The facilitator memorizes the following rhymes in advance. You can come up with many more new ones. The task of the game is explained to the children: when you hear the name of a Christmas tree toy, you need to raise your hand up and say: “Yes!”, And when something that does not happen on the Christmas tree is called, you must restrain yourself and remain silent. WHAT CHANGED?

This game requires good visual memory. Participants are offered a task in turn: for a minute, examine the toys hanging on one or two branches of the Christmas tree and remember them. Then you need to leave the room - at this time, several toys (three or four) will outweigh: some will be removed, others will be added. Entering the room, you need to examine your branches and say what has changed. Depending on age, you can complicate and simplify tasks.

Games and contests with Santa Claus and Snow Maiden

round dances

The traditional New Year's round dance can be complicated, made more entertaining. The leader sets the tone for the round dance, changes the pace of movement, direction. After one or two circles, a round dance can be led by a snake, maneuvering between guests and furniture. The steeper the loops of the snake, the more fun. The leader along the way can come up with various options: include in the chain those who are not participating in the round dance, slow down sharply, etc.

Decorate the Christmas tree

There are two artificial Christmas trees in the hall. - There are only a few minutes left before the New Year, - says the Snow Maiden, - and these Christmas trees have not yet been decorated. Perhaps there are two dexterous people in the hall who will quickly do this. Cardboard toys, papier-mache and other unbreakable toys are laid out on tables 5-6 steps from the Christmas tree. But to complete the task of the Snow Maiden is not so easy.

The Snow Maiden reports that a short circuit has occurred, and the Christmas trees will have to be decorated in the dark (blindfolded). Perhaps someone will hang their toys on a neighbor's tree, but the one whose tree is more elegant will win.

circle toy

Santa Claus invites the participants to stand facing each other. Music begins to play, and a toy, for example, a doll with the image of the Snow Maiden, passing from hand to hand, moves in a circle. The music stops, the transfer of the toy stops. Whoever has the doll left is out of the game. The game continues until one person remains. If there are a lot of players, you can put several dolls in a circle.

Compliments to the Snow Maiden

Santa Claus summons a young man who wants to play, who should say compliments to the Snow Maiden, taking out matches from an apple completely studded with matches. His Santa Claus gives the player before the start of the competition.

Snowballs

In a suspended (or standing on the floor) basket, you need to throw it from a distance of 6-7 steps 6 " snowballs» - white tennis balls. The one who will cope with this task most accurately will win.

Snowflakes

The Snow Maiden invites several guests to take light cotton snowflakes from the tray. Each player tosses his snowflake and, blowing on it, tries to keep it in the air as long as possible. The one who dropped his fluff can approach a friend and help him complete the task of the Snow Maiden.

magic words

The game is led by the Snow Maiden, she invites two teams of 10 people each, gives them a set of large letters that make up the word "Snow Maiden", Each participant receives one letter. The task is as follows: in the story read by the Snow Maiden, there will be words made up of these letters. As soon as such a word is uttered, the owners of the letters that make it up must come forward and, rebuilding, form this word. The team ahead of the opponents gets a point.

sample story

There was a fast river. Snow fell on the fields. The mountain behind the village became white. And the bark on the birches sparkled with hoarfrost. Somewhere the sleigh runners creak. Where are they heading?

Centipede racing

In a fairly spacious room, you can hold centipede races. The players are divided into two teams and line up in the back of each other's head, taking in front hands standing for the belt. A chair is placed at the opposite wall, which the chain of players must go around, and then return back. If the chain is broken, the leader can count the team as a loser. The task can be complicated and made more ridiculous if the teams move half-crouched, if both teams perform the task at the same time.

A variant of this game is "Snake". The "head" - the first in the column - must catch the "tail" that eludes it. Having caught it, the "head" goes to the end of the column, the game is repeated again. The “torn off” chain links are considered losers and are out of the game.

Two Frosts

A group of guys is located at one end of the hall (room) beyond the conditional line. Drivers - Frosts - are in the middle of the hall. They turn to the guys with the words:

We are two young brothers, (Together): Two frosts are remote.

I am Frost-Red Nose.

I am Blue Nose Frost.

Which one of you decides

To go on a path?

Everyone answers:

We are not afraid of threats, and we are not afraid of frost! The players run to the other side of the hall behind the "home" line. Both Frosts catch and "freeze" those who run across. Those immediately stop at the place where they were “frozen”. Then the Frosts again turn to the players, and they, having answered, run across the hall, helping out the “frozen” ones: they touch them with their hands, and they join the rest.

Auction Santa Claus says:

There is a wonderful tree in our hall. And what toys on it! What do you know about Christmas decorations? This magnificent prize will be given to the person with the last answer.

Players take turns saying words. During pauses, the host begins to slowly count: “Clapperboard - one, cracker - two ...” The auction continues.

Prank game

Santa Claus announces to the audience that none of those present will be able to repeat after him the three short phrases that he will say. Of course, no one will agree with him. Then Santa Claus, as if looking for words, utters a short phrase. For example: "Today is a wonderful evening." Everyone confidently repeats this phrase. Santa Claus, embarrassed, looks for and uncertainly says the second phrase. It is also easily repeated by everyone. Then he quickly and joyfully says: “So you made a mistake!” The crowd is protesting. And Santa Claus explains that his third phrase, which had to be repeated, was: “So you made a mistake!”

Two are better than one

Any three toys are placed on the floor: a ball, a cube, a skittle. Two players come out and start dancing around them (the game can be played to music). As soon as the music stops or Santa Claus gives the command "Stop!", each player should try to grab two toys. Whoever gets one loses. The game can be complicated: increase the number of participants and, accordingly, the number of toys or objects. Whoever grabs the most toys wins.

Under a lucky star

The winner of this game will be the one who first finds a star hanging from the ceiling with a number announced by the host. Stars with a large number written on both sides are pre-hung on threads from the ceiling of the room (or hall) where the dances will take place. As the dance progresses, the music stops for a minute, and Santa Claus proclaims: “Lucky Star - 15!” The dancers try to quickly find a star with this number. The winner is awarded a prize.

Watch your back

Santa Claus or the Snow Maiden gives various commands to those standing in a circle, and they must be carried out only if the word “please” is added to the command, for example, “Please put your hands up”, “Lower your right hand!”, “Please clap your hands” and etc. The game is fun, at a fast pace. Those who make a mistake are out of the game. The remaining one is awarded the title of “Most Attentive Guest” and a prize is awarded.

New Year games

1. Tiger tail

All players line up, holding the belt or shoulders of the person in front of them. The first in this line is the head of the "tiger", the last is the "tail". At a signal, the "tail" begins to catch up with the "head", which tries to escape. The task of the rest of the “body” of the tiger is not to disengage. After several attempts of the "tail" to catch up with the "head", the children change places and roles.

2. Smeshinka

Each player gets a name: snowflake, cracker, Christmas tree, tiger, candle, flashlight, etc. All names must be associated with the New Year. Interesting and funny contests and games for the New Year's holiday in kindergarten.

Simple and exciting new year games for preschoolers.

Become!

Santa Claus lines up some of the children on some basis: by height, by hair length, by strength, etc. And the task of the rest of the children is to guess which criterion he chose.

Fourth is redundant.

Santa Claus puts a doll, a bear, a plate, a cube in front of the children. Then he asks: “What is superfluous and why?” That's right, a plate is a dish, and all other items are toys.

Chamomile

Santa Claus takes out a camomile made of paper. There should be as many petals as there are children. Funny tasks are written on the back of each petal. Children tear off the petals and begin to fulfill them: they walk in single file, crow, jump on one leg, sing a song, repeat a tongue twister ... And Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden give them gifts.

Head, shoulders, knees

Santa Claus asks: “Guys, do you remember where your head is?” - "Yes!" “Then put your hands on your head. So wonderful! Now onto the shoulders. Excellent. (Santa Claus performs all the commands with the children.) And - knees. Well done! And now be careful: I will say one thing, but show (completely different. Try not to get lost! ”

Santa Claus takes his head with his hands and says at the same time: “Knees!” etc.

Cats and mice

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden arrange chairs in a circle, with the seats facing inward. Half of the children sit on chairs - they will be "mice". Let the rest stand behind - these are “cats”. One "cat" should not have enough "mouse", that is, she will have to stand behind an empty chair. She winks at some strange "mouse". The task of this "mouse" is to run across and sit on empty chair. And the task of the “cat” standing behind is to prevent her from doing this. If you didn’t keep it, let him now wink at another “mouse”. Of course, the kids will certainly want to be both a “cat” and a “mouse”. And therefore, after some time, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden will change their roles.

Princess on the Pea

Santa Claus says: “Sometimes people don’t even assume that they are actually princes or princesses. And it also happens that they guess about it, but do not know how to make sure. And today you have a rare opportunity to find out who is who. First, let's check if there are princesses among us. Who is first?" One of the girls is called. Santa Claus says: “In the fairy tale“ The Princess and the Pea ”, the future princess felt a pea through 9 mattresses. Now the task is much easier: without the help of hands, determine how many lollipops you are sitting on.” Santa Claus puts a bag of 3-7 sweets on a chair , the girl sits down ... It is not always possible to determine the number. To not be offended, the host says: "No, you are not a princess, but a countess."

If a boy raises his hand, Santa Claus says: “In order to choose a prince, we will hold another competition in which you can show your strength in fair combat.”

Reach for the prize

And this competition can be held by the Snow Maiden. The winner of the previous competition ("princess") sits on a chair, turns to face the audience. The Snow Maiden says: “Well, we already have a princess! So - we just need to choose a prince for her. Who wants to show off their strength and dexterity?” Two boys, approximately equal in strength and weight, take each other by the wrist with their right hand, while the left hand is free. Prizes are placed at an equal distance from them. Everyone needs to reach out to their own, and therefore drag the opponent. The winner receives the won award from the hands of the "princess". The loser receives a consolation prize.

The Snow Maiden declares the "prince" and "princess" the hosts of the ball. They invite everyone to the table where a festive dessert is prepared.

It's me, it's me, it's all my friends!

Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden take turns asking the children questions, and they answer with the same phrase. You can think of a lot of questions. The main thing is to have fun.

The host draws out the first syllables of words to confuse the participants in the game (“mo-lo-o-dets”). The game from a slow pace takes on an accelerated character. New Year is the main and most anticipated winter holiday, especially for children. What child will not be delighted with a cheerful round dance around a festively decorated Christmas tree sparkling with multi-colored lights, the presence of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden? And funny contests, games for children will make the New Year even more interesting. Even a simple collective game if a friendly children's team with a positive attitude participates in it. The kids especially like children's games and contests for the New Year, in which incentive prizes are provided for the victory in addition to the usual New Year's gifts.

Competitions for the little ones

Christmas story

The competition for the New Year in kindergarten is often based on fairy tales. Here the kids have to come up with their own fairy tale. First, they need to be divided into 2 teams. Each of the teams in turn asks leading questions: “Once upon a time, who were there?”, “Where did they live?”, “Where did they go?”, “And who did they meet?” etc. The children first consult within their team, and then give collective answers. So you can accompany the whole scenario of a fairy tale. Surely both tales will turn out to be very original, so it is hardly worth choosing a winner here.

Where is the tree?

When choosing contests for the children of employees for the New Year, you can try this one. All children are divided into 2 teams, and each chooses a captain. After that, both teams line up in two parallel lines. The leader of each team gives three flags to the captain of each team: fairy-tale characters or animals are drawn on two of them, and a Christmas tree on the third. This is followed by the leader's command, and the team captains pass one flag back down the chain, with the flag with the Christmas tree being passed last. As soon as the last player in the chain receives this flag, he must raise his hand with it up and shout "Yolka!". The team whose flag rises first wins.

magic scooter

Mobile children's New Year's games and competitions always especially attract children. For this game, you will need small artificial Christmas trees and a couple of scooters. Children need to be divided into 2 teams and line them up opposite their row of arranged Christmas trees. Then the leader gives a start and the first pair of scooters competing must go around each of the Christmas trees in their row, then return to the team and pass the scooter to the next participant. The team that gets to the finish line first and knocks down fewer Christmas trees will win.

cat and mice

For this competition, you will need a long elastic band (3-4 m), the ends of which must be tied. Among the children, a “cat” is selected, which sits in the middle of the circle formed by the “mice” and “sleeps”. The elastic band should be slightly stretched, covering the legs of the mice from the outside at the level of the ankles. Then the music turns on, and the mice carelessly dance first clockwise, then against. But suddenly the music stops, the cat wakes up, and then the mice need to jump out of the rubber band as quickly as possible, and the gaping mouse becomes a cat. Then the mice return to the circle, but this time the elastic is raised to the level of the knees, and the whole action is repeated. Further, the elastic band rises to the level of the belt, back, neck and, finally, the arms raised up. Such New Year's contests for the children of employees can rally all the kids, even if they have not met before.

ringlet

First, the driver is selected - the one who has to look for the ring, and he temporarily leaves the room. The rest of the players line up in a circle: one of them hides the ring, and then everyone folds their hands behind their backs. Then the driver is launched into the center of the circle formed by the players. Then he tries to understand by the eyes who has the ring. Children are too simple-hearted and, as a rule, quickly betray themselves by facial expressions or glances. Such competitions for children for the New Year at home can be held without fear that something will break or someone will get dirty.

Who is first?

For this New Year's fun, you will need a couple of chairs and sets of winter clothes. The sleeves of winter jackets must be turned inside out, and in this form, hang on each chair, and put a scarf, hat and gloves on the seat. The game is divided into several rounds according to the number of pairs of children available. Each pair stands at the ready not far from their chair, and as soon as the leader gives the command, both players rush to the chairs. They must quickly turn the jacket back to its normal position, put it on, as well as other details of clothing. The first one to put everything on has to sit on a chair and loudly shout “Happy New Year!”.

Christmas bags

If you are coming up with new competitions for children of 10 years old, do not forget about the competitive component, when the child strives to do something better or faster than others. This competition is an ideal version of such a game.

All its participants need to be divided into pairs, which will compete. The facilitator gives each participant a beautifully decorated bag and brings them to the table, on which there are two boxes filled with various items, including unbreakable Christmas tree figurines and toys. After that, both players are blindfolded and, on command, they must begin to blindly collect items from the boxes into their bags, and only those related to the New Year will be taken into account in the calculation. Only one item is allowed to be picked up at a time. While the bags are being filled, the music plays, and after about a minute it stops, the players are uncovered and offered to compare the contents of their bags. The winner is the one who collects more items related to the New Year holiday.

New Year's suit

New Year's competitions for children 10-11 years old can be a little more difficult. For this competition, you will need a fairly large sheet of paper, scissors, pins, glue and tape. Participants are given a certain time (for example, 10-15 minutes), during which they must model and make a New Year's costume, and even arrange a show for the public, tell what it is for (for example, it is a fancy dress or evening dress). The audience votes for their favorite outfit with louder applause. The fashion designer who caused the most noisy applause wins.

Christmas tree with a surprise

Competitions like this for a New Year's party for children require more thorough and lengthy preparation. Here you will need to make a Christmas tree layout out of cardboard, and cut holes in it to indicate Christmas balls. On the back side of the "Christmas tree" under each such hole, you can attach a bag. During the matinee, the presenter gives each contestant 5 small balls and explains that they need to get into the holes in the "Christmas tree". The winner will be the one who does it more often than others and will receive a prize, which can be hidden among the branches of a real Christmas tree.

Ball with a surprise

New Year's contests for children 7-12 years old offer such interesting option: Comic New Year's tasks are written on scraps of paper, after which they are put into air balloons and inflate them. Each participant of the competition receives such a ball with a task, which he must burst without touching his hands. Having come up with a way to do this, the player must complete the task found in the ball (sing, dance, and something like that). Whoever manages to make the funniest performance wins.

Competitions for children of any age

collect snowball

3-4 teams can participate in this fun at the same time. First you need to prepare a lot of small white balloons, which will play the role of snowballs, as well as large garbage bags. At one end, the bags must be cut so that legs can be inserted into these holes and a kind of harem pants would be obtained. Then, from each competing team, a participant is selected who must put on these "harem pants", and the rest of the team, at the sign of the leader, must begin to collect snowballs in them. Whoever collects the most impromptu snowballs will win.

We decorate the Christmas tree

Many children's competitions for the New Year are dedicated to decorating the Christmas tree. For this competition, you need to prepare two small artificial Christmas trees, as well as a couple of boxes that contain unbreakable Christmas tree decorations. There should be a distance of about 2-4 meters between the trees and the boxes. Then the contestants are divided into two teams, and each takes its starting position near its box of decorations. The host gives a command, and the competitors take turns decorating their Christmas tree. Each player can take only one toy at a time. The winner is the team whose box is empty first.

Snowballs

To hold this competition, you will need plastic buckets and snowballs made of cotton wool, fabric or synthetic winterizer, for beauty and compactness, tied with a silvery rain. Participants of the competition must be divided into two equal teams and give each of them 2-3 snowballs. Place buckets 3-4 meters from the teams. The task of the players is to throw their projectiles exactly into their bucket. When everyone shoots back, you need to check which of the buckets had more snowballs - that team won.

New Year's tinsel

This game will require bright tinsel and a perky New Year's melody. From the children present, two equal teams are recruited, which line up, and the host of the game gives each of their participants one string of tinsel. On command, the first player must tie the tinsel on the neighbor's hand, and he does the same along the chain. The last member of the team must run up to the first and also tie his tinsel on his hand. After that, the team captain must raise his hand, decorated with tinsel up - whoever does it first, that team won. When preparing this competition, adults need to take into account that some types of tinsel can get hurt, so you need to choose it very carefully.

It's me!

Merry Christmas contests for children elementary school you can replenish the following entertainment: an adult should quickly ask questions, and children should answer them “It's me!”. Naturally, among the usual questions with tricks will come across, and the children, by inertia, will answer them “It's me!”. Something will be fun after some confessions. Here are some questions.

Who cleaned the kitchen?
And who did not help mom?

Who planted flowers?
Who got two?
Who helped grandma?

Who was careful?
Did you say thank you?
Did you forget your briefcase at home?

What kind of animal?

Looking for funny New Year's contests for children, you can pay attention to this one. For him, you will need a variety of masks depicting animals. The player must close their eyes, after which they put on a mask of a certain animal. The task of the player himself is to guess who he has now turned into, based on the prompts of others. He may ask questions about the size of the teeth, the color of the coat, etc., as well as whether it is a domestic or wild animal. But you can only answer "yes" and "no". Of course, there should be no mirrors in the room, otherwise the secret will quickly be revealed.

tightrope walkers

Children can participate in this competition different ages. They need to be divided into 2 equal teams and lined up in two parallel rows, and before the first number of each team, lay a rope on the floor. This competition consists of three stages, the complexity of which is increasing.

  1. The first players must simultaneously begin to walk along the rope in small steps, trying not to stumble and not step on the floor. Having reached the end of the rope, you need to turn around and return to your team, where you can pass the baton to the next “rope walker”.
  2. The next task is to grapple into a train, taking the front member of the team by the waist, and on the same conditions, only all together, go along the rope in one and the other direction.
  3. One by one, walk along the rope, but only with your back forward.

Teams can also be formed from members of the same family, it will turn out even more fun.

Height meter

Such New Year's competitions for children 7-8 years old will be very funny. In this case, it is necessary to measure the growth of all participants in any oblong objects. Everyone will be interested to know what their height is in pillows, cucumbers or pencils. You can invent as many such length standards as you like. Children, having amused themselves, will surely begin to suggest what else they can be measured in, which should be done. At the end of the "research" you need to draw up a "scientific" document. As a basis, you can take a New Year's card, on which you write in advance: "My height" and then list the units of measurement, and during the competition enter the data received there.

New Year's chain

Often, the size of the apartments does not allow for noisy games and running around, then adults are forced to look for quieter contests on the New Year theme for children. For example, this one:

Divide the children present at the holiday into 2 teams and give them sheets of paper, scissors and an adhesive pencil. In a short time (5-7 minutes), the teams must cut the paper into strips, which they glue with rings into a long New Year's chain. Whoever has it longer is the winner.

Do you know any other funny New Year contests for kids? Share them in the comments or write which of the presented games you liked the most.

Children become in a circle and take turns calling songs that mention winter, New Year and New Year's characters (Father Frost, Snow Maiden, snowflakes, and so on). Whoever cannot name a song is out of the game and receives a consolation prize. And the winner will get the main gift. Kindergarten children know a lot of songs from cartoons, for example, "If there was no winter", "It's cold for a little Christmas tree in winter", "My best gift is you", "Umka's Song", "Three white horses" and so on, so the competition it will be fun and lively.

New Year's drawing

Each child is given a piece of paper and pencils, and everyone begins to draw their own drawing “How I see the New Year”. Then, in turn, the guys show their drawings with a fictitious name. And in order not to offend any of the guys, you need to prepare in advance prizes or medals with different nominations, for example, “bright artist”, “impressionist”, “creative artist”, “magic artist” and so on. Children will be pleased to surprise everyone with their New Year's drawings and receive their prizes.

What is missing New Year's heroes?

For this competition, you need to prepare pictures (drawn or made of felt) of New Year's heroes with missing details (two copies), for example, a snowman without a carrot-nose, a Snow Maiden without a braid, Santa Claus without a bag of gifts, a Christmas tree without a star, and so on. Children are divided into 2 teams and for each team on the table or on the wall they attach in any convenient way (an easel, using push pins, and so on) pictures or applications with heroes. On the “start” command, the children should consult and decide together what the New Year’s heroes are missing and finish (or stick, depending on the initial blanks) the missing details for each character. The team that quickly thinks and fills in the missing parts will be the winner.

The best New Year's actors

Before the start of the game, the host makes some indications - shows the actions that children should do when they hear this or that word, for example: flashlights - turn their handles, snowflakes - children are spinning, garlands - children blink quickly, wind - children blow and so on. Then the facilitator begins to command and monitor how the children remember and perform actions. That is, when the presenter says: now the lanterns are lit - the children must twist the handles. And now the garlands are turning on - the children are blinking rapidly. And now the snowflakes are falling - the children are spinning. The facilitator repeats repeatedly, and the children perform actions. At the end of the game, the most attentive and dexterous children who correctly performed all the actions, having heard the “code” words of the host, will receive prizes, for example, magic wands (and even if they are toys, thanks to their imagination, you can command and force everyone to perform the actions that you need ).

Gifts for everyone

Animals (soft toys) are sitting near the Christmas tree, for example, a bunny, a cat, a dog, a monkey (2 of each animal), and “gifts-treats” for animals are scattered throughout the room, respectively - carrots, fish, bones and bananas (from colored paper, felt or plastic models). Children are divided into 2 teams. For one team, the animals sit on one side of the tree, and for the other, on the other. On the command “started”, the children begin to look for gifts for their animals: if they find a treat, they put the animal to continue looking. When the facilitator stops the game, a count is kept of which team was able to collect the most “treat gifts” for their animals. This team will be the winner.

Best gift

For each child, the teacher prepares cardboard boxes (gifts) and the same sets (glue, rain, paper, children's scissors, felt-tip pens, ribbons, and so on). Each of the children should make a bright and beautiful gift from the box. And so that no one remains in the shadows, everyone receives prizes, only in different categories: the brightest gift, the most interesting gift, the most unusual gift, and so on.

Identical snowflakes

For this competition, it is necessary to prepare (cut out) snowflakes of several types, approximately 5 pieces of 4 types for each team. The guys are divided into teams of several people and each team gets the same set of snowflakes mixed up. On the “start” command, the children get acquainted with the snowflakes and distribute them, putting the same snowflakes in separate piles. The team of kids that completes the task faster than the rest will be the winning team.

Who was left without a gift?

For this competition, you need to prepare pictures of animals, for example, a bunny, a bear, a monkey, a dog, a cat, a chicken, and so on (in several copies, depending on the number of teams) and pictures with treats for these animals (carrot, a barrel of honey, banana, bone, fish, seed, etc.). For each team (equally) on a separate table or on the floor, pictures of animals and pictures of treats are laid out in a scatter, excluding one picture with a treat for an animal, for example, a picture with a banana. On the “start” command, the children begin to “investigate” and try to identify faster than their rivals who was left without a gift. But this is not enough. As soon as the children guess who was left without a gift, they should draw a treat on a piece of paper for the animal that got nothing. The team that completes the task faster and better than the rest will win.

Friends of Santa Claus

The host invites the children to remember who can be a friend of Santa Claus and take turns calling a chain of words, for example, a hippopotamus, a deer, a crocodile, a giraffe. And the children must name the correct answer, that is, a friend of Santa Claus is a deer. The most active child will receive a prize. Examples, scarecrow, snowman, baba yaga; Christmas tree, oak, birch; sleeping beauty, snow maiden, cinderella and so on.
