You can earn it in different ways: police, put out fires, be in the role of a doctor ... In a word, there are many ways to make money ... The main thing is to adapt ...

To complete certain missions, you will need guns. In GTA 3, it seemed to me that there were no problems with this. Although the range of weapons is not so great, but still: arms, legs, baseball bat, pistol, ultrasound, shotgun, AK-47, sniper rifle, flamethrower, Molotov cocktail, grenades, grenade launchers... It seems that I didn’t forget anything... You can also repaint your car (in order to get rid of the cops) and mine it (this will be needed both for missions and for general entertainment ).

The creators really worked on the missions in GTA 3. Many thanks to them for this! You will perform completely different missions: some will want you to give their favorite prostitute a lift, others will ask you to steal a car, others will fill up a gang, others will remove their competitor ... What is striking in the game is the choice of cars. There are just a sea of them: these are several types of taxis, and personal cars of groups, and cars for public use ... In general, I counted about 40 of them ...

The control of all equipment is made extremely realistic: if you are driving in a car at high speed, then, just like in real life, you will not be able to fit into some sharp turn, or if you are driving some kind of truck and stop downhill, and then try to to call on it, then you will succeed with great difficulty, if at all! Or imagine - you are sailing on a boat, a storm ... rain in your eyes ... the ship is thrown from side to side on the waves ... right, in real life? That's how it is in GTA 3!

Cars crash very nicely too! If you hit your nose, then the bumper will first wrinkle, then it may fall off, then it will come to the hood ... it will also wrinkle at first, it will open when driving fast, and then it may fall off ... if you continue to rape the car, then the engine will smoke , then it might catch fire and then... BOOM! And no car! It's the same with the rest of the car... Her doors can be wrinkled, which then will open on sharp turns and he will close them very funny. Then they might fall off! So I played GTA 3, everyone admired the game! I think: “This is the kind of game they made ... Everything can fall off ...” And then I thought about disks on wheels - can they fall off? While driving, you can choose one of the view cameras: either the rear view, or the view to the left of the car, or the view to the right of the car, or the front view, i.e. you will see those who ride behind you. If you have an ultrasound and have chosen one of the side view cameras, then you can shoot from your favorite barrel right from the comfort of your car! Well... and that's impressive!

But everything seemed so simple! Drive, shoot, kill, steal - do what you want! But it was not there! The game has the police, and special forces, and the FBI ... It all depends on the level of your crime ... Fill up one passerby - well, what to do ... The cops will come - if they come at all! You blow up a couple of cars - several vans with special forces will rush ... If you fill up the special forces - wait for the helicopter and the FBI ... In a word, you need to be very skillful in order to get rid of them with a slight fright!

The music in the game is also very interesting! When you walk down the street, you can only hear the sounds of passing cars, the swearing of some crooks, the beckoning speeches of prostitutes, the sirens of first responders or the groans of dying people ... but not the music ... But when you get into the car, you can choose between several radio stations... you can also insert your own music, which is very important for any gamer! After all, judge for yourself - then you play under some kind of dregs, and then under your favorite heavy or under something else!

The game takes place in 2001, in the city of Liberty City (yes, this is the name of the city in GTA IV, but Liberty GTA III is completely different). The city is divided into 3 islands. I will describe them in order:

1) Portland. This is where you start your career. Quite ordinary cars drive around the island, so do not dream of meeting a fast Infernus or an expensive Chita on the roads. There are "air" rails on which the train rides (you can ride it as a passenger). Portland is famous for Chinatown, St. Mark, docks and other areas. Only on this island are there such groups as the Triads, Mafia, Diablo. (they are all your enemies to certain moment passing)
2) Stanton Island. It will be richer than Portland, as you can already see sports cars on the roads here, and the Stanton districts themselves look richer. And, of course, what attracts Stanton? Answer: military base, Kenji's casino, piers, construction .. As for the groupings: there are also three of them here, as in Portland: Colombians, Yardies and Yakuza. (all your future enemies except the Yakuza)
3) Coastal valley. This is not even an island, but parts of the mainland. Famous for its rich villas, dam, airport… Airport! That's where you'll need to go when you enter the Coastal Valley! The music in the game, and most likely the radio, is varied. There is also classical music, pop, jazz, rap, in general, everyone will like it :)

Plot

The main silent character, named Claude, was set up by her friend Catalina in a bank robbery. Now you are being taken to jail. But due to one incident, you escape with a black man named 8-ball and take refuge in a shelter. Now Claude has to go through a criminal career from the very bottom to the very top, find Catalina and take revenge on her.

At first glance, the graphics in GTA III may not seem so high quality (2002 already), but after playing the game, you forget about it, because the main thing is the gameplay, not the graphics (IMHO)! Different consoles had different graphics, for example: the graphics on Android and iOS are better than on PC, and on Xbox the graphics are sharper than on PS2. AT GTA versions III on mobile devices, the draw distance has been improved, the graphics are ported from the Xbox, and all character models and textures are also from the Xbox. There are almost no differences on PC and PS2: the blue color brightly highlights the color palette, the draw distance is average, objects are not drawn as clearly as on Xbox, etc.

Pros and cons of the game

GTA III, like any other game, has its pros and cons.
The advantages of GTA III, as I think, are many. Freedom of action, your city, your plot, your secrets, your secrets, the atmosphere of a gloomy city, great characters, DODO :)
But there are also disadvantages. For example, you cannot swim, as in San Andreas, or there are not as many cars as in subsequent GTAs. Bugs, glitches (but there are also funny ones).
