Rise of Mythos - Gods of War. Rise of Mythos — Gods of War Gods of War game rise of mythos

Rise of Mythos - collectible card game with elements of strategy and tactics, the main difference of which from similar ones is the transformation of cards into living beings. It's not enough just to have good deck, it is also necessary to correctly place the creatures.

The battles in Rise of Mythos take place in an interesting wall-to-wall fashion, where two heroes are positioned along the edges of the map and launch "landing troops" of several different mythical monsters along several lanes. Units clash somewhere in the middle, where the strongest survive. Similar combat system allows tactics to run rampant, because, for example, if there are several archers behind the guard, he will undoubtedly break through the defense and survive.

Initially, the player has at his disposal a few miserable mercenaries and elves, but after a while the deck will be replenished with all sorts of rainbow unicorns, armored rhinos, as well as a whole brood of Scandinavian and Egyptian gods. The quests here are mainly aimed at destroying the ghouls, who for some reason constantly come to the central city. They attack in batches, so it's not surprising to see 30 or 40 creatures on the same battlefield.

In general, traditional CCGs have little in common with Rise of Mythos, but at the same time, the project retained the most necessary features for the genre: collecting, combining and using cards for battles.

is a free browser based card game that combines elements of RPG and strategy. After registration, choose one of the four character classes - Warrior, Ranger, Mage and Priest. Each character is designed for a specific map, which you will play for your entire game. From level to level, you improve your map and create your powerful hero.

The gameplay of the game is mainly based on completing the mission. You have a choice of regular tasks within the campaign, as well as daily missions, which are available after a certain amount of time. Both one and the second missions are excellent source internal currency, as well as experience. The campaign includes large territories that you must gradually conquer.

You can exchange the received cards, or sell them at the Auction, which are located on the city map. The game has the ability to create a guild and the ability to fight in a team. Just like, for example, in the game Duel of Champions - a lot depends on how strong cards you have in your deck. You can safely design your own strategy depending on your preference and the number of cards you have.

That is the most important thing in the game. The strength of the card determines everything, in particular, that the most important cards associated with objects and characters.
The game is clearly stylized as a manga, which can be seen immediately by looking at the available cards. By the way, the maps look good, but the rest are already much smaller - I mean interface details, backgrounds and everything else.

The goal of Rise of Mythos is to have fun and it's amazing how enjoyable and fun a simple card game can be!

Rise of Mythos is a browser-based card strategy with elements of tactical battles, during which cards turn into living creatures. This game is different from others, where it all comes down to figuring out whose deck is cooler. In Rise of Mythos, it's not enough to have a good deck - you still need to correctly dispose of it on the field, placing the right creatures in the right cells.

The battles in the game take place in a funny wall-to-wall format: there are two heroes along the edges of the field and several traffic lanes, on which “landing forces” in the form of various fairy-tale creatures land. Landing meets somewhere in the middle, after which mutual annihilation occurs, in which the strongest units survive. Such a combat system leaves a wide scope for tactical creativity. For example, by placing a couple of archers behind the guard, you thereby create an impenetrable blood clot that will live as long as the guard lives.

At first, the player has a couple of miserable elves and mercenaries at his disposal, but as the quests are completed, powerful mythical creatures begin to appear in the deck: all sorts of rainbow unicorns and armored rhinos, as well as a whole brood of Egyptian and Scandinavian gods. Quests usually come down to the destruction of ghouls, who for some reason really liked the central city. They stick and stick, cursed, and in such quantities that sometimes 30 or even 40 creatures are cut on the battlefield at the same time. In general, it has little in common with traditional Gods of War, but at the same time, the game has retained the most delicious finds of the genre: collecting and combining cards.

The city in the game is a place of great opportunities. For example, the Seaport will allow you to send your army on offline raids, the Academy of Alchemists helps you improve maps, and in the Forge you can strengthen the equipment of the main character. Not without the Arena - a sacred place for fans where you can arrange battles in the format 1v1 and 2v2. Guilds await the most successful players, among which competitions are regularly held.

To the credit of the developers, they managed to turn Rise of Mythos, if not into, then at least into something very similar. The game has already managed to survive several major seasonal championships with the distribution of valuable prizes and obligatory holivars in such cases on the forums. A major achievement considering the browser-based roots of the project.
