This demon is more difficult than other bosses. It can only be hit by a punch in the stomach. But for this you have to break through the protection of the wings. Attacks in the following ways: throw and sharp blow with a sword; a throw with a sword that explodes after a while, dealing damage in a decent radius.

Styles

The game has six styles for Dante and one for Virgil. The style depends on how you play the game. Four styles are available initially. The last two will have to be mined as you progress. Basic styles increase in level, after which new moves become available.

Trickster

This style allows Dante to jump and dodge with ease. That is, in this way it is easier to defend against attacks, but you yourself will not be able to deal damage, as with the Swordmaster style. Block. Press the circle when the opponent attacks - this way you will parry the blow and stun the demon. The same can be done in the air. If you hold the circle, you will receive 25% less damage. It is clear that the first is more profitable, but it is more difficult to implement.

Attack. After reflecting a bunch of enemy attacks, press the circle to perform a return combo. The damage is colossal. The same can be done in the air. Just make sure that the enemy is nearby, otherwise the attack will go into the void.

Shield. After repelling a lot of hits, press R1, back and circle. Dante will create a shield that reflects enemy attacks and converts them into additional health. It's just wonderful: Dante is killed, and he recovers before our eyes!

Quicksilver

This is a fairly simple opponent, but likes to use spatial portals. Instantaneous movements from one point to another are dangerous because you can miss a blow in the back.

His favorite attacks after moving are a lunge and a scythe or two at the same time. Therefore, when he disappears, immediately jump to the side and open fire with pistols. Then run up and cut with a sword.

Sometimes you can catch and interrupt the attack with a counterattack, but it's better not to risk it. When the boss blocks, immediately run around him from the side and punch a series of blows. If things are really bad, use the found first aid kit. While this can be avoided...

The Devil Tower

Immediately after the start of the level, run forward and jump towards the Enigma. These monsters have an amazing ability to crap at the most inopportune moment, so you have to deal with them first. A couple of punches should be enough to knock them down.

Then jump down and start walking around the rest of the monsters. Come into the bar. There are no opponents here, so you can take a break. Then break the furniture and jump on the bar counter in order to replenish your health.

Break the furniture, go up the stairs for a plus and go outside. There are no enemies here, but a lot of interesting things are hidden. First, collect the balls that are scattered on the upper tiers. You can get there with a double jump. Don't forget the blue ball!

Break the decrepit wall near the lanterns to get to the crystal with a couple of thousand red orbs. Also, look for a statue on the building nearby. If you can make a Blast combo, get a blue orb.

Cerberus is the first serious boss, and you need to approach him with extreme caution. The first thing to remember is that in order to damage him, you first have to knock down the ice shell. It is best to do this with pistols, it is too dangerous to meddle with a sword. The second is that the Cerberus has three heads, and each one attacks in its own way.

Only the middle head can attack, and it is better to learn the attacks of each one in order to dodge attacks in a timely manner. A head with yellow eyes throws off healthy blocks of ice from above. You will again find yourself in the center of the tower, only one floor higher. Climb up and go through the yellow door. The exits are sealed, so it remains to go up the stairs. She will not support the weight, and Dante will fall down.

A bunch of monsters are waiting below. Kill everyone, go upstairs and go through the opened door. You have to fight with the next boss. Despite its impressive appearance, the overgrown worm is killed quite easily - it will only take a long time to torment.

His only attack is electric balls that fly from his belly. They are easy to dodge: just run into cover or jump to the second tier. How to beat? Stay upstairs and wait. When the worm flies by, jump on its back and punch through a series of blows. Climb back up and wait. Repeat until the end. Then collect the red orbs and exit through the door on the lower tier. Pick up the amulet and watch another crazy video.

New level - new enemies. "Birds" are a fearless adversary. Just do not need to hit with a sword, otherwise they will create new ones. First fire with pistols, and when the opponents turn to stone, break them down with a sword.

On the fourth floor, the walls have moved away, and now you can pick up the trident. Plus, a red circle lit up below; if you stand on it, Dante will throw you high. Such a kind of elevator, which allows you to avoid long races.

Remember the stone behind bars? You need to go back to that room. Insert the trident into the mechanism opposite the cage, pick up the stone and finish off the monsters that have come running. Now remember the room where the stairs collapsed. Step into the abyss. The soul stone will not allow you to fall down. On the other side, look for a statue from which you can knock out a blue ball. In general, listen to what they yell before attacking, and you will soon understand what expression the blow will follow. There can be two tactics: either constantly fire with pistols, jump and dodge blows, or learn habits and screams in order to know when the enemy will attack, and punch a series of blows at the right moments. If you successfully hit the adversaries, you can knock the sword out of your hands. At this point, the opponent will kneel. Run up and use a crushing combo.

With pistols, this trick is also possible. Only, as it seemed to me, it would be more difficult to fulfill it. Although some argue that, on the contrary, it is easier. In general, I advise you to switch from one brother to another. Because when you finish off one, the second will go completely berserk.

Attacks, in principle, will remain the same, but the speed will increase. Jumping and attacking, running and hitting, a stream of fire, a whirlwind of fire and ice. Do not even try to reach the enemy with a sword. Constantly shoot him with pistols and jump like crazy.

If you were able to almost completely nullify the second brother's health before finishing off the first brother, then the battle will end with a couple of accurate shots. Otherwise, I do not guarantee that victory will be yours.

Family Ties

We actually need to go to the left aisle. But it is littered, so search the statue and go straight ahead. See the three rooms? You need to complete at least two trials in order to get two special crystals. But if you get three, you'll get a new weapon.

Now go to the room where the passage is littered and insert three crystals into the statue. Congratulations on your new weapon purchase. Yes, the road is clear too. In the corridor, break the statue with the brother swords, collect the red orbs and go downstairs to complete the mission.

Honestly, I don’t remember anywhere else such an original level. You will have to fight organs and monsters in the demon's stomach in order to get out. However...

To get out of this room (let it be called that), you need to destroy five pulsating processes, then the passages will open. One is near the bus, two are on the upper tier, one is downstairs in a cave, the last one is also on the second tier. But you can get to it only through the mentioned cave.

After destroying the shoots, go into the cave. After running through the intestines and getting to the heart, inspect the future boss and exit through the membrane (you know, it seems to me that the writers ate too much sushi).

After walking a little forward, you will suddenly fall under an evil monster. You should not fight him, just run as fast as possible, otherwise the insides will be devoured. When you get to the end, cut through the membrane to get into the shelter. Next, you will meet a detachment of demons that are taken out at the expense of times.

In the retina, chop demons until you get an item. It's simple. The next gut has two "sleeves" that hide the green orb and the statue. To break it, you need a flail. Then you will again fall under the distribution of the internal organ. Elegantly run away from him. Once in the stomach, again climb into the hole that leads to the heart.

So, in addition to the heart itself, a bunch of demons will keep you company. They also need to be hit on the head with a sword as far as possible. But the heart is more important, especially since it is not one. The two extras don't attack, but one absorbs prizes knocked out of opponents and the other weakens Devil Trigger.

The central heart is not easy to get, it is constantly hiding in the shell. You need to beat like this: first beat one of the additional hearts; when it dies, the main thing will stick out and try to get Dante. In the next room, take the "ambrosia" and get ready for the invasion of spiders with demons. After dealing with them, return to the underground lake and go to the passage under the waterfall. Then go to the other side, break the wall with a crack and drive the second block into another hole. A passage will open below and a bunch of demons will come running. Finish off the monsters and get out of here.

Break the statue (brother swords are required), knock down the second statue to get to the holy water, and get into the cart. On the trip, you need to fight off the demons who decided to ruin your life once again. You can’t fall down, so dealing with them is not a big problem. Don't forget to shoot "riddles" from pistols.

Having reached the final station, buy the necessary items from the statue and go through the door. You have a boss fight.

Let's start with boss attacks. Triple punch: several strong blows from the right and left. Kick: Beowulf will try to step on you to turn you into a cake. Random Strike: When you blind a demon (more on that later), it will strike at random. Energy Strike: A charge around you or a targeted shot. Crypt attack: the boss kicks, and which pillars fly from above, or puts a pillar in front of him and sends him with a fist in the direction of Dante. Acceleration Kick: The boss gets on all fours, accelerates and tries to slam the hero into the wall or just kicks.

The weak point of the demon is the eyes. Wait until he finishes attacking, jump up and slash at the eye. He will go blind for a while. Immediately run up close, deliver a series of blows and flee before he moves away.

When you take off most of his health, the demon will begin to attack more actively, try to stomp, shoot energy and throw coffins. Carefully study the habits and, catching a respite between attacks, cut the eye again.

Hunter and Hunted

Dante received another neo-generator, which turned him into a demon and constantly takes away health. Wow gift. We need to get rid of him quickly, before the end of health.

Run to the cart and roll to the other side. During the trip, opponents will annoy, they will bring not only experience, but also balls that replenish health. So try to deal with them as soon as possible.

Brother Dante is defeated - but not destroyed. He will let you know about himself in the future.

Then run along the old paths to the bridge. Along the way, you will have to fight demons, but this will only benefit you - at least restore the health that the neo-generator takes away. Once on the bridge, Dante will get rid of the crystal and take on his normal appearance.

Entering the corridor, stand on the glowing circle to be transported to the arena to fight the jester. There are not so many differences from the first battle, so read what you had to do in the Of Devils and Swords mission.

When you take him down to 75% health, the jester will show you a couple of new tricks. He will summon a ball with a face and jump on it and from there he will launch charges of energy. Sometimes the ball explodes when slashed with a sword. Avoid shots, as before - by jumping and somersaults to the side.

Then go through the door and go to the long bridge. There you will find a mad horse with a carriage. Here is such an unusual level boss. The battle will take place in two stages: the first on the bridge, the second in the arena. On the bridge, the horse attacks in the following ways: it jumps out of the gate and rushes forward, trying to trample Dante, or it stops and fires three missiles. The last attack is easy to dodge with a jump. From the first, escape with a double jump. At the same time, try to fire at the horse with pistols or chop with a sword.

After several attempts to trample Dante, the horse will stop to take a breath. Jump up to her and slash a few times with your sword - she should fall to the ground. Do not waste time and throw a combination of punches.

After you remove some health from the horse, the bridge will collapse and the battle will move to the arena. Here, enemy attacks will become more diverse. The horse will begin to prance in a circle, launching rockets, and will also try to hit the carriage.

Another horse will stop time in a certain radius around him. If you fall into this radius, you will get hit on the head with a carriage and you will not be able to do anything. She will also fire blue blasts of energy and launch orbs that stop time. From this you need to escape with a double jump. And of course, she will still try to trample you to death, jumping out of the gate.

How to attack her? While the horse is raging, dodge attacks while shooting with pistols or other firearms (although you won’t remove much life from it). Having caught a good moment, run up to the demon and strike with swords. Usually, after a good hit, the horse falls to the ground, thus allowing a great combination to be punched. But soon the monster will jump up, freeze time and, quite likely, give Dante a good blow. Here's how lucky.

When you finish the horse, you will get a new style that allows you to stop time.

Chaos"Warm Welcome

In the corridor you will meet new demons. After dealing with them, exit through the door and up the stairs. Go to the right of the door to pick up a plus, then go back and go to the other end. There, deal with opponents and go through the first door.

In this room, you need to direct a beam of light to get the crystal. First, break the wall with a crack, and destroy the second crystal in the corridor. Return to the room and destroy the crystals so that it turns out as it is shown in the picture. Pick up the crystal and exit the room.

Destroy the demons that popped up out of nowhere while you were tormented with the riddle, and go to the second door. You can break the statue if you brought Nevan to the mission. Insert the found crystal and enter the arena. Now you have a second battle with Virgil.

The brother has become much stronger since the last meeting, but the habits have remained the same. The same feints, sudden jumps, sudden movements, teleports and energy shots. Therefore, you can fight in the same way as in the A Chance Meeting mission.

There are only two differences. Now, instead of a sword, he usually uses Beowulf gloves, which is much more painful. He also turns into a demon, like Dante. In this state, it is better to stay away from him. Running along the walls and double jumps is not bad.

Virgil blocks most of your attacks and ignores firearms. Therefore, it is worth attacking only when he finishes his own attack. Problems will begin when you remove almost all of his health - he will turn into a demon much more often.

Drive!

After the battle, jump over the broken brick wall, go to the end and jump up. Collect 1500 red orbs. Now go to the abyss where Virgil fell and pick up the Beowulf Gloves. Use them to break the statue that blocks the exit, take the blue ball and move on.

Break the crystal to collect red orbs and enter the elevator. Go further until you reach the hall with the altar. Kill the demons, get out of here and get on the cart. While you are rolling, you will again have to deal with monsters.

Walk straight ahead and enter the green room. Deal with the monsters, return to the room you came from and go into the pink room. There you will meet new demons, which are very convenient to destroy from Beowulf.

Go to the dead end room, pick up the plus and step into the orange room. From there, go to the exit, remembering to grab the blue ball. Take the green ball on the statue and exit through the door. Destroy the monsters and move on.

Collect the balls in the bar, destroy the furniture and go outside. Take the red orbs and holy water from the last building on the left and run towards the tower. There, Dante will find a motorcycle and climb to the top, and in a very extravagant way.

The Gatecrasher

The beginning of the level is annoyingly difficult. The first time you will encounter an opponent who is more difficult to defeat than some bosses. For details - in the chapter "Monsters". In the next room, you will have to fight overgrown spiders.

From here you will enter the hall with a lift. To run it, you need three pattern fragments. They are scattered at different ends of the tower, and to get there, you have to start the turning mechanism.

Go to the only available door, collect the red orbs (including those from the demon's eyes) and light the fires on the stone. Go back and step into the room with the spiders. There a gate was raised and a stone was opened.

Hit him until the lights come on. The tower will turn. Exit through the door with the emblem on the door. The wheels spin and shred you into cabbage if you stumble. Run through them until you reach the next door. Along the way, remember where the stone that rotates the tower stands.

Jump over the blades, deal with the enemies, grab a piece of ornament and return to the gear room. Finish off the demons and light the fires on the stone to turn the tower. Now exit through the door with the emblem.

Destroy the demons in the room and exit through the top door. Light a fire on the rock and a ball of skulls will fall from above. It needs to be destroyed in about 15 seconds. This is quite problematic to do, because after the first hit, he will begin to spin around the room.

Better do this: run up, stop time, hit a few times and jump on the ball. Time will speed up again, and you break the ball with a few powerful blows. And no running around the room.

Take the symbol and get ready to face a new enemy. It is dangerous if hit by a laser beam, but nothing serious. Only now there will be a lot of them ... Then get out of here. Now you can go to the lower door to get the second symbol.

Deal with the monsters, go up the stairs and go through the door. The doors will close in the room, and a bunch of demons will jump in. Destroy them, take away pluses and leave on the stairs. Climb down and enter the opening.

Light a fire on two stones. Two balls will descend from above. You need to push them in such a way that they hit and fall apart. This puzzle is much easier than the previous one: first you hit one ball on one side, then another on the other side. They fly to the center, meet and scatter to pieces.

Pick up the symbol, finish off the demons and return to the room with the closed gate. Finish off the birds, climb up and jump out into the hole. Continue on until you reach the library. An unusual boss awaits there.

This is a simple opponent. Seize the moment - there will be no more such indulgences. The girl attacks exclusively from her monstrous grenade launcher. Before firing, she aims for a long time and says something. If you have time, run up close and prescribe a series of blows. If not, then jump to the side.

She also constantly climbs somewhere on a hook and fires from machine guns. This is easily avoided by constantly moving and wiggling from side to side. When you take most of her health off, she will jump onto stands and throw grenades.

How to fight? Very simple. You flee from attacks, and when she descends to the ground, you run up and break through a series of blows. You just need to be careful not to get hit by a rocket. True, it is difficult to catch her, because the girl constantly runs away. But once you get the hang of it, there won't be any problems. That's all.

Inner Demons

Pick up a plus in the corridor, break the wall to get into the room and start the battle. You were already in this chamber when you passed the test of the warrior. Let me remind you the rules: you need to light a fire on the stones and, while it burns, kill the demons. True, the opponents have become tougher, so if it doesn’t work out, you can skip the room. She is not required. If you complete the task, pick up the prize and go out into the corridor. Then go through the blue door.

Attacking in the air has a number of advantages. The character is hard to hit.

Break the statue and crystal to get a blue and red ball. Now you need to go upstairs. To do this, you have to jump on the cubes. The order is this: first jump onto the cube in the middle of the room; when another one comes down from above - jump on it.

Wait until another cube comes down, get over it. Then to the platform, from there to the door. Go inside, destroy the enemies, collect items - among which is a blue ball - and return. Jump back to the platform. From there to a cube that spins in a circle, from it to four cubes that move near the wall and constantly change shape.

Climb up and jump to the door. There is a choice here: go straight upstairs or go through the door first to fight the jester for the last time. He hasn't changed his habits, so you know what to do. The only difference is that he will summon a demonic ball when half of his life remains.

Destroy the demons in the room and move on. Remember the spiked corridor where you took the skill test? So, now it will be much worse. You need to move faster and more carefully. This will be followed by traveling through the halls, picking up items and fighting demons (among which there are new instances).

Soon you will reach the level boss. If you know his weak point, it is not much more difficult to deal with him than with a lady. Since he is a shadow, it means that he is afraid of the light. In the normal state, you can’t break through at all, so you need to open the “eyes” on the wall with blows. The light will fall on the shadow, and it will curl up. You can hit. This takes a few seconds. When all the "eyes" are open, you will have five seconds to perform a combination of punches. Shadow attacks are as follows: a shot of dark energy that extinguishes an open "eye"; the shadow lowers its hand and dark energy strikes Dante from the floor; two options for striking with swords and a sharp throw.

How to fight? You stand and wait for the shadow to rush to Dante. Open the "eye" with a blow, hit the shadow and run away to avoid a retaliatory attack. Then stand at the other "eye" and wait.

By opening all the "eyes", you will be able to hit longer and deal more damage. But soon the shadow will cover the light sources, and you will have to start from the beginning. In general, the main difficulty is to understand at what point you need to open your “eye” so as not to get hit and catch the enemy. But if you get the hang of it, you can deal with the demon in a few minutes. As a reward - a new style.

Invading Hell

After a little run through Hell, you will get to the chessboard. We'll have to play a hell of a game. The main tactic is this: finish off the king faster, then the rest of the pieces will die. Therefore, all attention is on the king. Do the rest of the demons only if they interfere too much.

Getting out with chessboard, finish off the demons and jump into the portal. See the green balls? Don't take them. They will be needed later. Better find a board with stones. The color of each crystal correspond to a specific boss.

They can be found if you go into the stone board with the figure. It is necessary to light the crystals in such an order that they form such a picture: three crystals are connected, a semicircle is formed, a full circle. That is, no one forces them to kill everyone, three are enough. For example, Cerberus, Agni and Rudra, Beowulf. But if you kill everyone, you will get a blue orb. True, the reward is not worth the effort.

I advise you to choose the Swordmaster style, because at the end of the level there will be a boss battle, which requires not cunning, but brute force. In the first room, destroy the opponents and jump into the portal.

Here you need to beat the enemy in an unusual way. Don't try to destroy the demons, it's better to break the green mirror that moves between the walls. Once done, a portal will open.

In this area, you need to destroy the opponents before the sand in the clock runs out, otherwise you will have to start from the beginning. It's not difficult, the demons are not particularly strong. Then run up to the clock, pick up the item and jump into the portal. Then again into the portal, another one - and, finally, insert the found object into the statue.

It remains to jump into the portal to start the boss fight. He's not too difficult. Consider this a respite before the last battle. Hellish battle.

The Shapeless Slime Pile attacks in the following ways: tentacle strike; top and side; blow and shot; hide underground and attack with a bunch of toothy fish; and finally, a ram with a carcass.

Run up and carry out terrible combinations of blows. You dodge incoming attacks by jumping. When the monster breaks up into fish, shoot them with pistols and chop them with a sword. After exterminating the small creatures, take on the monster again.

After removing half of the life, you will receive Virgil as a support, who repeats the movements of Dante. You attack, he attacks. You jump - he jumps. How to act now? Similar. Only it will be twice as easy.

Screaming Souls

The last battle with his brother and generally the last in the game. Don't think it will be easy! It will be hard. Buy healing products, purple orbs and, if possible, a couple of vials of holy water. If you don't have enough cash, it's better to go through several levels to accumulate red balls.

Virgil attacks: two hits, uppercut, attack from above, a sharp jerk and a blow; top attack; two blows with two swords; sharp jerk and overturning blow; energy shots; transformation into a demon.

The main problem is not attacks, but the speed with which he performs them, and the damage dealt. Many of his tricks have remained the same, only it will be harder to handle. However, this must be used. He, as before, is vulnerable to attacks. Therefore, you dodge blows, then attack, having previously turned into a demon in order to take off more.

Turning into a demon, he will begin to deal massive damage. But he will have to be attacked, because he gradually restores life and - most importantly - after a couple of blows from Dante, he immediately turns into a man. The Beowulf gloves and air attack usually work well.

Also, in the guise of a demon, he can summon a huge black ball and start firing. Or turn into pure energy and chase Dante. At such moments, you yourself need to turn into a demon and quickly run away.

But after such an attack, Virgil becomes vulnerable for a few seconds, which should be used. But the main tactic is this: counterattack after the attack and the transformation from demon to human. Also try to stun him with some kind of technique in order to carry out a full-fledged combination of blows. And do not forget to use holy water if it gets really bad - at least a little closer to victory.

The game is over, but it's too early to relax. During the credits, kill 100 enemies and you will see a cutscene of Vergil's adventures in Hell. What else can be fun? Complete the game a second time as Brother Dante, trying out new styles and different combinations. In the end, you can do secret missions, of course, if you so desire.

Secret missions are optional tasks, for the implementation of which they give a fragment of a blue ball. Finding them is not easy, and doubly difficult to fulfill. Let's talk about how to do it.

The Exorcist

Where is: Second mission, 13th Avenue (door near the blockage).

What to do: Destroy the demons in one minute.

In the allotted time, you need to finish off about a dozen lesser demons. The enemy is weak and dies quickly. Do not try to do something incredible, use the usual combinations. If you have time, then break the furniture to get red balls.

Where is: Fifth mission, Surge of Fortunas (before riding the lift, examine the red object near the wall).

What to do: Destroy demons without taking damage.

There are four Enigmas in total. But in order to defeat them, you need to move quickly. Very fast. Therefore, I advise you to choose the Trickster style.

Death from Above

Where is: The seventh mission, The Dark Corridor (Right after the start of the mission, jump into a small depression).

What to do: Stay in the air for 20 seconds.

A tricky task, but it can be solved. The key to success is to jump over the heads of opponents. Unrealistic? Very real. Jump up, do a double jump. Shoot all the way out of the pistols to slowly go down. Then land on your head and jump up again. True, it is almost impossible to do this on the keyboard.

Devil's Teeter-totter

Where is: The eighth mission, Leviathan's Stomach (break the boards in the cave near the pirate ship).

What to do: Take the lift to the top.

The problem is that the demons are constantly jumping down from above and trying to push. Also, the platform can collapse if too many enemies accumulate on it. What to do? Push monsters with a knockback attack. Or you can wait to get a grenade launcher and shoot at the enemy. Demons will instantly scatter in different directions.

Destroyer

Where is: The ninth mission, Limestone Cavern (you need to jump up).

What to do: Destroy all objects within the allotted time.

50 items in 40 seconds? No problem. Choose a fast weapon, remember what and where it is. Then break until it works. Should get it soon.

Flight of the Demon

Where is: Mission 10, Subterranean Lake (when you insert the stone mask and get the neo generator, go to the right of the statue).

What to do: Collect all the balls before the time runs out.

40 balls still need to be found. Therefore, first carefully look for hiding places. Then turn into a demon and quickly collect. Perhaps it will work in the normal state, but it did not work out for me.

No limits, just another fight. Only complex. It all depends on the skill and the chosen weapon. Better take what is more powerful.

Where is: The fourteenth mission, Vestibule (when you enter the room, turn around and jump upstairs).

What to do: Destroy opponents before they hide.

Take with you a sniper rifle, pistols and quickly shoot, changing weapons depending on the situation. Remember, you have to shoot fast. If not, come back here when you get a style that allows you to slow down time.

Guiding Light

Where is: The sixteenth mission, Waking Sun Chamber (when you destroy the ball, the wall will open - there you will find the entrance).

What to do: Solve the problem with crystals.

As far as I understand, the arrangement of the crystals changes every time. Therefore, before acting, carefully look and think for half an hour. Mentally pave the way, then try.

On Pins And Needles

Where is: Mission 18, Pitch-Black Corridor (jump up).

What to do: You need to go through the corridor with spikes to the blue ball.

Choose Trickster style (second level) and use movement bounce,movement key and circle. It allows you to pass through the spikes and not take damage. If you have not grown to the second level, you will have to suffer from jumps and dodges.

Final Ascension

Where is: Nineteenth mission, Road To Despair (run to the big leg and go down).

What to do: Get to the blue ball.

2. Fighting the twins in the tower often causes problems, in some playthroughs it is advised to shoot them with pistols and try to maneuver, but my method is different. Choose Cerberus. From the beginning of the mission, accumulate red orbs. When enough accumulate, learn the "revolver" level 2. It is desirable that before the bosses you have balls left for a big star of life. Actually fight. You only need to dodge their jump attacks, the rest is decided by the revolver. Aim at one brother and attack with a revolver incessantly, if a second one tries to hit you from behind, then he will also receive decent damage or drop his sword altogether. I advise you to reduce the health of both brothers so that one of them does not have time to acquire two swords. If everything is done quickly, then we can put them down at the same time. And most importantly - only the "revolver", while you make it, you are invulnerable!

3. Starting from chapter 18, you can use one very cool trick - creating a shadow. Your shadow will walk on your side and follow your movements and strikes. But this ability can be used more coolly if you have a friend and a second joystick next to you. When you create your shadow, connect the 2nd joystick and press start. After that, your friend plays as a shadow. This ability is temporary, but helps when fighting Arkham.

4. Advice for beginners.

When you reach the "centipede" (at the very beginning), I do not advise you to immediately jump down, hide behind the box and shoot from there. So you will kill the enemy in no less than 30 minutes, and you will hardly kill at all. The best thing is to climb up and jump on the back of this caterpillar and hit with a sword. So you will kill the boss in 5 minutes.

5. If you play werewolf style. To keep it longer, you need to constantly attack the enemy. It's better if you are far away from the enemy to use Ebony & Ivory pistols. And also, choose Kalina Ann (rocket launcher), then quickly switch to pistols. Dante will use pistols and the shadow will use Kalina Ann. The same applies to melee weapons.

6. As you know, each Boss has his own weak point.

1) The Centipede has a head.

2 Jesters - you need to catch the moment when he laughs and shoot him with a firearm (it's better to combo and shoot with Virgil).

3) Cerberus - paws, and when life remains the last strip (checked by the sight) - it's better to jump away.

4) Agni and Rudra - we must try to hit the hands as accurately as possible so that the sword flies off. When one of the brothers remains, it is better to shoot from the air (for Dante).

5) Virgil 1 - Ebony & Ivory are good for him, keep an eye on the "moment" when Vergil turns away and strike. If you ALREADY HAVE Beowulf, then this weapon is the best against him.

6) Heart of Lifivian - First you need to "stun" one of the two hearts. Moreover, it is better to do this with Kalina Ann (if you already have one). And also, to catch the moment when the Main Heart attacks.

7) Witch - it's better to use pistols. Before this level, I bought Holy Water. You can stun her in two ways - when she laughs or when she unleashes a few bunches of roaming mice. When she writes an electric field on the floor, it is better to linger in the air, firing pistols. When she has her last life left, use Holy Water (although this should be done with Virgil, and, playing as Dante, hit her before she starts running after you.)

8) Jester 2 and 3 - already playing Very Hard and Dante Must Die mods, I didn't fight him, you can just bypass him.

9) Steed - First, take away one-fifth of his life by shooting him when he runs towards you. Then you will fall into the coliseum. When it stops firing rockets at you, just jump on it.

True, you will have to “eat” the Devil Star along the way (and thereby restore the trigger), but this is a small price to pay for the opportunity to increase the maximum life bar.

8. In the battle with the hearts of Liviathan (at least with the left one), you can use Dante's incomprehensible jumping ability. To do this, aim at the heart, do a double jump to fly as high as possible and hit with a biowulf, after hitting Dante should fly up a little and you can strike (especially useful on very hard and dante mast give (if very hard is not passed)).

9. In the fight against Faido (three-headed dog), try to knock down the ice blocks he launches, then you will get a few lives.

  • Purple Orb- Adds one orb to Devil Trigger.
  • Yellow Orb- the same ball to restore the game, which was mentioned above.

What's happened Devil Trigger? After the seventh mission, Dante will be able to turn into a demon for a limited time - until the balls under the health bar run out. What does it give? Strength and speed. Dante moves faster and enemies die three times faster.

Balls are restored during fights or with a special item. Often, the only way to win a battle is thanks to Devil Trigger. This is especially felt in boss fights. Also, some moves require the Devil Trigger to be activated.

During the game, you will often encounter stones that resemble the sun. They need to be hit a few times to light the fires. Usually this is a "switch" of some action. You will also find crystals, breaking which will get a bunch of red balls.

In addition to all this, there are statues of war. They store blue orb fragments and can be broken with certain weapons. If the weapon is chosen incorrectly, this will be written after the first strike. Sometimes the task becomes more difficult, and you need to perform a combination of strikes of a certain level.

To make it clearer, let me give you an example. Let's say you played a dashing combination from the list " Dante's weapon" or " Virgil's weapon". An inscription appeared in the upper right corner of the screen and a scale below it. Quickly land the second combination of punches. The scale was filled, another inscription appeared with a new scale.

In other words, the faster and harder you hit, the faster the combometer fills up. The highest result is SSStylish, but it is not so easy to achieve it. Therefore, breaking some statues can be an overwhelming task.

A knight fully armored. It can only be broken by attacking from behind. I tried in vain not to mess with these demons - too much trouble. If possible, it is better to run past. Their attack is a swift ram.

Soul Eaters

Dangerous demons. They try to ram the character or lift him into the air to suck out the Devil Trigger.

Fallen

This demon is more difficult than other bosses. It can only be hit by a punch in the stomach. But for this you have to break through the protection of the wings. Attacks in the following ways: throw and sharp blow with a sword; a throw with a sword that explodes after a while, dealing damage in a decent radius.

Styles

The game has six styles for Dante and one for Virgil. The style depends on how you play the game. Four styles are available initially. The last two will have to be mined as you progress. Basic styles increase in level, after which new moves become available.

Trickster

This style allows Dante to jump and dodge with ease. That is, in this way it is easier to defend against attacks, but you yourself will not be able to deal damage, as with the Swordmaster style. However, I recommend that beginners use this particular style. If you are playing for the first time, it will be much easier.

Press circle and move key. Dante will abruptly rush to the side. This is useful when you need to quickly disappear to avoid an attack. As the level increases, Dante will start moving further and faster.

Standing near the wall, press the circle. Dante will run along the wall and make a dashing jump. You can use this maneuver after double jumping to get even higher.

Jump, movement key and circle. Dante will do an acrobatics in the air. To be honest, it's not entirely clear when this might come in handy. Unless you dodge an attack. But in the air, rarely anyone attacks ...

Forward, R1 and circle. Dante will disappear and reappear in front of the monster you have scoped. Extremely useful in boss battles, and useful in regular battles as well.

Gunslinger

Adds new moves for firearms. Yes, pistols are much inferior to swords, but if you learn how to play, you can deal decent damage and make beautiful combinations. For weapon techniques, see the chapter " Firearms».

Royal Guard

Interesting style. Allows you to absorb damage and return it to enemies. True, it is difficult to master, but if you manage, you will get a fantastic result. This style is especially helpful at higher difficulty levels.

Block. Press the circle when the opponent attacks - this way you will parry the blow and stun the demon. The same can be done in the air. If you hold the circle, you will receive 25% less damage. It is clear that the first is more profitable, but it is more difficult to implement.

Attack. After reflecting a bunch of enemy attacks, press the circle to perform a return combo. The damage is colossal. The same can be done in the air. Just make sure that the enemy is nearby, otherwise the attack will go into the void.

Shield. After repelling a lot of hits, press R1, back and circle. Dante will create a shield that reflects enemy attacks and converts them into additional health. It's just wonderful: Dante is killed, and he recovers before our eyes!

Quicksilver

This style is obtained by defeating the Demon Horse. It allows you to stop time until the Devil Trigger ends. Opponents stop, which gives Dante the opportunity to attack with impunity. An extremely useful style, both against bosses and lesser demons. Press R1 and circle to activate the ability.

Doppelganger

The Blood Link

Do not forget to pick up the first aid kit, which lies near the door. You will need it soon, because in the end you will have to fight the first boss. This is a fairly simple opponent, but likes to use spatial portals. Instantaneous movements from one point to another are dangerous because you can miss a blow in the back.

His favorite attacks after moving are a lunge and a scythe or two at the same time. Therefore, when he disappears, immediately jump to the side and open fire with pistols. Then run up and cut with a sword.

Sometimes you can catch and interrupt the attack with a counterattack, but it's better not to risk it. When the boss blocks, immediately run around him from the side and punch a series of blows. If things are really bad, use the found first aid kit. While this can be avoided...

The Devil Tower

Immediately after the start of the level, run forward and jump towards the Enigma. These monsters have an amazing ability to crap at the most inopportune moment, so you have to deal with them first. A couple of punches should be enough to knock them down.

Then jump down and start walking around the rest of the monsters. Come into the bar. There are no opponents here, so you can take a break. Then break the furniture and jump on the bar counter in order to replenish your health.

To open the door, break the three jukeboxes on the left and attack the stone circle. When it bursts into flame, the force field will subside. Take the shotgun from the wall and move on. In the next room you will meet new opponents. They hold a blow well, hit hard, but move too slowly, so they can be dealt with without losing health.

Break the furniture, go up the stairs for a plus and go outside. There are no enemies here, but a lot of interesting things are hidden. First, collect the balls that are scattered on the upper tiers. You can get there with a double jump. Don't forget the blue ball!

Break the decrepit wall near the lanterns to get to the crystal with a couple of thousand red orbs. Also, look for a statue on the building nearby. If you can make a Blast combo, get a blue orb.

Cerberus is the first serious boss, and you need to approach him with extreme caution. The first thing to remember is that in order to damage him, you first have to knock down the ice shell. It is best to do this with pistols, it is too dangerous to meddle with a sword. The second is that the Cerberus has three heads, and each one attacks in its own way.

Only the middle head can attack, and it is better to learn the attacks of each one in order to dodge attacks in a timely manner. A head with yellow eyes throws off healthy blocks of ice from above. A head with blue eyes spits out ice balls. The head with red eyes has ice breath. If you fall into its area of ​​effect, you will take damage and freeze for a while.

You will again find yourself in the center of the tower, only one floor higher. Climb up and go through the yellow door. The exits are sealed, so it remains to go up the stairs. She will not support the weight, and Dante will fall down.

A bunch of monsters are waiting below. Kill everyone, go upstairs and go through the opened door. You have to fight with the next boss. Despite its impressive appearance, an overgrown worm is killed quite easily - it will only take a long time to torment.

His only attack is electric balls that fly from his belly. They are easy to dodge: just run into cover or jump to the second tier. How to beat? Stay upstairs and wait. When the worm flies by, jump on its back and punch through a series of blows. Climb back up and wait. Repeat until the end. Then collect the red orbs and exit through the door on the lower tier. New level - new enemies. "Birds" are a fearless adversary. Just do not need to hit with a sword, otherwise they will create new ones. First fire with pistols, and when the opponents turn to stone, break them down with a sword.

When the portals disappear, shoot the boss again with pistols, run up close and attack with a sword. After defeating the jester, return to the center of the tower. Climb to the very top and insert the found amulet into the pedestal.

On the fourth floor, the walls have moved away, and now you can pick up the trident. Plus, a red circle lit up below; if you stand on it, Dante will throw you high. Such a kind of elevator, which allows you to avoid long races.

Remember the stone behind bars? You need to go back to that room. Insert the trident into the mechanism opposite the cage, pick up the stone and finish off the monsters that have come running. Now remember the room where the stairs collapsed. Step into the abyss. The soul stone will not allow you to fall down. On the other side, look for a statue from which you can knock out a blue ball. Then insert the stone into the hole and go through the door.

Now you have a fun ride. Activate the lift with a series of kicks on the stone, jump in and get ready. Soon, opponents will begin to pour in from above. Killing them is easy, the difficulty is different: do not miss an enemy strike, so as not to fly down, otherwise you will have to start over.

Once on the site, find the statue and buy the necessary items. This is probably the most difficult battle in the game. The gate is guarded by two brothers. And with one it’s tight, but with two it’s a pipe at all. I advise you to upgrade pistols to the second level and choose the Trickster style (also preferably the second level).

How do they attack? Jump and attack. Just jump or run away. Run and kick. The bosses ride Dante and try to seriously cripple him. Only a double jump will save here. Particularly arrogant can try to attack in the air. Pay attention to the fact that the first two attacks are performed by the monsters together, and they are the most dangerous. In general, listen to what they yell before attacking, and you will soon understand what expression the blow will follow. There can be two tactics: either constantly fire with pistols, jump and dodge blows, or learn habits and screams in order to know when the enemy will attack, and punch a series of blows at the right moments. If you successfully hit the adversaries, you can knock the sword out of your hands. At this point, the opponent will kneel. Run up and use a crushing combo.

With pistols, this trick is also possible. Only, as it seemed to me, it would be more difficult to fulfill it. Although some argue that, on the contrary, it is easier. In general, I advise you to switch from one brother to another. Because when you finish off one, the second will go completely berserk.

Attacks, in principle, will remain the same, but the speed will increase. Jumping and attacking, running and hitting, a stream of fire, a whirlwind of fire and ice. Do not even try to reach the enemy with a sword. Constantly shoot him with pistols and jump like crazy.

If you were able to almost completely nullify the second brother's health before finishing off the first brother, then the battle will end with a couple of accurate shots. Otherwise, I do not guarantee that victory will be yours.

Family Ties

We actually need to go to the left aisle. But it is littered, so search the statue and go straight ahead. See the three rooms? You need to complete at least two trials in order to get two special crystals. But if you get three, you'll get a new weapon.

If you make a mistake, a bunch of monsters will appear, and after the victory you will return to the entrance. Combat test. Everything is simple. When the stones are not burning, the enemies are invulnerable. Therefore, you need to quickly light them (stones, of course) and deal with the enemy. When the stones go out, repeat the procedure.

Now go to the room where the passage is littered and insert three crystals into the statue. Congratulations on your new weapon purchase. Yes, the road is clear too. In the corridor, break the statue with the brother swords, collect the red orbs and go downstairs to complete the mission.

A chance meeting

Brother Dante is a simple opponent. He attacks as follows: fast run and attack with a sword; a series of sword strikes; wave of energy. How to beat him? You need to carefully monitor such feints so as not to get hit from the back. But in general, the tactics are exactly the same. When you remove all health, watch the crazy cutscene. Pay special attention to the descent from the tower.

Honestly, I don’t remember anywhere else such an original level. You will have to fight organs and monsters in the demon's stomach in order to get out. However...

To get out of this room (let it be called that), you need to destroy five pulsating processes, then the passages will open. One is near the bus, two are on the upper tier, one is downstairs in a cave, the last one is also on the second tier. But you can get to it only through the mentioned cave.

After destroying the shoots, go into the cave. After running through the intestines and getting to the heart, inspect the future boss and exit through the membrane (you know, it seems to me that the writers ate too much sushi).

After walking a little forward, you will suddenly fall under an evil monster. You should not fight him, just run as fast as possible, otherwise the insides will be devoured. When you get to the end, cut through the membrane to get into the shelter. Next, you will meet a detachment of demons that are taken out at the expense of times.

In the retina, chop demons until you get an item. It's simple. The next gut has two "sleeves" that hide the green orb and the statue. To break it, you need a flail. Then you will again fall under the distribution of the internal organ. Elegantly run away from him. Once in the stomach, again climb into the hole that leads to the heart.

So, in addition to the heart itself, a bunch of demons will keep you company. They also need to be hit on the head with a sword as far as possible. But the heart is more important, especially since it is not one. The two extras don't attack, but one absorbs prizes knocked out of opponents and the other weakens Devil Trigger.

The central heart is not easy to get, it is constantly hiding in the shell. You need to beat like this: first beat one of the additional hearts; when it dies, the main thing will stick out and try to get Dante. Either shoot balls - in this case, bounce or put a demon in the way, or turn on the laser - just jump over. By the way, the last attack is different - one beam or two.

After surviving the attack of the heart (the enemy should, by the way, become much smaller), run up to the central heart and beat until it hides. Then again take on additional hearts that have already come to life. Well, and so on in the same vein, until a heart attack occurs.

To go further, you need to turn the bridge, but this will not be possible until the next chapter. Therefore, without hesitation, run forward and go through the door. In this hall, you have to solve a riddle: you need to direct a beam of light at the statue in order to open the door. To do this, break unnecessary crystals. In the next corridor, you will have to fight with extreme caution. Rotating blades protrude from the walls, which perfectly remove health. It will be especially unpleasant if you start to throw from one blade to another. Therefore, be careful.

Underground lake. In the tower? OK. Run to the left first and jump up to the second tier to collect the red orbs. Then break the statue and jump onto the ruins. At the very top you will find a sniper rifle.

In the next room, take the "ambrosia" and get ready for the invasion of spiders with demons. After dealing with them, return to the underground lake and go to the passage under the waterfall. First, jump down and collect the balls, then go back and go right. Finish off the monsters and insert the ambrosia into the statue to unlock the door. Behind it, another boss awaits you.

The Siren is a dangerous opponent. Therefore, before you fight, you need to study her habits. Let's start with attacks. Each attack begins with a specific phrase that goes something like this:

After destroying all the bats that guarded it, run up and start slashing with your sword. Just look - when the demon is almost completely immersed in the floor, immediately bounce away so as not to lose health.

When you remove 2/3 of her health from her, the siren will finally go berserk and start attacking much faster. But that's okay - just jump faster. The most dangerous of all is the last attack, pumping health from Dante to the demon. Seeing that the siren rushed to Dante, immediately run with all your might, so that your heels sparkle. The job

After such a battle, it is not a sin to stand and rest. Take the mask and run to the underground lake. Insert the mask to raise the bridge, take the neo-generator lying near the statue, and exit from here.

On the trip, you need to fight off the demons who decided to ruin your life once again. You can’t fall down, so dealing with them is not a big problem. Don't forget to shoot "riddles" from pistols.

Having reached the final station, buy the necessary items from the statue and go through the door. You have a boss fight.

Let's start with boss attacks. Triple punch: several strong blows from the right and left. Kick: Beowulf will try to step on you to turn you into a cake. When you take off most of his health, the demon will begin to attack more actively, try to stomp, shoot energy and throw coffins. Carefully study the habits and, catching a respite between attacks, cut the eye again.

Hunter and Hunted

Dante received another neo-generator, which turned him into a demon and constantly takes away health. Wow gift. We need to get rid of him quickly, before the end of health.

Run to the cart and roll to the other side. During the trip, opponents will annoy, they will bring not only experience, but also balls that replenish health. So try to deal with them as soon as possible.

Brother Dante is defeated - but not destroyed. He will let you know about himself in the future.

Then run along the old paths to the bridge. Along the way, you will have to fight demons, but this will only benefit you - at least restore the health that the neo-generator takes away. Once on the bridge, Dante will get rid of the crystal and take on his normal appearance.

Entering the corridor, stand on the glowing circle to be transported to the arena to fight the jester. There are not so many differences from the first battle, so read what you had to do in the Of Devils and Swords mission.

When you take him down to 75% health, the jester will show you a couple of new tricks. He will summon a ball with a face and jump on it and from there he will launch charges of energy. Sometimes the ball explodes when slashed with a sword. Avoid shots, as before - by jumping and somersaults to the side.

Then go through the door and go to the long bridge. There you will find a mad horse with a carriage. Here is such an unusual level boss. The battle will take place in two stages: the first on the bridge, the second in the arena. On the bridge, the horse attacks in the following ways: it jumps out of the gate and rushes forward, trying to trample Dante, or it stops and fires three rockets. The last attack is easy to dodge with a jump. From the first, escape with a double jump. At the same time, try to fire at the horse with pistols or chop with a sword.

After several attempts to trample Dante, the horse will stop to take a breath. Jump up to her and slash a few times with your sword - she should fall to the ground. Do not waste time and throw a combination of punches.

After you remove some health from the horse, the bridge will collapse and the battle will move to the arena. Here, enemy attacks will become more diverse. The horse will begin to prance in a circle, launching rockets, and will also try to hit the carriage.

Another horse will stop time in a certain radius around him. If you fall into this radius, you will get hit on the head with a carriage and you will not be able to do anything. She will also fire blue blasts of energy and launch orbs that stop time. From this you need to escape with a double jump. And of course, she will still try to trample you to death, jumping out of the gate.

How to attack her? While the horse is raging, dodge attacks while shooting with pistols or other firearms (although you won’t remove much life from it). Having caught a good moment, run up to the demon and strike with swords. Usually, after a good hit, the horse falls to the ground, thus allowing a great combination to be punched. But soon the monster will jump up, freeze time and, quite likely, give Dante a good blow. Here's how lucky.

Chaos"Warm Welcome

In the corridor you will meet new demons. After dealing with them, exit through the door and up the stairs. Go to the right of the door to pick up a plus, then go back and go to the other end. There, deal with opponents and go through the first door.

In this room, you need to direct a beam of light to get the crystal. First, break the wall with a crack, and destroy the second crystal in the corridor. Return to the room and destroy the crystals so that it turns out as it is shown in the picture. Pick up the crystal and exit the room.

Destroy the demons that popped up out of nowhere while you were tormented with the riddle, and go to the second door. You can break the statue if you brought Nevan to the mission. Insert the found crystal and enter the arena. Now you have a second battle with Virgil.

The brother has become much stronger since the last meeting, but the habits have remained the same. The same feints, sudden jumps, sudden movements, teleports and energy shots. Therefore, you can fight in the same way as in the A Chance Meeting mission.

There are only two differences. Now, instead of a sword, he usually uses Beowulf gloves, which is much more painful. He also turns into a demon, like Dante. In this state, it is better to stay away from him. Running along the walls and double jumps is not bad.

Virgil blocks most of your attacks and ignores firearms. Therefore, it is worth attacking only when he finishes his own attack. Problems will begin when you remove almost all of his health - he will turn into a demon much more often.

Drive!

After the battle, jump over the broken brick wall, go to the end and jump up. Collect 1500 red orbs. Now go to the abyss where Virgil fell and pick up the Beowulf Gloves. Use them to break the statue that blocks the exit, take the blue ball and move on.

Break the crystal to collect red orbs and enter the elevator. Go further until you reach the hall with the altar. Kill the demons, get out of here and get on the cart. While you are rolling, you will again have to deal with monsters.

Walk straight ahead and enter the green room. Deal with the monsters, return to the room you came from and go into the pink room. There you will meet new demons, which are very convenient to destroy from Beowulf.

Go to the dead end room, pick up the plus and step into the orange room. From there, go to the exit, remembering to grab the blue ball. Take the green ball on the statue and exit through the door. Destroy the monsters and move on.

Collect the balls in the bar, destroy the furniture and go outside. Take the red orbs and holy water from the last building on the left and run towards the tower. There, Dante will find a motorcycle and climb to the top, and in a very extravagant way.

The Gatecrasher

The beginning of the level is annoyingly difficult. The first time you will encounter an opponent who is more difficult to defeat than some bosses. For details, see the Monsters chapter. In the next room, you will have to fight overgrown spiders.

From here you will enter the hall with a lift. To run it, you need three pattern fragments. They are scattered at different ends of the tower, and to get there, you have to start the turning mechanism.

Hit him until the lights come on. The tower will turn. Exit through the door with the emblem on the door. The wheels spin and shred you into cabbage if you stumble. Run through them until you reach the next door. Along the way, remember where the stone that rotates the tower stands.

Take the symbol and get ready to face a new enemy. It is dangerous if hit by a laser beam, but nothing serious. Only now there will be a lot of them ... Then get out of here. Now you can go to the lower door to get the second symbol.

Deal with the monsters, go up the stairs and go through the door. The doors will close in the room, and a bunch of demons will jump in. Destroy them, take away pluses and leave on the stairs. Climb down and enter the opening.

Light a fire on two stones. Two balls will descend from above. You need to push them in such a way that they hit and fall apart. This puzzle is much easier than the previous one: first you hit one ball on one side, then another on the other side. They fly to the center, meet and scatter to pieces.

Pick up the symbol, finish off the demons and return to the room with the closed gate. Finish off the birds, climb up and jump out into the hole. Continue on until you reach the library. An unusual boss awaits there.

This is a simple opponent. Seize the moment - there will be no more such indulgences. The girl attacks exclusively from her monstrous grenade launcher. Before firing, she aims for a long time and says something. If you have time, run up close and prescribe a series of blows. If not, then jump to the side.

She also constantly climbs somewhere on a hook and fires from machine guns. This is easily avoided by constantly moving and wiggling from side to side. When you take most of her health off, she will jump onto stands and throw grenades.

How to fight? Very simple. You flee from attacks, and when she descends to the ground, you run up and break through a series of blows. You just need to be careful not to get hit by a rocket. True, it is difficult to catch her, because the girl constantly runs away. But once you get the hang of it, there won't be any problems. That's all.

Inner Demons

Pick up a plus in the corridor, break the wall to get into the room and start the battle. You were already in this chamber when you passed the test of the warrior. Let me remind you the rules: you need to light a fire on the stones and, while it burns, kill the demons. True, the opponents have become tougher, so if it doesn’t work out, you can skip the room. She is not required. If you complete the task, pick up the prize and go out into the corridor. Then go through the blue door.

Attacking in the air has a number of advantages. The character is hard to hit.

Break the statue and crystal to get a blue and red ball. Now you need to go upstairs. To do this, you have to jump on the cubes. The order is this: first jump onto the cube in the middle of the room; when another one comes down from above, jump on it.

Wait until another cube comes down, get over it. Then to the platform, from there to the door. Go inside, destroy the enemies, collect items - among which is a blue orb - and return. Jump back to the platform. From there to a cube that spins in a circle, from it to four cubes that move near the wall and constantly change shape.

Climb up and jump to the door. There is a choice here: go straight upstairs or go through the door first to fight the jester for the last time. He hasn't changed his habits, so you know what to do. The only difference is that he will summon a demonic ball when half of his life remains.

Destroy the demons in the room and move on. Remember the spiked corridor where you took the skill test? So, now it will be much worse. You need to move faster and more carefully. This will be followed by traveling through the halls, picking up items and fighting demons (among which there are new instances).

Soon you will reach the level boss. If you know his weak point, it is not much more difficult to deal with him than with a lady. Since he is a shadow, it means that he is afraid of the light. In the normal state, you can’t break through at all, so you need to open the “eyes” on the wall with blows. The light will fall on the shadow, and it will curl up. You can hit. Shadow attacks are as follows: a shot of dark energy that extinguishes an open "eye"; the shadow lowers its hand and dark energy strikes Dante from the floor; two options for striking with swords and a sharp throw.

How to fight? You stand and wait for the shadow to rush to Dante. Open the "eye" with a blow, hit the shadow and run away to avoid a retaliatory attack. Then stand at the other "eye" and wait.

By opening all the "eyes", you will be able to hit longer and deal more damage. But soon the shadow will cover the light sources, and you will have to start from the beginning. In general, the main difficulty is to understand at what point you need to open your “eye” so as not to get hit and catch the enemy. But if you get the hang of it, you can deal with the demon in a few minutes. The reward is a new style.

Invading Hell

After a little run through Hell, you will get to the chessboard. We'll have to play a hell of a game. The main tactic is this: finish off the king faster, then the rest of the pieces will die. Therefore, all attention is on the king. Do the rest of the demons only if they interfere too much.

After getting off the chessboard, finish off the demons and jump into the portal. See the green balls? Don't take them. They will be needed later. Better find a board with stones. The color of each crystal correspond to a specific boss.

They can be found if you go into the stone board with the figure. It is necessary to light the crystals in such an order that they form such a picture: three crystals are connected, a semicircle is formed, a full circle. That is, no one forces them to kill everyone, three are enough. For example, Cerberus, Agni and Rudra, Beowulf. But if you kill everyone, you will get a blue orb. True, the reward is not worth the effort.

Forces collide

I advise you to choose the Swordmaster style, because at the end of the level there will be a boss battle, which requires not cunning, but brute force. In the first room, destroy the opponents and jump into the portal.

Here you need to beat the enemy in an unusual way. Don't try to destroy the demons, it's better to break the green mirror that moves between the walls. Once done, a portal will open.

In this area, you need to destroy the opponents before the sand in the clock runs out, otherwise you will have to start from the beginning. It's not difficult, the demons are not particularly strong. Then run up to the clock, pick up the item and jump into the portal. Then again into the portal, another one - and, finally, insert the found item into the statue.

It remains to jump into the portal to start the boss fight. He's not too difficult. Consider this a respite before the last battle. Hellish battle.

The Shapeless Slime Pile attacks in the following ways: tentacle strike; top and side; blow and shot; hide underground and attack with a bunch of toothy fish; and finally, a ram with a carcass.

Run up and carry out terrible combinations of blows. You dodge incoming attacks by jumping. When the monster breaks up into fish, shoot them with pistols and chop them with a sword. After exterminating the small creatures, take on the monster again.

After removing half of the life, you will receive Virgil as a support, who repeats the movements of Dante. You attack, he attacks. You jump, he jumps. How to act now? Similar. Only it will be twice as easy.

Screaming Souls

The last fight with his brother and generally the last in the game. Don't think it will be easy! It will be hard. Buy healing products, purple orbs and, if possible, a couple of vials of holy water. If you don't have enough cash, it's better to go through several levels to accumulate red balls.

Virgil attacks: two hits, uppercut, attack from above, a sharp jerk and a blow; top attack; two blows with two swords; sharp jerk and overturning blow; energy shots; transformation into a demon.

The main problem is not attacks, but the speed with which he performs them, and the damage dealt. Many of his tricks have remained the same, only it will be harder to handle. However, this must be used. He, as before, is vulnerable to attacks. Therefore, you dodge blows, then attack, having previously turned into a demon in order to take off more.

Turning into a demon, he will begin to deal massive damage. But he will have to be attacked, because he gradually restores life and - most importantly - after a couple of blows from Dante, he immediately turns into a man. The Beowulf gloves and air attack usually work well.

Also, in the guise of a demon, he can summon a huge black ball and start firing. Or turn into pure energy and chase Dante. At such moments, you yourself need to turn into a demon and quickly run away.

But after such an attack, Virgil becomes vulnerable for a few seconds, which should be used. But the main tactic is this: counterattack after the attack and the transformation from demon to human. Also try to stun him with some kind of technique in order to carry out a full-fledged combination of blows. And do not forget to use holy water if it gets really bad - at least a little closer to victory.

The game is over, but it's too early to relax. During the credits, kill 100 enemies and you will see a cutscene of Vergil's adventures in Hell. What else can be fun? Complete the game a second time as Brother Dante, trying out new styles and different combinations. In the end, you can do secret missions, of course, if you so desire.

After the end of the game, a new playable character - Vergil, new costumes for Dante, a menu with all the cutscenes, additional difficulty levels, a gallery with drawings and videos about the creation of the game became available.

Secret missions

Secret Missions are optional quests that reward a Blue Orb Fragment. Finding them is not easy, and doubly difficult to fulfill. Let's talk about how to do it.

The Exorcist

Where is: Second mission, 13th Avenue (door near the blockage).

What to do: Destroy the demons in one minute.

In the allotted time, you need to finish off about a dozen lesser demons. The enemy is weak and dies quickly. Do not try to do something incredible, use the usual combinations. If you have time, then break the furniture to get red balls.

untouchable

Where is: Fifth mission, Surge of Fortunas (before riding the lift, examine the red object near the wall).

What to do: Destroy demons without taking damage.

There are four Enigmas in total. But in order to defeat them, you need to move quickly. Very fast. Therefore, I advise you to choose the Trickster style.

Death from Above

Where is: The seventh mission, The Dark Corridor (Just after the start of the mission, jump into a small depression).

What to do: Stay in the air for 20 seconds.

A tricky task, but it can be solved. The key to success is to jump on the heads of opponents. Unrealistic? Very real. Jump up, do a double jump. Shoot all the way out of the pistols to slowly go down. Then land on your head and jump up again. True, it is almost impossible to do this on the keyboard.

Devil's Teeter-totter

Where is: The eighth mission, Leviathan's Stomach (break the boards in the cave near the pirate ship).

What to do: Take the lift to the top.

The problem is that the demons are constantly jumping down from above and trying to push. Also, the platform can collapse if too many enemies accumulate on it. What to do? Push monsters with a knockback attack. Or you can wait to get a grenade launcher and shoot at the enemy. Demons will instantly scatter in different directions.

Destroyer

Where is: The ninth mission, Limestone Cavern (you need to jump up).

What to do: Destroy all objects within the allotted time.

50 items in 40 seconds? No problem. Choose a fast weapon, remember what and where it is. Then break until it works. Should get it soon.

Flight of the Demon

Where is: Mission 10, Subterranean Lake (when you insert the stone mask and get the neo generator, go to the right of the statue).

What to do: Collect all the balls before the time runs out.

40 balls still need to be found. Therefore, first carefully look for hiding places. Then turn into a demon and quickly collect. Perhaps it will work in the normal state, but it did not work out for me.

Hang 10

Where is: The eleventh mission, Gears of Madness (go downstairs and go to the door, find a small platform and jump up).

What to do: Reach the Blue Orb Fragment within the allotted time.

Make sure you get 7-8 balls in the Devil Trigger lineup. When the mission starts, turn into a demon and run forward. Do not pay attention to opponents, not up to them. Jump over the heads. When the energy runs out, use the balls to restore it.

Tough Guys

Where is: Mission thirteen, Spiral Staircase (note the red light instead of white - that's it).

What to do: Destroy opponents.

No limits, just another fight. Only complex. It all depends on the skill and the chosen weapon. Better take what is more powerful.

Target Practice

Where is: The fourteenth mission, Vestibule (when you enter the room, turn around and jump upstairs).

What to do: Destroy opponents before they hide.

Take with you a sniper rifle, pistols and quickly shoot, changing weapons depending on the situation. Remember, you have to shoot fast. If not, come back here when you get a style that allows you to slow down time.

Guiding Light

Where is: The sixteenth mission, Waking Sun Chamber (when you destroy the ball, the wall will open - there you will find the entrance).

What to do: Solve the problem with crystals.

As far as I understand, the arrangement of the crystals changes every time. Therefore, before acting, carefully look and think for half an hour. Mentally pave the way, then try.

On Pins And Needles

Where is: Mission 18, Pitch-Black Corridor (jump up).

What to do: You need to go through the corridor with spikes to the blue ball.

Choose Trickster style (second level) and use movement bounce,movement key and circle. It allows you to pass through the spikes and not take damage. If you have not grown to the second level, you will have to suffer from jumps and dodges.

Final Ascension

Where is: Nineteenth mission, Road To Despair (run to the big leg and go down).

What to do: Get to the blue ball.

To get to the ball, you have to jump on the cubes. Acrobatics of the highest level, words can not describe. It all depends on skill and perseverance. And do not think that it will turn out the first time - or even the tenth.
