeletons and zombies. The mansion can be cleaned, illuminated, and settled in. But it will not be easier (or even a little more difficult) to clear the Fortress. And I decided to walk around the mansion that spawned in my world.

Entrance to the Forest Mansion. Usually the entrance is hidden somewhere in the trees.

Patterns on the walls of the first floor.

Tomb. I placed the Glowstone to light up the room.

Pantry. The chests are completely empty, but you can take them for yourself. Or not to pick up, if there is a desire to settle in a mansion.

A statue depicting one of the new mobs - the Summoner. The Summoner is holding a magic wand, which the real Summoner does not have. The glowstone is mine again to illuminate the statue.

The gloomy corridors of the Forest Mansion.

A secret passage through which you can climb to the treasure chest.

Treasure chest - gunpowder, red dust, a record, a leash and a golden apple.

Camera. Rug bedding and cauldron.

Jailer's room. I installed the glowstone.

Ring for fights. I installed the glowstone.

Dark tree sprout farm. I installed the glowstone again.

Secret room with a chest and a tree.

Staircase to the second floor. I lit the stairs with a pumpkin.

Someone's bedroom with a fireplace. The lighting is mine again.

Large statue of a chicken made of wool.

Large statue of a cat made of wool.

It looks like another dining room or a large office.

Large master bedroom.

And the coat of arms in the bedroom of the owner of the castle.

And here are the inhabitants of this mansion. They didn't spawn in the mansion, so I had to summon them. The first one is caller.

The summoner is an evil sorcerer, he calls on small winged ghosts to help him and such spikes. By the way, summoners attack not only players, but also villagers if they suddenly find themselves in a mansion. Evokers drop emeralds and Totem of Immortality. Totem of Immortality - a very funny thing that does not allow the character to die if he holds this totem in his hand. Accordingly, things do not fall out, and the character can continue the fight with the reptile that brought him to death, or try to get out of the hole into which he fell.

The second inhabitant of the mansion is a maniac with an axe. Actually it's called champion, but the name maniac with an ax also suits him very well, because he runs around with an ax and fights quite painfully with this ax. Emeralds and sometimes an ax fall out of this reptile.

And one more thing about the Forest Mansion: the arrangement of the rooms in it is absolutely random. The rooms that I found may appear there, completely different ones may appear. So, for example, in a mansion there is still a large room with a map, various plantations can appear - reeds, wheat, pumpkins and watermelons, and much more. Each mansion is unique, and the next mansion will definitely not be the same as the previous one. Therefore, I think it will be quite interesting to explore the mansions.

In general, the next version promises both interesting innovations and those that cause me slight bewilderment. Plus, at the snapshot stage, it is quite buggy. But what I definitely liked was new mechanism, new chests and Forest Mansion.

And a few more thoughts about this snapshot and the upcoming version: I'm pretty ambivalent. On the one hand, I am satisfied with the llamas, and the mansion, and chest-backpacks, and the mechanism, and on the other hand... Chunks still load buggy for me. But the game runs a little faster, apparently, they did something with performance. But in general, from Minecraft, after buying the game by Microsoft, there is a feeling of Windows: everything is bright, simple and buggy.
Lamas... Well, it generally plunges me into bewilderment. There are cargo trolleys, there are donkeys, there are horses, there will be shulker chests... Why do llamas look like this? There is even less space in them than in shulker boxes. Gather caravans? Maybe the inhabitants will trade with each other and in the next versions there will be villagers-traders? A mansion is also cool, like a dungeon. And then you can live in it. On the other hand, if a mansion has spawned nearby, then you don’t have to build houses for yourself. Build a dugout, develop a little, light up the mansion, take out the monsters (new monsters do not always spawn there) and settle in a finished beautiful house. In general, the dream of a lazy person. But the observer block is good. However, for me it is also useless: I do not like automatic farms, I prefer semi-automatic ones. But in some places it can reduce the size of the mechanisms, and this is already a plus. I also like treasure maps. I love this style of drawing cards. It is a pity that you can not make cards in this style.

For many years now, we have been involved in a big secret - the secret of the popularity of the game, which was released more than 7 years ago. The game attracts more and more new players, new generations of players come to the game. What is the secret? We know that the game does not have a logical conclusion, so you do not need to buy Continuations and Add-ons, as in other games. And the number of licenses sold allows developers to concentrate only on the game. Constant updates with the introduction of new mobs and structures keeps the interest of the players with experience in the game, especially when there is a qualitative improvement in the game.
The next update is Minecraft 1.11, just like that.

Minecraft 1.11 - Exploration Update brings to the game:

1. Added Cartographers and Explorer cards.

New villager - Cartographer, will sell you unique cards"Explorers" with the location of Minecraft's unique buildings (Temples, Castles) containing treasures.

Here is a link to the presentation of the Cartographer's resident and the Explorer's Map. Says Jeb (Minecraft lead developer, who once brought Redstone to the game and now leads the project):

2. Added a new block - Observer.
A new device is needed to track changes and provide an electrical signal when changes occur on the neighboring block.
Craft Block Observer:

We can say that this is a kind of volume sensor (motion sensor) from real life. It only works on changes that change the id number minecraft block. For example, as in the video, watermelon seeds (id 362) - watermelon (id 103). For players who created chest shops, id numbers have been known for a long time. Link to the presentation of the Observer block:

3. Added: Shulker Shell and Shulker Box.
The shell drops as loot when the Shulker dies. Drop chance 50%. 2 shells and a chest allows you to craft a Shulker Chest, which, when broken, does not scatter the contents in all directions, like a normal chest, but stores them in a block. Which, you see, is quite convenient.

Here is the crafting scheme for such a chest:

And here is a link to a video presentation of such a chest:

5. Added: back portals in the End world.
Now portals on the islands are able to move the player back to the central island (with Dragon towers). Backportals are randomly generated near End cities.

6. Added curse enchantment.
Added 2 new enchantments:
Wearing spell(Curse of Binding). The armor element cannot be removed (in the video below it is a helmet).
Spell of Disappearance(CurseofVanishing). The item does not drop out when the player dies, but disappears (in the video it is a sword).

7. Added Lamas (South American animals from the camel family)
These unique mobs can do more than just carry chests. After taming, they can be covered with carpet (of different colors) to make them more beautiful and distinguish them from each other. If there are more than 1 tamed Lamas, then they create caravans. And for hostile mobs, they have their own "weapon", guessed it? Of course, "camel spit". They give loot only skin (according to idMinecraft - 334, the same skin as loot from a cow), they do not give meat.

8. Added Forest Mansion.
New natural game structure created during world generation. Found only in forest biomes, and displayed on Explorer maps. The house has 3 floors and consists of many details.

9. Added new mobs that inhabit this house.
Henchman (Vindicator). This villager with an ax in one of his hands is a fanatic defender of the next mob.
Conjurer (Evoker). The mini-boss is usually surrounded by defenders - minions. When conjuring, he raises his hands up. Can cast a "bear trap" that erupts from the floor and deals damage to the player. Or maybe summon the next mob.
Flying spirit. (vex). Small flying mobs with an iron sword in their hands. Called by the Caster.
Loot. Minions drop drops of emerald upon death, rarely an iron axe. Casters leave emeralds and the Undying Totem.
Mobs only spawn once during world generation. Respawn is not yet provided.

Video about the Forest House and hostile mobs inhabiting it:

10. Added: Totems of the Undying.
Dropped by the Spellcaster mini-boss upon death. If you hold the totem in one of the hands, then when you receive a mortal wound, the totem prevents death by absorbing damage.

11. Added a new command - location (/locate).
The command allows you to find the nearest requested object. You can request the coordinates of such objects as: EndCity (Ender city), Fortress (Nether Fortress), Mansion (Mansion), Mineshaft (Adit), Monument (Sea Castle), Stronghold (Fortress with a portal to the End), Temple (Temple) and Village (Village).
Moreover, the coordinates of the Temple can be shown as the coordinates of the nearest Igloo, the Witch's House, the Temple in the Jungle and the Temple in the Desert.

12. Removed Herobrine.
