Why does the medal of honor game start? Medal of Honor: Allied Assault won't launch? Is the game slow? Crashes? Buggy? Solving the most common problems. MoH:AA is slow. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Solution

Unfortunately, games have flaws: stutters, low FPS, crashes, freezes, bugs and other minor and not so minor errors. Often problems begin even before the game starts, when it does not install, does not load, or does not even download. And the computer itself sometimes does weird things, and then in Medal of Honor (2010) there’s a black screen instead of a picture, the controls don’t work, you can’t hear the sound or anything else.

What to do first

  1. Download and run the world famous CCleaner(download via direct link) - this is a program that will clean your computer of unnecessary garbage, as a result of which the system will work faster after the first reboot;
  2. Update all drivers on the system using the program Driver Updater(download via direct link) - it will scan your computer and update all drivers to the latest version in 5 minutes;
  3. Install Advanced System Optimizer(download via direct link) and enable game mode in it, which will end useless background processes while launching games and improve performance in the game.

System requirements Medal of Honor (2010)

The second thing to do if you encounter any problems with Medal of Honor (2010) is to check the system requirements. In a good way, you need to do this before purchasing, so as not to regret the money spent.

Medal of Honor (2010) minimum system requirements:

Windows XP, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 Gb RAM, 9 Gb HDD, nVidia GeForce 7800 256 Mb

Every gamer should have at least a little understanding of components, know why a video card, processor and other things are needed in the system unit.

Files, drivers and libraries

Almost every device in a computer requires a set of special software. These are drivers, libraries and other files that ensure the correct operation of the computer.

You should start with the drivers for your video card. Modern graphic cards are produced only by two large companies - Nvidia and AMD. Having found out which product drives the coolers in the system unit, we go to the official website and download the latest driver package:

A prerequisite for the successful operation of Medal of Honor (2010) is the availability of the latest drivers for all devices in the system. Download the utility Driver Updater to easily and quickly download the latest drivers and install them with one click:

If Medal of Honor (2010) does not start, we recommend that you try disabling your antivirus or putting the game in antivirus exceptions, and also check again for compliance system requirements and if something from your assembly does not correspond, then, if possible, improve your PC by purchasing more powerful components.

In Medal of Honor (2010) black screen, white screen, color screen. Solution

Problems with screens of different colors can be divided into 2 categories.

Firstly, they often involve using two video cards at once. For example, if your motherboard has a built-in video card, but you play on a discrete one, then Medal of Honor (2010) may run for the first time on the built-in one, but you will not see the game itself, because the monitor is connected to a discrete video card.

Secondly, color screens occur when there are problems with displaying images on the screen. This can happen for various reasons. For example, Medal of Honor (2010) cannot work through an outdated driver or does not support the video card. Also black/ White screen may be displayed when running at resolutions that are not supported by the game.

Medal of Honor (2010) crashes. At a specific or random moment. Solution

You play for yourself, play and then - bam! - everything goes out, and now you have a desktop in front of you without any hint of a game. Why is this happening? To solve the problem, you should try to figure out what the nature of the problem is.

If the departure occurs in random moment time without any pattern, then with a 99% probability we can say that this is a mistake in the game itself. In this case, it is very difficult to fix something, and the best thing to do is just put Medal of Honor (2010) aside and wait for the patch.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash. In addition, you can download the Medal of Honor (2010) save and bypass the departure location.

Medal of Honor (2010) freezes. The picture freezes. Solution

The situation is approximately the same as with crashes: many freezes are directly related to the game itself, or rather to the developer’s mistake when creating it. However, often a frozen picture can become a starting point for investigating the deplorable state of a video card or processor.

So if the picture in Medal of Honor (2010) freezes, then use programs to display statistics on component loading. Perhaps your video card has long exhausted its working life or the processor is heating up to dangerous temperatures?

The easiest way to check the load and temperatures for the video card and processors is in the MSI Afterburner program. If you wish, you can even display these and many other parameters on top of the Medal of Honor (2010) picture.

What temperatures are dangerous? Processors and video cards have different operating temperatures. For video cards they are usually 60-80 degrees Celsius. For processors it is slightly lower - 40-70 degrees. If the processor temperature is higher, then you should check the condition of the thermal paste. It may have already dried out and needs to be replaced.

If the video card is heating up, then you should use a driver or an official utility from the manufacturer. It is necessary to increase the number of revolutions of the coolers and check whether the operating temperature decreases.

Medal of Honor (2010) is slow. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Solution

If there are slowdowns and low frame rates in Medal of Honor (2010), the first thing to do is lower the graphics settings. Of course, there are many of them, so before reducing everything, it’s worth finding out exactly how certain settings affect performance.

Screen resolution. In short, this is the number of points that make up the game picture. The higher the resolution, the higher the load on the video card. However, the increase in load is insignificant, so you should reduce the screen resolution only as a last resort, when everything else no longer helps.

Texture quality. Typically, this setting determines the resolution of texture files. The texture quality should be reduced if the video card has a small amount of video memory (less than 4 GB) or if you are using a very old hard drive with a spindle speed of less than 7200.

Model quality(sometimes just detailing). This setting determines which set of 3D models will be used in the game. The higher the quality, the more polygons. Accordingly, high-poly models require more processing power from the video card (not to be confused with the amount of video memory!), which means this parameter should be reduced on video cards with low core or memory frequencies.

Shadows. They are implemented in different ways. In some games, shadows are created dynamically, that is, they are calculated in real time at every second of the game. Such dynamic shadows load both the processor and the video card. For optimization purposes, developers often abandon full rendering and add pre-rendered shadows to the game. They are static, because essentially they are just textures overlaid on top of the main textures, which means they load memory, and not the video card core.

Often developers add additional settings related to shadows:

  • Shadow Resolution - Determines how detailed the shadow cast by an object will be. If the game has dynamic shadows, it loads the video card core, and if a pre-created render is used, then it “eats” the video memory.
  • Soft shadows - smooths out unevenness in the shadows themselves, usually this option is given along with dynamic shadows. Regardless of the type of shadows, it loads the video card in real time.

Smoothing. Allows you to get rid of ugly corners on the edges of objects through the use of a special algorithm, the essence of which usually comes down to generating several images at once and comparing them, calculating the most “smooth” picture. There are many different anti-aliasing algorithms that differ in the level of impact on the performance of Medal of Honor (2010).

For example, MSAA works head-on, creating 2, 4 or 8 renders at once, so the frame rate is reduced by 2, 4 or 8 times, respectively. Algorithms like FXAA and TAA work a little differently, achieving a smooth image by calculating only the edges and using some other tricks. Thanks to this, they do not reduce performance as much.

Lighting. As with anti-aliasing, there are different algorithms for lighting effects: SSAO, HBAO, HDAO. They all use video card resources, but they do it differently depending on the video card itself. The fact is that the HBAO algorithm was promoted mainly on video cards from Nvidia (GeForce line), so it works best on “green” ones. HDAO, on the contrary, is optimized for video cards from AMD. SSAO is the simplest type of lighting, it consumes the least resources, so in case of slowdowns in Medal of Honor (2010), it is worth switching to it.

What to reduce first? Shadows, anti-aliasing and lighting effects tend to take the most work, so these are the best places to start.

Gamers often have to do the optimization of Medal of Honor (2010) themselves. Almost all major releases have various related forums where users share their ways to improve productivity.

One of them is a special program called Advanced System Optimizer. It is made specifically for those who do not want to manually clean their computer of various temporary files, delete unnecessary registry entries and edit the startup list. Advanced System Optimizer does this for you and also analyzes your computer to find ways to improve performance in apps and games.

Medal of Honor (2010) lags. Large delay when playing. Solution

Many people confuse “brakes” with “lags,” but these problems have completely different causes. Medal of Honor (2010) slows down when the frame rate at which the image is displayed on the monitor decreases, and lags when the delay when accessing the server or any other host is too high.

That is why “lags” can only occur in network games. The reasons are different: bad network code, physical distance from servers, network congestion, incorrectly configured router, low Internet connection speed.

However, the latter happens least often. In online games, communication between client and server occurs through the exchange of relatively short messages, so even 10 MB per second should be enough.

Medal of Honor (2010) has no sound. Can not hear anything. Solution

Medal of Honor (2010) works, but for some reason does not sound - this is another problem that gamers face. Of course, you can play like this, but it’s still better to figure out what’s going on.

First you need to determine the scale of the problem. Where exactly is there no sound - only in the game or even on the computer? If only in a game, then perhaps this is due to the fact that the sound card is very old and does not support DirectX.

If there is no sound at all, then the problem is definitely in the computer settings. Perhaps the sound card drivers are installed incorrectly, or maybe there is no sound due to some specific error in our beloved Windows OS.

Controls don't work in Medal of Honor (2010). Medal of Honor (2010) does not recognize mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Solution

How to play if it is impossible to control the process? Problems with supporting specific devices are inappropriate here, because we are talking about familiar devices - a keyboard, mouse and controller.

Thus, errors in the game itself are practically excluded; the problem is almost always on the user's side. You can solve it in different ways, but, one way or another, you will have to contact the driver. Usually, when you connect a new device, the operating system immediately tries to use one of the standard drivers, but some models of keyboards, mice and gamepads are incompatible with them.

Thus, you need to find out the exact model of the device and try to find its driver. Devices from well-known gaming brands often come with their own software packages, since the standard Windows driver simply cannot ensure the correct operation of all functions of a particular device.

If you don’t want to search for drivers for all devices separately, you can use the program Driver Updater. It is designed to automatically search for drivers, so you only need to wait for the scan results and download the necessary drivers in the program interface.

Often Medal of Honor (2010) brakes can be caused by viruses. In this case, it makes no difference how powerful the video card is in the system unit. You can scan your computer and clean it of viruses and other unwanted software using special programs. For example NOD32. The antivirus has proven itself to be the best and has been approved by millions of users around the world.

ZoneAlarm is suitable for both personal use and small businesses, capable of protecting your computer with operating system Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP from any attacks: phishing, viruses, malware, spyware and other cyber threats. New users are given a 30-day free trial.

Nod32 is an antivirus from ESET, which has received many awards for its contribution to security development. Versions of anti-virus programs are available on the developer’s website for both PCs and mobile devices; a 30-day trial version is provided. There are special conditions for business.

Medal of Honor (2010), downloaded from a torrent, does not work. Solution

If the game distribution was downloaded via torrent, then in principle there can be no guarantees of operation. Torrents and repacks are almost never updated through official applications and do not work over the network, because in the process of hacking, hackers cut out all network functions from games, which are often used to verify the license.

Using such versions of games is not only inconvenient, but even dangerous, because very often many files in them have been changed. For example, to bypass protection, pirates modify the EXE file. At the same time, no one knows what else they do with it. Perhaps they embed self-executing software. For example, when the game is first launched, it will integrate into the system and use its resources to ensure the well-being of hackers. Or, giving access to the computer to third parties. There are no guarantees here and cannot be.

In addition, the use pirated versions- this, according to our publication, is theft. The developers spent a lot of time creating the game, investing their own money in the hope that their brainchild would pay off. And every work must be paid.

Therefore, if any problems arise with games downloaded from torrents or hacked using one or another means, you should immediately remove the pirated version, clean your computer using an antivirus and licensed copy games. This will not only protect you from dubious software, but will also allow you to download updates for the game and receive official support from its creators.

Medal of Honor (2010) gives an error that the DLL file is missing. Solution

As a rule, problems associated with missing DLLs arise when launching Medal of Honor (2010), but sometimes the game can access certain DLLs during the process and, not finding them, crash in the most blatant manner.

To fix this error, you need to find the required DLL and install it on the system. The easiest way to do this is using the program DLL-fixer, which scans the system and helps quickly find missing libraries.

If your problem turns out to be more specific or the method outlined in this article did not help, then you can ask other users in our “” section. They will help you quickly!

One Man's War

Victory is not done at the headquarters of the commander-in-chief or in the officer headquarters. Victory is won at the cost of the lives of hundreds of thousands of ordinary soldiers. Pilots, tank crews, technicians and sailors. But the main victory is achieved only at the cost of the casualties of ordinary infantry, endlessly exhausted thousands and thousands ordinary people, huddling in the trenches under continuous mortar fire. Countless millions of government-issued rifles and crumpled field flasks... On the general plans they are just numbers on blue arrows indicating the direction of counterattacks, cannon fodder. But individually they are heroes, every single one of them. Can one person seriously influence the course of an entire war? Can a simple soldier change history? Yes, if such a soldier is you.

Management

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - a typical 3D first-person shooter, so if you have already dealt with games of this genre, then the general game process and the interface will not cause you any particular difficulties in mastering.

Interface

The game interface consists of the following main parts:

1. Game screen, where the main events take place.

2. A compass that allows you to navigate the cardinal directions. The arrow on the compass indicates the direction to the next object that we need to visit during the mission, and two dots on the sides show the distance to it. When the points move close to the arrow, we are almost next to the object.

3. Life energy scale. 100 - you are absolutely healthy, 0 - respectively, not. Life is replenished with the help of travel first aid kits, which can be found throughout the level or removed from the bodies of killed enemies.

4. Information about the current weapon. Just below the name of the gun that you are holding in your hands, there are two numbers “a/b”, where “a” is the number of cartridges in the magazine, and “b” is the total number of cartridges for this type of weapon. To ensure you are always in full combat readiness, do not forget to reload your weapon during rare moments of calm on the battlefield.

5. Items you carry with you. Conventional symbols in the upper-right part of the screen indicate whether you have a walkie-talkie, explosive packages, secret documents and other items that may be needed during a combat mission.

Weapon

All guns available in the game are divided into seven main categories, including both American and German weapon models.

Pistols

The most primitive weapon, effective only in close combat, and then only on the condition that you have run out of ammunition for the rest of the barrels. In some missions there are also pistols with silencers, necessary for silently eliminating enemies and thereby maintaining the required “secrecy” of the operation. If you run out of cartridges for the pistol, then by pressing the right mouse button, you can hit it backhand, grabbing the gun by the handle.

Rifles

The two main types of rifles are infantry and sniper. The former are distinguished by good shooting accuracy, but their disadvantages include “soldered” magazines, that is, you can reload the rifle only after shooting all the cartridges. Sniper rifles take a very long time to reload, but have colossal destructive power, and right button The mouse switches to zoom mode, allowing you to shoot the enemy at a great distance.

Slot machines

Of course, the most popular weapon in the entire game. They reload quickly, have the highest rate of fire and are universal in use. Of course, when shooting at long distances you feel a noticeable spread, however best weapons to cope with large concentrations of the enemy simply does not exist in the game.

Shotguns

Shotguns are the most powerful melee weapon, completely useless at long ranges. One round from a shotgun, fired into the head or chest area, takes any opponent out of the game, regardless of the degree of his “armor”. It has two significant drawbacks - there are only five rounds in the magazine, and the reload speed leaves much to be desired.

Grenades

An excellent thing for “smoking out” enemies hiding in ambush or taking a convenient defensive position from their hiding places. There are two modes of throwing grenades: normal, when the grenade flies far along a long trajectory, and alternative (using the right mouse button) - throwing a grenade over a relatively short distance. The latter mode is extremely convenient for throwing grenades indoors and destroying the enemy in narrow corridors.

Grenade launchers

The weapon has an extremely specific use: it is used to destroy enemy armored vehicles and is used no more than three or four times during the game. Due to the record-long reloading period, firing from a grenade launcher should only be done after hiding in a reliable shelter.

Other items

This category includes airstrike-guided binoculars (you need to catch the desired target exactly in the middle of the lens and press the “shot” button), fake passports in the names of German officers, which need to be presented to patrols in some missions, and other specific items, more detailed description which you can find in the following walkthrough.

Remember that Medal of Honor practices so-called head-shooting, that is, hitting the enemy’s chest or head (unless the latter is protected by a helmet) leads to his immediate death.

When they see a grenade thrown at them, the Nazis forget about shooting and run away in different directions, covering their heads with their hands. Use this game nuance when clearing dense enemy defense lines - throw a grenade into a well-guarded corridor, follow it out and shoot the enemies scattering in the corners.

The fighters behind the heavy machine guns are your most dangerous opponents. If you are caught in the crossfire of two such machine guns, then there is practically no chance of escape. Try to notice the adversaries from afar and take them out from a safe distance using a sniper rifle. Remember also that, having eliminated the shooter, you yourself can easily take a place behind the machine gun. Use this to destroy opposing advancing enemy forces.

If machine gun or rifle (but not sniper!) fire catches you in an open field, immediately lie down and try to determine the direction of fire. Hitting you in this position is twice as difficult.

After receiving wounds, some opponents do not die, but fall stunned to the floor (reclining, slightly raised on their elbow). Immediately finish off such shell-shocked ones, otherwise after a while they will get up and attack you again.

And the last piece of advice is to be careful. There is no need, upon seeing hordes of fascists, to immediately rush into the very thick of the enemy, destroying everyone and everything. Be smart: hide around a corner, a box or the nearest boulder, eliminate a couple of guards with a sniper rifle, and then, switching to the machine gun, sit in your shelter, waiting for the others to arrive. A little cunning, just a little military ingenuity - and victory is already in your pocket.

Walkthrough

Saved files for all missions

In the directory with installed game On the path /main/save, create a subdirectory “unnamedsoldier”. Unzip the file with your saved games there and load it through the “Load/Save” item in the main menu of the game. The files are recorded from the beginning of each of the six missions of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Have a good game!

Mission 1 - Lighting the Torch

Rangers Lead the Way

Our war begins on the Algerian coast, in the back of an army truck carrying a platoon of Rangers along the coast. At one of the German checkpoints, a sentry discovers forged documents and raises the alarm. Jump after your comrades from the truck and shoot at everything that moves (and wears a German uniform). The captain will direct your actions, follow him, not falling behind - in which case your comrades will cover you with massive fire.

Continue moving with the rest of the platoon until you come to a small courtyard and receive the order to “check what’s behind the door.” The large double door will be closed, and the very moment you try to turn the handle, your squad will be fired upon from the windows of the back house. Shoot at the fascists leaning out of the windows, and first of all pay attention to the window on the second floor, where the heavy machine gun is located. After the last enemy gives up the ghost, quickly run into the cleared building, go up to the second floor and take the place of the machine gunner.

As soon as you find yourself behind the machine gun, shoot at the fascists running towards you along the roofs and parapets. Desperately fire back at all the attackers, and when the attack subsides and one of your fighters says that you can leave your machine gun, go downstairs and open the once locked double door. Behind her will be another small group of enemies; After you deal with them, continue along the street, open the gate at the end and go to the next level.

The Rescue Mission

You escaped, but, alas, you lost your entire platoon along the way. You will have to act alone until the end of the mission. Go down the road from the gate, the surrounding patrols can open fire on you, so hide somewhere behind a wall and eliminate the fascists running towards you one by one.

After you pass the gate, turn right and go to one of the buildings on the left side, on the second floor of which a civilian in a brown jacket looms in the window. Prepare a grenade and throw it immediately after you open the door to this house. Shoot the surviving Krauts with a machine gun, go up the steps to the second floor (a couple of guards are waiting for you there), go along the corridor and open the cell in which the captive major is sitting. When he is free, listen carefully to his words about explosives and anti-aircraft guns on the coast, and then follow him, not lagging a step behind.

The major runs quite fast and shoots relatively well from a captured machine gun, but still try not to expose him to enemy bullets: if the major dies prematurely, the mission is considered failed. Continue following him until you come to a floodlit vacant lot with a locked gate straight ahead. Under the spotlights there is a large arch - this is what we need to enter in order to penetrate the weapons warehouse. Carefully pressing against the right wall, go to the arch, avoiding falling under the searchlight beams. If you are spotted, the alarm will be raised and machine guns will start firing from the watchtowers.

Having penetrated the arch, go deep into the long courtyard, follow the major up the steps and get ready to repel a fierce attack. Shoot only from cover, and if it starts to get very hot, choose grenades and throw them in the direction of the enemies. Even if you don’t kill anyone, you will at least force them to cease fire for a while. When all the Germans go to the best of all worlds, continue running after the Major until you reach the explosives warehouse. Take several explosive packages (a small yellow box) and go through the floodlit wasteland to the locked gate.

Place explosives under the gate, run away and after a powerful explosion, go south. Outside the gate you will be greeted by several soldiers and a large area with two anti-aircraft guns. Eliminate the fascist infantry, mine both cannons and rush as fast as you can to the far southern gate.

Sabotage at the Motorpool

It's time to do a little guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines. From the very beginning, move a little forward and to the right, and enter the hangar. Go to the open hood of each of the two trucks and cut the thin red wire. Go through the door opposite and enter the second hangar. Eliminate the technicians wandering nearby and take charge of the hood of the third truck.

Exit the hangar and go east into the open door of the large garage. Hide behind the tank on the left and plant an explosive package on its back side. Leave your shelter to the north and, sparing no grenades, throw in the fascists who are hanging around in the area, and finish off the survivors with a machine gun. Place explosives under the second tank and exit the garage through the door opposite the one you entered through. Run a little to the right, to the area slightly highlighted in red. Plant a bomb in this area and through the doors located directly ahead, head towards the third tank. Having gotten rid of his few guards, leave an explosive package under him and get ready to run between the two security towers in the main courtyard.

Carefully avoid the spotlights and approach the last tank, standing peacefully right between two security towers. Leave him a small TNT gift and run to the guard room in the northeastern part of the camp. Inside you will encounter strong resistance from the Nazi invaders. Don't skimp on grenades and don't skimp on charges for your machine gun (after the battle in the utility room, we won't need cartridges in this mission anymore). When you leave the building on the back side, use your rifle to eliminate the machine gunner on the tower and move straight to the cargo docks, where the major has already prepared everything for a comfortable escape - jump into his jeep and go towards new battles.

Lighting the Torch

In the first part of the mission, we stand behind the levers of a stationary machine gun mounted on a jeep driven by a major. Turn the machine gun in all directions, shoot back at the Krauts appearing from behind the hills (you have endless cartridges, thank God), and as soon as you see the truck from the side, open fire on its right side, eliminating the enemy squad lurking in the back.

When the jeep arrives at the airfield, focus your fire on the German fighters standing on the runway. Try to destroy everything during the first circle, otherwise the planes will take off and you will have to shoot them down at low level. When all the fighters are destroyed, the major will stop the jeep near the gate and drop you off near the entrance to the local headquarters. Go down the stone steps deep into the bunker and at the end of the path turn left into the room. Destroy all the guards inside and go along the corridor to the third door to the right. Behind it there will be another corridor. Follow it to the end and turn left through the door. Shoot the fascists conveniently located behind the door, go through the small hall to the end and take the binoculars from the bench. Return to the very first corridor with the stairs, go in the opposite direction, take the elevator and go down.

On the lower floor, holding grenades at the ready, the Germans will already be waiting for you. Run straight at them (if you stay in place, they will be hit by an explosion) and shoot the invaders with a machine gun. Approach the elevator and go down again to the road leading to the lighthouse. This is where binoculars will come in handy: carefully examine the top of the lighthouse and try to determine the location of the sniper. Eliminate the shooter with a rifle and slowly move towards the entrance to the lighthouse. A small ambush will await you near the entrance, so warn about your presence in advance by throwing a couple of grenades into the passage.

Climb to the top of the lighthouse, press the large lever by the lantern and immediately run to the window, taking the sniper rifle at the ready. An army truck will arrive along the road, stuffed to capacity with Germans. When it stops halfway and the Krauts run towards the lighthouse, try to stop them with targeted sniper fire. If anyone managed to survive, go down the stairs and finish off the remnants of the Germans. When the battle subsides, an old acquaintance, the major, will come for you in his jeep...

Mission 2 - Ruttling the U-529

Secret Documents of the Kriegsmarine

After recent events, the major was urgently transferred to the western front and managed to infiltrate the fascist camp, where he conducts active reconnaissance and subversive activities. The time has come for us to join this good cause. Take your sniper rifle at the ready and approach the camp gate at a safe distance. Shoot the guard at the entrance through the bars and come close to the closed entrance. A major in the uniform of a German officer will run out of the guard house on the right side of the gate and try to open the bars, when suddenly... Well, goodbye, comrade, see you in the best of worlds. Take revenge on the killers who appeared from behind the neighboring barn, and through a small gap in the gate, go into the camp territory and go into the guard room, from which the major had previously run out. Arm yourself well inside, take the first aid kit lying on the table, go back outside and turn west.

In the westernmost part of the camp there is a large stone bunker - the final goal of our visit. When making your way to it, be sure to examine each barn and destroy the fascists entrenched inside. Try not to use a sniper rifle, as the entire perimeter of the base is patrolled by guard dogs, extremely fast and agile creatures that can be extremely difficult to aim at even from afar. Also don't forget about the machine gunner on the security tower. Upon entering the bunker, carefully search its upper and two underground floors for secret documents. One of them (a small folder) lies in the upper room, not far from the observation post, the second (a wide diagram) hangs on the wall in a small room with an officer, and the other two documents are hidden in the basement. Keep your eye on the compass needle and you will find them easily. Having unraveled all the fascist secrets, rush to the basement and go to the end of the corridor to the north, to the transition to the next level.

Naxos Prototype

In this mission we have to, dressed in a German officer's uniform, cause a commotion in the German docks and blow up the newest submarine U-529. From the very beginning, hide the pistol away (the fascists are unnerved by the barrel at the ready), open the nearest door and take the uniform and officer documents from the bench in the next room. Go out into the next room and through the room with the fascists playing cards, go out onto the stairs and go down.

A security guard in a black uniform will meet you below and ask you to show your pass. Show him the documents taken from the bench and enter the door to the right. Take a moment to go down the stairs, turn left and walk along the iron platform into a small utility room, where a whole laboratory is located. The scientists inside will invite you to examine the prototype of the mysterious Naxos mechanism. Seize the moment when they turn to their workstations, quietly take out the pistol with a silencer and finish off two scientists near the board and one near the table with the equipment. After this, destroy Naxos with a shot (a small gray box on the table in the very center of the laboratory), exit the utility room and go down the stairs.

Follow the corridor to the left. An officer will meet you in a small room and ask you to show your pass to the docks. Instead of a pass, show him a pistol (act quickly, otherwise the fascist will have time to raise the alarm) and leave the room towards the docks. Follow the walkway along the pier until you reach a turn, behind which there is a dock with our submarine. A security guard will stop you at the turn and ask for your documents. Having shown him the pass and received a refusal, turn right and go up the small stairs to the officer’s rooms. Kill the annoying Urben Fuhrer inside, take the gray pass from the table, return to the guard and go to the dock with the submarine. Go down the walkway to the deck and get inside the boat through the round hatch.

SECOND PAGE

Inside the U-529

Inside the submarine you need to act quietly but decisively. Take out the pistol with a silencer and finish off the guard at the stairs. Go to the left side of the submarine and open the door with the valve. Inside, kill two more, go to the end room and take the secret papers from the table. Return to the right side of the submarine, open a similar door, kill the guard and plant a bomb near the engine. While the counter is ticking, quickly run to the left side of the submarine, plant the second bomb in the room next to the one where you took the documents, and rush to the exit at full speed. Climb up the stairs and run along the walkways to the left turn.

When the submarine takes off into the air, panic will begin in the ranks of the Nazis, and you need to quickly hide behind the boxes on the left side of the docks, shooting at the Krauts running past your shelter. Continue further down the corridor to the next dock. Don’t rush to come out from behind the walls and use grenades to smoke out the Germans hiding behind the barrels. Go along the right bridge of the second dock, and at the end turn into the utility room. Climb up the stairs and boldly jump inside the ventilation tunnel.

Escape from Trondheim

The escape! The alarm has already been raised throughout the entire base, numerous reinforcements are being pulled up to the scene of events, and all you need is to quickly retreat from the bunker overrun by fascists. First, go to the end of the tunnel (don’t relax for a second - somewhere near the very exit from the ventilation a cunning Fritz with a machine gun is already lying down), jump down through the hatch in the grate and run out of the room into the large hall.

In the hall, behind small recesses in the walls, the Nazis are already waiting for you. Don’t skimp on grenades, don’t sit around the corner for a long time, but dash from one recess in the wall to another and so on until the end of the corridor. When you pass the ill-fated hall, go down the stairs (some of the Germans may be hiding right under them), open the double cast-iron door and run straight along the compass arrow, without turning corners or exploring the surrounding rooms.

Prepare several grenades near the exit to the street. We need to make our way through the fascist hordes at all costs to the railway platform right ahead. Throw a couple of grenades into the thick of the Germans and, taking advantage of their temporary confusion, run directly to the open carriage, from which your fighting friends are already waving at you...

Mission 3 - Operation Overlord

Omaha beach: The Landing

So, the partisanship is over. Now we face the famous Allied landings in Normandy. Crowds of angry Yankees are running along Omaha Beach, and we are lost somewhere among them. Immediately after the doors of the landing boat open, run forward to the shore with the entire team. Having reached the sand, you will come under crossfire from fascist mortars and machine guns. Bend down to the ground and dash from one tank “hedgehog” to another in the direction of the German bunkers. Sometimes the machine gun will quiet down for a few seconds: it is at this moment that you need to have time to run to the next “hedgehog”.

At the end of the path, a small embankment and several colleagues will be waiting for you. Crawl along the embankment until you find the captain (the guy in the helmet with the “II” badge). The captain, without choosing any expression, will order you to bring TNT blocks lost by someone along the way. Look carefully at the place where he points his finger: near a small funnel there are long matte “pigs” - these are the ill-fated checkers. Crawling up to them, take them to the captain and wait until the rest of the soldiers blow up the “thorn” above the embankment.

When the crowd rushes to attack again, stay close to the captain and hide with him at the foot of one of the bunkers. Wait for the captain to send two fighters ahead, but do not follow them. When they take off on the mine, listen carefully to what he tells you. The moment he starts shooting from around the corner and shouting “go-go-go!”, run as fast as you can to the large crater left from your predecessors, from there sharply to the right, and jump into the trench. Crawl east in the trench and enter the bunker door.

Omaha beach: Inside the Bunker

Everything will be much simpler inside than on the surface. The bunker has three levels, you appear on the lowest one, and on the highest one there are machine gunners, slowing down our advance. Carefully clearing each room (there are not many of them), move up the side stairs. On the second level, in one of the utility rooms, you can use a first aid kit that was accidentally left behind.

When you find yourself at the very top, shoot two machine gunners near the stationary machine guns, stand in their place and destroy two more in the adjacent bunker with rapid fire. Without being distracted by the fascists scurrying around below, move away from the machine guns and leave the bunker the same way you came here.

Battle in the Bocage

For your valor and heroism on the shores of Omaha Beach, your higher command entrusts you with an even more responsible and dangerous task behind enemy lines. At the very beginning, listen carefully to the captain (the same one with whom you recently stormed the bunkers) and together with him head through the open door of the two-story house to the right. It is necessary to carry out the most basic cleaning in the house: there are few fascists inside, and they instantly run to one place at the sound of gunfire, so the best tactic here would be to sit down in some room and one by one shoot the Krauts running to the noise.

After everything calms down, head up the stairs to the second floor, where several of your soldiers are walled up in one of the rooms. After a short conversation, one of them will fall victim to a sniper’s bullet, and at this moment we need to quickly run into the next room, stand near the windows and, armed with a rifle, wait for the Germans to advance. Enemies will come out in groups of two or three people from behind the shed outside the windows, and in the meantime we need to shoot as many villains as possible, not allowing them to reach the house. Those whom you missed will be taken care of by the captain, who has been covering our rear all this time.

As soon as the last of the attackers dies, immediately run down the stairs and take a place behind the heavy machine gun near the broken window on the first floor. New parties of fascists will appear on a small alley behind the fence. Just as in the case of defending the second floor, do not let them approach the house, and when you get rid of everyone, run out with the captain through the same alley, turn right and run east.

Along the way, you will come across scattered groups of Nazi invaders guarding the approaches to the anti-personnel gun. When you reach this cannon, the captain will warn you that it is too dangerous to push forward, so take a detour along the small alley in the south. The moment a small house appears ahead, you need to act without delay: under the hurricane fire of heavy machine guns, run forward and hide behind the skeleton of a car lying nearby. From there, crawl carefully to the entrance, and as soon as you find yourself inside the house, go up to the second floor and, using a sniper rifle, eliminate all the fascists holed up behind the machine guns in the barn next to the house.

Go downstairs and greet the new arrival. Go through the barn where the Nazis were previously sitting, and get ready for another difficult breakthrough. Behind the brick wall behind the barn is a water tower surrounded by a small grove of trees. Snipers settled in this grove (and on the tower itself). Try to take them out of fear: choose a machine gun and run as fast as you can through the grove, taking out the unlucky shooters in quick bursts. When everything calms down, go inside the tower and finish off the last one.

Immediately behind the tower, in a small vacant lot, near the body of a defeated soldier, there is a working walkie-talkie. Pick it up and return to the place where the anti-personnel gun stopped you. Now that we have a radio, we can use binoculars to direct air strikes. However, having thus removed the cannon from a safe distance, we are faced with a new problem: support aircraft cannot return due to anti-aircraft installations scattered throughout the area. Having walked a little from the wreckage of the cannon, turn left along the path and head along the wide alley to destroy these ill-fated installations.

When you reach a large clearing with an impregnable bunker in the middle, immediately hide behind the nearest boulder and get rid of all its defenders with well-aimed sniper fire. Next, you need to act without delay: run up to the anti-aviation installations, blow them up and, together with the rest of the squad, hide inside the empty bunker. Stand behind your heavy machine gun and violently stop all attempts by the fascists to take possession of your strategically important point. The captain and the infantryman who joined earlier (if he, of course, is still alive) will defend your rear.

When you have repelled the attack, with a clear conscience, move to the second anti-personnel cannon, send an air strike on it and run along the vacated passage to the next level.

The Nebelwerfer Hunt

At the exit from the alley, a German armored personnel carrier is already driving towards you. Get him as close as possible and try to destroy him with one shot from a rocket launcher aimed somewhere in the area of the tower. It's okay if you don't succeed the first time - such shooting requires a child's skill. When the armored personnel carrier starts smoking, two more soldiers who were previously holed up in the shelter will join your group. Head forward together until you reach the city.

In the city, the main thing is to quickly choose the right tactics. Let the rest of your fighters go ahead, while you climb to the second floors of buildings and clear the streets using sniper fire. Special attention pay attention to the machine gunners located in hard-to-reach shelters, surrounded on all sides by sandbags. Moving in this way from house to house, your squad will soon stumble upon an armored “Tiger” hiding behind one of the walls of a dilapidated house. The “tiger” is absolutely motionless, so to destroy it we need to show maximum dexterity. The first salvo from a rocket launcher can be fired from the window of a destroyed wall, after which you can immediately run back. Half the wall will collapse. Quickly run to the other side and the moment you pass the gap, fire a second salvo. So, running from wall to wall, you need to fire five or six volleys exactly at the tank before it finally deigns to explode.

Run forward along the road around the barbed wire until you notice a huge church building in the distance. Be careful: large detachments of militant Nazis are entrenched inside, but we must move on at all costs. Remember how on Omaha Beach we hid from machine-gun fire behind tank hedgehogs? So, it’s the same here, only the role of “hedgehogs” is now played by monuments and tombstones in the church cemetery. Carefully running from tombstone to tombstone, get to the small eminence on which the church stands, carefully go around it from behind and use the good old methods to get rid of all the Krauts sitting inside.

When the road behind the church is finally clear, move further towards a huge field surrounded by barbed wire. The strangely designed guns located on this field are those ill-fated Nebelwerfers. Mine the infernal machine closest to you and run to the bunker on the hill. Inside, deal with the few defenders, look up and, using a sniper rifle, do not allow the Nazis to reach the heavy machine guns scattered throughout the field. When there are noticeably fewer people willing to shoot, leave your shelter and follow a barely noticeable path (there is a minefield all around!) next to the barbed wire and head to the second bunker. Behind the bunker there will be a deep concrete trench, jump into it, go to the end, go up the small ladder and mine the three remaining Nebelwerfers. That's it, the task is over.

Mission 4 - Behind the Enemy Lines

Rendezvous with Resistance

An Allied reconnaissance plane is shot down and the pilot captured. We are tasked with saving the poor fellow before the Nazis have time to interrogate him. The mission takes place at night, so be extremely careful - treacherous ambushes are possible along the road. So, go north and shoot the two sentries from afar. At the crossroads, turn west and, without making much noise, move towards the site of the plane crash. Don't be afraid for the pilot - as soon as the shooting starts, he will hide in a safe place. When you are free from security, go in the direction that the pilot will indicate to you. It’s better not to go into the house near the road, but you can look into its vast basement (entrance via the “cellar” staircase from the facade) - several first aid kits and very useful ammunition are hidden there.

In dashes, move further along the road to the south. Along the way you will meet several more patrols, two or three people each. Try to hide from them along the ridge of hills and shoot with your rifle at the flash points from the shots. Under no circumstances leave the pilot unprotected, and if necessary, even cover him with your own body - his death means automatic defeat in the mission. When a church on a hill looms on the horizon, be extremely careful: numerous German machine gunners are stationed along the powerful fortifications on the approaches to it. Shoot at the silhouettes above the wooden ceilings with a rifle - a machine gun will be of little use here due to its large spread. When the last defender gives up the ghost, quickly run up the hill and take a place behind the heavy machine gun near the shelter lined with sandbags. If you do everything quickly, you will be just in time for a truck full of Krauts to appear on the road. Feel free to fire at the entire visibility zone (the pilot will hide behind the ceilings at this time), and when the resistance stops, go into the church.

From the holy house, use grenades to smoke out several soldiers of Hitler's army holed up inside and carefully look around. Near the stained glass window with a mosaic depicting St. Luke there is an altar, sit down and look at its right edge: in that place under the lid there is a barely noticeable button. Feel free to click on it, climb through the opened hatch and guide the pilot through the underground tunnel towards the long-awaited freedom.

Diverting the Enemy

In a gas mask, the size of the visible space is noticeably reduced. You'll have to get used to it.

Guerrilla foray into enemy rear. In the first part of this mission you will have to behave very carefully so as not to inadvertently raise the alarm. So, follow the truck driving down the road and follow it (that is, walk, don’t run!). When a guard stops him at the checkpoint, sneak inside the truck unnoticed and, hiding, wait for the truck to take you to your destination. When the movement stops, quietly crawl out of your hiding place, arm yourself with a pistol with a silencer, go around the truck on the left side and finish off the driver who came out to get some air.

Throughout the territory of the fascist camp, move at all times at a pace - otherwise you may be heard. Mine the nearby tank and go to the first tent. Kill the sleeping machine gunner there and go out into the air. Near the fuel barrels, get rid of the officer looking into the foggy distance, and in the next tent, get rid of the second guard. Go a little further north and kill the last defender of the camp - the soldier near the stationary machine gun. So, now it's time to mine the remaining tanks. The second one is located next to the barrels, and the last one is behind the tent where you killed the first sentry.

When the stopwatches on the detonators start counting down, head to the eastern part of the campground, jump over the sandbags and go straight to the railroad. Be careful: somewhere in this area there may be malicious guard dogs - these creatures are trained to run up from behind unnoticed, but they also die from a single shot. Continue along the tracks to the south, periodically looking ahead through the rifle with a telescopic sight (there may be treacherous patrols on your way), and do not forget to turn the railway switch at the turn. There is no point in entering the stone bunker - its internal rooms are well guarded, and apart from two or three first aid kits, there is absolutely nothing useful inside. Pass by the bunker, destroy the group of fascists near the barrels (shoot straight at the barrels - they are filled with something very explosive), and after you get rid of everyone, turn west to a huge building with a spotlight on the balcony.

Using a sniper rifle, shoot the lone sentry patrolling the lower floor, and, trying not to get caught in the spotlight, move inside the building. Inside, arm yourself with a machine gun and begin a deadly marathon through this Nazi stronghold. Suppressing sluggish resistance, quickly move along the corridor of the first floor, climb the stairs to the second and exit onto the platform leading to a balcony with a spotlight. Stand behind the heavy machine gun located there and get ready to shoot all the Fritzes that appear below. If you suddenly miss someone, go back to the first floor and finish off the survivors with a machine gun. From the balcony, move left, through a small door, walk along the corridor and go down the elevator at the very end. A small but well-protected corridor awaits you below (don't forget about grenades!), quickly suppress the resistance and go outside.

And again Railway. Run along the tracks to the south and plant a bomb in the railway cul-de-sac on the right side of the track. Turn right and run up the stone stairs to the security towers. The smartest thing to do here would be to climb into some house and, with a machine gun at the ready, wait for the Nazi invaders, who are scouring the entire territory in abundance in search of you. When you get rid of all the Nazis, go into the glass observation post and turn another railroad switch. Having finished with it, jump into the back of a truck standing in the vicinity and rush forward towards new adventures.

The Command Post

Some of our guys will never reach the shores of Normandy.

Adventures did not take long to arrive. The time has come to storm the command post. Listen to the last parting words from the truck driver, wait until he stops near the wall of an inconspicuous barn, and jump to the ground. This mission is the first time you get a shotgun, so I advise you to keep it ready at all times, just in case. Go around the barn on the left and go through it to the west towards the glowing lights of the fascist camp. Just before the entrance there is a small tent camp (you can get extra ammunition in the tents), and next to the checkpoint there is a heavy machine gun. Eliminate the machine gunner with a sniper rifle and quickly run to the guard booth. A security guard in a black uniform will try to turn on the siren, the noise of which could cause a good half of the garrison to come running, so at all costs you must stop him.

After the gate, turn right, go forward and soon you will notice two large buildings - this is the headquarters. Along the way, you may come across several patrols (it’s better to hide from them somewhere behind the boxes), as well as several officers and a lot of guards in black uniforms - these are the ones you need to destroy first so that they do not have time to raise the alarm. The headquarters is divided into two wings - northern and southern. Go through the double doors to the south - you will find yourself in a room with a fireplace. Turn left and, suppressing weak resistance, go down to the basement, where on the table in the far corner there are secret documents regarding the new German tank. Take the documents and return to the room with the fireplace. Turn right and go up the stairs to the second floor. In the last room in the long corridor, use the walkie-talkie and go to the second wing.

On the first floor (library) you will meet more than worthy resistance. Hide under the stairs and shoot at all the fascists running down. When you get rid of the danger, go up to the second floor, and from there to the attic. In the attic, in a makeshift meeting room, strategic military plans lie on the table. Take them and leave the house. Go around it with reverse side and through the narrow doors enter a room with a double staircase. While shooting back from the surrounding soldiers, run up the stairs to the left, pass by the officers' mess and in the small office behind it, pick up another stack of secret documents from the table.

Run out of the house and run to the western exit of the camp. Kill the guard in the booth and rush down the alley. Don't let the apparent calm around you bother you. As soon as you run ten meters away from the booth, massive shelling of your person will begin from all sides. And here is our advice for you in such a case: run. Without stopping, run forward and do not engage in firefights with the fascists appearing from behind the bushes. Enemies may send several shepherd dogs after us, so if you hear a suspicious roar, quickly turn back and shoot back at the animals, sparing no ammo. If everything goes well and you remain alive, then at the very end of this hellish alley a specially prepared truck will be waiting for you.

Mission 5 - Day of the Tiger

Sniper's Last Stand

Another operation behind enemy lines - this time we will be involved in the theft of the “Royal Tiger”, a new tank that entered service with the German army. The very first task in this mission is one of the most (if not the most) difficult in the entire game. Walking through the deserted streets of a dilapidated town, you need to eliminate all the snipers entrenched in the ruins. Snipers act without delay, so knowing their exact location is 90% of success in this mission. Describing such a complex tactical situation in words is a thankless task, so we offer you a plan of the entire level with our brief explanations.

The dotted line indicates your route from the very beginning of the level to the final point of arrival (the gate to the southern part of the city). Familiar X the exact locations of the snipers are indicated, and the numbers show the height of the floor on which the evil shooter is holed up ( 1 - the sniper stands on the ground, 2 - hiding on the second floor, 3 - lurking on the roof or looking out of the attic window). Familiar S small groups of our soldiers who strayed from the main forces are indicated; the only way they can help you is to temporarily divert sniper fire to themselves. Sign B indicates the place where the bodies of defeated bombers lie on the second floor of a dilapidated house (there we need to get hold of a grenade launcher). And finally, the icon G- the final gate that needs to be broken through with a grenade launcher to get to the next level. We hope that with our scheme you will not have any big problems passing this not very pleasant level.

City Hall

At the very beginning of the level, run after one of the soldiers you meet in the direction of the ruins and go up to the second floor of the dilapidated house. Have a grenade launcher ready and wait near the windows. After some time, a German tank will drive down the street directly towards your shelter. Until he gets close, he won't even think about starting fire, so shoot at him as soon as he turns the corner. To completely destroy a tank, 3-4 direct hits to the turret are enough.

When the menacing car takes off, leave the house and head to the part of the city where the tank came from. Down the street you will come across several heavily fortified ruins with snipers and machine gunners inside. Let your squad pass a little forward to divert the fascist fire to them, and run from the back of the shelter (usually through a dilapidated door) and shoot the dug-in Nazis at point-blank range. Never run forward if you left an “uncleared” house in the rear, and also do not expose your soldiers too much - you will have to bring at least two of them to the end of the level. Also, stay close to the medic at all times (the guy with a big red cross on his helmet) - in case of critical injuries, he will automatically restore your health or hand you a first aid kit.

After passing three buildings fortified in this way, ahead you will see an arch with a bridge at the top. Immediately behind it, on the right, a large detachment of enemies lurked, and directly there was an inconspicuous door to a dilapidated two-story building. This is the city hall. Stand near open door and wait for countless squads of fascists to run after you - shoot them one at a time near the exit and under no circumstances take the battle inside the building - there are a lot of enemies there. When the flow of Krauts dries up, go into the town hall and in small dashes move along the stairs from the second to the first floor. In the central hall there will be a small room to the left of the stairs going down to the first floor. Go in there and go out into the street through the opposite entrance. Here it is, the ill-fated “Royal Tiger”. Kill the few guards near the tank and, accompanied by the roar of multi-ton tracks, go to the next level.

Destroyed Village and Village Road

The next two episodes are a kind of rest after our torment at the last levels. Driving the “Royal Tiger”, we have to drive through occupied villages and escape from the fascist encirclement. Controlling the tank is quite easy: use the mouse to rotate the turret, and use the cursor keys to move the body. If you get completely confused about where the front of the tank is and where the back is, center the turret using the space bar.

The levels themselves are not particularly difficult - you always drive in one direction and suppress the Krauts flickering under the tracks with your superior firepower. You shouldn’t even waste time on ordinary infantrymen - even if they wanted to, they won’t penetrate the armor of your iron miracle, but you need to pay special attention to soldiers with grenade launchers, stationary guns and enemy tanks. When you approach any cluster of houses, shoot each building from afar (you have endless cartridges, and grenade launchers may well be hiding inside). When encountering well-fortified firing lines, shoot at the barrels of fuel that are located nearby, and in a head-on collision with enemy tanks, try to go around them from the rear or press them sideways against the wall. Fascist tank crews turn the turret very slowly, so that by the time the muzzle turns 180 degrees, you will have time to fire three or four salvos - a number usually sufficient to destroy any enemy armored vehicles.

The Bridge

The Nazis intend to blow up the bridge right ahead, so we will have to get out of our iron fortress and go on reconnaissance. At the very beginning of the mission, hide behind the tank, take a sniper rifle at the ready and carefully look at the opposite end of the street. After a while, detachments of fascists will pour out from around the corners. Try to shoot as many enemies as possible before they reach the tank, and when they finally break through, choose a machine gun and finish off all the survivors. After destroying the first wave of attackers, run straight along the street until the turn, prepare your sniper rifle and take turns taking out all the Krauts who appear in the alleys. Get rid of the rest using the good old methods.

At the end of the street near the bridge itself there will be two high-rise buildings. In any of them you can set up a convenient sniper position. I would recommend choosing the building to the left of the bridge, since the gap in the wall on its third floor offers a wide area of visibility, covering the entire bridge and a couple of surrounding alleys. As soon as you settle down near the gap, you will be contacted by radio and warned about the Nazis advancing towards the bridge. The soldiers will run out of the alleys one at a time and immediately rush to the place filled with sacks on the right side of the bridge. There they will stop for a moment to plant a bomb - this is where our insidious shot from a sniper rifle should overtake them. When the flow of soldiers dries up and your tank drives onto the bridge, put away the sniper rifle and get your binoculars ready. Enemy tanks will periodically appear in the alleys behind the bridge - aim airstrikes at them using binoculars. Try to capture several tanks at once with one blow, and don’t hesitate too long - your tank has very limited health. The last tank to appear near the bridge will be exactly the same tank as yours - the “Royal Tiger”. Wait for him to parade along the canal and stop near the mangled cannon, and only then aim your attacking planes at him.

When positioned near a breach, do not think that you are completely safe. During the entire sniper show, small fascist patrols (two or three people) will creep up on your shelter, so if you suddenly hear German speech behind you, immediately hide your binoculars and take out your machine gun... We hope that everything will work out for you.

Mission 6 - The Return to Schmerzen

The Siegfried Forest: Flak Guns

To survive in the inhospitable winter forest, where another secret mission has thrown us, we need to follow only one rule: NEVER run. The quieter you move among the trees, the greater the chance that you will not be noticed by any of the patrols that roam the area in abundance. If you are nevertheless noticed, try to determine from which side they are firing at you, lie down behind the nearest barrel and shoot back from the enemy to the best of your ability. From the very beginning of the mission, go northwest along the arrow. At the end of the path, a large cannon and three guards await you. Get rid of them, mine the cannon and, if you are wounded, heal yourself with the first aid kit hidden under it.

After you blow up the cannon, follow the small path west until you come to the second cannon and three more guards. Do the same with everyone as in the first case, and, carefully descending the hill (patrolls roam especially often in this area!), move to the southern part of the forest. Look carefully to the east through the fog. When you see a high stone bunker, shoulder a sniper rifle and through a wide loophole shoot all its inhabitants (three snipers plus one soldier behind a heavy machine gun). Having gotten rid of the obstacle, with a clear conscience, go east to the end of the map.

The Siegfried Forest: Bunker Hill

The second part of the adventure in the ill-fated forest begins with clearing the bunker in the south. Walk forward a little in the direction indicated and climb up the hill with this stone structure. Go around the bunker on the eastern side (be careful, the entrance is guarded) and begin systematically clearing the room. In principle, you don’t even need to go anywhere. All the inhabitants of the bunker will run to the entrance to shoot, from where you can shoot them without tension through a special “window” in the eastern wall. When you destroy everyone, go along the main corridor into the room to the right, climb the stairs to the roof and blow up the cannon installed at the top.

Exit the bunker and go east. After a while you will see a completely identical structure on the next hill. Carefully go around it from the south-eastern side (in the north-west at this time there is a tent with several seasoned fighters, so if you want to protect your further journey, get rid of them first). If you look ahead, you will see a loophole in the concrete wall with three snipers and one heavy machine gun. Carefully use your rifle to eliminate all the fascists located there and, having bypassed this bunker, continue your run to the southeast.

Die Sturmgewehr

At the edge of the forest there is a well-guarded German camp, which we need to sneak into unnoticed and make a decent noise inside. So, at the beginning of the level, move east to the open gate, use a pistol with a silencer to eliminate the guard at the checkpoint (be careful that he doesn’t raise the alarm!), and then, avoiding the searchlight beams, crawl along the right wall of the camp to the concrete bunker on north. Go inside along the stone stairs and step towards a small room on the right side of the corridor. Inside, kill the officer as quietly as possible, take the German uniform from the table, hide the pistol and follow the left corridor to the very end. At the end of the corridor, go into a small room, wait until two guards in winter camouflage come out, take the pass from the table and go down the spiral staircase in the corridor.

At the entrance to the lower level, present your pass to the guard in a black uniform and go down the corridor to the right, into the room with the officer. Do not pay attention to the officer’s demand to present documents, but rather wait until two patrol officers enter the room. When they turn their backs to the officer, you need to act without delay: quickly grab your pistol and finish off first the patrolmen and then the officer with accurate shots. Take the second level pass from the table and go to the opposite side of the corridor.

Before entering the warehouse, present your documents to the restless soldier smoking a cigarette and go through the doors. Inside you will be met by another officer talking about something with a scientist in a white coat, silently shoot both of them and continue moving deeper into the warehouse. In the small room to the east, shoot another scientist and take the secret documents from the table. Go back out into the corridor; Continuing to move east, you will eventually reach an armory, there, take as many cartridges from the boxes as you can carry, plant a bomb under one of them and run back.

After the explosion of the weapons depot, a commotion will begin in the camp. Immediately run to the exit of the bunker. Don’t even think about stopping along the way, engaging in long firefights with the guards (although we still recommend taking out the machine gunners in the proven way “from around the corner”) or trying to turn off the alarm - the soldiers will keep coming and coming. After getting out of the warehouse, run along the corridor to the second floor, and from there to the exit to Fresh air. After exiting, turn north and, avoiding the searchlight beams, rush straight to the small gap in the fence near the western bunker. By that time, a whole crowd will already be chasing you, so don’t stop for a second. Turning around the corner, run into the bunker right in front of your eyes, go up to the second floor and destroy the soldiers near the stationary machine guns. You can also temporarily use machine guns to take out the guards near the northern checkpoint. Get out of the bunker, go around it on the eastern side, and after the camp gates turn west and rush into the narrow gorge between the rocks... Everyone, saved!

The Communications Blackout

Finally, the creepy forest is left behind, go out from behind the trees onto the road, kill the two guards at the checkpoint and turn south to the entrance to the city. On main street get rid of the few guards and turn into the eastern alley. There you will find powerful resistance and a heavy machine gun hidden behind some bags at the end of the street. Destroy the attackers by hiding somewhere around the corner, and eliminate the machine gunner using a sniper rifle. Climb the stairs next to the machine gun and turn north along the parapet.

Follow the wide alley until you see a small field camp with two guard towers in the northwest and southeast corners and two warehouses in the north. Carefully, using a rifle, first remove the guards on the towers, and then in the security booth in the eastern part of the camp. Approach the warehouses. There are a few fascists inside each, and after eliminating them you need to plant two bombs inside each warehouse and one more on their back side, near the high antennas. After the last explosive package is installed and the timer ticks, turn south and take your feet back to the southern alley.

Several punitive detachments of SS men are already running towards you. There will be quite a lot of fascists in the alley, so try to find some strategically advantageous cover and do not forget to duck when they shoot at you in several bursts. Continue south along the parapet and past the stairs down the street until you come to a dead end with a wide staircase to the second floor of the house. Climb up it and go through the door with the inscription “Waffen-SS”. Kill the officer and his few guards in the room, heal yourself with the first aid kit on the table and boldly... jump out the window.

The Schmerzen Express

We continue our escape from the disturbed wasp's nest. Run west through the gateway into a small forest. Ignoring the paved paths, run directly northeast to the bridge. A patrol is already waiting for you on the bridge - three people with a dog. First of all, shoot at the dog, and then at your fellow fascists (mostly local patrols are armed with rifles, so they do not pose a serious threat). Cross the bridge and move east along the northern park wall until you reach an arch and another patrol going around the area.

Enter the arch, move forward a little until you see the rails. Wait for the train to pass along them, and then jump down and run along the sleepers to the west. Along the way you will meet several dogs and stray machine gunners - try to destroy them from afar with a sniper rifle. Keep moving forward until you notice a tall tower. Carefully inspect the walkway above it - three dangerous snipers are hiding somewhere there, so try to spot them first.

Climb onto the platform along the southern stone ladder and try to find a pattern in the wandering of the light spots from the spotlights along the ground. You need to slip unnoticed between them into a nook lined with boxes in the south, and from there, passing two more security towers behind the fence and successfully slipping past their beams, make your way into a small utility room in the north. The utility room is rather lightly guarded, so after destroying all its defenders, shoot a couple of times at the electrical panel on the wall. The electric locks on the doors will automatically unlock, and we will be able to enter the warehouse next to the first security tower we meet at the station.

Return there and go inside the warehouse. Don’t expect particularly strong resistance, but be prepared for tactical fascist nasty things: the Krauts can wait for you in dark corners, and then run out from behind cover and shoot in the back, throw grenades from around the corner, and so on. One way or another, you need to find the stairs leading to the second floor, and on it, in the farthest room at the end of the confusing corridor, use the secret German walkie-talkie. The express will arrive in just a couple of minutes, so our mission here is over.

Storming Fort Schmerzen

Very difficult mission, which will require devilish concentration and almost samurai composure from you. After the carriage in which our soldiers are seated stops at the station and one of the rangers shoots the guard, all hell will break loose all around. To make it easier to navigate, use the diagram below.

I'm familiar here V our carriage is indicated, the dotted line is the route along which we must have time to reach the shelter (thin dotted lines indicating boxes), X indicates the location of snipers on security towers and in bunker windows, and G- the gate that will open after we successfully repel the attack.

The algorithm of actions will be as follows: when the ranger shoots the guard at the exit of the car, immediately run north to the boxes, aim your optics at sniper rifle and begin eliminating targets in the order below. Firstly, a sniper from the nearest security tower (western), secondly, a machine gunner from the north-eastern window in the eastern bunker, thirdly, two snipers from the southern tower, and fourthly, a machine gunner from the south-western window of the western bunker. It sounds complicated, but take another look at our diagram - and everything will immediately become clear. Continue shooting enemies as they appear, focusing on the western bunker and the northeast window of the eastern bunker. If one of your people gets shot, it’s okay, at least one must survive to successfully complete the mission.

When you shoot back, the captain who survived the shootout will order you to force the northern gate. Stay close to the crates and keep your rifle ready. As soon as the gates open, new crowds of Krauts will come out of them. Try to shoot as many enemies as possible, and disperse all survivors with grenades and shoot them with a machine gun. In the large hall behind the gate, turn the valve at the northern wall - go into the small corridor and shoot the guard. Take grenades at the ready and open another valve at the opposite wall. As soon as the doors begin to slide away, throw a grenade into the gap between the doors, quickly hide behind the wall, select a machine gun and immediately after the explosion fly into the room and destroy everything. The grenade, in theory, should confuse the enemy and disrupt his orderly line of defense. Pay special attention to the soldiers near the loopholes: if you get closer to them, they will leave their heavy machine guns aimed at the street and switch to you. When you get rid of everyone, go into the small utility room and turn the lever. You can go to the grate on the south side of the room and talk to the captain who arrived just in time.

Return to the room you came from. Everything there is ready for the demolition of the cast iron door. Listen to the final instructions from the sapper, go to the fuse at the end of the fuse and press the lever. The door will fly off its hinges, and our task is to run into the gap before our partners. Quickly switch to a sniper rifle, lie down in the corridor and begin to shoot all the fascists appearing at the other end one by one. When the fighting subsides a little, head north along the corridor and, suppressing little resistance along the way, go down the metal stairs to the basement.

In the basement, we are primarily interested in fuel pressure control cylinders - large tanks located on the walls with many indicators and pipes sticking out in different directions. The first such cylinder will be straight ahead, right after the stairs to the basement. Mine it and at the next turn turn east, jump over the boxes placed in the passage and go forward along the opened corridor. At the very end there will be a second cylinder. Leave the TNT surprise underneath and head back to the stairs. On the right side of it there will be another passage blocked by boxes. Jump over them, mine the third cylinder and rush into the large two-level hall in the east. Inside you will have to take part in a shootout with numerous guards for some time, and then go down to the lower level and turn the huge valve near the wall.

Immediately after these manipulations, run back to the stairs along which you went down to the basement, go upstairs and rush in the direction of the once destroyed cast-iron door. Somewhere halfway, in a room abundantly filled with barrels, a new door opened - the entrance to the elevator. Enter it, press the side lever and rise to the upper levels of the fortress.

Inner Facility

Ahead of you, several machine gunners have prepared an ambush. Disperse it with grenades and get rid of all the inhabitants of the high-rise bunker. There is no point in climbing the stairs located to the left and right of the elevator - there are only a lot of guards and absolutely nothing useful. Walk straight along the corridor a little and go down to the lower level along the stairs located to the left of the room with loopholes and a large cannon.

At the bottom, move all the time to the north, without turning into other small corridors. In this underground labyrinth, the Krauts will offer you the most stubborn resistance, so if you have not used a shotgun before, then at this level it will be very useful (the shot, by the way, can pierce through the boxes behind which the Nazis so love to arrange shelters for themselves). When you reach the elevator, turn right and follow the corridor past the soldiers' bedrooms into a small closet in the west. In the closet, take the gas mask from the shelf, return to the elevator and go down.

Chemical Plant

The gas mask has noticeably reduced our visibility zone, so we will have to fight at this level with extreme caution. Starting to run from the elevator, fight off the advancing fascists (it’s better to “lure” them with shots - fighting head-on with such a crowd is fraught), and then rush west along the narrow corridor. At the turn, turn south and enter the “gas room”. When the shootout with the guards begins, a German scientist will appear out of nowhere and shout that the bullets can destroy the fragile system and release poisonous gas. But that’s all we need! Start shooting at the thick pipes in the middle of the room, and after a few seconds the entire surrounding space will be filled with yellow fog, in which the remnants of the Nazi forces will ingloriously die. After such a brutal massacre, you can get down to business: go to the broken pipes, open two large valves and plant a bomb on the opposite side, after which you will have only thirty seconds to run back to the elevator and go up.

Final Run

The last push towards freedom. Run to the exit along familiar corridors. Do not stop in place for a long time (the flames from the reactor that exploded below are inexorably approaching from behind). In principle, only one road leads to the exit - all the others are already filled with earth or filled with fire. Don't engage in long firefights. Opponents at this level really like to hide behind barrels of gasoline - so, blow them up along with the barrels and run on, not paying attention to the annoying chatter of machine guns behind you. When you find yourself in a long corridor with a grated floor under your feet, a cheeky Fritz at the very end and flames approaching from all sides - without hesitation, rush straight into the fire, shoot at the enemy soldier as you go and after the corridor turn sharply to the right. Run to the end of the room, turn the valve on the wall and jump through the opening doors.

Conclusion

The last reactor exploded behind me, the last fascist stands to the left of the exit, and the last corridor is ahead. Shoot the Fritz on the move, pick up a grenade and run into the air. As soon as you see enemies standing in front, throw a grenade and, without stopping, run straight at them. Near the boxes piled up in disarray at the very exit, don’t forget to pick up the first aid kit. Frightened by the grenade, the Nazis will scatter in all directions, and at this time you select a shotgun and finish them off one by one. There should be just enough charges for everyone. At the moment when the last of the Germans gives up the ghost, the doors of the carriage standing on the rails will open and familiar voices will call to them. The train will immediately start moving, you will finally look again towards the fascist fort engulfed in flames, and then close your eyes and only think that for you this war is already over...
