Each character in the game can get a unique item. It is needed in order to open an additional picture in the gallery, and also adds 1 skill point (Proficiency scale) to the character.
The level of difficulty when obtaining an item does not matter.
Remember - ONLY the character whose item you are going to receive must fulfill the condition.
Tip: in order not to waste time, pause the game during long dialogues.

First, the game will new mode- Unlimited! If anyone remembers Survival Mode from the original Samurai Warriors 2, then everything will be immediately clear to him. In addition, in this mode, you can get very rare weapons - five-star weapons with a very strong attack, interesting things, experience, levels, and more.
If you watch the latest trailer for the game, you will notice that above the score of enemies you killed (K.O.) points for damage to enemies (Damage) are displayed, as well as the fact that you can change the formation of your team: you can change their order at any time.

Secondly, there will be two new chapters: one tells about what happened before the plot known to us - The Tale of the Former Day, the other - what will happen after - The Tale of the Latter Day. They can be played not only on the side of the allies, but also on the side of the opponents. Thirdly, there will be a special ability Midair Tie Up Action, which will change your special attacks to others assigned to the R1 button. Fourth, the Musou Battlefield mode will change. Fifth, each character will have four slots for things, instead of two, and the horse will have its own separate slot. Character "growth" is now dependent on weapon upgrades and stats, meaning that even the maximum stats of a character's data can still be changed to a certain extent. And the maximum level will no longer be 99, but 100. There will also be a color editor for players to customize appearance their characters like in Samurai Warriors 3. A little about DLC for Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate, which will appear after the game itself. The best thing is that they will be on both PS3 and PSVita, and now actually what will be there: character costumes, battles, weapons and music (BGM). It has already been confirmed that there will be battles from Dynasty Warriors 7, Samurai Warriors 3 and Warriors Orochi 2, and they will have their own original music (BGM), but like all other battles.

In Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate, it will be possible to import your save from Warriors Orochi 3 and purchased DLCs for it, although it is not mentioned which version is in question, Western or Japanese, so we can assume that this charm will be available only to the Japs! XD

So we quietly and smoothly approached the new characters, and there will be as many as 9 of them!
First, let's remember who was shown to us at the announcement of the game itself. These were Tamamo no Mae(according to mythology, the most beautiful and intelligent woman in Japan) and Xu Shu from Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires.

Then they showed Yingluna(Rain Dragon from ancient Chinese mythology) and Kasumi from Dead or Alive.

Next, they announced a character from the Atelier series - Sterkenburg Cranach and almost immediately showed Sophitia Alexandru from Soul Calibur and Living Nezha(Earlier there was a cyborg in the game).

After that, there was a lull equal to almost a month: there was not a single news about the game, not a single screenshot, only there were rumors that the Nine-Tailed Fox from Naruto would be added to the game. Yes, yes, everyone thought that they would add that same Kyuubi. Then there were rumors that it would be Yoko, the Spirit of the Nine-Tailed Fox, who would appear in the Unlimited mode.
And Koei decided not to torment their fans and recently announced another character - Kyuubi-no-Kitsune - Nine-Tailed Fox. Her weapons are Heavenly Robes, including her tails. What part she will take in the plot is still unknown, but her rendering shows that she would fit in Orochi's Mom.

And recently they announced, most likely, the last character - Hundun- one of the four Fiends of Chinese mythology, the Demon, which is considered the source of all chaos.

There are five special unlockable characters in total. They cannot be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions in one level, but can be unlocked by fulfilling a whole set of conditions at different levels or in the game as a whole.

Tadakatsu Honda: In each level 7-X of each Musou mode, reach a certain state to attract the attention of Tadakatsu. These states are:

In Shu Chapter 7-X - Battle of Xi Liang, kill Lu Bu within 2 minutes and let the three Peasants run.

In Wei Chapter 7-X - Struggle for Nan Zhong, save Tadamasa Honda and Tadatomo Honda before Tadakatsu Honda arrives and then kill Lu within 2 minutes.

In Wu Chapter 7-X - Battle of Ji Province, defeat Tadakatsu Honda in the central area of the map, then defeat Tadakatsu Honda within 2 minutes when it reappears in the northeast area of the map.

In Samurai Chapter 7-X - Battle of Kanegasaki, while all your allies are still alive, escort the Messenger to the northeast fort, defeat Lu Bu, and wait for the allied reinforcements to arrive.

Lu Bu: Defeat Lu Bu in every level 8-X of every Musou mode to attract him
