Walkthrough dark souls 1. Walkthrough Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. The Basics of Dark Souls Remastered

In this game you have to play on behalf of the living dead. Your main ailments will be emptiness or madness, your heavy burden will be the stigma of the invisible community " Dark Souls". To regain your human form, use your humanity at the bonfires. This will allow you to reverse the hollowing process, increase the chances of getting help from other players or dropping various items.

The passage of "Dark Souls" begins with the creation of a character. One of the main criteria that you have to set is the class of the character. The class in this game is a reflection of the character's stats, soul level, and items. It directly affects the development of the game plot and its ending. Examples of character creation can be viewed at the link

(watch from 2:20 to 8:00).

If you intend to play Dark Souls for the first time, we recommend that you choose the Wanderer class. This is a good choice, as Drifters are much faster than other classes in mastering magic and earning stat points. This class means that you will have to engage in melee combat, as well as occasionally use ranged weapons or magic. The latter is highly preferable if you want to learn how to defeat strong enemies that you will encounter from the very first levels.

You can get magical training from teacher characters, for example: magic from Griggs (Griggs), palmistry from Laurentius (Laurentius), and miracles from Petrus (Petrus Of Thorolund). The first you will meet is Griggs in the Firelink Shrine - the center of the Dark Souls universe. The other two characters you have to save during the quests. Toward the middle and end of the game, you will be able to meet several more advanced teachers. And at the very first level, the Soul arrow magic, which is sold by the New Londo Ruins blacksmith, will be available to you.

We go further. Bows, which will also be available to you from the very first level, should be used in ranged combat. It is most rational to use them in order to stir up a stationary enemy and “pull” him towards you. At the start of the game, purchase a Short Bow. It is sold by Undead Merchant in Undead Burg. With the purchase of this product and a hundred arrows, you can also purchase a powerful sword (Drake Sword) in the appendage. We do not recommend buying crossbows, since aimed fire will not work with them.

Further. One of the differences between the game and Demon's Souls is the special role of items. They are used both for writing and evaluating inscriptions and marks, and for helping other characters or organizing an invasion of another world. Purchase Orange Guidance Soapstone from the same Undead Merchant in Undead Burg.Or you can get a White Sign Soapstone from Solaire of Astora in exchange for all the help you can.Cracked Red Eye Orbs can be found on your own during the course of quests.A little tip: do not forget to motivate other players with positive ratings for the inscriptions. This adds them characters of humanity and leads to more frequent use of hints.

Now directly about the passage of "Dark Souls". Since this is a non-linear game with a large number of options for the development of events, compose its exact full walkthrough seems impossible. Each player chooses his own way of character development and plot, experimenting with different weapons, spells and combat techniques. This is the beauty of Dark Souls: you and only you decide what to do and where to go on the next quest.

Nevertheless, we consider it useful to give some advice to beginners.

Which class to choose? The game, fortunately, does not put any hard limits on the use of characters. When you set a character class, the program automatically builds it initial characteristics and equipment.

Why are souls needed? Be guided in the game by the principle "the more souls, the better." Not only your level, but also your inventory (weapons, armor, items, etc.) depends on their number.

Are there any restrictions on the passage of the game? The developers prefer to say that there is no limit on the number of levels, but we consider it necessary to make a reservation. There is a character level limit, but it is very high and unattainable under normal conditions, and even more so during the first playthrough. As for the skill limit, it also exists. So, pumping the Endurance characteristic is not possible over 40.

Tips for character development can be viewed in the video:

What is the Humanity parameter and what does it affect? This parameter is used to restore the human form, which grants the character additional features. In particular, it increases the chance of various items falling out, increases resistance to spells, and allows you to invade other people's worlds.

An example of using this humanity parameter:

(a small example at the very beginning).

How can I replenish the character's health? The first and most obvious way is to rest by the fire. You can also use first-aid kits or heal wounds with miracles, artifacts, and special items.

How to use magic? In order to master magic, you first need to pump the Attument parameter to 10. After that, you will have one magic slot. In the future, when pumping Attument, you will receive more and more slots. To use this or that spell, you must pick up the occult symbol of your school.

Since the appearance of the game, a large number of reviews have been written. Several options for passing have been proposed. Learn how to play online. But in this review I will try to tell you about how I went through the game for the second time. And although I tried to write as much as possible detailed guide according to the game, as it turned out later, I still didn’t succeed. Well, maybe it's better that way? Believe me, there is really something to explore in this game)))

Well now, let's start:

A bit of history.

Several millennia before the events of the game, in an unformed world shrouded in mist, the power belonged to immortal dragons. This order of things persisted until the advent of fire, with which came heat and cold, life and death, light and darkness. Out of the darkness appeared Them, who found in the first flame the souls of the Lords: Gwyn, the lord of sunlight; Witch of Izalith and her daughters of Chaos; Nito is the first of the dead. And only a certain Pygmy, so easily forgotten, received a soul not like everyone else - a Dark Soul. With their newfound power as lords, they, led by Gwyn, challenged the dragons. Gwyn, supported by his knights, ripped apart their stone scales with lightning. The Witch of Izalith and her daughters wove firestorms. Nito sowed the miasma of death and disease. In addition, there was a traitor among the dragons: Seth. He joined Gwyn's rebellion and, along with everyone else, destroyed his family. Unlike the others, a certain Pygmy divided the received soul among all the unliving, the fragments of the Dark Soul became known as "humanity".

Gwyn and his companions, after defeating the dragons, moved to Lordran, the land of the Gods. The newly formed pantheon of Gods settled in a place called Anor Londo. Sith, as a reward for helping in the rebellion, was given a piece of the lord's soul, the title of duke, as well as an inheritance near Anor Londo, which was called the "archives of the duke". There, Sith began his research to find immortality, planning to create the scales of immortality using a crystal stolen from the eternal dragons.

Lordran flourished for quite some time. But over time, the flame naturally begins to go out, and if it goes out completely, then the era of the Gods will end. The Witch of Izalith decided to recreate the "First Flame" in an attempt to prolong the Age of Fire, but failed. Instead of a flame, a "bed of chaos" was created (the Witch herself became a part of it). The perverting power of the flames spawned hordes of demons, and also caused irreversible changes in the vast majority of the inhabitants of Izalith, including the two daughters of Chaos and the son of the witch Izalith. With the fall of Izalith, the magic of fire was lost, instead pyromancy appeared, the creator of which was one of the surviving daughters of Chaos Quilan.

Seeing that the flame goes out, Gwin sacrifices himself (gives away his mind and the remnants of his soul) in order to maintain it artificially. Thus, he became the Lord of Ashes and extended the Age of Fire for another thousand years. Since then, maintaining the flame has been done by kindling fires in Lordran through the sacrifice of "humanity".

A hundred years before the events of the game, an epidemic broke out in the world, many people began to manifest the Sign of Darkness. Those branded with this sign possessed the curse of immortality. After death, they became undead - the walking dead, gradually losing their mind and humanity, until they completely turned into "hollow" - thoughtless disfigured creatures.

Beginning of the game

The initial choice of character determines the entire further strategy of the game. In Dark Souls, you can choose a "gift" (Gift). So, select the "master key", it will really come in handy. In all other respects (appearance, physique) have fun as you want.

Northern Undead Asylum

So, you are the living dead, who has not yet become "hollow" (the local analogue of a zombie). We start with the fact that the protagonist escapes from the northern "refuge of the undead" with the help of a stranger and learns from him about the prophecy that the chosen one will leave the shelter, go on a journey and ring the awakening bells that are located in the lands of the ancient lords, Lordran, which will help him find out "the fate of the undead." So, take the key and opening the grate - we run further. Here it is the nearest fire, and the doors through which you must enter. Remember the main thing, sitting down and resting by the fire, you thereby resurrect all the creatures that you had previously killed very carefully. Bonfires in the game also have the following properties:

1 - A kind of checkpoint (after death, you will appear at the fire where you last sat).
2 - The opportunity to come to life. Reviving requires one unit of humanity from you. When revived, you get the opportunity to kindle a fire (kindly), thereby increasing the number of sips in a flask, as well as the ability to call a friend for help.

Immediately, as you enter the door, do not stand, for the terrible demon is already waiting for you. Run to the far left corner, there is salvation. We run to the nearest location, where they give us a shield and a sword. Bring down a couple of skeletons and now, behind bars, a knight is visible out of the corner of your eye.

And now, the wall behind is broken and a fallen warrior is waiting there, who will tell a lot of interesting things, give the key to the grate, give a “flask”: a drink that restores vitality. Remember that initially you can only take 5 sips, to increase the capacity you need to kindle a fire (by sacrificing humanity). Don't forget to open the door on the right down the stairs. It opens only from this side, and in the future it will come in handy. We go back a little, and climb up the stairs from where the stone fell. There are several dead and the first boss waiting ahead.

The same demon with a mace from which we escaped a little earlier. As soon as you enter, jump from above and click on the blow. Half of life is like it never happened. And then try to stay behind him and run away when he takes off, otherwise he can crush his ass.

Having coped, we open the doors and run forward. Ahead of you is waiting for a "transport" to be transported to the Firelink Shrine.

Firelink Shrine

After resting by the fire and increasing your level, you can run for a good sword. You shouldn't "come to life" here, because. most likely taking this sword, you will die. We run from the fire a little to the right and to the left of the peasant sitting on the step you will see a ladder.

We go down the elevator to the very bottom and exit to New Londo Ruins. Here we have nothing to do yet, so we run to the right into the neighboring turret

If you followed my advice and took the master key, then we will open the grate and get into Valley of Drakes. We run forward, cross the abyss along the bridge and turn left. Forward, until we see a peacefully snoring dragon.

Next, you need to act quickly. We run as fast as we can to him, and while he wakes up, we must have time to collect all the "gifts" at his feet. Most likely you will only have time to grab two) But it will be a good Astoria’s Straight Sword and Dragon Crest shield. Here, only to use the sword you need to have Faith -14. So swing the faith.

Firelink Shrine

From the fire we turn to face the well and see the rise up

After killing a couple of ill-wishers there is a chance to get a "gift".

Jump down, to the left near the column, only carefully. And having run all the way through the thin isthmuses, you will receive the Ring of Sacrifice (a ring that allows you to save everything that you have accumulated after death. Only the ring will break. Take care of it, it will still come in handy). We go upstairs, run through the sewers and find ourselves in

Undead Burg

We run forward, kill the guys and go into the fog. Then you will find yourself in the square and face a choice, either run straight to the stairs and get to the fire, or turn right and meet with two spearmen (by the way, it’s better to kick these comrades first, and then chop them) and a merchant. Run upstairs, you will return to the spearmen. And the merchant sits downstairs, you just need to break the boxes.

It’s worth buying a lot from this comrade, or rather, it will be easier for us to live if we buy: ShortBow + arrows of 100 things, you can take Standard, Firebomb 50 pieces, and take Repair Box (repair broken weapons) and BottomLess Box (store excess trash, not to be overwhelmed). I understand that there won’t be enough showers for everything, but save up, then I’ll tell you how to do it faster.

We return to the fire, pump a little and continue the path. Now to us to the left, through the bridge which is thrown by bombs. Run across it, but be careful, there are 3 ghouls right behind it. After killing them, run into the house on the right, except for two villains, there is also a pleasant surprise in the chest. After examining the area, at the same time heaping on those who threw bombs, do not rush, run into the tower, there is an extremely nasty archer who likes to shoot treacherously in the back. Well, open the door, there is a gift (for master key owners)

Having dealt with the villains, you can look to the right before running upstairs. The knight is waiting there. Extremely evil character. If you decide to fight him, then I advise you to try to sneak up from behind and stab him in the back. After that, lure him into an open area (for example, a square) so that there is room for maneuver, and try to run behind him. After killing him, you will receive a Blue tearstone ring (increases defense when there is little vitality left) and a titanium chunk for pumping weapons.

We are up. Carefully, they will drop a burning barrel from above. Having a master key, the door in the tower can be opened, but I do not advise if you do not have 50 fire bombs (the figure is approximate, you may need more, or maybe less). So, going upstairs (break the barrels along the way, a lizard will jump out. If you kill it, you will get valuable ore for pumping), the second boss is waiting for us.

Don't run straight ahead, turn around and go up the stairs. There you need to kill two archers. Kill, go down and run forward. As soon as the boss jumps out, turn around and gallop back to the tower. As soon as you see the boss below, jump on him while swinging your weapon. Hurt, up again. 4 times should be enough.

Having won, we run straight to the bridge. We turn right, down the stairs and there the knight of the sun is waiting for us.

After talking with the warrior, you will receive a chalk for leaving call inscriptions (the ability to call a friend if you are online), as well as a promise that he will help you in the future. Run across the bridge as fast as possible and try to run to the middle, without even fighting the ghouls, and jump down the right downstairs, otherwise they will fry. We run into the left passage and drop down the stairs.

I hope that you have purchased everything we agreed on from the merchant). If not, then there is a great way to "farm" souls. You run out to the dragon bridge, and immediately run back down the stairs. Behind the fire is blazing, and you have 500 souls in the piggy bank. We sat by the fire, and repeated, etc.

By the way, this very fire can also be “pumped”, because. we will return to it more than once (you need to have 2 humanity. Do it - reverse hollowing, then kindly). There will already be 10 flasks, and this is extremely useful.

So, we go upstairs and see a magnificent picture:

This most dangling tail is our goal. From a bow, you will need 50 shots, unless of course accuracy allows. As a reward we get a magnificent Drake Sword. It will be very useful to us in the near future.

Now we better go back and have a sprint. We run out to the bridge with the dragon and stand immediately behind the stairs like this:

As soon as the dragon lands, we run out and rush behind him to the saving fire, not paying attention to any obstacles. All! Fired up! Phew! Pull the lever faster and the passage to Undead Paris will open. You can go here and across the bridge, where we shot the dragon's tail, killing the rats and climbing the stairs. If you go even higher along it, you will meet a black knight. But I would not advise you to meet with him yet, because. not enough room to maneuver. Yes, and the “sprint” method is more optimal, because. opens us a faster passage between locations.

Undead Paris

A bullock is ahead, several swordsmen, 2 archers. Just around the corner - watch out for the spearman. First we go up the stairs to the right, kill the archers, the spearman (the rest will come running, so we act quickly). Now it's time to fight the bull. It’s not so scary, try to run from the back, and then you get a very effective “enema”. Or throw bombs from above.

When you go down, don't rush. They like to attack from around the corner. We rise upward, we pass into the fog and prepare for a meeting with the knights. Turn right at the fork. The first knight is waiting there, who stands with his back and it is very convenient to sneak up on him with a backstab. Behind him is a very good shield.

Turn left before the bridge and open the grate. Shorten the path from the fire. I advise you to return to the bridge and not go directly through the mausoleum, because. how three knights will run out of it at once, a magician will stand at the top, and a giant guards the altar.

So, across the bridge, down and to the right. A bonfire and a blacksmith are waiting there.

After sitting by the fire, talking with the blacksmith, I really hope that you have leveled up enough to arm yourself with DrakeSword. Climb up and run to the mausoleum. There is a giant waiting for us. He is not so scary, because he is very slow. Try to run from the back and stay close to the altar, because. on the second floor is a magician. If he notices, the battle will become more difficult.

After finishing with him, take the Fire Keeper Soul (the soul of the fire keeper. If you give it to the keeper, the flask will restore more lives). Now ride the elevator. Climb down and find yourself in the Firelink Shrine. Remember where we went down for DrakeSword? Here we go down the stairs to the cage where the fire keeper sits. Give her the Fire Keeper soul and run back to the elevator. Now we're up the stairs

Be careful, there is a knight, then just a huge crowd of ghouls. Lure them into the corridor, it will be easier. Well, the magician is not so scary, with our weapons. Get him down!! Further, behind the magician, on the left, you will see a passage upstairs. Meet the knight and find the prisoner.

Having freed, we return back and along the ladders to the very top. Ahead of us is waiting for the fog and the boss. If you are in living form, then right in front of the entrance you will see a call mark from the knight of the sun.

Two gargoyles are waiting for us.

It is advisable to kill one before the second appears. Try, as usual, is behind, so that they do not pour fire. If you cut off the tail, you will receive it as a gift. Winning - to the tower. We rise to the very top and ring the bell. Returning to the fire near the blacksmith, and having pumped, we go to one interesting place, for a useful little ring.

So, we return to the hall with two elevators. We go down on one of them, but you have to jump out of it, a little earlier than he goes down to the very end. We are back at the Firelink Shrine again.

Running a little forward and to the right, we see a narrow column, that's where we need to jump. If you fall down, don't be upset. There is a lot of "tasty", and the elevator goes not only down, but also up.

Climbing up the beam, we immediately see the roof and the corpse on it. You have to jump there. Let's take a useful key from him.

We jumped down, again on the elevator, along the beam, up the stairs and run out to the nest. We run into it and press X. In a few seconds they will fly for us. We returned to

Northern Undead Asylum

We run straight, just be careful, the ghouls are no longer such weaklings as they were. Running out into the hall, run straight, only along the edge. The floor in the middle falls through and you get to the boss, the same as the training demon, only now he is much stronger. Don't take unnecessary risks. To the right is a fire. Then we run to the left. There is a wisely opened grate by us. A warrior runs straight ahead. It's not that complicated, but still quite agile. Having filled it up, you will get a good Crest Shield. We run into the grate and run to the very top. Here, again they will throw a stone at us. We are further. Remember, this is where you went to the first boss. We run past, there are two ghouls, and a grate. Now we can open it. Immediately behind it is a corpse with the Rusted Iron Ring we need (allows you not to lose speed while running waist-deep in water). After picking up the ring and running a little further, we can walk through the sewers to pick up the Peculiar Doll. For this, it is necessary to return to the place where we were "reborn" and began our journey. Just be careful, there is a black knight.

Actually, here our business is over, we can return back to the nest and go to FirelinkShrine. We go up the elevator, and run to the blacksmith, pump weapons, relax by the fire. Ahead of us is waiting dark forest. We go down from the blacksmith and meet with a headless demon throwing electricity. The best tactic against him, it seems to me, is the following: we take a bow, stand behind some beam that electricity does not penetrate and methodically shoot.

Darkroot Garden

We run straight all the time, we don’t turn anywhere yet. Many trees will want to "meet" you. They are not that difficult, but stay away from them. If they grab it, it will be very unpleasant. We run to a beautiful door. We can’t enter it yet, but if you hit the brick wall on the left, a passage to the fire will open.

To the right of the door there is a passage, we run there and straight ahead. We are afraid of a corner on the right in front of the fog, because. there sits an extremely unpleasant company of 3 trees. We pass into the fog. In this location, it is better to go "alive". But if you are not confident in your abilities, then first look around. Now, the main task is to fill up the mini-boss: Beautiful Butterfly. But on the way you will get a bunch of trees, and a few giant knights. I did this: As I entered the fog, I tried to keep to the left side and ran around the location in a circle until I reached the ruins. A knight sleeps at the entrance. While he was waking up, I ran inside, and immediately under the stairs in the bushes called the witch Beatrice. Further, you only need to go upstairs, and not let the butterfly kill you. The witch will do the rest for you.

After defeating the butterfly, climb up the tower and take the gift. Climb back, and it's best to return to the fire. And to the fire near the blacksmith and even further. You can certainly explore the location, but I find it quite problematic, so it's better to return to it later. We return to the fire, climb into the hall with gargoyles and knights, and run further. We need to return to the place where we first met the dragon, where we got the "white crayon" for the bridge. The door was closed there. Now we will definitely open it using the Basement key.

Through the door, down the stairs and turn right here

Up the stairs. You will open the grate, which will make our way from the fire (where burning bombs were thrown on top of us) much closer. Having opened the grate, having rested by the fire, we return back and go down. Careful, there are 3 dogs ahead. Nasty creatures, I'll tell you) Having straightened out, turn right from the stairs (behind it), meet a bunch of ghouls and collect gifts.

Further, going straight, you will meet with a local thief. They hide in houses, so move slowly and be prepared. They attack in threes and from the back. Stay away from them, they like to jump on their backs and make a "Colombian tie". Just around the corner, a couple more dogs and three more thieves. Check the houses where they run out. There are gifts there.

Well, here is the CapraDemon boss:

In the fight against him, try to immediately run up the stairs on the left - up and hide in the right corner (there is a thin isthmus along the wall). Then you can calmly deal with his dogs, well, the demon is already going. Either throw bombs, or jump on top and stick a weapon in it (I did both together). The main thing is not to fall under his double blow. After winning, take the key to the sewers. We leave from the Demon and go down the stairs.

You will see a thief ahead. Do not rush to him, there is another one hiding right behind the ledge. So, it's better to lure one at a time. On the right side of the wall there will be a door that will lead us to

Dephts

We go down lower and lower, a few ghouls, dogs, and a couple of wonderful butchers. Put on the Rusted Iron ring, it will be easier to run in the water. Behind the butcher, if you break the barrels, then jump into the passage, and you will find yourself over a huge rat.

Jump from above and chop from the heart. Collect gifts. And then go down the left edge of the drain (clinging to the wall)

As you go down, on the right around the corner, there will be a ladder up. Open the door and go up the stairs. Break the boxes, again to the right and up and to the left there will be a door, and behind it a fire. From the fire, let's run straight ahead to kill the second butcher. You never know, it will be necessary to return, and he can become an obstacle for a traveler exhausted by battles. So, straight ahead. Careful - slugs fall from the ceiling. So they are not very scary, but they are killed for a long time. And if they fall on your head, it will be quite unpleasant. "Having spoken" with the butcher, do not go downstairs, there is nothing to do there, from there we could come if we had not found a secret passage through the rat. Run straight.

And release the prisoner in the barrels. Just be careful. Do it with a jump, but not with a sword. If you hit him, he will be offended and may attack you. Well, actually, now boldly return to the fire. And we will continue our journey in Depths.

Going down, you can shorten the path by breaking the box and going down to where we defeated the rat, this will be short cut to the boss, but we'd better walk. There are many interesting things. And most importantly, this is a walking magician, who must be killed, otherwise the battle with the boss will be many times harder. Run down, kill the rats, beware of the boxes, they sometimes hide in them too. After passing through the fog, you will meet three giant rats and the same magician.

When you get off, turn right. You can explore the left corner first. There, beware of two rats in boxes, and at the very end behind the column is a gift. So let's run to the right. There is a great chance that you will fall down in the passage. Beware of big-eyed toads. Although they are easy to kill, they release a disgusting gas, and you risk being "cursed". This is fraught with the fact that, firstly, you will immediately die. Secondly, you will only have half of your life left. Cures can only be cured by using a Purging stone (you can buy it from Oswald for 4000 (where we rang the first bell)). Actually, if there is no stone, then run and buy. You can buy, of course, from zombies (he is behind bars (as soon as we leave Depths and run through the sewers to the Firelink Shrine)) but this stone costs 6000 for him. There is another way, this is to put on a curse ring. But it's in New Londo, and we haven't gone there yet.

After running through the lower floors, you can find the Ring of the evil eye. Useful because it restores your life when you kill enemies. But the percentage of restoration is so small that it is of no particular interest, so, rather, for the collection. So we are interested in this place:

We run straight from it, and turn into the right passage in front of the bars. A merchant is behind bars. I do not advise him to buy weapons, they are non-repairable. Up the stairs, to the right, and then down and down again. And here we come to the boss:

This is a crocodile. Try to stay behind him and be afraid of paws. Cut off the tail, get a gift, and life will become easier. The tactics against him are simple. He lifts his head, after which he hits the floor with a flourish. Immediately we begin to run around him, trying to run back. He makes a run to where you were standing and stops to cock his head again. So take advantage of the moment - chop! After killing him, we get the key to continue our journey.

We run from the fire to the location to the merchant, from whom I did not advise buying weapons. There is a door in front of us, now we can open it.

We carefully descend the ladders and almost immediately, a huge monster with a club runs at us, followed by another one. They are quite clumsy, so use backstabs (stab from the back). And here we are in my "favorite" location:

blighttown

Run straight ahead first. Nasty, incomprehensible cannibals will still attack you. They are quite frisky. Beware when they jump. Grab and start eating, bastards. If you survive after this feast - happiness. Behind this ledge, turn right. There sits a shooter who shoots with poisoned arrows.

From it, go down the stairs and run back. At the end you will find a gift. Be always ready. Cannibals sometimes come running from quite afar, and just when you least expect them. Look around more often. We took the gift, go upstairs and go further, upstairs, and turn into the left fork. There you can jump for a gift - a rare sword Laito. Having picked up the sword, we jump off to the right and here it is, a saving fire.

From the fire you can run back, where we jumped from the sword, and there, running along the rickety bridges and killing the fire dogs, collect several gifts, including humanity. But our path lies only forward. A cannibal and a couple of dogs are waiting for us ahead, and here you can see a mollusk. We are here.

We go down the stairs. Be careful, there are a lot of creatures here, and upstairs, on the tower on the right, there is also a sniper. We go up to him, kill him and run for him, along the bridges, there are a couple of cannibals here, go down the stairs and find ourselves behind the mollusk. I shot him with arrows from afar. It's not necessary to kill him, but it's nice to get a new magic for the pyromancer as a reward? We go back and now our path lies a little down (from the place where we climbed to the sniper).

Be careful - both a monster with a club and an ogre are waiting below. Draw out in turn. We go down, we pass into the fog and there are many bridges ahead with huge cockroaches spitting fire and mosquitoes, poisoning not only your life, but also your soul :). There are an infinite number of mosquitoes, so it is better to run away from them. On the way you will meet a sniper. Do not be too lazy to run up and fill him up, especially since he has a good gift behind him. Run to the very bottom, and as you get down from the last bridge, tear to the right. There will be a tunnel and a saving fire. Just be careful, the swamp is poisoned (the grass that fell from the trees in the Darkroot Garden helps against poisoning). Fortunately, as you sit down by the fire, the effect of the poison will stop.

After resting by the fire, run deep into the tunnel. Below is a chest with a gift. Then there are two scenarios for the development of events. Either you can run around the swamp, collect gifts, or go straight to the boss. I suggest the second one. To do this, first become alive. And run out of the tunnel. Turn right, bring down the first cockroach, and the phantom Mildred will come running almost immediately. A sort of half-naked aunt with a huge cleaver. Kill her for humanity and her cleaver. On this same humanity, you can pump a fire up to 10 flasks. So, all preparations are made. We leave the tunnel, again to the right, again the cockroach and further to the left to the column. Wear the Rusted Iron ring, of course, otherwise the poisoning will torment you. From the column you will see the entrance to the hole.

In the hole, run straight, there you will meet ugly creatures with blisters on their backs. It is better not to touch them, they themselves do not attack. But, if disturbed, then a bunch of slugs fall out, which you are tormented to kill. So we are in front of the fog and alive. And now we see that the same phantom Mildred left you a “hello” and an offer to call her for help. Why refuse a lady? 🙂

And here she is, the beautiful and terrible Chaos Witch Quelaag:

We try to keep her behind, and we are afraid of the lava that she spews. The “explosion” is especially unpleasant, but it will be easier with Mildred. After killing her, we tear right into the opened gate and fly up. Here it is, the second bell. From the bell we go down and standing on the platform, on the right we will knock on the wall. A passage will open where our former pyromancer Eugene with "blisters" on his back is waiting for us. Don't kill him, just talk and he will let you through. Here is a fire, which I strongly advise you to kindle (it will come in handy later), where we can level up and sister Quelaag, who by no means wants to talk to us, because we killed her sister. But on the other hand, it will allow you to join the conventant or pump the flask up to +2. By joining the conventant, you will receive new magic for the pyromancer. Turning right from the sister and running through the tunnel, we will find ourselves in

Demon Ruins

There is a fire here, which you can not kindle, because. we have an extremely high chance of dying, and there is no point in returning to it. The only thing that interests us here so far is the gift that we will take, and after that, most likely we will die. So, spend all the souls before this trip. So, we run straight and take it to the right. Entering the fog, we run straight. The boss is up ahead. He will not touch us until we take what we came for. Slightly forward in the wall there is a passage. Remember him, this is where we will try to hide from him when he rushes after us. We take a gift (a set of clothes with good fire protection) and immediately tear from there. Now let's try to fill up this boss (for this, we run into the passage and stand on the corner. The boss comes out in the middle and tries to get us with his paw. When he hits, roll back, and while he pulls his hand, run up and hit.) No matter how events unfold, nevertheless, we snatched off a good piece of clothing. So, we returned to the place where Quelaag was killed, we run out of her chambers and run straight. Careful, here are the same goblins throwing stones. Therefore, I would suggest that you first return to the fire in the tunnel, and then, having “fixed” there, explore the location, and here, believe me, there is something to profit from.

Running from the tunnel again to the right, you will come across a wooden tower with a wheel:

Climb up there, and crawl along the stairs to the very top and to the right. There are a lot of interesting things here, starting from the souls of dead warriors, and ending with the Fire Keeper soul. Having searched this place, go down. Near the column closest to the right-most goblin with stones (on the islet of Quelaag) sits a witch (suddenly come in handy). Now we should run around the perimeter of the swamp, looking into every corner. There are many gifts lying around here. How you will do it, decide for yourself. Either fight with everyone you meet, or just arrange a marathon. The choice is yours. Climbing up the wooden platforms, we can jump straight into valley of dragons, and from there to Firelink Shrine near.

So from the fire to Firelink Shrine we go to the left of the head (by the way, you can sell unnecessary rubbish to her, it’s a pity it’s not expensive.

We go to the cemetery. Here, in the depths, on the right, just behind the giant skeleton, lies a corpse with a beautiful Zwaihander sword. Beware of skeletons, extremely unpleasant creatures. Grabbing the sword, we quickly retreat from here to the blacksmith, and pump our weapons from him. Collected souls will come in handy. Zwaihander is pumped at the blacksmith to +5, then it is more difficult. Now we have a difficult mission ahead of us. Go to the DarkRoot Garden, and even accumulate 20,000 souls (that's how much the Crest of Artorias costs at the blacksmith, but believe me, it will pay for itself with interest). So, already familiar to us

Darkroot Garden

Only now, we do not run straight, but at the first turn we turn right

and start going down. We resort to Darkroot Basin and here on this fork

don't run straight, but go back and down. A knight is waiting for you there, and behind him there will be a fire in the mountain. Having rested, we run back, go upstairs and now we are straight ahead. You can run to the left (to the tower) where you can kill a knight with a huge club and take the Havel Ring from him. The enemy is very strong, I warn you right away. But he is afraid of backstabs (however, like everyone else). We run straight. There are crystal golems here and a hydra looms in the distance. Golems need to be dealt with. Otherwise, they will not give you life. Hydro is not difficult. We get up to the place where the corpse lies, take uniforms from it and wait until the hydra starts sticking its heads. We chop them off in turn and victory. Actually, things are over here. Now we still need to purchase Crest of Artorias from the blacksmith. "Swing souls" Bought? Excellent! Run to Darkroot Garden to a door that could not be opened.

Now it will open. Secure yourself by the fire, and then we will farm the souls. This is done like this: the place where we should resort to is remembered (here it is, in the very bottom corner on the right)

Now let's run forward. The mage starts shooting at us. We run around him, and run to this corner. A couple more warriors will follow us. But they will run from above, jump and fall into the abyss. You will get 5 thousand for one trip). When you pump up enough, pump your weapon (fortunately, it’s not far to run to the blacksmith) and your level, you can go for a useful ring. We go to the right of the entrance to our door - to the location where we reached the butterfly. It's time to explore it. Having dealt with the trees on the right, we enter the opening and we are interested in a living tree on the right.

We attack it and a passage opens further. A little down. Ground stingrays attack there. Farther. Another tree (pumped Zwaihander takes out with 2 hits). And we see the passage to the top on the right. Us there. Careful - there is a sleeping knight. And behind him is the Wolf Ring. That is what we were interested in. Now you can either fully master this place, including the one where we fought with the butterfly (there is a Partizan spear and a couple of goodies), or return to the fire and prepare for a meeting with the boss.

From the fire to the door. We capture more defenders and drop them into the abyss (see above). And now we need to run to the tower. Right from the door all the time. There is a cat sitting there. Talk to him. If you join the conventant, he will give you a ring, and in the forest you will be treated kindly, but at the same time, “swinging” as before is no longer fate. If you play online, then with a ring on, the cat will call you to protect the forest.

Now I propose to go back, rest by the fire, put on the Wolf Ring, can pump the fire up to 10 flasks, and rush through the tower with the cat down. To the boss. We run straight to the tower, straight from the tower, and here is the gate ahead

And behind them:

So, the sword was pumped, the levels were all raised, and now we are waiting for

Sen's Fortress

As we run in, there is a trap button in the middle. Cling to the right wall and run further. As soon as the pangolin runs out, go back and press the button. 3 arrows to stick into his back and it will immediately become easier for you to fight the second one.

We run straight. Ahead is a bridge with swinging blades, and behind them is another lizard. Do not fight him on this narrow isthmus. Run further. It’s easier to fight there, plus there’s a chance that he’ll be thrown off with a blade, and a lizard with lightning won’t reach you. Up the stairs. Ahead is an electric lizard, and behind him is a trap.

Run further. The lizard that sleeps below is not necessary to touch. Let's run ahead. Wait until the stone rolls and tear what is urine next to the wall - go ahead. You will have time to run to the saving opening on the left. We enter the fog. Stay in this room. First, an electric lizard will come running, and then a regular one. Having dealt with them, run out to where the stones roll down and run up. There is a chest and Ring of steel protection, which increases your defense against attacks. We go back and go back to the room, further into the corridor and be afraid of the trap button. Further, again stones.

Ride and run right after him, and in front of the pit turn left. Right in the middle of the room is a chest. Do not open it, but cut it with a sword. If you win, get an electric spear. Its plus is that they can attack from defense. Left elevator. Having stood on it, do not hesitate for a second until it rises, otherwise you risk being on spikes. Up the stairs, to the right and down, and then up to the stone distributor. We turn it around so that the stones fly in the direction from which we ran. Then they will break through the wall where the "sleeping" lizard stood. Let's turn the distributor again, and calmly go down this passage. Lizard after a couple of stones is gone. We can go and have a look.

Here we are interested in a wizard who can be released, and in a distant cage - a gift. Now we can go back. In the place where we run after the stone, do not turn left from it, but run straight ahead. There, on the window, there is a wonderful Covetous Gold Serpent Ring (increases the possibility that something useful will fall out of their dead). Taking the ring, take your time, stand in the corner, let the pebble roll, otherwise it will crush it. Return back to the distributor. A narrow corridor goes from it (be careful, there are traps).

Straight, to the left, up the stairs, carefully - blades, and then beware, on the right, in a narrow corridor, there is a lizard. Fill it up, run to the left wing, there is a lizard and ore. Now we are upstairs, we bring down the electric lizard, again swinging blades and then a narrow isthmus with blades and an electric lizard on the right. Behind the blades are two traps - carefully, and on the right is the entrance to the fog.

As we enter, we immediately turn left, go up the stairs, up again, and there will be a hole on the right. You can jump down and there is a fire. Now, leaving the opening where the fog was, turn right. Run. Here are a couple of knights and Flame Stoneplate Ring (increases protection from fire). We return back, again on the stairs. And keep to the right. A knight is visible in the distance.

Let's bring him down. Down the stairs, then up. There is an archer. Don't throw yourself at him, he removes his bow, and turns out to be a very skilled swordsman. Further up and there are two chests, one of them contains the Rare ring of Sacrifire, the second contains Divine Blessing (a flask that completely restores health). We return back, and climb even higher up the stairs. Now I propose to arrange a sprint to fill up that scoundrel who is throwing fire stones at us. To do this, turn right at this intersection

In the building again to the right. Before us are two cells until they are opened. There is no key. Higher. Then the archer, and behold. Fog on the left, this is the passage to the boss. And on the right there will be an ascent to the giant. Bring him down and it will be easier to live on. Now you can go back to the crossroads and jump over the gap. In the corner is a merchant warrior. From it we go down to the very bottom, bring down the electric lizard and take the key to the cells. Now up, through the fault, forward and in the building you can turn right. There is a knight. Open cells. Now, if necessary, you can ride to the very beginning of Sen’s fortress and back.

Well, now we have to go to the boss. I propose to restore your bodily appearance by the fire and go for his soul. So:

On the left is the entrance to the boss, and if you run straight, then in the next tower we can call the Iron Tarkus knight for help. The boss is a huge knight. Together with Tarkus, it is not difficult to cope with him. Just don't let him get you. Having won, you can touch the ringlet and be transported to a beautiful

Anor Londo

We go down. You can not spend energy on the guards yet, but just run past. We run to the first square and in the left opening there is a fire.

Nearby is a keeper who can pump us a flask if we have a Fire Keeper soul. After resting and doing all the necessary, we run out of the fire and run straight to the moving platform, we move down on it. Up the steps, and downstairs a gargoyle is impatiently waiting for us.

Behind the stairs immediately to the left and run along the brown beam up to the cathedral. Carefully jump down and enter the broken window. Two white ninjas will immediately attack you. Having killed - we go up the stairs and we have a hard way along the beams. When you reach the chandelier, hit it to make it fall down. Then pick up gifts. Go down the stairs and enter the fog. Directly. There is a mechanism for turning the tower and a gargoyle is waiting.

Bring down the gargoyle, but do not touch the mechanism yet. Climb down and find a bonfire and Ring of the suns firstborn. So, now up, turn the mechanism and go down the ladder. And here we were at the bottom of the building, which not so long ago passed under the ceiling. Be careful, there are a lot of ninjas here. Draw them out one by one. Collect gifts and at the end you will see a huge picture. If you picked up the doll from Asylum, you will be transported to the Painted World of Ariamis. The world is quite complicated and you can return back only after meeting with the boss.

Now we can move on. Climb up the tower and forward to the cathedral. Two giant knights. Stay to the right, only one will attack. Lure him to the stairs and fight there already. Dealing with two is much more difficult. Having killed, we take to the right. There are flying creatures throwing electricity. If you run up to them closer, then they strike, and when they jump back, they often fall into the abyss. Then the problems begin.

Down and down we are two electric creatures, and in addition, two knights are shooting at us from a height. Their arrows are such that they can easily knock you down and throw you into the abyss. Therefore, we do not stop. We are moving all the time. Having filled up electric creatures, you can take a break, but hiding behind a column. Then wait a moment and run faster upstairs. Wait until the knight shoots, and run even higher. We turn right and bring down this shooter and enter the fog. The first door on the left and there is a fire. From the fire we run to the left. There are a lot of knights here. We bring down the first one, behind him is the door on the left, there is a fireplace. We chop on it, and the passage opens

There's a lot of interesting stuff in there, but the chest on the far right is a trap. Having collected usefulness, we rise along the ladder upward. Examine the nearest rooms, although there is nothing there, except for knights and a couple of gifts. We run around the stairs and go forward. Us in the left door. We open the room, behind it is the door and there, immediately to the right, a knight lurks. We go up the stairs and there are two knights at once. Start on the left. If you go down after him, then be prepared, there are a lot of knights. Zwaihander is here to help.

Us to the right. Bring down the archer and go down the stairs to the left - a demon, to the right are knights and two chests with gifts (take clothes). Now upstairs, we find ourselves with two giant knights, who also restore health. It is better to fill them up and turn the lever to open the gate (it will be more convenient to run). Now, before we go to the boss, let's go up to the very top. There will be a broken window

We go down there, along the steps, take the "Dragon Bow", jump even lower. Carefully, there are electric creatures. Open the grate on the side and run quickly to the blacksmith. Having finished all the cases, you can go to the boss. These are two acrobat brothers. They are quite complex. As soon as we kill one, the second gets the abilities of the first.

To the left is the lift to the fire. Pump up, get rid of excess loot. And go ahead, the princess is waiting for us. Most importantly, she will give us Lordvessel. And what's more, now we have a teleport, we can move between fires. If you fill up the princess, then the day will change to night. Go (warp) to the Firelink Shrine. Now forward to the head (which you can sell junk), it will transfer you to the "cauldron" where you put LordVessel.

If you have free souls, then I would advise you to upgrade any sword to +5 and turn it into divine. It will be easier. But, be that as it may, we go out to the cemetery. We've been here before, mining ZwaiHander. We keep to the left, go down the stairs and come to the catacombs.

There are solid skeletons and exploding heads. If you have a divine weapon, then you can kill skeletons. If not, then look for a priest who revives skeletons. Once you kill him, the skeletons in the immediate area will not respawn. We run down, to the right, we slide down, a couple of ladders, and on the left there will be a break in the wall, quickly go there

There is a priest, and a saving fire. First, press the button to open the door. Now go up and turn left. The skeletons that you will meet further will be reborn again and you need to look for a new priest. Beware of stone statues placed along the road, spikes can pop out of them. The next priest is waiting for us right on the other side.

Take your time, he is surrounded by a bunch of henchmen. So we go on the left side, the fog is already visible below

We don't need to go there yet. We run across the bridge and clean the right side. There are a lot of them, don't rush. We go into the barracks, immediately to the left from above the archer shoots, do not yawn. To the left, to the right there will be a nook with a gift and two skeletons at once. We go further, a little up and at the fork - to the left, here is an archer and a swordsman. Valim. Now a new priest is visible to the right and in the distance. The bridge is upside down - you can't cross it.

We turn right, carefully there are a lot of exploding heads, statues are traps, and the skeletons are already obeying the new priest ((. Right all the way and turn on the mechanism that turns the bridge. Back to the bridge, we bring down the priest. But he is not alone here, so do not relax. Forward, and down the circular staircase. On the right, another priest will sit in the opening. Kill faster and fight off the skeletons. Down further, and further in the opening on the right, there is another lever. We turn it and as a result, a passage opens to the place where we killed priest We rise upward, to the left, again to the left and we leave into the following arena.

Don't run to the bridge, run to reverse side and at the very end there will be a lever and a fire. Hit this wall (carefully, on the left is a trap statue). Warm up by the fire (it makes sense to pump it), and then climb up near the statue to activate the lever (here is your friend who activated the lever for you. Don’t be too happy though. As soon as you get to the bridge, he will turn it back.) If fill it up, then we get humanity and an ax.

So let's get down. We jump down and go outside. We run around the clearing, and inside the new building. An electric monster looms ahead.

You can fill it up, but for us - the first turn to the right. We jump down, there are two skeletons. We kill them, but only carefully, on both sides of the coffin, the floor is unreliable and there is a great chance to fall down. And the knight is waiting there. So we filled up the skeletons and go into the passage in the wall. Down the stairs and there is the last priest, two archers and a knight. We deal with them, and to the left. There will be skeletons in the "wheel". Block until they stop, and then cut. We run straight and here it is the entrance to the fog, to the boss. It's easy to kill him.

So, we go up the stairs to the right and enter into

Tomb of the Giants

Here is tin. There is no light at all.

And if you do not have a flashlight, then ... you need to find one. We go straight, guided by the glowing lights. First straight, then - the left light, further along the beam. Here is a skeleton (you will see two glowing eyes). Now along the right edge neatly down the beam. On the right is another skeleton. If you look down, you will see a corpse, jump to it

Watch out for the skeleton on the right. We wet it, and at the bottom right we see the eyes of the skeleton even lower. Jump with a blow, bring it down and then there will be a ladder and a fire behind it.

From the fire up the stairs and to the left on the edge, looking down, we will see 3 corpses.

2 "souls" and Skull Lantern (the same flashlight) We take it in the second hand (instead of a bow, for example) and shine. There is really one problem ... now there is nothing to defend ourselves)) We run further, keep to the right and up, here we will take the ore. Then to the left and up the narrow corridor. Then along the ladder and if to the left, then again to the fire. You can rest and continue.

We will not jump down from the fire, but let's go to the right. Here we are already met by giant skeleton dogs. Bring it down and most importantly do not forget, it is not at all necessary to hold the lantern all the time. Marked the enemy, and switch to the shield. Further, we see fog. It is not necessary to fight with all the creatures, there is a cavity immediately behind them, where you can safely jump. Only attention, there is a knight with an axe. Then even lower and take all the time to the left. Here it is, the fire! (it is better to pump it).

Having rested, we run down and keep to the right wall, then the creatures will not get you (or will not have time to get you). We run out to a gorgeous view.

We are to the right (if alive, then a phantom will be born in the far corner. Wait for him in the cave). There are a couple of skull towers and two skeletons. We run further. Inadequate magicians, and a bunch of small skeletons, which no matter how much you kill, still arrive. And now, we are at the entrance to the boss.

Break the beams, jump down, and here he is, Nito:

Beware of his screams (thorns pop up from the ground) and don't run towards him. Wait at the place where you jumped, because. there are still a bunch of giant skeletons behind him. In the meantime, try to fill up those little ones who attack you ( divine weapons to help).

So, we defeated Nito, upgraded and moved to the Firelink Shrine, here it makes sense to go for Large Divine amber first, so that we can upgrade the weapon to +15. We go down the stairs (where at the very beginning of the game we went for Astoria's sword). And we arrive at

New Londo Ruins

Now to us to the left on narrow bridges. There are ghosts ahead of us. They don't care about our weapons. They don't care about it. There is only one option for us: to curse ourselves for a while. To do this, Transient Curse was probably lying around in our inventory (if not, then: 1-in front of the first bridge, a corpse sits in a barrel. After killing it, we get a "hand"; 2 - it can be bought for 4000 from a dead merchant (in Firelink Shrine, run through the tunnel towards The Depths and he is behind bars)). We pass the first bridge and use the curse hand. Now ghosts can be killed (just be careful, although they fall easily, but when they are surrounded, it's a disaster). "Hands of damnation" is enough for a start and one, because. of the dead, it falls quite stably.

So, we used (put it in the quick access cell) and go straight across the bridge, there are a couple of ghosts here, and turn right. A gift is seen in the distance.

Careful, there are three more coming out. We take Fire Keeper soul and back, up the stairs.

We pass the first two arches (there are a lot of them) and down the stairs, on the right - fog. If you run a little further, there will be another "hand". And so, we enter the fog and go up the stairs. Run for the gift - wait for the attack from above. Throw the ladder down and clear the lower tier. Now you can go up.

The ghosts from below do not disturb, one step down, and there are really a lot of them here. To the right into the building, and then to the left. Gently, hiding in the walls, lure. You can immediately turn into the left corridor, but it's too early to go there. We run straight. Careful, there's an electric ghost in here. There is a ladder in the fireplace, up it, and we run out to the roof of the building to the magician.

He will give us the key. We go down, further to the left. At the end of the corridors is a gift. Now back, we turn to where we did not turn before (into a narrow corridor). Running to the right, you will find Cursebite ring (curse ring). And so something us in the first passage. Down the stairs you will find an ore for pumping and run upstairs. Then on the left to the tower, to the very bottom and open the grate (we already have the key). Drain the water by turning the lever

The water was drained, now you can go back a little and pull the lever. We go down. Knights are waiting for us here, and electric dragons loom in the distance. Extremely annoying opponents. It's best not to get involved with them. Once you've dealt with the knights and the creeping piece of dirt, you can go upstairs to the third floor and there's a chest with a Large amber. He is what we need. Now there are two ways, either go further and defeat the boss, or return to the blacksmith Andrey (near Sen's Fortress) and upgrade his sword. I suggest the second one, and then move on to the Dukes Archieves.

We are transferred to Anor Londo from the fire, go upstairs and turn left.

Ahead are two knights and chests behind them. On the right is another knight. Deal with it and move on. (all of these enemies are present if you didn't kill the princess). We go out into a long corridor and ahead of the bull. Strong opponent.

Around the corner, another one. After dealing with him, get a helmet. And here is the fire. We rest and move on.

Duke Archives

Pull the lever up. There are a lot of glass goblins here. I would advise you to save the ax until better times and fight with other weapons. A magician looms in the distance, bring him down and up the stairs, but first clear everything around. Near the wall, platform, pull the lever and up. Further along the corridor. The knight will run out. Let's bring it down into the fog. The crystal dragon is waiting for us. Before meeting him, put on a ring that saves all your souls after death. You cannot win this fight.

We die and ... we are in prison. The lizard sleeping right behind the cage has the key. We kill him and open the door. The gramophone turns on, which we will need to turn off. We turn right, two lizards run past. We are down. Look into all cells. Find useful things. There is a grate at the very bottom, a sorcerer sits behind it until we can open it, so we go up the stairs, be careful at the top of the lizards and turn off the gramophone. We take the key in the chest and go downstairs and run back to the very top. Remember that there are already two lizards sitting there that ran past us. So, go upstairs and open the door.

In the distance, two villains are waiting for us, one on the right with a sword, and one in the distance, with arrows. Lure the right one towards you and deal with the archer more carefully, another devil is hiding on the left. We climb the stairs and here - a bunch of magicians. One is immediately to the left. We bring it down and go down the stairs to the very bottom - there will be a fire on the balcony.

From the fire we go up the stairs and keep to the left all the time (do not forget about the fronts). Having run along the left corridor to the very end, you will see a chest. Hit him, because - a trap. Kill - get a crystal shield. Arm yourself, it will be more effective against these "devils". Further to the very top, and we reach the rotary mechanism (be afraid of the arrow).

After turning the stairs, we run up, to the left and below we see another turning mechanism. Just jump on it. Climbing up and to the right you will find a chest with a gift. And then go back and turn the stairs. We run down into the right archway, there will be an archer, we go down to the very bottom and pull the lever. The passage we need will open.

From the fire, back to the passage. In the left room there will be a chest with ore, and in the right (where we need it) chests with gifts and one trap. After examining, pull the lever and the path down will open.

We enter the fog and down. There are a lot of crystal golems here. Explore the area and run to the left, straight to

Crystal Cave

We pass a little further, turn right, here is a golem. Move on. All the time to the right and down. We need to go here:

It seems that there is no road, but it is. We go along it and fight with another golem (it will be stronger than others). We go behind him. And jump off to the left. Behind you will immediately be a cave.

We run there. And then all right on the "snowflakes". There are a lot of shells here, bring them down and then our old friend is waiting for us. Traitor Seth.

First you need to break the needle behind him, after that it will be possible to fight the dragon. Cut off his tail, get a magic sword - my favorite weapon.

Having won, we level up, and we can fly back to FireLink Srine, and finish our business in New Londo Ruins. We let the water down there, so we can directly run and bring down the boss in Abyss. After the first two ghosts, no need to run upstairs. Run straight across and jump down. Careful - there are knights.

We run straight ahead, slightly up. Here again are two knights and a dirty mass with spears. In addition, two exploding heads loom behind. Having defeated everyone, we take to the left and run out to the fog. To the right behind the columns is the seal of the witch. You can call her for help.

We put on the ring Coventant of artorias and forward down the stairs to the boss. Feel free to jump down. So boss. Four Kings. They appear in order. So, try to fill up the first before the appearance of the second and so on. I noticed that it is easier to fight kings alone, wearing the most powerful armor. Tumbling and jumping with them doesn’t really work. It is better to turn into a tank, and have time to be treated, chopping right and left.

After defeating them, kindle a fire, level up and fly to Daughter of Chaos. We have to go to

Demon Ruins

Straight ahead, into the passage to the right and exit into the Demon Ruins. We rest by the fire and run down. If it was not possible to kill the demon before, then now, the chances of defeating him are much greater. Defeat him, the lava will cool down and you will be able to go down even lower and continue on your way. We go down to the bottom and forward. There are a bunch of Capra Demons waiting for us here. Around the corner you will see two floors. There are a lot of enemies on the top.

Jump straight down. There is a fire. There is always time to go upstairs :). Just be careful, there is a huge slug. Do not rush to sit by the fire. Drop him first. We run further, statues shooting with fire attack, and below - Taurus Demon.

We enter the fog and a fiery demon is waiting for us. I fought him with ZwaiHander in two hands and wearing a ring and fire protection equipment. Having filled it up, we will continue our way.

We go down the stairs and rest by the fire. If you climb the stairs to the very top, then turn on the elevator to the Queelag Domain (it is extremely useful, you never know, because there is a teleport there). And so, we are down the roots and into the fog. Take your time, the demon is waiting right away. Wait at the entrance until he comes out on solid ground. Then fight. Lava is death. You need to try to be under him, it's safer there, but at the same time be afraid that he will grab and try to devour. Cut off the tail, quickly get the Orange Charred Ring, which allows you to run on lava (however, if you fill it up, you will also get it).

We go to the left, there will be a fire. The passage can be difficult to find, be patient. From the fire even more to the left, you can run on the lava, of course, but still not safe, so we run to the snag. We run along it and here we are

Lost Izalith

There are lava flows and heaps of dinosaurs that are extremely hard to kill. You can try to set them against each other, of course, but I preferred to run past. There are two towers in this location where you can hide from dinosaurs.

There is a fire in the second tower (you need to hit the wall). From the fire, if you go out and directly opposite you can see a piece of pipe, we go there. There is a saving root in the pipe and the way up. We climb, there are a lot of fiery statues, and you can change the ring to a more comfortable one. There is no lava. Up the stairs. Still up, into the tower and to the right. Up the stairs, be careful, there's a mage. Hurry up to arrange a "backstab" for him. On the right is another "pipe monster" and behind it is magic for a pyromancer. And so, to our left - into the fog.

After the fog, we roll down, and there immediately is a boss. Ride to the right. Break the base (like a root). And then run to the left, just beware of collapses. Then to the center, straight to the heart. The only nice thing about this boss is that if you soaked one half of it, then it no longer regenerates. After winning, rest by the fire and transfer to the Firelink Shrine and go to the head (or where it was) and put the rest in the bowl " souls."

Passage will open

Kiln of the first flame

There are no options here. We go forward, we fight (backstubs are preferable here) and finally we reach the fog. Here is Gwyn.

An extremely difficult opponent. Attacks constantly. If you can't work on counters, then try to catch him when he tries to grab you. Well, or call a "friend".

Have you won? Congratulations. The game is now restarted 40% harder.

A class is a specialized role chosen for your character at the start of the game. Each class has different starting abilities and different equipment. Thus, every time you start the game again with a new character, you completely change the style of the game at first. However, the initial class that you choose does not at all depend on who your character will eventually be in the later stages of the game. Any chosen class allows you to upgrade any statistics and use absolutely any equipment, if the statistics meet its requirements.

Information for beginners

In Dark Souls, you play as a living dead. Most of these dead are devastated or insane. The invisible society of the world of Dark Souls branded them with shame. You can reverse the hollowing process by spending humanity around bonfires so you look like a human. As a human, you can increase the chance of random items falling out, you can call other players for help, or other players can invade your world.

The class you chose at the beginning is just a configuration of characteristics, items and soul level ( soul level). It does not affect the final gameplay. If you're not sure which class to start with, then the Wanderer is a good choice. At the same soul level as other classes, hulks have more or a lot more stat points and can learn magic faster.

You are required to fight close, but the use of magic or small arms highly recommended, especially if you want to defeat tough enemies early on to level up faster. Magic can basically be learned from the appropriate teachers. Miracles are taught by Petrus Of Thorolund, magic by Griggs, and pyromancy by Laurentius. You will meet Petrus for the first time in Firelink Shrine - the "center" of the world in the game, you will save Griggs in Lower Undead Burg, and Laurentius from The Depths. Later, more advanced teachers will appear in the game. Catalyst and soul arrow magic can be bought almost immediately when you arrive in Firelink from a blacksmith in New Londo Ruins.

Bows are rarely used in combat, but they are useful for shooting stationary enemies or pulling enemies towards you. Short Bow (short bow) can be bought at the beginning of the game from the Undead Merchant in Undead Burg. If you buy this bow and about 100 arrows, then in the early stages of the game you can get a very powerful Drake Sword. Crossbows are used even less often, because they cannot be used for aimed fire.

Unlike Demon's Souls, objects are used to write inscriptions on the floor, evaluate them, mark them to help others, or invade an alien world. Orange Guidance Soapstone is bought from Undead Merchant in Undead Burg, White Sign Soapstone gives you Solaire of Astora if You agree to help him, and Cracked Red Eye Orbs can be found in various places around the game world. If you see a useful inscription, then be sure to rate it positively, as it will give the author humanity, and in turn this will encourage people to leave hints more often!

Dark Souls is a non-linear game and there are many options to play effectively or choose where to go. By experimenting with different weapons, spells and combat techniques, you will help yourself decide what you like best. There is no one in the game best weapon or Covenant (covenant / agreement).

Don't trust unverified fiction. For example, strength and agility stats have been stated to affect weapon swing speed and roll speed, respectively. This is not true. The swing speed depends only on the weapon itself, and the roll speed depends on the weight of the equipped equipment and one ring. Strength and Agility are only used to determine if you can effectively handle a weapon and to calculate weapon damage. Different weapons have different bonuses from strength and agility. A certain level of intelligence or faith may also be required for certain types of weapons and may also add bonuses to the damage of these weapons.

Imagine a world on the brink of collapse. Its population is undead, hope is fading. Will it be possible to change the future of the doomed?

Review

Released in 2011, the action RPG game has gained popularity very quickly. The merit of the "Golden Joystick" and exalted reviews of critics speak for themselves. The passage of the game "Dark Souls" will allow you to immerse yourself in the gloomy world of the living dead and try to break through to the light through the constant torment and death.

Choose your favorite role, hone the skills you need, make a unique set of weapons and armor. There is also the possibility of fights online.

Classes in the game

The passage of "Dark Souls" will depend on the choice of class only at the initial step. Then you can change all the properties if you want.

The game features subsequent roles. Warrior, knight, traveler, thief, bandit, hunter, wizard, pyromancer, cleric and destitute.

For beginners, the wanderer (traveler) class is better. At the same level as other characters, he gets more skill points and mystique obeys him faster.

If you like the game on the verge of death, and the pleasure of passing the mystical level cannot be compared with anything, then your choice is Dark Souls. The tool here will be different, but there is one secret for beginners.

Try to hit opponents from a distance. Small arms and a spell will help you with this. This will help pump faster, especially at first.
A good bow can be purchased in Andedburg. Immediately stock up on a hundred arrows for him. Crossbows are used very rarely, because in this game they are very difficult to hit.

Block and dodge, in principle, will be your most best friends. Often dying and resurrecting by the fire, you will gradually begin to master the wisdom of this world.

Plot

As such, the linear development of events in the game is obviously not represented. Locations are made in a "seamless" way and the main character has complete freedom of action.
To figure out where to go and what to do, you will have to talk with other characters, stare at the video clips that will be shown from time to time.

Life is dying out in the world, the dead are roaming alive. Our hero is one of them. In the original video clip, we learn briefly about past events.

The passage of "Dark Souls" is characterized by the openness of the world and complete freedom of decision.

The currency in this world is the souls of your opponents. For them, you can raise the level, repair weapons and armor, and purchase various items.

The second thing worth mentioning is humanity. This is the thing that main character found in various locations. With it, he can temporarily remove the effect of the undead, create more healing potion and access the online mode when connected to the web.

Covenants

The game "Dark Souls" introduces us to nine factions. They are divided into those who are aimed at PVE (battle with computer monsters) or PVP (battle with real players).

Here are their names:

  1. PvE Guild - Servants of Chaos
  2. PVP - Blade of the Black Moon, Forest Hunter, Black Wrath, Servant of the Grave Lord and the Way of the Dragon.
  3. Co-op mode - Path of Light, Guardian of the Princess and Warrior of Sunlight.

When you join any of them, you will sign a contract and accept tired. For violating Fri, you will be considered a sinner and members of the PVP factions will be able to hunt you.

The passage of "Dark Souls" can be greatly facilitated by joining a guild.

You can “wash” your reputation with Oswald in Undeparish. The price of the 1st level is 2000 souls.

The passage of the game "Dark Souls" is built on the principles of the old school. You will have to think and painstakingly calculate your actions. Here you will not be able to break into a mass of monsters and quickly kill everyone.

Even in the first locations there will be monsters that you can defeat only by reaching high levels.

This brings me to the first tip - don't storm everyone in order and save often. Maybe from time to time it is better to bypass or lure one at a time. Use a bow or magic for this.

Get yourself organized more often. Repair, restore stocks of potions, upgrade weapons.

Remember everything. The behavior of chefs during super-strike, unusual places and more. After dying a few times, you can master the strategy and then destroy more powerful monsters in the early levels. If you wish, you can use the Dark Souls Wiki database, which will significantly reduce your nerve consumption.

Chat with players if you run online, and with computer characters. Often you can get the help you need.

secrets

We buy a box from the first merchant. In fact, it comes out to be dimensionless. We put things there, later it will be possible to implement them.

2 skeletons at the beginning of the game should not be afraid. They need to be pulled to the cliff, during the battle they themselves will fall down.

The strategy of combat with certain opponents, especially with knights, is the next one. When a monster swings its weapon, such as a club, it must be hit with a shield. This parries and neutralizes his damage (press the left mouse button), then we beat him ourselves ( right button). And so on until victory.

If you find it difficult to defeat a certain monster, increase the humanity indicator. This will increase your defense.

The passage of "Dark Souls" is delayed from time to time due to the low level of the character. It is better not to rush at this time and go for a run, collect extra points. Locations where you can collect the most souls, humanity and titanite shards. 1st - Depths. Pretty easy to pass and farm. It is important to increase your resistance to curses and poison very much. You can "knock out" more than 4000 souls.

The next area is the Fortresses of the Seine. With sufficient skill and the elimination of all monsters, you get about 8,000.

Imp Ruins are also popular, although they are more complex than previous locations.

"Dark Souls 2"

Continuation of the sensational game in 2011. Now the main character sets off on a journey, trying to heal from the curse. The road leads to the kingdom of Drangleic, where, according to legend, it will be possible to remove the image of the undead from oneself and become an ordinary person. Refreshed combat mechanics, more developed abilities joint game online, the ability to teleport through bonfires from the start, and additional soul types for healing. These and some other innovations make the world of Dark Souls 2 inimitable. Passing it will be as difficult and exciting as in the first part.

This part is not a specific continuation. According to the plot, we learn that the kingdom of Drangleic was built on the ruins of Lordran (the name of the world of a unique game).

Configurations touched and battle mode against real players. Now the damage to them (or "invade") will turn out not only in the form of a person, but also in the form of undead.

Save souls. If you die, you will lose some of the supplies of this currency. Therefore, try to store a huge part in a safe place or spend more often on improvements.
By the way, pumping will only work with the Emerald Messenger in the town.

It will be possible to reset all possibilities. But don't pin your hopes on it too much, because you will need a Soul Vessel to activate it, and it is very rare.

Try to read the reviews in advance on the forums, in the Dark Souls Wiki reference book, form in your head the image and layout of the talents of your own future ruler of the world.
Burning certain things will be able to change the difficulty of the game, or contribute to the best pumping.

Are there many monsters chasing you? Life on the edge? But there is a staircase nearby. Let's hide without delay! This is the only salvation.

When pumping, pay special attention to endurance. She and she alone plays the most important role in Dark Souls 2. Passing with the least amount of it becomes unfeasible.

Try to unload the satchel very much. The weight of armor, weapons and junk in pockets can kill your character.

Be careful and don't jump on the rampage. Throwing on the mass in this game is not worth it. Also, correctly approach the filling of quick access cells. Often common sense will save your life.

Gender: Male
Class: Knight

Gift: Blessing of the Goddess

After setting up the character, we watch the introductory video. We rob the work lying nearby and use the key to unlock the door. We move along the corridor, climb the stairs. At the water, turn right and go up the metal stairs. In the open air we kindle a fire (preservation) in the center. We open the gate and go inside, we meet the Demon of Refuge. We will not cope with it, so we will turn into the passage on the left. We kindle a fire ahead, turn into the passage on the left. We move along a long corridor, at the other end of the enemy with a bow. We rob the encountered corpses and thereby obtain a shield and a more or less powerful weapon. We destroy the enemy when arrows fly at us - we substitute a shield, we pass through the white light. We go straight, then to the right, we rise up, then we are preparing to sharply dodge to the side so that the ball does not dare us. Follow his trail and go through the gap in the wall. We communicate with the dying, we get the key to the east wing. Let's go downstairs, reach the fire and rest. We return to the stairs, we rise upward. We deal with the meeting opponents, we pass through the white light.

BOSS: Demon Sanctuary

We jump right on it and hold down the strike button. If we're lucky, we'll use up about one-third of his health. We provoke the enemy to strike, sharply step back and go around him from behind. We continue to strike until he rises - in this case, you must definitely jump back. The shield will not help us, so it is advisable to hide it altogether.

We unlock the gate with the key and go through. We go straight until a bird appears and takes us away.

We arrive at the Temple of Fire, rest by the fire and increase the characteristics of the hero. Having turned around, we will see a slope, we climb up along it, finishing with the meeting opponents. We pass through the drain, climb the stairs. We go through the white light, continue moving along the wall, we will see a huge dragon. We deal with the enemies we meet. Those that are located on towers and other hills sometimes interfere with destroying other enemies, so first of all we will get even with them.

BOSS: Taurus Demon.

We will meet him on a wide and long wall. We turn around and run to the stairs on the left. We rise up and carry out a powerful attack in the jump (holding the strike button). You can do this a few more times, or just move away during his strikes and quickly sneak up on him from behind and attack accordingly.

We go further, we go down. We face the formidable flame of the dragon, we hide on the left or on the right. He will observe and as soon as he moves, we approach him on the right and chop off his tail. We pass into the tower, pull the lever on the left and move through the gate. We go straight until we find ourselves in a building where we meet large knights with shields. We rise along the usual, and then along the metal stairs. We get out on the roof and fight with two Gargoyles.

BOSS: Bell tower gargoyles.

The most important thing is not to run away from them, but to jump to the side. We attack these bosses in turn: as soon as we finish with the first one, the second one will appear, attacking exclusively with fire. This is where dodge skills come in handy.

We go further through the white light and climb even higher up the stairs. Outside there is also a ladder, climbing which we will find ourselves right under the bell. We pull the lever, we return back along the stairs. Let's go back to the original fire. From there we go down, stand on the platform, which will lead us to the cave systems on the other side. After passing through them, we will meet with arachnid creatures and a rather weak mini-boss. We continue to walk through the cave to the white light, passing through which we will meet a huge spider.

BOSS: Chaos Whitch Quelaag.

We try not to fall under the direct eruption of magma from the spider's mouth. Weak spots boss - on the sides of the mouth. When the enemy rises, be sure to retreat, so as not to be in the dome of defeat.

Having won, we pass through the white light and, having reached the lever, we pull it. We continue to move through the cave system. You will have to run a lot, at the very end we pick up the item and the angry boss starts to attack. Just run away from him to the white light. Then we wait until his hand is next to us, and deliver a powerful series of blows.
Let's return to the original fire and take the upper path. We go up on the lift. We only run straight, as soon as we see the stairs on the right - we follow down. We will meet a mini-boss, which you can simply ignore and get out into the forest. We get to the gate, go through them, go down and go even further into the dense thicket.

BOSS: Great Gray Wolf Sif.

A very fast and dangerous enemy. Sometimes it attacks suddenly, having previously dissolved in the sky. It is best to be under the Wolf, right under his belly, as this is the safest place.

We go to the previous fire and run straight along the narrow path. We run through the pendulum axes, climb up the stairs. Axes again, turn left and run as hard as we can. The main thing is not to miss the white light on the left. Then we climb higher and get out. We rise to the roof, where we face the boss.

BOSS: Iron Golem.

The enemy is not so fast, but has a wide range of attacks. When Golem swings, we go around him from behind and attack. Preferably on the left side, so as not to be grabbed by the right hand. You can run right between his legs to avoid being hit immediately.

We go down a very long staircase. We pass through the left building. On the bridge on the right we get to the tower, in the center of which there is a lift. Going down the steep stairs, immediately turn left and jump down a little. We move along the thin wall, go inside through the broken window, climb up and move along the beams. This must be done very carefully, because enemies also live here. At the end on the right below we will see a white light, we jump down and go through it. We run to the center, we rotate the mechanism. We pass further, along the wide stairs we climb upward. Immediately turn right, then right again and go down. Further, having passed a little, turn left and pass along a narrow bridge. We go inside the building through the white light. Behind the door on the left there is a fire, but the main path is ahead, up the winding stairs. We go along the corridor, turn left and find ourselves outside. Behind the enemy in the center there is a passage down. We run straight up, go down the stairs on the left. A large enemy lives here, turn right and go up the wide stairs; we pass through the white light.

BOSS: Dragon Slayer Ornstein / Executioner Smough

First, we will deal with a smaller enemy - a knight. His attacks are standard, but rather sweeping. Keep our distance and attack if possible. After the victory, the second boss will get a little stronger, and his blows will carry a powerful stream of electricity. We are afraid of a huge hammer and try to bypass the enemy from behind. With powerful outbreaks, we move back.

We pass through the white light and wait for the lift to go down. Having risen, we follow to the right to the stairs. After talking with the princess, we go back. We return to the original fire, go through the ruins and jump down. We put the received object on the bowl. Let's get to the roof of the building where we fought the previous boss. Let's go left, go through the building and get out on the right. We go up the stairs, along the path we go to the next building. Boars can be distracted by throwing objects to the side. We get to the lift and go up. We ended up in the library, climb even higher up the central staircase. On the balcony-elevator we activate the lever and go up. We get to the next boss.

BOSS: Seath the Scaleless.

At the first meeting, it will not be possible to defeat him, so we will try to do it in another location. We are afraid of powerful ice floes that are blown across the territory. We destroy the crystal on the opposite side and only then we begin the attack on the boss himself.

We return to the original fire, where we follow the ruins and turn left. We go down and look for the entrance to the cave. We go deeper and lower, go into the passage on the left, then a little further there will be a breach in the wall. At the bottom we push the mechanism and, returning back through the gap, we continue on our way. We need to jump to the very bottom and get to the white light. After passing through which, we will jump down and meet with the boss.

BOSS: Pinwheel.

The main problem is the copies of themselves created by the boss. They need to be destroyed in the first place, moreover, we concentrate attention not only on them, but also on the boss himself. We are constantly nearby, so that a little something, to be ready. However, this is not all the features of the enemy. He can still teleport and then it may become problematic to find the original among the copies. In this case, we deal with everyone who gets in the way.

We get out up the stairs. It is quite dark here, we are looking for a way down, jumping along the ledges. If you look closely at the ledges, you can see stairs along which it is convenient to go down. In the cave we break through the pieces of wood and follow through the white light. Once at the bottom, immediately proceed to the fight with the boss.

BOSS: Gravelord Nito.

First of all, we deal with the skeletons, and only then with the main enemy. Killing him is quite simple, the main thing is always behind, and with flashes, the light is to quickly move back.

Returning to the original bridge, we go down the twisted stairs. We use the lift, jump down and move along the wooden bridges. Further, on the stone and move through the building. We do not miss the white light on the right. We go up, follow under the arches, then turn left and go along the ledge. Through the first door that comes across, we go inside on the right. The next door you need is on the left. There is a staircase inside the fireplace. After talking with the man in red, we will go back down. We go out to the ledge, we pass along it to the end. We run to the next building, inside we go down and open the lattice door. We turn the mechanism and return to the ledge, where we jump down approximately in the corner and see a white light ahead. Let's jump to the very bottom, where we will face the boss.

BOSS: The Four Kings.

Darkness all around, nowhere to run. And so we try once again not to move away from the enemy and not to waste strength, but simply to simply attack with short breaks. During which we restore energy and health.

We return to the original fire and go to the location with magma. We get to the building, from there we get to the next location with trees, where the next boss awaits us.

BOSS: The Bed of Chaos.

To the right and left are red spheres, behind which important organs of the enemy are hidden. You need to destroy them first. We go to the center, we are afraid of the hand of a tree. Our task is to slip deep into the enemy and destroy the little heart.

We return to the original fire and in the ruins we look for the hole known to us. We jump down, kindle a fire and go further down the stairs to the fight with the final boss of the game. We cross the sandy territory.

BOSS: Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.

For maximum effectiveness, we need long weapons and strong armor. You will often have to dodge, take potions away from the enemy, and it is desirable that there is a stone between us so that the boss cannot fly up to us on a dash. By following these rules, though not quickly, we will effectively defeat the final boss.
