How to play together on PS4. Sharing games with a friend. Micro Machines World Series - Overwatch with cars. Mortal Kombat review how to play together on ps4

Game tested on PlayStation 4

For more than 10 years the series Micro Machines did not remind of itself, but the Codemasters studio that created it has repeatedly tried to return to these arcade rides with a view from above. Buying a license for the brand from Hasbro must have cost a lot of money, so Toybox Turbos, released a few years ago, had to be called that, even though it was an almost perfect successor to the ideas of “micromachines”. But now it's finally happened - Micro Machines is back on PC and consoles under its own name. However, the price that Codemasters had to pay for using the brand was, apparently, prohibitive.

⇡ And I'm so small

For some reason when creating new game the authors decided not so much to return to the roots of the series, but to add a bunch of "chips" from other popular projects of our time. Because of this, the World Series at the first launch reminds you that when you skim through the main menu, you notice quick matches, a rating mode, containers, and even “Special Races” (which could be called “Brawls”, what can we hide here). But no one explained to Codemasters that, with all due respect, it is far from Blizzard.

Let's make a reservation right away: there are no single player modes in the World Series. We will not take Skirmish into account - for a single player this is an almost useless option, since nothing really can be configured here, and experience is not issued to get new levels. The authors did not create any championships, tournaments or just races with different levels of difficulty. After going through a short tutorial, press Play Now, select the mode and go to have fun in multiplayer.

Although the online component can be called a single mode with a stretch, since not a single living soul has been there since the release of the new Micro Machines. Perhaps the situation is better on PC (although many negative reviews on Steam hints at a fair share of refunds), but on PS4 you can't find players in any mode, no matter what time of day you try to do it. The creators, foreseeing this, fill the empty slots with bots, but this, of course, is not a panacea.

There are three modes in the World Series. There are regular races where you need to overtake rivals, periodically using weapons scattered on the tracks. Fantasy was only enough to shoot with slowing down darts, destroying a hammer and a bomb with one blow, which slowly flies back and just as slowly explodes. Not without knockout races, where you need to go so far that all the opponents trailing behind will remain off the screen and explode.

The biggest emphasis is placed on the Battle mode, especially for which special skills were invented for each of the twelve cars. This is where copying Overwatch is in full swing. The monster truck can hook opponents like Roadhog. The garbage truck plays the role of Torbjorn - he sets up a turret that deals damage to all approaching enemies. And the spy machine is able to stun opponents and become invisible for a few seconds, like McCree and Sombra. In addition, each of them has his own weapon - someone shoots from a shotgun, someone has a machine gun or a laser, and the semblance of a snowplow even “spits” with freezing snowballs.

But that's not all - shooting at opponents and performing other actions in the arena, cars gradually fill up the bar of absolute ability. An ambulance will be able to resurrect fallen comrades, a tank will bombard a given point - of course, it’s not so easy to come up with something original, but there are a lot of similarities with the Blizzard shooter. However, there are exceptions - a fire engine, for example, repels and spins enemies with a strong jet of water, making it impossible for them to leave. We don’t remember this in other games - at least Codemasters was able to come up with something on their own!

⇡ The world always needs new heroes

Probably because of the need to endow each "character" with special skills, there are catastrophically few cars in the World Series. There are about three times less of them than in Toybox Turbos, and there are no boats from the original Micro Machines here. With the number of tracks, too, everything is bad - there are only ten of them (and even then one is literally copied from Toybox Turbos), and there are fifteen arenas. They are all well-drawn and boast fun elements like the kitchen table, where the cars rush across to smear the jam. The battle arenas are full of opportunities to eliminate enemies in special ways - pushing them towards the lawn mower in the garden, for example.

But the inability to fully see the arenas in Battle mode makes combat terribly uncomfortable. Yes, there is a mini-map in the corner where blue and red dots appear from time to time, representing teammates and opponents. However, in most cases, arenas are not banal squares, but full of trampolines, springboards, teleports, and other similar location objects. You experience even greater discomfort in those cases when you need to drag the flag from the enemy base to your own - at first you hardly understand where to go and what to do.

In ordinary races, you can close your eyes to this, since the circles are very short and the map is not really needed there - you remember many turns in a few minutes after getting to know the new track. But the way the cars in the World Series turn makes racing much harder than it should be. There is a feeling that we are sliding on any surface, as if on butter. Therefore, collisions with obstacles here every time you rejoice, because you will not fly out of the track and will not wait for a revival for several seconds. Over time, of course, it becomes easier to correctly calculate the speed and accurately enter each turn. But in general, physics does not get better from this.

So it turns out that in each mode certain shortcomings appear very quickly, spoiling the impression of the Micro Machines World Series. There are plenty of other problems too - as if there are not enough gameplay flaws! On consoles, the game plays at 30 frames per second, although it doesn't stand out graphically. Electronic music seems to be good, but there are very few compositions. Actors ... it's better not to talk about them at all - it's simply impossible to listen to them. Almost all components of the World Series are made anyhow, which ultimately leads to a spoiled mood and unwillingness to spend more than half an hour a day in the game.

Codemasters, of course, tried to give players reasons to return to the project again and again. To do this, a system of levels has been introduced - for the completion of each match, experience is issued (and for the first victory of the day, they are presented with double the amount). The rewards for the levels are containers that drop new lines, sprays, and skins (we're still talking about Micro Machines, yes) - the latter are traditionally divided into common, epic, and legendary. They really make a big difference appearance cars, and favorite "skins" will eventually be able to buy for virtual currency. There are no microtransactions (yet) in the game.

But you don't get any pleasure from this collection. Judging by what they saw, Hasbro really wanted to make their own version of Overwatch, and only on these terms did the corporation agree to give Codemasters the go-ahead to use their brand. However boring game process, low quality and absolutely empty online put a bold cross on this venture. A single mode with different championships and the same containers as prizes could have saved the situation, but either the budget was not enough, or the time, or the desire. Surely free updates will be able to partially fix the Micro Machines World Series, but why this game exists in its current form is completely incomprehensible.

Want to play with a friend but don't know how to connect a second controller to your PlayStation 4? Don't worry, everything is easy. Everyone can enable support for a second gamepad on the console - Sony has made the process convenient and easy. Our article is designed to help you figure out how to connect a second joystick to PS4.

In our guide, we will walk you through step by step how to connect your DualShock 4 to your console. Let's say right away that there are two ways - wired and wireless, via Bluetooth.

Method number 1. How to connect a joystick to PS4 via USB cable

If you do not have the original DualShock 4, but a controller from another manufacturer that connects only by wire, then follow these instructions:

    press the power button on the PS4 console to turn on the device;

    plug the other end of the wire from the PS4 controller into the USB port of the set-top box;

    press the PS button (or equivalent) on the gamepad and hold it for three seconds;

    your wired PS4 controller should now be connected to the console.

If your controller supports wireless, then follow these steps:

    turn on the PS4;

    connect the micro connector of the USB cable to the PS4 controller. The microUSB port is on the back of the device;

    connect the other end of your USB cable to the set-top box;

    press the PS button and keep it pressed for 3 seconds;

    the wireless controller should now be registered to the set-top box. You can unplug the USB cable and play wirelessly.

    this way you can register the second, third and fourth controllers on the set-top box. Use the same USB cable, repeat the above steps and link a new user to the controller on the main screen.

Method number 2. How to connect a joystick to PS4 wirelessly

If you want to connect a second controller to the set-top box but don't have a USB cable, you can still register the device. Follow these instructions:

    From the PS4 home screen, select Properties > Devices > Bluetooth Devices (using another DualShock 4 controller or remote control).

    on the controller you want to connect, hold down simultaneously SHARE and PS buttons for 10 seconds.

Hold the buttons marked with red frames

    look at the screen. The gamepad should appear in the list of available Bluetooth devices. Select it.

    that's it - your controller is now connected to the console. Enjoy the game!

Which PS4 controller to choose?

In this article, we will also tell you what kinds of DualShock 4 controllers are available on PS4. First of all, it is worth highlighting Crossfire gamepad by GearZ.

DualShock 4 Crossfire - the choice for professional gamers

This is a custom controller based on the original DualShock 4. The device is ideal for fans of online battles, as well as for those who want more convenient and responsive control in games. GearZ has been rebuilding gamepads for a long time, and the DualShock 4 Crossfire is one of them. best achievements. The gamepad differs from the original control device by the presence of petals on the back of the case. The petals are made of ABS plastic and are firmly attached to the body. Their main function is to duplicate the main buttons on the front side (all except L2, R2, OPTIONS, SHARE and PS). Convenience and ergonomics of the controller at its best - it lies perfectly in the hands.

The convenience of the controller is difficult to overestimate both in single projects and in network battles. So, on the petals, you can assign the functions of jumping or running from the face buttons. In games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Destiny, and many more, it greatly improves the efficiency of the game. Now you do not need to rush your fingers around the gamepad in search of the desired button - they are always under the palm of your hand.

You may want to purchase a controller in a different color. Nobody argues - the design of the original DualShock 4 is very stylish, and the device immediately attracts attention with its elegance and minimalistic beauty. However, not all gamers like black. DualShock 4 gamepads come in a variety of colors. Unique in its kind Bloody Mary gamepad from PiterPlay store will make you stand out as a gamer when you play with your friends. The case of the gamepad effectively shimmers in the light, and the bright red color justifies the stylish name. The controller has a soft-touch coating, and during the game it is simply pleasant to hold it in your hands.

Bloody Mary from PiterPlay - a triumph of style and convenience

The plastic face buttons of the controller have been replaced with metal ones in the style of the Lueger bullets in this version. The aluminum cross will also last longer than conventional plastic. Bloody Mary is the choice for gamers who value style and quality first of all in accessories.

On the Internet in recent times there is a lot of information about the PS4 hack, but often these reports are a "duck".However, there is one way to play games for free on the console. We must say right away that it is rather difficult to do this, and our article is more of a fact-finding character. From this text you will learn whether it is worth flashing the PS4 and how the firmware works.

Generally speaking, the DualShock 4 controller is very well built and the need to repair it is usually rare. If you need to change the appearance of the controller or change the part inside, then in this article we will tell you in detail how to disassemble the DualShock 4 controller.

Recently, complaints began to appear on the network about the inability to connect to PSN. For some, the network is intermittent, others cannot connect to the Sony server at all, while the status status shows that all services are working normally. In all likelihood, the problem lies in the recent attempt by Roskomnadzor to block the Telegram messenger. In this article, we'll show you how to bypass the PSN ban, as well as the reason why PSN doesn't work for some players.

Now few people will remember, but back in 1993 on super nintendo and Sega Mega Drive isometric racing arcade released Rock n' Roll Racing from Blizzard. Tiny cars with huge wheels circled the bizarre arenas, trying, if not to overtake opponents, then at least to push them off the track. Or blow it to hell.

Despite its simplicity, this game dragged on for many hours and gathered around the pot-bellied TV whole crowds of popping sunflower seeds and sipping Pepsi-Cola boys, ready to literally fight for a place in line for the controller. Perhaps the thing is that the “Metelitsa magic”, which turns each of their projects into a masterpiece, was already working then. Or was it the chic soundtrack, consisting of rock songs? Or maybe it's just that we were more impressionable, who knows ...

Be that as it may, it draws inspiration from Rock n’ Roll Racing - this is also an isometric racing arcade game about different tiny cars. Here they race around the gardens around flower pots and garden gnomes, cut circles around the sawmill or try not to fall into the syrup spilled on the table after some drunken party.

There are several game modes in it: simple races, knockout races, a fight for a dozen players, in which participants are offered battles in the King of the Hill format, and something like capture the flag in reverse, where you need to bring a ticking bomb to the enemy base to win.

There are 12 cars in the game and each can play a specific role: an ambulance - to heal, a spy - to become invisible, a snowmobile - to throw snowballs, and a tank - just to be a tank.

In the classic roundabout races, all cars lose their unique abilities and instead can pick up various power-ups scattered around the track.

The tracks are tiny: you can ride all five laps in two or three minutes. It's lousy, because almost all the tracks that are in the World Series, Codemasters dragged into the game from Toybox Turbos, making only minor changes to them.

All this is infinitely great, but in practice it is quite difficult to do car tricks: the controls in the game, to put it mildly, are not very responsive. Cars skid very often and very strongly: you can easily fly off the track from an opponent’s light push or simply not fit into the turn. And then get under the circular saw blade or drown in ice cream. Together with the chaos that often happens in the arenas, you can safely forget about some tactics and just adapt to the situation.

It is for this reason that the outcome of the race often depends not so much on your ability to competently enter turns, but on luck, which likes to turn in a soft place at the most inopportune moment.

Codemasters is trying to show the ability to play four on one screen as a strong point - and rightly so, given the empty network mode, in which you can wait for a “live” opponent for several minutes. But the technical execution is lame: we were going to four noses in front of one TV, which on some tracks led to a noticeable loss in frame rate. The game could easily forgive this, but the picture in it is rather primitive and, in theory, should not heavily load the graphics chips of consoles.

An aggravating circumstance is the lack of a full-fledged single-player campaign, or at least something similar to it, which forces players to seek solace in endless races against silicon. To be fair, it should be noted that the local artificial intelligence very good and shows itself on the tracks much better than most of the players we met.

Despite all the shortcomings, it is very interesting game, which is sure to please most fans of the "old school". This is a project with a good heart that is sincerely trying to be something more than it is. The only pity is that in 2017 there are completely different quality standards, and you won’t go far on ambitions and bright colors. That is why it becomes a victim of its own ambitions, and everything good that is in this game will turn into dust even before you find an opponent for online play.

Do you remember the golden days when Rock "n" Roll Racing seemed to be the most beautiful game in the world? Would love to hear your stories from those times!

Today, two things haunt many people: the success of some remasters and the glory of the Rocket League. Most likely, more and more “returns” from childhood can be expected on this wave. Here, for example, Codemasters with Hasbro, releasing new part Micro Machines. Let's figure out whether this game is worthy of encroaching on our childhood memories, or not all classics that put pressure on nostalgia. .ba-slider ( position: relative; overflow: hidden; margin: 40px auto; ) .ba-slider img ( width: 100%; display: block; ) .resize ( position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; height: 100%; width: 50%; overflow: hidden; ) .handle ( /* Thin line seperator */ position: absolute; left: 50%; top: 0; bottom: 0; width: 4px; margin-left: -2px;background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); cursor: ew-resize; ) 0 -24px; content: "\21d4"; color: #34495e; font-weight: bolder; font-size: 24px; text-align: center; line-height: 48px; background: white; border: 2px solid #34495e ; border-radius: 50%; transition: all 0.3s ease; text-shadow: 0 1px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.4); ) .draggable:after ( width: 36px; height: 36px; margin: - 18px 0 0 -18px; line-height: 36px; font-size: 20px; ) window.onload = function()( // Call & init $(document).ready(function()( $(".ba-slider ").each(function()( v arcur = $(this); // Adjust the slider var width = cur.width()+"px"; cur.find(".resize img").css("width", width); // Bind dragging events drags(cur.find(".handle"), cur.find(".resize"), cur); )); )); // Update sliders on resize. // Because we all do this: i.imgur.com/YkbaV.gif $(window).resize(function()( $(".ba-slider").each(function()( var cur = $(this ); var width = cur.width()+"px"; cur.find(".resize img").css("width", width); )); )); function drags(dragElement, resizeElement, container) ( // Initialize the dragging event on mousedown. dragElement.on("mousedown touchstart", function(e) ( dragElement.addClass("draggable"); resizeElement.addClass("resizable") ; // Check if it"s a mouse or touch event and pass along the correct value var startX = (e.pageX) ? e.pageX: e.originalEvent.touches.pageX; // Get the initial position var dragWidth = dragElement. outerWidth(), posX = dragElement.offset().left + dragWidth - startX, containerOffset = container.offset().left, containerWidth = container.outerWidth(); // Set limits minLeft = containerOffset + 10; maxLeft = containerOffset + containerWidth - dragWidth - 10; // Calculate the dragging distance on mousemove. dragElement.parents().on("mousemove touchmove", function(e) ( // Check if it"s a mouse or touch event and pass along the correct value var moveX = (e.pageX) ? e.pageX: e.originalEvent.touches.pageX; leftValue = moveX + posX - dragWidth; // Prevent going off limits if (leftValue maxLeft) ( leftValue = maxLeft; ) // Translate the handle"s left value to masked divs width. widthValue = (leftValue + dragWidth/2 - containerOffset)*100/containerWidth+"%"; // set the new values for the slider and the handle. // Bind mouseup events to stop dragging. $(".draggable").css("left", widthValue).on("mouseup touchend touchcancel", function () ( $(this).removeClass("draggable"); resizeElement.removeClass("resizable"); )); $(".resizable").css("width", widthValue); ))on("mouseup touchend touchcancel", function()( dragElement.removeClass("draggable"); resizeElement.removeClass("resizable"); )); e.preventDefault(); ))on("mouseup touchend touchcancel", function(e)( dragElement.removeClass("draggable"); resizeElement.removeClass("resizable"); )); ) );

Do you remember such a game on Sega - Micro Machines? We remember. Do you remember how they played it, driving toy cars, boats and tanks on tables, yards and puddles? We remember. And everything was so beautiful, sweet and lamp. And then there were many more parts, and then 2017 came and Codemasters released the Micro Machines World Series. And we played it.

Question: Why?

Of course, all of us in Russia know these same “Micro Machines”, which is why we played the game with such passion. Not really. We didn’t even have such cars, we played iron ones. In the past, everything was iron. And the race was just good, it lured with a competitive element and it was possible to play together.

But will we get the same excitement from the 2017 game? Good question.

Those "micro-machines". Lovely ones, right?

Graphics - well, so

Yes, we are probably nitpicking, but it feels like we were given a version from mobile devices (it came out last year, it really looks like it - look). The PlayStation 2 version looked even better, at least there were drivers for each car. It's just soulless pieces of plastic. But still cute soulless pieces of plastic, yes.

And here's a thing in the spirit of "expectations - reality":

Critically few micro-machines

A game about micro-cars, and there are only 12 of them in the game. Twelve. And everything is here. The rest is skins of cars, replicas of drivers and tombstones.

For comparison: in mobile version games 2,525 cars.

Question: where are the other 2,513 cars?

There are also few tracks and weapons. At the same time, the Nerf logo proudly flaunts everywhere. Everything is clear, what is already there.

There are loot boxes

Seriously? The game is dominated by a loot box system: you earn a level and get a coveted reward, opening which you get skins for 12 cars, tombstones, replicas and game currency. Leveling of the century, nothing to say. That would be the way to do it now in an easy arcade race about plastic cars.

We hope that the guys from Reddit will calculate how many game currency you will need to earn to open everything in the game for all cars. But seriously, who in their right mind would do this?

Game with bots

When you race Micro Machines World Series, you get the impression that you are playing For Honor. In a predominantly multiplayer game, there are simply no people. Starting a match, the World Series, purely out of courtesy, is looking for your associates in misfortune, and then throws you to the bots.

In a few hours of playing, I have never traveled with real people. And there, after all, there is still a system of divisions and ranks.

It’s a common thing, it’s good at least the names of the bots are different (and familiar from childhood)

And here's a typical fight with bots. Captivating, isn't it?

Very responsive controls

No comment. I, of course, consider myself quite clumsy, but here it was too difficult for me to cope with a small toy car. It felt like from time to time the gamepad was pulled out of my hands by a drunk carrier and started playing tricks without my knowledge. Difficult, extremely unresponsive, and because of this unplayable.

Almost everyone looks like this game situations. Interestingly, the bots drive just flawlessly.

Skirmish or Hot Chair mode

Because after several hours of such a game, this very hot chair will definitely be under you. It's nice that you can play with four of your friends on the same screen, but where can you find three more of the same risky guys?

When you are tired of playing with bots, and all your friends are adequate

Yes, even if you have friends. And when they find out that you are playing this, you will not have them in an instant.

And yet, "Why?"

"The first Micro Cars were released on early consoles in 1991." Thanks for the tip

I really don't like to say that about games, but it's bad. Why did the World Series come out in such and such a form? Neither the pressure on nostalgia, nor the cute graphics can save the Micro Machines World Series. It is boring, impossible to play, especially with bots. And there are no other options.

The conclusion is simple: play better than the original on the Sega Mega Drive.

Description

Despite the prefix "micro" in the title, the game comes on one DVD and after installation takes up about one and a half gigabytes on the hard drive.

After downloading MicroMachines, you should start your profile - without it, like without a passport - nowhere.

After climbing through the settings, adjust the camera view (dynamic or classic), if you have a trendy 16:9 screen, turn on the "Wide screen" option.

The settings for the graphics component (and first of all, of course, the anti-aliasing parameters) are made in advance, in the control panel of your video card drivers (ATI Catalyst or ForceWare). You will not find such settings inside the game itself.

As for the control: both the keyboard and all kinds of joysticks are supported. In the case of the keyboard, the following set is basic: cursor keys (responsible for "gas", "brake", turns left and right) plus three additional keys: A (use the selected bonus), S (cancel the current bonus), D (beep - klaxon).

The game initially closed most of the cards (levels) and cars that you can choose from. At the very beginning of the game, the information screen notifies you of the current availability of 25 cars (out of 750) and the absence of completed competitions (out of the available 76).

Game process

The gameplay in the case of a single-player passage is as follows: two, three or four cars compete on the track. All machines have different characteristics: Speed, Acceleration, Traction and Mass.

They affect the behavior of the racing car on the road. More precisely, artificially laid on the interior of the house (or other building) track. Dear, all these attics, stoves and fans can be called a stretch ...

So, you will fight the track (obstacles located on it) and your rivals - mini-cars. In the skirmish mode - as soon as one of the cars significantly breaks ahead (the advantage is the full game screen) - it wins the set (and another colored dot lights up in the status panel). At the same time, the car that turned out to be the last one in the back of the field at the time of the local win has a colored dot from the current treasury of victories.

In total, you need to dial eight dots in your status line. You can ignore bonuses, focusing on the track, or you can pick up various things that help eliminate an opponent or improve your parameters (primarily health). You can eliminate competitors with the help of missiles (homing and conventional), machine gun, plasma gun, scattered mines (in the form of dice), electrical discharges (very effective method, recommended for desperate crush). You can also improve your health with the help of bonus pills or heart tokens.

Health should be monitored especially carefully. The health bar (progress bar) decreases from the malicious influence of your enemies. As soon as the green bar is used up, the progress bar turns yellow, and visually, the wheel of your car falls off - the movement along the track noticeably slows down. You should immediately look for a "health pill" or a token with a heart. If you are "finished off" and the strip turns red, then there is almost no chance of survival. Although your car stays on track and may go slowly, the competitor will quickly go off the edge of the screen and be awarded a local win of the set.

After winning the current race of the championship (or in the championship itself), you will be rewarded - they open new cars or even sets of cars.

After winning the championship, a new tournament opens. Personally, I stalled at the last race of the second championship. You are given a bus, noticeably losing in speed to rivals. As a result, they begin to “rivet” local victories one after another, and it is not clear what to do in such a situation. You cannot change the bus to a faster vehicle in the game. I will attribute this alignment to a flaw in the game balance.

In general, there are three difficulty levels in the game: Low, Medium and High. I tried all three and, to be honest, I did not see a serious difference :). Although, at the lowest difficulty level in the first one-on-one races, it becomes noticeable that the computer sometimes slows down its car, allowing you to catch up with itself. But this only applies to one-on-one races, but when there are three or more cars on the track, don't expect any concessions even at the lowest difficulty level...

Multiplayer mode

Without a doubt, the MicroMachines v4 game is focused primarily on the multiplayer mode. Against the background of a single-player passage (racing with a computer) - multiplayer looks noticeably more advantageous. You can play both over the network (local or Internet), and together, three, four at one computer. In this case, each player must choose their own, pre-created profile. In short, it turns out a real family product.

You can play for fun or for cars. You can select two modes. The first is the passage of the track (who will pass a given number of laps faster).

The second is a fight, when the scheme already described above is in effect: who will be the first to break away game screen, he wins the set and receives a colored point on the victory scale (whoever scores eight points becomes the winner).

An important point - if you wish, you can add computer bot players to your rides. If you have access to the Internet, you search for current game servers launched by other players, or create your own own game while waiting for other users. From my own experience, I will say that in MicroMachines v4, at certain intervals, it is not always possible to find a cocked by someone game server, so it's better to agree in advance with friends to drive cars over the network. When creating a server, you can specify the gameplay settings.

For example, choose the already mentioned modes (battle or full-fledged ring race), the presence of bonuses and, of course, the route itself (a specific route).

After passing the race, its participants are awarded points that are stored in the results table.

Conclusion

MicroMachines v4 leaves the impression of a product focused primarily on a multiplayer game. And it's not so important - over the network or together, three of us at one computer. If you play with friends, the cornerstone will be the use of bonuses scattered on the track, as well as overcoming various non-trivial obstacles (like a moving train, crab claws ready to grab you, working clippers, hot stove burners, etc.).

The single-player mode is less interesting, although those who want to go through all the championships and get the full lineup of the collection of cars will find something to do. Moreover, the passage opens up new routes. On the other hand, you can create your own track, and those who like to customize everything for themselves can build their own "Nürburgring in the attic".

There are no complaints about the localization of the game - I personally did not find any errors or typos. The musical arrangement is light and not particularly memorable, the background music is not distracting at all - it just is, and that's it. The sound component is also completely ordinary, except for the rumbling sounds of the engines of small cars.

Summarizing - we get moderately cute, but simple to the marrow of the bones, arcade racing - a tool for having fun with friends or accidentally discovered network users. One more fact should be noted - not too high system requirements allow you to cover a large audience of potential players.

P.S. If you want to play MicroMachines v4 by local network(for example, at home on two computers) - you only need one disc with the game. Install MicroMachines v4 on both systems and after successfully loading the game on one computer - pull out the disc and start racing on the second system.
