Tips on how to complete tasks in the Sims free play game?

You need to complete the Sims FreePlay game by doing game tasks, which will bring additional profit, as well as tell you what to do next.

Tasks are of three types:

  1. Single tasks performed in your city. To complete them, you need to perform one action. Completing these quests will reward you with Simoleons, XP, or Lifestyle Points ( SJ). Since version 5.0.0, for completing a certain number of such tasks per week, they give prize box keys.
  2. Groups of tasks performed in your city, for example: "Road to Glory", "Mysterious Island", "Coming of Age", "Higher Education", "Great Ghost Escape". Such tasks consist of several single tasks. After completing a group of tasks, you will get the opportunity to build a new building (bridge on Mysterious Island, high school), to grow a teenager out of a student or another special award.
  3. Single missions in your neighbors' city, for which they give communication points.

There are tasks in which there seems to be no logic and no matter what we try, nothing changes. What to do in such cases? Where to look for hints? Of course, other Sims free play players can tell you, and you can also find the answer on this page!

As discussed many times in previous articles, The Sims Freeplay is a mobile game created by EA for Android and iOS devices. And despite the fact that the game was updated some time ago, we thought it would be a good idea to brush up on your knowledge with some new tips for passing one of the most popular games worldwide. But what should you expect from mobile version this "popular simulation game"? First of all, this is a kind of "distilled" version of the Sims game for other platforms, here you can also create your own Sims, build houses, let them interact with each other like people in real world. They can wear different outfits, live in houses, take care of pets, and grow from infancy to old age, just like in the real world.

In this quest guide, we decided to focus on the last aspect of The Sims Freeplay - how Sims grow from infancy to adulthood. What do they do, what should you expect, and what should you do at every stage of their Sims life?

There are a few things you need to have in order for two Sims to have children. First of all, your house must have a crib, and two Sims must be married in order for them to have children. Yes, The Sims Freeplay "removes" the old school principle in this respect, but in terms of game mechanics- it makes sense.

When caring for babies, you should teach them to crawl and then walk. You can also teach them some life skills like music by teaching them how to play the xylophone. Summing up, it should be noted that babies should be constantly under the strict supervision of adults.

2. Babies

In The Sims Freeplay, compared to babies, caring for toddlers is a bit more difficult. Adult Sims will still need to keep a close eye on toddlers anyway. You can take the kids to the nursery Entertainment Center to keep them entertained, and take them to the beach where you can collect shells with them.

3. Children 10-12 years old

Children 10-12 years old in The Sims Freeplay have a lot in common with real children of the same age. In particular, this concerns the fact that at this age children spend money, but cannot yet earn it on their own. But in the game, they can collect some money through their hobbies such as figure skating, ballet, karate and just like toddlers, they can collect shells. Children 10-12 years old do not require additional attention from adults, but there are some aspects where they cannot do without the help of adults.

4. Teenagers

Teenagers, like preteens, spend a lot of money, but unlike them, teenagers can earn money on their own. But don't expect them to be able to make a lot of money. The only time teens need adult help is driving. Teenagers have a fairly wide range of hobbies compared to ten-year-olds. These include cooking, figure skating, swimming, arcade games, surfing, break dancing, modeling, and casting spells.

5. Adults

Adults are the only ones who do routine daily work during the day: put food on the table and work at work. But they can also have their own hobbies, like the teenage hobbies above. They may also get into more "mature" hobbies that include fishing, ghost hunting, salsa, and more. Above all, adults should have a career, it could be something fun like games or something more serious like teaching or real estate, the long they have a job, the long they can make money from it.

6. Elderly

The elderly people in The Sims Freeplay do not work, as they have already left their jobs. What are they doing? Do they have any hobbies? Yes, there are, and these are the "stereotypical" hobbies that older people do: bird feeding, bingo, and sewing. These are new hobbies that keep your Sims busy.

It is unlikely that now there is a person who is familiar with computer games, but does not know the Sims series. This life simulator became incredibly popular even when the first part of it appeared - you were invited to move into the body of a person you created and just live it. This included food, cleaning, work, meeting people, self-development and much more.

It would seem that the idea is incredibly simple, but people really liked it, and the game immediately began to gain fans. This led to a second, much more advanced and varied part, and then a third and fourth (in between which the developer decided to experiment and made The Sims in the Middle Ages - the experiment was a success, but not as successful as the main games, so it was accepted decision to go back on track and release The Sims 4). But all these games are computer games, that is, they are very demanding on the system and the hardware on which they run. And what about those who play only on mobile devices? Previously, various imitations of The Sims have been published more than once, but all of them were several orders of magnitude worse in quality. Finally, the developers decided that it was time to release the official mobile version of the legendary series, which was called Sims Freeplay. The passage of the mobile version is not much different from how it happens on the computer - it's just that the process is a little simplified. So that you can quickly figure out how to play this project, you need to read this article. It tells the features of the Sims Freeplay game, the passage of which will not cause you any difficulties if you pay attention.

How to play?

So first of all you need to understand the basics - how to play Sims Freeplay? Passage will require you to fully understand gameplay, so you should immediately figure out what is required of you. Your task is to complete the tasks that are given to you, they are served in the form of various desires or needs of your character, so keep an eye on them. How are Sims managed in general? If you've played The Sims on PC, you should be able to figure out how to control the characters pretty quickly. If not, here is a little guide. First, you need to select one of your characters from the menu. At the beginning of the game, you can create one hero - then you do not need to choose anyone, since he will be the only one you can control. But you can create several characters at once, united in one family, or get a family in the process of passing - then you will need to switch between heroes. When one of the Sims is active, you can click on any point on the screen - if it is possible to perform any action with it, then a list of options will appear on the screen. Of all the options, you choose the one you want, and your Sim does what you told him to do. This is how you interact with Sims in the Sims Freeplay. Passing now should not cause you any difficulties.

Single Missions

Now it's time to talk about what the actual walkthrough of The Sims Freeplay is. Completing tasks is the basis of this project, so you should focus on them more carefully. So, it’s worth starting with single tasks, since they are the most common and most simple. When you have a single task, you need to familiarize yourself with its content and complete the instruction - it always consists of one step, that is, one action of your Sim. Sometimes it can be easy, sometimes it can be quite difficult, as the task may require some item that you do not have, or some action that your Sim does not yet know how to do. This is what makes it difficult to pass in Sims Freeplay. Love is a task that many gamers suffer from. Its essence is simple - you need to make another Sim fall in love with your character. It seems to be nothing complicated, but sometimes it is extremely difficult to achieve a result, and it takes much more time to complete than we would like. However, tasks are not always single.

Job groups

There are much more challenging missions, which consist of several tasks at once, which greatly complicates their implementation. Moreover, the chain can consist of both two or three, and twenty or thirty tasks. As you can see, the passage of the game The Sims Freeplay no longer looks so simple and cloudless. However, the reward is much more impressive. If for single tasks you get some money, experience or style points, then new opportunities open up for you for chains - the construction of buildings that were previously inaccessible to you, sending children to school, and so on. The developers have thought well story missions and very harmoniously fit them into what is happening in the game universe. You will definitely get a lot of pleasure from the process. You will be pleased with both single tasks and chain quests. And the passage of Sims Freeplay is unlikely to bore you, because every time you will be offered more and more new opportunities.

Tasks for neighbors

As in most cases with mobile games, this project also has its own pseudo-multiplayer component. As you already understood from the prefix "pseudo", you will not be able to directly interact with the players. However, each day there will be challenges on Friends Lots that you can complete to earn rewards for both yourself and your playmate in The Sims Freeplay. Completing tasks will bring communication points, which are very important in this game. Well, the main groups of tasks are considered - it's time to look at a few examples.

Taunt another character

This is not the most enjoyable task, as it will definitely lower the other hero's attitude towards your Sim. But the problem is that many players simply cannot find a similar function in communicating with other characters. It's not that simple - the fact is that your character must be very funny (yes, there is a sense of humor indicator in the game that you need to develop) in order to be able to play pranks on others. Therefore, pump the necessary indicator, and after a while in the “adult life” column you will be able to see the “mock” option. Using it on another Sim will complete this task.

have a baby

This task causes few problems in the first stage, but it only counts if the game sees that your newborn baby is in the cradle. But many players have problems with this - for some reason, parents put the child on the floor, although there is a cradle in the house. What is the problem? You need to understand that this is not real life and the game, so everything possible options actions here are prescribed by the program. Therefore, if you put the double bed on one side against the wall, then only one sim can lie down in it, because the entrance for the second one will be blocked by the wall. The same thing happens with the cradle - if the approach to it is somehow closed, then the Sims put the baby on the floor. Place it so that it does not touch anything on either side - and you will easily complete this quest.

Relax on an inflatable chair

This task looks extremely simple: all you need to have is a pool and for it. But an unexpected problem can arise here, because the Sim may simply refuse to climb into the pool. But you must understand that he does it for a reason. Most often, the problem can be solved by checking the color of the water - if it is yellow or brown, if the water is not clear, then this means that the pool is too dirty. Therefore, first you need to clean it up, and then go through this quest.

Love is in the air

This chain of tasks is one of the most famous and longest that the Sims Freeplay walkthrough can offer you. "Love is in the air" is a quest during which you need to start a relationship with another character and bring it to marriage. This is done in twenty different steps, each of which can take from a few seconds (for example, a kiss on the cheek) to several hours (watching a movie together). Just follow the instructions that the game gives you and you shouldn't have any problems with the passage. It all starts with the fact that you need to take a shower, and ends with marriage with another character. What do you get for the Sims Freeplay Love is in the Air quest? Completing this quest fully allows any of your characters to freely marry and marry.

Peculiarities

There are many little things that you should pay attention to in this game. For example, if you shake your device while the game is on, your Sims may vomit and have to clean up after them. Also note that, unlike the computer version, you cannot rewind time in the mobile version. You can do this by rearranging the time on your device, but this is considered cheating.

requirements

Beginning of the game

When you first start the game, there are two game launch modes - start over and download data (download game progress from the cloud). If you're playing for the first time, like when you start cities in The Sims 3 , the camera pans around the city and the game logo appears. The first step is to create a Sim. The second step is to complete the tutorial in the game.

Net

The game requires an internet connection for the game to detect your real time. However, after loading the game, WI-FI can be turned off. Please note that certain Wi-Fi connection security settings may not always allow you to use all the functions of the game (for example, due to such settings, the holiday boat sometimes does not load).

Camera / Viewing Angle

The game uses a third-person view of the game space. Move: Move the cameras with one finger. Rotation: Rotate the camera with two fingers. Zoom: Spread two fingers on the screen to zoom in. Or click the magnifying glass icon to zoom in or out as much as possible.

Needs and actions

The characters have six needs: companionship, leisure, food, hygiene, natural need, and vigor. Sims with their needs met are happy, healthy, and ready to take on any task you may have!

NOTE! It takes time to complete any action. You can turn off the game whenever you want, and your character will continue to perform the action that you assigned him. The game will send you notifications when important actions are completed.

Crystal (Plumbob)

The green crystal above the character's head is called a plumbob. Plumbob indicates a character who is directly under your control in this moment, is an active character.

NOTE! If you want to make another character active, click on him and then on the green exchange icon, which is located next to the character's first and last name. The crystal will go to that character.

Inspiration

When most of the needs are met, it inspires the character. Inspired characters earn much more experience points and simoleons for completing actions.

Pets

You'll start with a single treasure hunting dog, but once you build a pet store, every character can have a pet! Some dogs and cats in the pet supply store have received elite treasure hunting training, which allows them to sniff out more valuable items.

cupcakes

Cupcakes can be used to instantly meet all the needs of an active character and "inspire" him! Cupcakes are especially useful when you have too many characters in the city to look after.

tracking device

A tracking device is needed to track all characters at the same time. Touch the portrait of a character to go to visit him, or on the whistle to invite him to visit you. If the character is busy with work or has completed an action before you visit him, he cannot be summoned. First, you need to visit a character to receive the Simoleons or experience points earned for completing the action.

Bonus for performing activities at home

Sims earn extra XP and Simoleons for completing activities in their home.

Build Mode

Use Build Mode to buy and place furniture, add or resize rooms, change wallpaper and flooring, add doors and windows, and create your own garden. To delete a room, tap anywhere in the room and tap the "Sell" button. The room will be deleted, and all things in it will go to the "Luggage" section.

City value and daily rewards

Every day you will receive a letter with the income of the city. When filling the house with interesting gizmos and building the city, the reward will increase. Check your mailbox every day to get the maximum profit. You will notice that at some point, the daily reward will stabilize or stop increasing significantly in parallel with the income of the city. This is normal. The amount of the daily reward depends on the cost of the player's city.

City map

In addition to the tracking device, you can travel around the city using the city map. On the city map, you can build new houses, jobs and establishments. You can also collect income in the form of experience points and simoleons from any built building and character houses, as well as from other built places, such as a park. Sometimes, in order to construct a building, you will have to fulfill special requirements, such as reaching a certain level or adding the required number of characters.

Relations

Characters can have different types of relationships. Touch any Sim you want to talk to as the active Sim and choose the Communicate action to start developing their relationship in any direction you want. You will earn bonus experience points for reaching relationship milestones.

Work

Characters, like you, strive to work! Create jobs on the city map so they can get jobs. Different positions have different working hours, so choose the job that best suits the style of each character. Click on the suitcase on the character tracker or on the career bar if you want to send the character to work when the time is right (one hour before and two hours after the start of the work shift). Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time and the game will send you a reminder too!

Raise

The starting salary isn't that high, but staying true to your job and getting a raise will help you build up savings. Each working day brings the character closer to promotion. Don't forget to send him to work, and soon he will get more experience and simoleons.

hobby shop

Build a hobby shop and you can buy items for your characters to level up your career and get promoted faster. You can also buy other interesting gizmos in the hobby store.

Cars

Build a car park to buy cars for your characters. You can go on trips with cars to earn experience points.

Gardening

Gardening is a great way to earn Simoleons. Buy a Garden Plot from the Home Goods Store and place it on your Sim's Plot. Then touch the garden plot and select the seeds to plant. As you level up, more seeds will be available to you.

Bakery products

Baking is the same as gardening. Buy a stove from the Home Goods Store and place it in your Sim's home, then touch the stove and select a baking recipe. As you level up, more recipes will become available to you. But some dishes can burn, so cook them at your own risk!

Supermarket

Have you noticed that every time your Sim gardens or bakes, the right ingredients are delivered to their home? Because of this, the price is definitely higher! Build a supermarket and you can buy seeds and baking ingredients cheaper. A small organization will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Game tasks

After creating the first inhabitant of your city, complete the tasks offered by the game, which will bring additional profit, and also tell you what to do next. Tasks are of three types:

  • Single tasks performed in your city. To complete them, you need to perform one action. Completing these missions will reward you with Simoleons, XP, or Lifestyle Points (LP). Since version 5.0.0, completing a certain number of such tasks per week gives keys to prize boxes.
  • Groups of quests that can be completed in your city, for example: Mysterious Island, Coming of Age, Higher Education, Path to Glory, Great Ghost Escape. Such tasks consist of several single tasks. After completing a group of tasks, you will get the opportunity to build a new building (a bridge to a mysterious island, a high school), grow a teenager out of a student, or other special reward.
  • Single missions completed in the city of your neighbors, for which they give communication points.
  • Statue of the Ancient Goddess (if it is the maximum level) - Gives you the opportunity on Wednesday from 20:00 to 00:00 and Saturday from 21:00 to 00:00 Get free lifestyle points.

Characters

Game Characters

There are also other characters in the game (which are not created by the player, of course). They are added with each game update, and appear in various game tasks, main and special (holiday) tasks or game events. The interactions of these characters are limited and will only be available at the request of the objectives of the tasks of the game. All game characters such as Wumples, Osiris and Bree disappear after the quests of the game are successfully completed.
