How to make a combination lock in minecraft. Combination lock in minecraft. Door with code lock. How to make a combination lock in Minecraft

is a technical device that allows you to open door with code lock. The device is very difficult to understand, for a beginner, and even more so for crafting; I will try to explain with my example how to make a combination lock in minecraft.

Even if it doesn't clear the whole picture for you, by trial and error you will learn how to make combination locks in Minecraft. I will show how to make a combination lock in minecraft on the example of a 9-digit lock, and knowing the technique and manufacturing technology, you can already apply this knowledge to anything. If you don't already have latest version games, you can download Minecraft for free from the link.

So, the essence of the whole process is shown on the screen:

But a small snag is that all this can be understood, without chewing, only by the lord of the crystal owl or the winner of the program "The smartest." If you are one of them, you can stop reading the guide. For everyone else, let's start the explanation.

On the screenshots you can see the inside of the castle. We have 9 buttons depicted on our wall, a sign hangs on top indicating which number belongs to which button.

castle room

Button plate

Left and right put on the door. Each door opens with its own specific code. The doors will not open in any other way as they are connected to a redstone chain.

The above door

Now the technical part. If you are doing it for the first time, it is better to repeat everything exactly like mine. The main thing is for the first time, so that everything works.

So, we make the same wall for ourselves, place 9 buttons on it as in the screenshots above. FROM reverse side walls (opposite the same blocks where we have buttons) we put 9 red torches.

Torches in front of buttons

From each torch we draw a line from the redstone, then we close all 9 lines into one.

The plates on top are the numbering of repeaters from the circuits coming from the torches. It is advisable to number them so as not to get confused, and you will also set a delay for the buttons on them.

After that, we set the code for the lock and the delay for pressing so that you have time to dial the code. So I put the code 951 on the first door, and 472 on the second.

We set the delay through repeaters: on the first pressed buttons (9 and 4) we put 3 each, on the second ones in pressing (5 and 7) we put 2 each, on the last ones (1 and 2) we put 1 each.

Next, set up an inventory. It works so that the signal comes only when the correct code is entered. After, we take the circuit from the repeater to the memory cell. From cell 2 chains: the first to the door, the second to the button on the floor. Here is the screenshot:

Arrange the repeaters the same or about the same

Next, we calculate how to lay down the lines so that the signal goes to the door and does not reach the memory clearing block. And from the button we conduct a signal to the cleaner block. The bottom line is that when the correct code is entered, the door opens, and in order to close it, you need to clear the memory, that is, press the button.

Well, the final touch. A redstone cord runs from the button to a redstone torch that serves as a door opener and closer.

The same torch

The same button, only a top view with a built-up floor.

That's all. After branching the signals, we build a chain to the second door in the same way. It doesn't matter if you did the same or differently. It's just one of infinity options, the main thing is to understand the essence of the issue. If you did something differently, write your versions in the comments.

The implementation of such an intention will be a very painstaking task and requires a certain amount of resources based on red stone. These will certainly be redstone dust, which plays the role of wires in any mechanical device, as well as red torches. In addition to them, repeaters (repeaters) can also be involved - depending on which particular lock model is chosen.

If a gamer prefers the least expensive way to protect his home, a door lock with a code without numbers will suit him. A certain combination of levers will open the entrance to the dwelling (or, for example, to the room with the most valuable things). Which one is up to the player to choose. However, it is better that at least five or six of them are involved in total - it will be more difficult for outsiders to pick up the code.

On the wall of the house next to the door, you need to set the desired number of levers, press those that will open the door, and place red torches on the reverse side opposite them. Opposite those mechanisms that will not be used in combination, you need to put any solid blocks. However, the secret is not to set them directly at the level of inactive levers, but one cube below. Across this system of blocks, a path of redstone dust should be drawn.

After a couple of blocks from this design, it is worth mounting a lamp, and next to it, on the back side of the wall, put it perpendicular to that pair of blocks, on the top of which (at the level of the lamp) stick a red torch. The light bulb will serve as an indicator of the set of the correct combination.

Now you should close the entire rear of the mechanism with another wall of very strong blocks (ideally - obsidian or even bedrock) - so that the other player does not have the opportunity to peep the entered code. After that, from the mechanism, you need to bring the redstone track to the door and also disguise it with something.

Complex door lock

However, it is important to understand: the chances of breaking into the entrance to the dwelling will depend on the degree of complexity of the locking device. Therefore, it is better not to save on resources and create a more intricate design.

To begin with, nine buttons must be installed on a sheer wall at intervals in one block. They will correspond to the same order as the numbers on the combination lock in real life(top row - 7-9, middle - 4-6, bottom - 1-3). By the way, you can hoist a sign there, providing it with an inscription explaining everything that has been said above.

On the back side of the wall, opposite each button, you need to place red torches, from each of which you will then need to conduct redstone electrical circuits and bring them to one line. In each of these wires, you will probably need to use at least one repeater. Its delay is set to as much as exactly how many such devices were involved in each particular circuit.

The next step is to choose a code that will open the door. It can be any three numbers. In accordance with the order in which they will be pressed, the delay of the repeaters going to them should be selected. For the first of the dialed digits, it should be set to three, for the second - to two, for the third - to one. This is necessary for the locking mechanism to work.

In the common circuit, it is imperative to install an inverter (NOT gate), so that the signal to the door comes only if the correct combination is entered. Next, the wire should go to any memory cell (even the simplest one will do - for example, from blocks in the form of the letter G with two buttons and red torches), and already from it it must be divided into two branches. The first will go to the door, the second - to the floor button, which allows you to open the locking mechanism after entering the code.

Now we need to bring the signal so that it goes straight to the entrance, but at the same time does not reach a special solid block that plays the role of a cleaner. But the latter must be connected directly to the opening button - so that after the player enters the room, the combination he has typed does not keep the door open, and it can be locked again.

The opening mechanism is very simple. Here, there is simply a wire from the redstone to the red torch, which plays the role of a castle. For the above circuit to work, of course, repeaters should be inserted periodically on it. If the gamer does everything right, he will get a very reliable coded locking device.

There are a lot of gadgets in Minecraft that make crafting life easier, make the game more interesting, but also pretty much strain our brains in the process of creating them. You need to delve into the technical nuances, keep them in your head, and finally make a certain mechanism. If you are tired of this, you can take a break! Clock ben ten 10 game - great to help you get distracted!

One of these devices that twists our convolutions in a spiral is a combination lock on the door. So that you do not run away in a panic, we will immediately say that we have found a fairly simple solution to this mechanism, and we promise: no spirals, bagels and other intellectual perversions.

But look at what you can sometimes come across when looking for a sane answer to the popular question of how to make a combination lock in the Minecraft game. We are offered to study logic gates, to understand all these circuits. You look at the pictures. That is, in order to encode the doors, they offer us to become Wassermans and Lobachevskys! Yes, intelligence training is all, of course, useful, but if your plans do not include losing many hours trying to protect a passage somewhere, you need to change your plans for mastering castles. Simplify! We will help.

We will show the process of creating a protective device on demonstration blocks and a door. You can build after us, or you can transfer all this to your buildings. Let's assume that you are in favor of the first option. You need to make a similar design.

Making a simple lock

  • Build a wall from several blocks. Leave a passage prepared for the iron door.

  • Stepping back one block from the door, install five levers. Together with torches, they make it possible to encode a lock in Minecraft with combinations of levers on and off. The indent here is not for beauty, its task is to prevent the door from opening after the first switch is turned on. And without retreat, it is inevitable.

  • On the back side of the wall, opposite the levers, place red torches. Notice the brick blocks. Here they are just for beauty. Or rather, in order for you to understand which switches to turn on. The bricks are located above the levers that make up the intended combination. Naturally, in real conditions in Minecraft, you don’t need to do this, otherwise it will lead the uninvited guest to an idea. But as long as you train as you wish. Of course, in the field you can make yourself a hint like this, just mask it.

If you have begun to build your world, then someday the time will surely come to create your own home in this exciting game. It is quite difficult to make a beautiful house, besides, very often unfriendly mobs can interfere with the player.

However, not only zombies and skeletons can disturb the peace of the gamer. So, if you play on a server, then often real users will be able to visit their native abode, who can easily rob the owner. To protect the house from intruders, you can use a combination lock. How to make this mechanism in Minecraft? What is the principle of its operation?

General information

A combination lock is a mechanism, not a separate item. It consists of a system of levers that must be pressed in a certain order to open the door. The mechanism itself is quite simple in design, but to create it, you will need a lot of various components and components.

How to make a combination lock in Minecraft?

First you need to free up space behind the wall. The next stage is the installation of the door, if, of course, it does not already exist. On the wall - at a distance of one block from the door - levers are installed, and their number can be almost any. You can also use the example:

In this case, the levers are installed on the second row. Behind the wall you need to build two rows with a height of two blocks. Then a block of red dust should be placed on these rows. As a result, you get this design:

After that, you will need to install red torches behind those levers that will need to be pressed to open the door. From the very last block with dust, you will also need to draw a path of red stone and put any opaque block at its end. A red torch is placed on the opposite side. That's all, now when you press the levers behind which there are torches, the door will open.
