Iron artifact relic cell how to open. Artifacts and Class Halls. Hidden Artifact Effects

We touched on the mechanics and leveling of this new type of weapon. In this part, we will talk about how to change appearance World of Warcraft: Legion artifacts.

Update Patch 7.2. In patch 7.2, new artifact skins were introduced. .

At the release, it is planned that the artifacts will have five different styles or types (the sixth will not be at the launch of the add-on, most likely it will be released in some patch) and each style will have its own color scheme. There are several paths that will reveal to you these types and variations of the type of artifact. Remember that you can change them in the Artifact Forge in the Class Hall.

Several important notes. Keep in mind that you can transmogrify an artifact using a different weapon/ A certain weapon style changes its type - for example, for VM hunters, an artifact can be both a bow and a gun. The first five types that will be available at launch are described below:

  • classic view: quests related to the Class Hall;
  • improved view: achievements and quests related to the Class Hall, leveling the artifact and archeology;
  • Valiant View: PvE Progress (5ppl Dungeons)
  • hardened view: PvP progress (prestige levels);
  • hidden view: the path of obtaining varies for each individual spec;
  • other species: were discovered by dataminers, but what they can be obtained for is still unknown.

In order to open variations of a certain style, you must first open its “main view” (Main Tint). For example, in order to gain access to the “improved” style branch, you need to complete the Balance of Power quest chain, and only then you need to complete all the other achievements necessary to get other variations of the style.

Style variations are unlocked for each individual character and do not apply to all characters account- you will need to repeat the achievements on each of them in order to gain access to the style of artifact weapons. The only exception to this rule is the "Glory to the Hero of the Legion" meta-achievement, which is given for getting all the achievements in 5ppl.

Now more about how to access the view and its variations.

Artifact weapons are a powerful tool in your fight against the destructive forces of the Burning Legion that have invaded Azeroth. There is a separate artifact weapon for each class specialization, and these can be enhanced through artifact research.

First things first

In the Legion expansion, all level 100 players are offered a quest to obtain their first artifact weapon. In most cases, players will first start looking for weapons for their primary specialization, or for the new character's first chosen specialization. However, with the ease of changing specializations already at level 102, the situation begins to get more complicated, as players get the opportunity to get all the other items of artifact weapons for their class. Players will be faced with the choice of spreading Artifact Power across all available weapons or focusing on one. Let's try to figure it out and see what to expect from weapon enhancement, and what ways to enhance it.

Knowledge is power

When your character reaches level 110, they will be able to receive a new quest in the Order Hall, which allows them to place orders for research. Each such bounty will provide you with Artifact data that will provide you with a history of all Artifact Weapons available to you, as well as increase the Artifact Power generation rate for all Artifact Weapon items designed for your class's respective specializations.

Extra Strength

There are many ways to accumulate Artifact Power in the game. In addition, you can get additional bonuses for artifacts for a certain gaming activity- for example, for completing a dungeon or participating in a raid or PvP battle for the first time in a day. If you want to increase the power of your weapons as efficiently as possible, try to diversify your activities in the game.

Force distribution

Artifact knowledge will help you upgrade your Artifact weapons faster, but when should you switch from your primary weapon to your second or even third? When your main weapon reaches power level 13, the cost of further strengthening it will increase significantly. You can keep upgrading it further, but you can also switch to other weapons - the cost of upgrading it from level 1 to 13 will be even lower than leveling the main weapon from 13 to 14.

Alternative characters and ways to enhance them

And if you want to develop several characters at the same time? By focusing all your efforts on one character and his weapon, you will eventually achieve perfection in the possession of this weapon faster. But, of course, everyone plays at different speeds, and often with several characters - we have not forgotten about this either. Enhance your artifact weapons minor characters will be easier by speeding up the execution of orders for artifact research. The system keeps track of how much time has passed since the release of the update, and gradually reduces the time required to complete these orders, thereby accelerating the acquisition of knowledge about the artifact. So if you are simultaneously working on the development of an alternative character or just do not spend too much time in the game, the system will automatically adjust to you.

There are a lot of ways to accumulate Artifact Power in the game, and ultimately it is up to you to decide which weapons and to what level you will strengthen. Learn more about Artifact Knowledge

Recently, new artifact updates for version 7.2 were posted on the PTR server, let's take a closer look at what will change.

New Artifact Features

Players with 35+ Traits will receive a quest in Patch 7.2 to empower their weapons. When the quest is completed, your artifact will change and you will receive the Master Craftsman achievement.

  1. The 20 damage/stamina talent will become two separate traits.
  2. It will be divided into Enhanced Feature and Infinite.
  3. All your old 3/3 features will be increased to 3/4.
  4. You will not be able to stock up on Artifact Power in advance for leveling Empowered Artifact.
  5. The Artifact Power spent on Empowered Feature will be refunded. You can spend it on 4/4 talents or upgrade the new Infinite Artifact Trait.

The PTR Artifact Calculator is already available on the test server.

Infinite feature

In patch 7.2, the 0/20 Golden Trait has been replaced with 2 other talents. For example Ancient Power is a 20 feature for the Arcana mage in 7.1.5, in 7.2 split between 1 Ancient Power and Intensity of the Tirisgarde.

It is possible to invest 50 Concordance of the Legionfall points into the new Infinite Feature. Grants a proc - increases the main characteristic for 10 sec. Leveling a new talent 50/50 will give less more damage than 20/20. But it will take much more time to pump than before.

New Artifact Achievement

And of course new achievements! A Challenging Look and Fighting with Style: Challenging

Relic with two traits

Players who purchase the new level 8 upgrade from Class Hall Relic Empowerment will have the opportunity to change how their talents work. Each relic will have 2 levels instead of 1. Research lasts 14 days and costs 30000 Order Resources .

  • The second feature of the relic is random.
  • The second feature is throughput (for example, it will increase DPS, healing, or survivability depending on your role).
  • The second feature cannot be a repetition of the first.

Only the most experienced heroes of Azeroth can meet the Burning Legion's invasion, armed with legendary artifacts. The power of this magnificent weapon grows with yours. You yourself determine its properties, appearance, sounds and behavior in battle. Transform your artifact into the ultimate weapon of war and lead your faction through these difficult times!

As one of Azeroth's greatest warriors, you have earned the right to wield a weapon that is not only powerful, but also named after you.

Fearless Fighters

Warriors can choose one of three specializations: Weapons, Fury, and Protection. The uniqueness of each of them is reflected in the choice of artifact weapons.

  • Arms Warriors are calculated fighters, ready to strike the killing blow when the moment is right. No wonder they are attracted Stromkar, Peacekeeper, one of the best two-handed swords in the world.
  • Those who have chosen the Fury specialization find their delight in unbridled bloody combat. Warswords of the Valarjar best suited for brutal bloodshed.
  • The best defense for Defense warriors will be provided by Armor of the Guardian of the Earth. With this shield, the hero will literally become an impenetrable wall.

Each artifact is the embodiment of the power of the warrior who owns it. Power is hidden in names - remember them, because this legendary weapon will become your faithful assistant in the battle with the enemy, which you have never met more dangerously.

Weapon - Stromkar, Peacemaker

This sword belonged to the leader of the barbarians, who for the first time united disparate tribes under one banner, founding the state of Arathor. A talented strategist and tactician, King Thoradin went on to become famous for bringing an end to the troll wars. Later, his sword was lost while trying to subdue the monster K "Traxi in the tomb under Tirisfal. Lost, but not forgotten, Stromkar absorbed dark energy for millennia.

Fury - Warswords of the Valarjar

A long time ago, the keeper Odin betrayed the sorceress Helia, killed her and turned her into a ghostly val "kira. He forged a pair of swords for the strongest of the Valjar thunder fighters, but Helia stole the swords and endowed them with her rage. She handed the artifact to her knight, who killed the great heroes and doomed their souls to eternal service in Helheim.Valarjar war swords carry the owner into the thick of the battle, and their powerful blows easily break through the defense, leaving the enemy no chance to respond.

Protection - Shell of the Earth Guardian

An impenetrable shield created from the scales of the Black Dragon Aspect Neltharion, Guardian of the Earth, before he succumbed to the corruption of the ancient gods. The shield served the preeminent vrykul king Magnar, granting him victory after victory against all odds. The king fell in battle only thanks to the betrayal of the minions of the Val'kyr Helia. Now the Carapace of the Guardian of the Earth rests with the body of Magnar under the King's Road in Stormheim.

Artifacts are one of the most important innovations of the Legion. They will be the strongest items in the game and other weapons will simply not be competitive. However, getting all the Artifacts suitable for your class is not so easy. In this article, we'll show you how to do it.

So let's start with your first Artifact. The first time you will be given the option to select an Artifact is at the start of the main Legion questline. In it, you will gain access to the class hall, without which you will not be able to receive tasks in the future. Therefore, it is very difficult not to find the first Artifact, and you should not have any difficulties in obtaining it.

To get the second Artifact (both the third and the fourth) you need to get level 102. The NPS that gives the Artifact quest will be located in your Stronghold and highlighted with an orange exclamation point. It can be noted that the quest chain for the second Artifact is shorter than for the first.

Tasks for each Artifact differ significantly. To get Artifacts of Healers you will need to heal a group of allies, for Artifact of Tanks you need to tank something... By the way, you can do the quest for the Artifact of the Priest of Light while in the Shadow specialization, for example. Although these scenarios are tailored to a specific specialization.

But getting all the Artifacts is only the beginning.

The Power of Artifacts.

The main feature of the Artifacts is the talents built into it. Some talents simply increase ability damage or critical strike chance, while others add new effects to abilities. Some talents have levels (For example, the talent of the Witchcraft Warlock "Unstable Witchcraft" - increases the critical chance of Unstable Witchcraft by 2%,4%,6% depending on the level of pumping).

To learn these talents, a new currency is needed - Artifact Power (SA). It can be obtained for completing various actions: completing a dungeon, killing rare opponents, completing certain tasks, etc. Each subsequent study or improvement of talents requires more SA.

It is important to know that the CA is bound to the Artifact that is equipped on you in this moment! Fortunately, SA almost always drops out in the form of an item that can be used at any time.

Relics

Initially, you get an item level 750 Artifact. At the moment, this is more than seasoned loot from the mythic Archimonde, but in the Legion, of course, this will not be enough. To increase the level of the Artifact, you will use Relics - items that give additional characteristics to your Artifact and, accordingly, increase its power!

Each relic has its own element (light, darkness, fire, filth, etc.). And in your Artifact there are three cells that also have an element. It is easy to guess that only a Relic of Light can be inserted into a cell with light.

Relics can be obtained different ways- loot from bosses of dungeons, raids, completing tasks, etc.

Relics themselves also have an item level. The best ones will drop from raid bosses.

Artifact Knowledge

Artifact progress is very slow at the moment. SA is very small and it is tied to one Artifact, so it will be very inefficient to upgrade several characters at once, and just play in parallel for two specializations. To make life a little easier for those who like to play at once for everyone, there is a system of Knowledge of Artifacts. This feature increases the amount of CA received. To get it, you need to upgrade the character to level 110. And get SA on it to increase the multiplier.

But still, a better option would be to decide on a specialization right away.
