Scarlett has her own ending for the arcade mode in the game (though it is not available in Necropolis): after defeating Shao Kahn and his death, the warrior realizes that, being bewitched by Quan Chi, she killed her emperor. Having "collected" Shao Kahn's blood, Scarlett gains tremendous power after the battle and goes to the Nether World to take revenge on the sorcerer. She defeats many warriors and collects their forces, and after finishing with Quan Chi, it remains to wait for the revival of Shao Kahn.

$torch (rus. Torch) and became the basis for the character, and the warrior in green pants was called Hornbuckle because of the inscription Hornbuckle Who? (rus. Nimbus Terrafaux

Forces of Good:

Lord Raiden- God of Thunder. Centuries ago, the Elder Gods sent him to Earth to protect him from the forces of evil, who went to any lengths to capture the earthly world.

Forces of Evil:

Shang Sung- Shao Kahn's personal sorcerer and head of the tournament. He wants to win Mortal Kombat.

Goro- Prince of the underground race Shokan. He has been the winner of all tournaments for 500 years.

Scorpion- A ghost ninja who rises from hell to help Shang Sung. He will use all his demonic power to stop the Earth warriors.

Sub Zero- Member of a clan known as the Lin Kuei. Able to create and manipulate ice.

Kano- Leader of the terrorist organization Black Dragon. Must defeat Sonya Blade in a duel.

Goro

8. Sonya Blade- an employee of the special forces, which was busy pursuing the criminal organization Black Dragon (their leader is Kano). The trail leads her to the island of the sorcerer, where the tournament is held.

9. Shang Tsung- a strong sorcerer whose main abilities are to steal the souls of the strongest warriors in order to turn into their copies.

10. Chameleon- partially iridescent ninja. One of the main fighters of Shao Kahn, who was present at all tournaments, but did not take part in them.

11. Stryker- The leader of the detachment, designed to pacify the riots. After the opening of the portal, he remains the only one alive in the entire multi-million city. Becomes one of the saviors of the Earth.

12. smoke- A cyborg fighter who was programmed to kill Sub-Zero. Prior to that, he was a member of the Lin Kuei clan.

13. Night Wolf- the guardian of culture for his people. Uses his shamanistic magic to protect sacred lands from Outworld.

14. Sector- the hero of Mortal Kombat, which is the first prototype of a cyborg killer, part of the Lin Kuei clan. He is the son of the Grandmaster and was originally programmed to destroy Sub-Zero.

15. Kitana- Princess of Outworld. Having learned about his true origin from the royal family destroyed by evil, he betrays Shao Kahn.

16. Kintaro- The supreme commander of all the forces of the Outworld, created to replace Goro. Has the ability to spew fireballs.

17. Jax- goes to the tournament in order to try to save his partner - already known as Lieutenant Blade.

18. Sindel- Queen of the destroyed Edenia. Owns ethereal magic, can fly and use sound waves.

19. Liu Kang- a monk from Shaolin, wins a decisive victory in the tournament, saving his own world from destruction. In the future, he dies at the hands of sorcerers, but the Earth is protected by his spirit.

20. jade Allied with Kitana and Sindel. Also not originally from Outworld, but originally served the Emperor.

21. Kong Lao- a descendant of the champion of the tournament. He was also a Shaolin monk. He does not want to be a warrior, but decides to take revenge on the sorcerer.
