Fallen card meaning. The value of playing cards in divination for predicting the future. Is it possible to guess on an incomplete deck

Fortune telling on ordinary cards and Tarot cards helps to understand the most difficult situations and enable them to predict the future. Professional fortunetellers are sure that each card has its own meaning.

In order to conduct a fortune-telling ceremony, it is necessary to carefully shuffle the deck and lay out the cards on the table in a certain way. Currently, there are many layout methods, and each fortune teller uses her own methods, preferring to listen to her own intuition.

The most accurate is divination on Tarot cards. Unfortunately, not everyone manages to master the secret of their use, and very often fortunetellers replace them with ordinary fortune-telling cards. In this case, it is important to understand that the deck should be intended only for these purposes. Maps that have already been used for gambling, are categorically not suitable for divination.

There are cases when, when laying out a deck, one or more cards fall out of it. Professional fortune tellers consider this a sign that you should definitely listen to. If a card falls out of the deck, do not try to put it back as soon as possible. There were cases when this sign was so symbolic that a person immediately received an answer to a question of interest to him and refused further fortune-telling.

The meaning of the cards that have fallen out of the deck, in the event that Tarot is used in divination, can only be explained by a specialist who is fluent in this technique. FROM regular cards everything is a little easier. A card of a heart suit that has fallen out of a common deck is considered a good sign. At the same time, the six of hearts can mean a fun road, seven - the upcoming fun, eight - pleasure, nine - a declaration of love, ten - news of love.

A fallen jack of hearts portends a meeting of a dear guest, a lady - an acquaintance with a married woman, a king - passion, and an ace - receiving a love letter. The six of clubs portends a date on the street, the seven - news of success, the eight - deceived hopes. If the dropped card turns out to be a nine or ten of clubs, then soon a person will receive a certain amount of money, and a lady or king can only mean a meeting with a friend or girlfriend.

The jack of clubs portends good luck in business, and the ace is a false rumor. The six of diamonds can mean a fun road, and the seven can mean hatred. The eight that fell out of the deck portends dissatisfaction with something, the nine is an obstacle, the ten is an expensive gift. The jack of diamonds means upcoming financial troubles, and the lady or king predicts an early acquaintance with her soulmate. An ace of this suit portends the receipt of an important letter.

Peaks are the most negative card suit. If just such a card falls out of the deck, this is a bad sign. The peak six portends an unhappy road, the seven - a quarrel, the eight - betrayal, the nine - the loss of a friend, and the ten - unfulfilled dreams. The jack of spades prophesies an unhappy road. This is a bad sign for those who are going on a trip. If it falls out of the deck queen of spades, this can only mean the appearance of a rival. The jack of spades prophesies the appearance of the worst enemy. An ace of this suit portends grief and trouble.

It should be noted that the above values of the cards are very conditional. In fact, each fortuneteller in her work can interpret this or that phenomenon in her own way. As a rule, this is based on innate intuition. If several cards fall out of the deck, their values should not be considered separately from each other. Everything is important in fortune-telling, including combinations of cards that have fallen out, which together can acquire a completely unexpected meaning.

The negative meaning of the cards should not be taken personally. It is important to remember that each person determines his own destiny, and the dropped card can only warn him against the wrong step.

Fortune telling is a popular method of predicting the future. Often, even people far from magic turn to him. To open the veil of your immediate fate, you need to know not only the methods of card divination, but also the meaning of the cards in fortune telling.

What is taken into account when interpreting the results of fortune-telling

Any fortune-telling on the cards comes down to obtaining a certain layout that will help predict the future of the fortuneteller or customer himself. When interpreting the results, several main parameters are taken into account:

  • the location of the cards;
  • combination of cards with each other;
  • belonging of the card to a certain suit.

The first thing that fortunetellers are guided by when deciphering the resulting alignment is the position of the dropped card:

  • direct location promises a favorable prognosis;
  • the inverted arrangement is given a negative meaning.

Particular attention is paid to the combinations that have fallen out: when combined with each other, the cards strengthen or weaken their meaning during divination.

One of the most important criteria is whether the drawn card belongs to one suit or another. Each suit is associated with one of the four key areas of human life and symbolizes one of the four natural elements:

  • Peaks - refers to all negative events that a person may encounter (problems, losses, failures, etc.). The element of the peak suit is Air.
  • Clubs (Cross) - associated with the sphere of power, finance and social status of a person. The element of the club suit is Fire.
  • Worms (Worms) - is associated with the sphere of emotions, feelings and relationships with people around. The element of the suit of hearts is Water.
  • Tambourines (Bubi) - responsible for questions and situations of a business nature, for any kind of vigorous activity, education and travel. The element of the diamond suit is the Earth.

When divining on playing cards, both a full deck of 52 sheets and an abbreviated one of 32 can be used. The most popular is the abbreviated version, so in this article we will consider those values of playing cards for divination that can fall out when using a deck of 36 cards.

Dropped cards:

SHARE

On the thematic forums dedicated to Tarot, I have often met discussions of a card missing from the deck. One or even several Arcana can easily be lost, especially if the tarologist is often on the road and carries his favorite deck with him. And it also happens that in the purchased deck one card is missing, or vice versa, repeated ones are mistakenly put. Should you be scared if you once missed one card? What can this mean and is it possible to guess on such an incomplete deck? Let's figure it out.

Why do cards disappear?

As I said, the most common is the banal loss of a card by the tarot reader himself: they took out cards somewhere, guessed, and then accidentally dropped one, or constantly dragged their favorite Tarot with them, for example, on vacation - and simply didn’t notice how they dropped some then Arkan.

The second reason is typographical marriage. Yes, yes, this sometimes happens - one card is missing in the deck. Personally, I had such a story when ordering Taro from China. I didn't count. When the seller sent me another deck, I laughed heartily, because this time the King of Wands was present, but now there was not enough.

The third reason for the loss of cards is quite mystical - they say that the Higher Forces specially take away a specific Arcana from you for a while in order to give you a certain sign in this way. I also met stories when the card was deliberately stolen by an ill-wisher who imagined himself to be a great magician and tried to put a curse on the tarot reader by using the stolen Arcana as his personal item, because, as you know, all sorts of damage very well "fall" on certain objects.

There is a popular version that the disappeared Arcana indicates something important - something that you need to pay attention to right now, or to those energies that are from your life in this moment leave. Take, for example, the missing one: you can say that this is either a sign to listen to your own intuition, or an indication that you are now moving away from your inner instinct, turning onto the wrong path. Gone? Wonderful! So, this is not the time to be tormented by bad thoughts! Disappeared without a trace? Something is wrong in the field of personal relationships, you need to think and somehow respond.

Personally, I'm not so superstitious, so I think that the missing card speaks primarily of the distraction and carelessness of the tarologist. After work, I always check whether all the cards have been removed, whether any have fallen under the table, and I do this anywhere - at home, at a party, on the road (I happened to guess a couple of times during the trip). After fortune-telling, I always put all the cards in boxes or bags and put them in a wooden box (if I guess at home). If I come from somewhere, I count the cards again, just in case. And I strongly advise you to do the same!

Is it possible to guess on an incomplete deck?

While reading the forums, I didn’t see any advice! And the fact that a deck without one card must be burned or buried in the ground, and that it is strictly forbidden to guess on it, and if you have already made a deal, and then noticed the loss - everything, seven years of misfortune is guaranteed. In fact, I think all this is just nonsense. Of course, it’s still impossible to fully guess on such a deck, but who prevents you from using, for example, the Major Arcana alone (if the lost one, of course, is not one of them)? Indeed, today there are many "older-arcan" - and these are quite full-fledged decks.

Aside from the Major Arcana idea, I see another way out of the situation: take an empty card, if it is in your deck's edition, and simply imbue it with the qualities of the missing Arcana. Yes, the picture on it, of course, will not appear from this, but the shirt will not differ from the rest of the cards, and you should know the meaning anyway.

If there is no empty card, then you can try to find the same deck on sale and just take it from it missing card. With this option, you will still have 77 spare Arcana, and you will not have to worry about new losses! But there are situations even worse: when the deck was rare or very expensive. There's nothing you can do about it - either we make 22 out of 78 cards, or we fork out for another copy, or we just leave this deck alone and work on another. How exactly to do - decide for yourself. By the way, for those who decided to be puzzled by the search for a similar deck, I recommend searching on Avito, on thematic forums and in tarot reading communities in in social networks- there are very often ads for buying, selling and exchanging decks. It is quite possible that you will be lucky and find a used copy at a reasonable price.

If you originally got a deck with a typographical marriage, it is better to exchange it before it's too late. At least in my case, the seller went along and returned the full cost of the deck without asking to send it back. And when I made a second order with him, he sent a copy where another card was missing. But I didn’t grieve too much - I just collected one from two decks, and left the rest of the cards as spares.

Have you ever had cases of missing Arcana? Answer in the comments, under what circumstances did this happen, did you manage to solve this problem, in what way?
