Skyrim mod for NPC textures. Download NPCs and monsters for Skyrim. The most famous mods of the category NPCs and Monsters

The category of NPC and Monster mods for Skyrim holds a special place in the pantheon of modding. Characters, opponents, companions and other NPCs are what the player first pays attention to and what he always sees in front of him during the game, so there are a lot of modifications of NPCs and Monsters, and most of them rightfully occupy the first lines in the top the most popular mods for Skyrim. The NPC and Monster addon category includes modifications that change the original models, behavior, and everything related to NPCs, characters, and enemies in Skyrim. These can be reworking the textures of the clothes of the townspeople, voice comments of NPCs, changing the proportions and skeletons of models, quests, companions and much, much more. Of course, some mods touch the NPC and Monster categories only in passing, changing the original models and AI patterns of the characters. For example, this applies to almost all quest addons and companion modifications for Dovakiin.

The most famous mods of the category NPCs and Monsters:

  • Interesting NPCs– new NPCs in cities with their own history and comments. They always have something to tell, and you always have something to listen to.
  • Amazing Follower Tweaks– Tweaks to the satellite system, allowing you to change the equipment, number and behavior of your satellites.
  • Inconsequential NPCs– new NPCs with additional quests and history.
  • Windsong Character Overhaul- reworked textures and texture tonemaps for characters and NPCs.
  • RaceMenu- modification of the ~showracemenu command for a better character generator.
  • Ultimate Follower Overhaul– alteration of satellites with a wide range of settings.
  • Alternate Start - Live Another Life– alternate start for each Dovahkiin.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Inhabitants of Skyrim. Complete rework of NPCs

Original name: Inhabitants of Skyrim - NPC Overhaul
Russian name: Inhabitants of Skyrim. Complete rework of NPCs
Current version: 1.5b
Mod language: Russian
The size: Optional
Rops1981 and Me

Description

The mod aims to slightly improve the face morphology of unique NPCs. With a few exceptions, the author tried to keep the original faces, while at the same time trying to make them prettier than in the vanilla version. Approximately 80% of NPCs have their eyes, nose, and mouth changed; in total, more than 800 playable NPCs have been changed. In most cases, the modder simply changed the distance between the individual features of the face and changed its overall shape (jaw, chin and cheekbones). In some cases, wrinkles were removed and facial dirt was completely removed. Other NPCs just changed the tone of the dirt (reduced amount), and yet the miners, blacksmiths, prisoners and a few farmers still cannot boast of washed faces. Your character's companions haven't changed, and won't in the future.

Mod options

First option: "Male and female NPCs with Apachii hairstyles"

  • Male and female NPCs will have new Apachii hairstyles.
  • This option requires:
    • ApachiiSkyHairFull
    • ApachiiSkyHairFemale
    • ApachiiSkyHairMale

Second option: "Male and female NPCs with Apachii hairstyles for female NPCs only"

  • All unique playable NPCs have been changed except companions.
  • Female NPCs will have new Apachii hairstyles, male NPCs will not have Apachii hairstyles.
  • This option requires:
    • ApachiiSkyHairFull
    • ApachiiSkyHairFemale

Third option: "Male and female NPCs without Apachii hairstyles"

  • All unique playable NPCs have been changed except companions.
  • Neither female NPCs nor male NPCs will have the new Apachii hairstyles.
  • Nothing is required for this option.

Requirements:

  • Game version 1.9.32.0.8
  • (Main mod)
  • (Additional female hairstyle set)
  • (Additional male hair set)
  • * For the 3rd version of the mod, these hairstyles are not needed, there will be vanilla games

Note bene:

  • If you chose mod options 1st or 2nd, then you definitely need to have installed mod"Apachii Hairstyles", because without the ApachiiSkyHair Hair Pack installed, the game will crash.

When upgrading from version 1.4 to 1.5b:

  • Be sure to delete the NPC_Overhaul_1_3_.esp and Follower_Addon_V2_.esp files, if any.
  • Install new version over the previous one with the replacement of all files.
  • If you installed the USKP patch and want to install the USLEEP patch, then remove the USKP_NPCoverhaul_Patch.esp patch.

Incompatibility:

  • The mod will conflict with other mods that modify the same NPCs, i.e. NPCs have stats, clothes, scripts, etc. If this plugin is loaded before such a mod, then the NPCs will probably revert to their vanilla faces. Try to find a mod that changes the NPC and download the modification offered to you after.

Installation:

  1. Choose the mod option that suits you - 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
  2. Install the Apachii Full hairstyles pack and additional ApachiiFemale and ApachiiMale hairstyles add-ons (for the 3rd version of the mod, these hairstyles are not needed).
  3. Place the Data folder from the archive into the game folder (Data is not inside Data, but on top), confirm the merging of folders and files and activate in the launcher.
  4. If you have an unofficial USLEEP patch installed, then download patches for USLEEP for the 1st and 3rd versions of the mod from the additional link (there is no patch for the 2nd version of the mod).
  5. There are 3 options in the patch archive:
    • habitants of Skyrim NPCs Overhaul USLEEP Patch - for the 1st version of the mod (for those who have USLEEP)
    • Inhabitants of Skyrim v3 Vanilla Hair USLEEP Replacer - for the 3rd version of the mod (for those who have USLEEP)
    • Inhabitants of Skyrim v3 Vanilla Hair USLEEP CRF Replacer - for the 3rd version of the mod (for those who have USLEEP and Cutting Room Floor).

KS Hairdos 1.4 (do not use 1.5 - some NPCs with it may have gray faces)

Installation:
Unpack to Data folder if you don't use MO, place esp files in launcher or Wrue Bash as low as possible and activate them. Load order between mods is not important
If you are using MO, then run each archive through the MO mod installer, follow the instructions of the installer. activate new mod in the left window as low as possible, but above the Alternative Start if available, the same in the right window...
Be sure to uninstall before updating. old version fashion..

Upgrading from WIP Versions
When upgrading from WIP versions, delete previous versions of the mod or at least esp files: NPC_Ov.esp, NPC_Ov2.esp, Bijin AIO.esp, The Ordinary Women.esp

Notes:
1. It is advisable to install the mod on a save where there are no NPCs to change nearby, and it is best to start a new game.
2. The mod was made with the UUNP Special body replacer installed... With other UNP-like bodies, including 7B, the mod should work correctly... The mod was not tested on CBBE and on the standard game body...

Attention!

With this mod, Argonians and Khajiit become unavailable to players as playable races! Do not install this mod if you play / want to play animal races. The author strongly recommends that you create a backup copy of all replaced files, in case you don’t like the mod, so that you can delete it and roll back the game to the state before installing the mod. The author also strongly recommends that you back up your saves.

Also, the mod is not compatible with any other body, clothing and armor replayers!

Unzip and copy the files to the Skyrim/Data folder.

- In the "Options" folder there are files with additional versions of the body replayer (version with a bikini, a version with an intimate hairstyle and a fixed position of the two-handed sword behind the back). When installing, first install the entire main package and on top of it - the files from the "Options" folder.
