  • Basic thirst and energy system!

Notes: This mod is NOT Forge compatible. Do NOT install Forge alongside this mod, it will not work.

Screenshots and recipes:

It’s (somewhat) easy to get started using this mod, break some leaves, collect some rocks, but here’s an actual tutorial.

First, you're going to want to collect some branches. You get these by breaking off the leaves from trees. Once you have a few branches, craft them into sticks by sticking (haha, puns) them into your crafting menu. Next, you should pick up some rocks and start throwing them at the ground in order to get flint. Once you have three, use your crafting menu to make three of them into an ax head:

Once you've made your ax head, start breaking some tall grass to get cord. Collect 10 of it for now.
Once you have ten, take one of them, a stick, and your ax head and craft it (shapelessly) into your first ax. Take the other nine and turn them into string:

Once you've done that, make the string you get into a bow. You'll need it for hunting later. Next, gather up one more flint to make a flint knife:

Then collect some more rocks in order to get some stone and coal. You'll want iron too, but right now you need to focus on getting hunger under control when it starts arriving. Gather enough stone for a furnace using your rocks, and then head back to the surface.

Since you don't have any arrows yet, you may want to consider using rocks as a ranged weapon for now. They deal enough damage to kill a chicken in one shot, which is what you need right now to make arrows. Go and hunt some animals for food!

Once you get some iron, make a shovel so that you can collect some sand. You need to make a glass bottle so that you don't dehydrate.

Unfortunately, this is where the content ends right now. Believe me though, there will be much, much more to come.

Mod Showcases:

Die Hard is a mod for Minecraft, which was created specifically for players who feel like they're skilled at Minecraft and aren't afraid of really challenging challenges. Survival mode is one of the most popular minecraft and that's mainly because it's perfect for hardcore players who want to go against all odds and try to survive for as long as they can. However, even despite the difficulties, there are many players who think that the survival mode can be a little more difficult and tough, as the mod was made just for this particular audience.

Mod Die Hard for Minecraft increase difficulty in survival mode as much as possible, making sure things stay realistic and don't go too far. The mod makes a lot of smart changes, which increase the difficulty quite a bit, but like adding a craving mechanic to a game that functions pretty much the same way craving works in real life. Apart from this, the mod also has body temperature What you need to keep in mind is that if your character's body temperature is, you're probably going to have a tough time.

Survival Mod Die Hard also reduces starting health by a significant amount so you have to be very careful when playing survival mode with this mod as even taking even the smallest amount of damage can set you back tremendously. On top of all the other features, it's tough as nails and brings a complete seasons system to the game that will keep changing the colors of the grass and foliage according to the season. Biome temperatures also constantly adjust according to the season and this can in turn affect your character's body temperature as well.
