Many faced some problems when launching the new patch, let's understand and try to solve these problems in this article. We've listed all the possible issues you may have encountered in the 0.60 patch!

Remember that 0.60 is only the first appearance of a new render, so you will encounter a wagon and a small cart of bugs. As stated earlier, by the time the new render appeared, the developers were aiming for a visual similarity with the old render. The developers hope that in the 0.60 experimental version you will help them fix performance issues, visual bugs, functional UI bugs, and central loot economy bugs.

Don't forget to update all your drivers and Windows before running 0.60 (See last mistake in the list) And do not forget that new patch only supports DX11, it will not work on older video cards with DX9.

Here is the list already known issues and their solutions:

"Memory cannot be READ", this is due to missing components on your OS, try updating DX11 to latest version or upgrade your Windows to latest update. If that doesn't help, try deleting all files from My Documents in the DayZ folder and verifying the steam cache. Don't forget to restart your computer!
“When you try to enter the server, it says connecting failed” - this problem due to high load on the servers, keep trying to access the server, or try again later
“I don’t see experimental servers” - in order to find them, try unchecking “password” in the browser filter and entering the word Experimental in the filter in the HOST field
"Black Screen appears when launching DayZ Standalone 0.60" - This problem is related to the screen resolution. Go to the properties of the game from the Steam library >> View Local files >> Run DayZSetting via notepad >> set the screen size to your screen resolution. And the problem should be solved!

If that didn't work for you and you're still having issues, follow these instructions:

80% of problems with launching 0.60 patch will be solved if you do the following:

Install Windows 10, it's the best fast way- solves most problems
Update Windows to the latest version
If you don't want to install Windows 10, please upgrade your Windows 7/8. But we recommend Windows 10
Update your Video Card Driver to the latest version

If nothing has worked so far, then:

Remove DayZ
Delete folder C:\Users\USER\Documents\DayZ
Make sure C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ is also deleted
Reinstall DayZ
Install the Experimental Patch
Remove all launch options in steam in the DayZ tab

Disable clouds in game settings

The following bugs are already known in patch 0.60:

FPS can drop to zero when the clouds are on.
Errors: “Cannot open object dz\plants\dead\d_fagussylvatica_fallen.p3d” and “unable to load WoodTwinOpen from CfgActionSounds”.
Client: Some animals get stuck in obstacles.
Character: A newly spawned character may be visually naked, with a pistol on the "thigh" on the character model located under his feet.
Environment: The character can see through walls using firearms.
Infected: Infected can hit from a distance when the character is down with the first couple of attacks, can lose textures, run through walls after getting stuck in stairs, in addition, hits are displayed with a delay.
Items: Items placed in hands during the animation disappear permanently. Silencers have no effect.
Menu: Server icons disappear in server browser (With password, old version)
New render: Infected paramedics visually disappear at a certain distance. Damaged, very damaged, and broken items have a "fresh" texture. Weapon attachments twitch. From visual bugs: shadows, textures (for example, disappearing), light.

Server: Items, ammo and magazines for weapons are not saved after server restart. After re-entering, the corpses freeze in their pose until the re-entry (standing for example). The player sees another player with a ladder climbing animation.
Throwing Items: Dropped weapons can get stuck in hands.
Interface: Unable to loot a dead/bound or unconscious player. There is an extra inscription "view contents".
Vehicles: Global bugs: Vehicles suddenly stop moving. Delays when driving in close proximity to another vehicle.
Vehicles: Characters cannot get out of a vehicle stuck between obstacles. Players behind the wheel see other drivers with a delay.

Weapon: Grenades: Grenades only work when thrown.
Weapon: Blinding Grenades: No blinding effect.
Weapons: Firearms: Reloading a weapon in the prone position will not be registered until the character picks it up.
Weapons: Pump/Slide weapons can fire twice on their own.
Bolts\Arrows: Not shown in weapons.
There is a risk that your client will crash the first time you try to join Daiz's servers in the current 0.60 experimental version. Try updating your Windows drivers, reverting back to 0.59 stable, logging in and out, then updating back to 0.60 experimental.

It was standing next to me, I picked it up a minute later, I decided to put it back, the barrel was not removed from my hands, but the character behaved as if there was no barrel, he climbed the stairs, etc., and the barrel continued to be tied to one hand. ...

Option to temporarily "work around" the problem, proposed by the player:

It is noticed, sometimes it helps: Sometimes changing the ip address helps some (for example, connecting to the Internet from a mobile phone, changing wifi, or connecting through VPN software). Why - is unknown, apparently these are the features of the network code of the game, which for some reason cannot contact the game server.

P.S. The problem was observed in DayZ 0.61 in the form described in this topic in the form of black and / or multi-colored screens without any ability to control the character with the periodic appearance of messages from the game chat in the center of the screen. In DayZ 0.62, this problem manifests itself in the form of your character getting on the game screen, which for some reason you cannot control. All other symptoms of this problem are similar to the problems from version 0.61.
