About the game

"Sacred" from the German company Ascaron is without a doubt the first game capable of replicating the incredible success of Diablo. Furious hack "n" slash with an exciting storyline and gameplay that can satisfy the most demanding fans of the genre.

Since the development of this project, the public and the press froze, because Ascaron Games positioned the project as a killer of the "great and terrible" Diablo. For about two years, development was carried out and in 2004 the game left the printing presses, going on sale. What did we get?

The plot was created in the most best traditions Diablo: there is a hero and there is a main villain, whom the hero must kill, and the rest is secondary. No drinking and plot twists not at all, at the beginning of the game you can already find out who will be the main villain. However, the game is fundamentally different from Diablo quests, which are very well designed and interesting, and there are also many side quests and generators. There are about 200 quests in total in the game.

background

A sorcerer has come into the world... His name is Shaddar, or rather, it is part of his nickname, which means "wanderer of shadows" in the language of the dark elves. He comes from a noble family - one of his ancestors was King Morgast I, who drowned the country in the blood of fratricidal war. Shaddar moved even further: not content with hereditary wealth, he decided to subjugate the forces of Darkness, for which he sacrificed his own sister. However, the magic community of the kingdom did not doze off and decided that Shaddar should be burned at the stake, and the sooner the better. But King Valorian I replaced the death penalty with exile. Since then, several centuries have passed, during which Shaddar accumulated strength somewhere in the southern deserts, terrifying orcs, goblins and ogres. He rebuilt his Shaddar-Nur castle in the lifeless rocks, began to recruit an army of goblins subject to his magical will, improve his art in the field of black magic and look for a way to the realm of the dead. Shaddar needed to get there alive and back, along the way making an alliance with the demon of Saqqara, a descendant of the demon lord Vorganar, killed by the Seraphim sent by the forces of light in ancient times, when the Darkness made a previous attempt to take over the world. Now history will repeat itself.

Choose one of six characters and go to meet dangerous adventures. Save the people of Ancaria from imminent death or, even worse, from being turned into lifeless slaves by the gloomy sorcerer Shaddar from an ancient family of dark elves who perished from the face of the earth hundreds of years ago, but returned with an army of orcs, goblins and ogres. Among the heroes, in addition to such familiar subjects as the Gladiator, the Wood Elf and Dark Elf, there is a Battle Mage who fights and conjures with equal success, Seraphim (a female paladin with wings) and Vampiressa - a stern lady who acts like an ordinary warrior during the day, and sucks blood at night. You will have thousands of weapons, hundreds of spells at your disposal, and millions of monsters will stand in your way, ready to do everything to ensure that your mission is never completed.

Map

The map (territory of the game) in Sacred is very extensive. The whole world of Ancaria is divided into many regions, differing from each other in relief, climate, nature, flora and fauna; of particular importance are the dominant types of resistance in the creatures living in the area. In many regions there are various settlements: from trading posts and villages to large towns and cities. In the south of Ancaria there is a vast sea; the entire Lower Hell and the Ancarian deserts adjoin to it. There are a lot of islands in the sea (especially along the coast), but only the islands of Crabs, Mallorca, Pirates, Volcano, Treasures (the latter is only for the demoness) and several nameless small islands near the coast are available, on which ghouls and cave fish can come across. In the southeast and northwest, mountainous areas are full of ice and snow. There are forests in the west, north and east. In the center there is a forest-steppe zone.

Portals

In Ancaria, there is a whole system of portals that allows you to quickly move around the map. To do this, you need to "open" them - go under the arch or along the portal slab. A similar system exists in the Dungeons, but there are much fewer portals and they do not have an arch. In a single player game, the systems are not interconnected, you can get from Ancaria to the Dungeons or back only by completing the main storyline, or, when playing as the Demoness, fly over the strait between the Pirate Islands and Nomad Nur. In multiplayer, there is an additional portal on Vault Island (near Silver Creek) that links both systems.

In addition, there is also a network of two-way portals that are not interconnected:

  • Bellevue - Seraphim Monastery (open automatically);
  • Orc fortifications - Urkenburg (opens after completing the Wilbur main quest);
  • Drakkenden - graveyard east of Mistdale (opens after raising the key after killing the dragon north of Drakkenden);
  • western desert - Frostgard (appears after raising the key after killing the dragon in the Frosward area);
  • lava fields - area south of Bravesbury (appears after raising the key after killing the dragon in the caves of the volcanic region);
  • a cave north of the Raven Rock castle - an island east of Fairy Crossing (appears if you approach the place and wait until the wizard opens it, or after killing the wizard himself).

Difficulty levels

There are five difficulty levels in the game, named after precious metals:

Bronze Silver Gold Platinum Niobium

They differ among themselves in the level and strength of opponents, as well as accessibility. In single player for the Ancaria Campaign, the first two difficulty levels (Bronze and Silver) are playable from the start. To play Dungeons, the minimum character level is 25. Gold difficulty level will be available after completing the game campaign (Ancaria or Dungeons) on Silver difficulty. Platinum difficulty will open after completing the campaign on Gold difficulty, and, accordingly, Niobium will open its gates after successfully completing Platinum. In a multiplayer game, the availability of the difficulty level depends entirely on the level of your character. You can play on Bronze difficulty if your character level is from 1 to 60 inclusive, on Silver from 20 to 100, on Gold from 60 to 140, on Platinum from 100 to 180, on "niobium" - from 140 to 216. Thus, having a character of 60, 100 or 140 levels, you have access to 3 difficulty levels. For hardcore players, only defeating Andukar (the main and final boss of the Dungeon Company) on Niobium difficulty counts. complete passage games.

  1. Sacred has sold over 1.8 million copies worldwide.
  2. In the world of Ancaria, you can find 8 dragons, 7 of which are warlike and you can kill them, the eighth is friendly, you will receive a number of quests from him.
  3. If you go from Khorad-Nur south to the sea, and then all the way east, to the cliff, you will find a narrow path leading to the pier. On the pier you will notice a boat, with which you can get to the island where the orcs rest. The orc at the pier will ask you to rid him of annoying tourists. Trample the towels of these orc tourists and they will attack you. After you kill everyone, talk again to the orc on the pier, and he will give you sunglasses as a gift.
  4. When playing as the Seraph, you have the opportunity to get a real Jedi lightsaber. First you need to free Seraphim, who was captured by black magicians near Bellevue. This seraph is being held in a cave east of the old mansion where the vampiress begins play. Then go to Khorad-Nur and go east from it, across the bed of a dried up river, go south to the rocks, and again east along them. You will see a burned building, in which you will find a dying seraph, after the death of which you will get a laser sword.
  5. In the city of Fairy Crossing, go behind the blacksmith's house to the north, and turn west. When you reach the forest, look for a barely visible path leading southwest. At the end of the trail, you'll find a cave that contains a Pacman mini-game. Collect yellow balls, they add experience, and blue ones should be avoided, because. they do damage...
  6. Exit Mistdale Castle and follow the riverbank to the northeast. Passing in this way to the source of the river, you will find the village of Tristram, familiar to you from the first Diablo.
  7. North of the village of Drakkenden, there is a well-camouflaged path through the woods that leads to a clearing containing Jason's hockey mask and machete from the Friday the 13th movie. Only the Gladiator can use them.
  8. Entering the Call of Ascaron tavern, which is located south of Braverock, you can talk to a man named Lucius, then kill him and pick up a key that will open the entrance to the X6 dungeon. Further, after going to the X7 dungeon, you will be able to fight the Vampire Queen. Only works when playing as Vampiressa
  9. You can find Torvin's grave on the map. There are two ways to get to the grave: through dungeon 73, which is located southwest of South Hedgeton, and through dungeon 76, located west of the dragon named Sssilith. Then, once in the area with a small lake, find a tree (red circle) - under it there will be a grave in which you are guaranteed to find the Mace of Torvin. In the same place, you can complete a secret quest: pick up the sword (green circle) and take it to the lake, where the forest shooter Arogarn will be waiting for you. You can complete the secret quest only if you have previously completed the quest "Wood Shooter Arogarn" - southwest of Bellevue - not far from the spawn of the Dark Elf and the Wood Elf.
  10. In Sacred you can find a hidden grave. An ax and a bow can be found near the grave, and a name and two dates are written on the grave. The Hidden Grave has only existed since version 1.8 (Sacred PLUS).

By creating Diablo game, the employees of the small Californian studio Condor did not even imagine that their brainchild would become the face of the genre for the next 10 years. During this period, probably, only the lazy did not attempt to repeat the success that the brainchild of Blizzard had. Teams of all calibers and stripes, from Microsoft to a group of Czech geeks, have tried to outdo Diablo's success. However, none of the clones had the slightest chance of winning.

Meanwhile, Blizzard released Diablo-2 to the market. This further separated him from his pursuers. The threat to the success of this game appeared quite imperceptibly. She came in 2004 from Germany, her name is Sacred.

In Russia, this fantasy role-playing game is known as "Prince of Darkness". Its creator is the German company Ascaron.

Successful product

Since 1992, Ascaron has been creating economic stimulants. But, despite this, she undertook to develop a new area, starting the implementation of an ambitious project. As it became clear later, the efforts spent were not in vain. Created game Sacred has become a worthy successor to the ideas of Diablo. This success was largely facilitated by the fact that the German company supported its offspring for a long time, creating add-ons and patches. Thanks to these extensions, versions were offered Sacred Underworld, as well as Sacred+, in which the territory of the adventure almost doubled compared to the original. A year after the original game was released, it came out with additions in the form of the Sacred Gold Edition.

About the game

The product of German developers, without any doubt, has a rather fascinating plot. All adventures take place in a fantasy world, similar to the one that can be seen during the passage of Disciples: Sacred Lands - a game created in 1999, in the center of which there are four warring races.

The gameplay of the game, created by German developers, is able to satisfy everyone, even the most demanding fans of the genre. The plot of this product is created in the tradition of Diablo. There is a hero who has to kill the main villain. All other actions are secondary. When passing Sacred, the player will not meet with any ups and downs. There are no plot twists in the game. Already at the very beginning of the journey it becomes clear who is the main villain.

Nevertheless, the game of German developers has a fundamental difference from Diablo with its quests. They are very interesting in Sacred and thought out quite well. There are also many generator and side quests here. In general, there are about 200 of them.

background

The passage of Sacred takes us to Ancaria. The sorcerer Shaddar came to the world of this continent. However, this is not his full name. Translated from the language of the dark elves, it means "wanderer of shadows." This comes from a noble family, a descendant of King Morgast I, who at one time ignited a bloody fratricidal war in the country.

The community of magicians of the kingdom tried to correct the situation. They decided to burn Shaddar at the stake, and do it as quickly as possible. However, the death penalty was changed to exile by King Valorian I.

Several centuries have passed since the events described above. During this time, Shaddar was in the southern deserts and accumulated strength. On the lifeless rocks, he built his castle, terrifying the ogres, goblins and orcs. Shaddar, who constantly improved his art of black magic, began to recruit an army. Warriors were creatures subject to his magical will.

Shaddar tried to find a way that would allow him to get alive into the realm of the dead. There he wanted to make an alliance with the demon Saqqara, who was the descendant of the lord of all demons Vorganar, who was killed in ancient times. The forces of light sent Seraphim to do this in order to stop the attempt of Darkness to take over the world. But years passed, and history repeated itself.

To complete Sacred, the player will need to choose one of 6 characters to go save the people of Ancaria from death or from turning people into lifeless slaves, subordinate to the gloomy sorcerer Shaddar, who returned to the country with an army of ogres, goblins and orcs.

During the passage of the Sacred, we will encounter such heroes as the Wood Elf and the Gladiator, as well as the Dark Elf. The player will get acquainted with the following:

  • A battle mage who can both conjure and fight with equal success.
  • Seraphim - a female paladin with wings.
  • Vampiressa - a stern lady who acts as an ordinary warrior during the day, and sucks blood at night.

When passing Sacred 1, the player is given thousands of weapons, as well as hundreds of spells. They will be useful to him when monsters (and there are millions of them) appear on the way, who are ready to do everything possible so that the main character does not fulfill his mission.

Game area

The Sacred map is quite extensive. The world of Ancaria consists of many regions that differ from each other in climate and topography, nature, fauna and flora. It should be borne in mind that during the passage of Sacred, the dominant types of resistance that the creatures living in the area have are of particular importance.

Many regions have diverse settlements. These are trading posts and villages, as well as large towns and cities.

The southern territories of Ancaria are washed by a vast sea. All the deserts of this continent adjoin to it, as well as the Lower Hell. There are many islands in the sea (especially along the coast). However, not all of them are available to the player. He can only get to the Island of the Volcano, Pirates, Crabs, Treasures. The last one is available only to Demoness. Near the coast there are several small nameless islands. They sometimes come across cave fish and ghouls.

Mountainous areas are located in the southeastern and northwestern parts of the territory. There is a lot of snow and ice here. Forests grow in the east, north and west. In the center of the country there is a forest-steppe zone.

Portals

You can move around Ancaria quite quickly. To do this, the game has a system of portals. The player will need to open them. To do this, he needs to go through the portal slab or under the arch.

A similar system exists in the Dungeons. However, the number of portals there is much smaller, and they do not have an arch.

If the passage of Sacred involves a single-player mode, then the player will need to go through all the points of the main plot in order to find himself in the Dungeon, and then get back to Ancaria. Or, choosing a Demoness as a character, fly across the strait from Pirate Island to Nomad Nurom.

In multiplayer, both systems are linked by an additional portal. It is located near Silver Creek on Vault Island.

When passing the game Sacred, you can also use a network of two-way portals that are not connected to each other in any way. Among them:

  • opening automatically - Bellevue Seraphim Monastery;
  • available only after successfully completing the task "Wilburg" - Urkenburg (orc fortification);
  • unlocked after the hero takes the key by killing the dragon north of Drakkenden (the graveyard located east of Mistdale);
  • also appearing after killing the dragon and raising the key, but only in the Frosward area (western desert);
  • arising when the key is in the hands after the destruction of the dragon in the cave of the volcanic area (the lava fields located south of Bravesbury);
  • appearing when the player comes to the right place and waiting until the wizard opens the portal, or after the destruction of the wizard (a cave north of the castle called Raven Rock on an island east of Fairy Crossing).

Difficulty levels

The passage of Sacred quests can be different depending on the strength of the enemy. This characteristic is directly affected by the chosen level of complexity. There are five of them in the game. Moreover, for the names of each of these levels of complexity, the authors chose the names. These are bronze and silver, gold and platinum, as well as niobium.

In the single-player version of the game, the first two difficulty levels, namely bronze and silver, become available to the player from the very beginning of the map. "Gold" will not be available immediately. In order to rise to this level, the player will have to complete any of the campaigns ("Ancaria" or "Dungeon"), and do it on the "silver" difficulty.

How to get to platinum? This level will only unlock when the player completes the campaign on Gold difficulty. So is niobium. It will be available after going platinum.

Several other conditions are offered in the multiplayer game. Here, the availability of one or another difficulty level will depend on the selected character. If it is in the range from 1 to 60, then you can choose "bronze". On "silver", the player will be able to overcome difficulties with a character level from 20 to 100. From 60 to 140, you can switch to "gold". From 100 to 180 - for "platinum", and from 140 to 216 - try your hand at "niobium".

This layout allows you to understand the following: by choosing a character of the 60th, 100th or 140th level, you can access three levels of difficulty. Many gamblers consider complete completion of all quests only defeating Andukar, who is the main and last boss in the "Dungeon" campaign. You can win it only at the level of "niobium".

Secrets of the game

  1. The world of Ancaria is the place where eight dragons live. Seven of them are very warlike. The player can kill them. The eighth dragon is very friendly. He will give the next few quests.
  2. If, during the passage of the Sacred game, you move along the map to the sea in a southerly direction from Khorad-Nur, and then turn east and approach the rock, then you can find a narrow path along which you can get to the pier. Near it is a boat, sitting in which, the player gets to the island where the orcs are resting. One of them, standing at the pier, will ask you to save him from annoying tourists. How to do it? It is enough to trample on their towels. Angry, they will attack the hero who will kill them. For this, the orc on the pier will give a gift - sunglasses.
  3. When completing the quest for the Seraphim, it becomes possible to become the owner of a real Jedi laser sword. To do this, the player must free Seraphim from the captivity of black magicians located near Bellevue. She was imprisoned in a cave located near the old mansion, where Vampiress begins her game. After that, you should head to Khorad-Nur. Further, the player's path lies to the east. After passing through the dry river bed, you should head south, and meeting rocks on the way, turn east and move along them. At the end of this path is a burned building. In it you can find the dying Seraphim. After her death, the player gets a laser sword.
  4. While in a city called Fairy Crossing, the player should go around the blacksmith's house and head north, and then turn west. Seeing the forest, you need to look for a thin path that will lead to the southwest. After passing through it, the hero gets to the cave. It contains a mini-game called Pacman. You should collect yellow balls, which will add experience. Blue is better not to touch. They will deal damage.
  5. Leaving Mistdale Castle, you should go northeast along the river bank. At its source is the village of Tristram. She is well known to those who have played Diablo.
  6. To the north of the village of Drakkenden you can find a well-camouflaged path in the forest. It will lead to a clearing where you can find a hockey mask, as well as Jason's machete from the movie Friday the 13th. Only one character can use these items - the Gladiator.
  7. In the Call of Ascaron tavern, located south of Braverock, you can talk to a man whose name is Lucius. The player must kill him to get the key that opens the door to the X6 dungeon. After going through this turn to the X7 dungeon, the gamer will have to fight the Vampire Queen. This quest is only available when playing as Vampiressa.
  8. On the map is Torvin's grave. There are only two ways to get to it. One of them runs through dungeon 73, located southwest of South Hedgeton, as well as dungeon 76, passing a little west of the dragon, whose name is Ssilith. After the player enters an area with a small lake, he should find the tree highlighted with a red circle. Beneath it is a grave containing Thorvin's mace. A secret quest can also be completed here. To do this, you need to pick up the sword in the green circle and take it to the lake, near which the player is waiting for Arogarn - a forest shooter. But the execution of the secret quest is not available to everyone. Before this, another task must be completed. This is a quest called "Forest Marksman Arogarn". The place of its execution is located southwest of Bellevue, not far from the spawn of the Wood Elf and the Dark Elf.
  9. When passing the "Elements of Ancaria" in Sacred, a preliminary conversation with Sharifa should take place. Next, the hero goes to the Frostgard Palace to take the element of air from the sanctuary. The character will have to kill the keeper, taking the rune to activate the mini-portal. After that, the path of the hero lies in Alcabazo nok Draco. After passing through the city along the marker, we have to get to the dragon's lair, kill him and take the element of fire from the sanctuary. Further we have a way to Zhurag-Nara. In the fortress, on its first level, there is a hall with a red floor for sacrifices. Here the hero will have to kill the supreme matriarchy of Meglavari and, having picked up the key to the door of the secret room, take the element of earth from the sanctuary. After completing an additional story quest, which is called "Dwarf Dams of Gnarlstat", you will need to get the element of water from the sanctuary located in Verag-Nar.
  10. In the "Mysteries of the Desert" quest, when passing Sacred, you will need to complete a task that is issued by an inhabitant of the oasis near the captain's tent. It consists in finding a crazy wizard, which should be located northeast of the oasis. The next step is to solve the riddle. If the answer is correct, the player is rewarded with a rune.
  11. Passage in Sacred Eyes of a wolf ("Eyes of the wolf") will require the hero to defeat the Shara-agil. This is the leader of a pack of wolves that lives in the eastern part of Bellevue. The hero's reward is a rune.

Sacred Underworld

The campaign of this game starts from the point at which the adventures of the hero of the first version ended. During the passage of the Sacred Underworld, we learn that Baroness Villa decided to join her lover, the already deceased Prince Valor. The player needs to kill four subcaris. This will save the baroness from captivity. After that, there will be a battle with Andukar, who controls the inhabitants of the Underworld through violence.

During the passage of the Sacred Underworld, the player meets new characters. One of them is the She-Devil, who impresses with her spectacular spells and stylish appearance. This dark magic and can use it to destroy their enemies. This can do a lot of damage to her. The authors also taught her to fly.

The second new hero that can be found during the passage of Sacred Underworld quests is a dwarf. This character is quite stubborn, grouchy and tough. He is good with war hammers and axes, and is also able to use unique weapons that are not available to other characters.

Slightly updated graphics in this version. The authors added some special effects to it. In addition, the game world has expanded by 40% in Sacred Underworld. The properties of almost all unique items. In this version, the entrance and exit from the cave began to be marked with a special icon located on the mini-map.

Sacred 2

This continuation of the main game was released in 2008. The story takes place approximately 2 thousand years before the events that were described in the first part. Depending on their choice, the player will have to play Sacred 2 in one of two campaigns. One of them represents the forces of Darkness, and the second - Light. Depending on the campaign, the player will have to exterminate good or evil in order to free or subdue the Heart of Ancaria.

Dark Campaign

The passage of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel at the first stage is not at all difficult. The road of any of the characters lies in the temple of the inquisitor Tahlreth, which is located near the city of Slowford. This is where the main story line begins. The Inquisitor says that the world is falling apart, and the country is dying because of the unbelief of the people. He gives the hero the first task. With the subsequent passage of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, you will need to get rid of the Tractor, which sells the girls into slavery to the elves.

Having reached the city of Griffinboro, you should activate the portal. This will allow you to go beyond the city walls. Further, the path lies north to a tavern called "Royal Den". There is a person in it who can point to the location of the Tractor. After killing him, we find a letter in our pocket, from which we learn that the hero will have to go to the Orc path. Here we will meet with the Grand Inquisitor Nimanuel. He talks about those political feuds that exist among the orcs. For the further passage of Sacred 2, we need to help one of the clans. We kill the leader of the orcs who oppose him. After that, we get the task to defeat the monster that settled in the mountains. To do this, with the help of a barrel containing explosive powder, we demolish the dam built by the monster. After that, the monster is easy enough to defeat.

Further passage of the game Sacred 2 leads us to the northern island, which the hero reached with the help of the ship. Here you need to activate the portal. In the north of the island is a maid. She does not want to answer the creatures of Darkness on the question of where the Big Machine is. The hero goes to the temple, where he has to collect fragments of the sculpture. It turns out that Nimanuel also came to the island. He is dissatisfied with the hero and sends him to look for the dragon Mer-Kila. After a short fight, the monster is defeated.

To further complete the Sacred 2 quests, you need to get to the swamps. Lizard people live here in the lost city. The hero needs to become a member of their cult so that the inhabitants begin to trust him. To do this, he kills the monster that was on the Rock of Skulls. This is followed by the next task - to destroy the monument, which was erected in memory of their dead by another clan. After completing this quest, the hero receives the "Sign of the Nameless", symbolizing immortality.

And here is a hero in the desert. A group of warriors approaches him. They force him to fight and remain defeated. We're heading to the oasis. There is a man sitting there who talks about the upcoming elections and what we need to do so that the people put a prince at the head of the state. To do this, you need a weapon called "Hellfire", the elements of which must be taken from the opponent. After completing the task, we head to the alchemist, who is against the prince. This person needs to be convinced. To do this, you need to intercept the messenger from the brother of the king.

Then the hero goes to the tropical jungle. There he meets with archaeologists who report that monsters are guarding the path to the desired city. Having coped with the monster, we pass to the central column and click on it with the mouse. A hologram appears. It tells about the beginning of the Great War and that during this period the core of the Machine was moved to another place. The hologram that appeared on the second column spoke of a magical shield that made the Machine invisible. The information on the next column makes it clear that the dryads have the key. Let's go to them.

You can find dryads during the passage of the "Company of Darkness" in Sacred 2 only by going by ship to the southern part of the island. There we have to get to the Crystal Cave. In it is a cache with a key. After completing simple tasks, we reach our final goal. The main mission is completed. Now we sail back on the ship.

While our hero was not in Ancarnia, the war began here. The main battle takes place near the Big Machine. First of all, you need to go through four doors in the castle to destroy sixteen devices. After doing this, it is considered complete.

Campaign of the Light

Regardless of the character chosen by the player, he should go to the village head Grodet, who is dealing with debts after stealing bags of jewelry. The first task is to find the thieves, which everyone considers the robbers. We take their bags. After that, the hero will have the next task - the search for an elven expedition. To do this, you should go to the "Royal Den" tavern, which is located in the capital of Griffinboro. We learn that the elves appeared here a few months ago. Further, the path lies to the west to the cave, from which the hero frees the captives. One girl said that her sister knew where to find Tractor. We go to the land of the orcs. After talking with them, we learn about the next task. It consists in bringing ten evil troll teeth to the orcs. The hero defeats enemies and completes the task.

Next, we have to kill the monster that blocks the flow of the river. After the channel is drained with the help of the shaman's spells, it will not be difficult to cope with the monster. The elves report that the seraphim have learned about the leak of magic. Let's go to the ship. He takes us to the island. Here the hero will meet with the local Queen Sophia. She reports that Lyosilat is on the island. I'm going to meet him. Lyosilat says that for protection we need an amulet from dragon scales. We get it.

The next task is given by Mer-Kil. He proposes to destroy the demon living in the world of Karnakh. After completing this mission, we go to the Grakk family. Having made our way through the swamps, we approach the village. The elder invites the hero to become his relative. We go to the shaman who lives near the Sacred Bridge. He performs the necessary ritual. After completing a series of tasks, we find ourselves in the desert. Here we meet a person who talks about the situation that has developed in the country. In order to seize power, the son of the king decided to create a destructive weapon. But for this he needs a recipe that we have to bring from the cave. Having completed the task, we are looking for the alchemist Assim in the desert, who, after reading the scroll, asks to bring him the blood of a scorpion. It is needed to create weapons. After completing the task, we go to the jungle. Here we are looking for a city and create holograms. The information on them indicates that the Machine of interest to the hero is invisible and is located in a completely different place. We go by ship to the island for the key. It is in Get it obtained by killing the monsters on the island.

We go back and get to the castle, where the battle is in full swing. We defeat the enemies and go to the large hall in which the computers are located. We go through four doors , in order to destroy 16 devices. Activate the holograms and destroy the blue platforms. Mission completed.

gold Edition

The sequel to the Sacred 2 series is Sacred 2: Gold Edition. The passage of quests is an intriguing story, side secrets and tasks of which the hero will have to unravel. To do this, the player chooses one of six characters. Passage of Sacred 2: Gold edition includes complex spells, as well as breathtaking combat techniques. The hero has access to a large number of weapons and items. In the process of passing Sacred 2: Gold Edition, everyone can independently choose the necessary attributes for their character. This will create a unique hero. The passage of Sacred Gold can be carried out on horseback. They can be purchased from vendors who trade in different parts of Ancaria. Riding in the game suits the character and greatly influences many aspects of his actions. Animals provide additional bonuses. In addition, they improve the combat skills of the heroes.

Sacred 3

All the events that take place in this game unfold, as in previous versions, in Ancaria. After the actions described in the first part, 1000 years have passed. During the passage of Sacred 3, we get acquainted with the main antagonist - Zane Ashen, the ruler of the Ash Empire. The villain is in search of an ancient artifact, the Heart of Ancaria, which he wants to take.

The protagonist during the passage of Sacred 3 seeks to prevent him from doing this. Unlike previous games, the authors endowed warriors with improved intelligence, and it will be possible to act against enemies only with the use of certain skills or using interactive objects located on the map.

Ice and blood

The passage of Sacred 2: Ice Blood takes the player to the times that preceded the third part by 900 years. A new character has been added here - the Dracomage, and the territory of Ancaria has also expanded. It is not necessary to travel through these lands, although the quests completed there will be recorded in the 11th act.

Gives tasks Zombie Bob. First, he asks the hero to bring some leather belts and skins. From this material he wants to sew a cape. The hero will need to collect five leather belts, which will drop from Champions, and the same amount of leather, which can be obtained from Fire Horses. After the successful completion of the task, sellers will come to the village. They will offer to buy a Fire Horse, as well as a Black or White Unicorn. In this version of the game, the characteristics of the riders are unremarkable.

We have reviewed the main stages of the passage of the game. Good luck!

Introduction

Let's see what the situation with role-playing games is today. Market development trends show that, on the one hand, role-playing games are recognized as gradually becoming a simulator of real life - it is not for nothing that the heroes of many of them have, for example, to take care of the fullness of their stomach, and there is nothing to say about multiplayer role-playing games on the Internet - they simulate real life , communication, work, leisure ... On the other hand, "role-playing elements", no matter how insignificant they are, bring uniqueness to the game, allow you to emphasize the individuality of the player and his hero, therefore they are more and more actively integrated into games of other genres. Now a game of almost any genre (at least a strategy, even a shooter) without role-playing elements is no longer a game, while "real" RPGs come out less and less, they are being replaced by simplified arcades and action games with role-playing elements, and it is these games that received the name " hack&slash", gain the main popularity. Among other things, games of this "simplified" genre also have very simplified controls and gameplay, aimed only at "Possessing", (with a capital letter!), Possessing things, gold, etc., and, one might say, almost do not require the participation of the player, and, therefore, will appeal to a very wide range of users.

In the same "Dungeon Siege", one of the games of this genre, there was a button "collect all things lying around". It is said that the "DS II" will have a special button "collect all the items around and sell them in the nearest shop", as well as "go to the nearest cave and kill all the monsters there". Only these two function keys will be used in the game. They also say that the second part of "DS" already has a working title " The Game Plays You!". All this, of course, is a joke. However, as you know, there is some truth in every joke. And that's half the problem. The love of many players (or what else to call it?) To their electronic Alter ego, sometimes unhealthy , gave rise to a new wave of "role-playing" games. Those RPGs that used to belong to the "hack & slash" genre have now evolved into a new genre - tamagotchi - "Love your hero", in which it is the hero, and not the plot or atmosphere of the game, that is the center of everything actions. Thus, the "munchkins" (munchkin) appeared - lovers of "pumping" their game character to transcendental heights, fasten the most modern junk on it, and get unprecedented pleasure from it. You have met them more than once. With the names "Diablo", " Dungeon Siege", etc., their eyes flash with unhealthy fire, and they begin to compare the levels of their heroes, or offer to buy their beefy level 99 necromancer to play on the B-net....

Well, now the saddest thing. Haven't you heard? All Munchkins were given a ticket to heaven the other day. It's called Sacred. In order to uniquely characterize this game, one sentence will suffice. In addition to the traditional simplified statistics of the character, and a bunch of things to put on the character, we are offered a screen of graphs for the development of his characteristics and abilities (!!!). It's not a joke. Now you can visually see how and with what growth your hero's development went on at different stages, and then brag about the facts you found out to your friends. However, this is all nonsense. The main thing is the monsters that respawn constantly and non-stop. That is, you cleared, say, some grove, ran to the store to get rid of the contents of a heavy backpack, returned to the woods, and there again a crowd of goblins, and even three times more evil than the previous ones (levels and number of monsters, as well as the quality of things, which of them "fall out", grow with your levels). So the gameplay goes to new level, and a shocking fact is revealed to us: moving forward along storyline generally becomes a secondary issue and not even mandatory! Personally, having visited the first three cities (this is the first half hour of the game), I hung around in their vicinity for a long time, without moving further, and doing banal monster hunting and ... of course, munchkinism. This behavior is also facilitated by the constant appearance of a huge number of side quests in cities (and sometimes there are tasks "for a while"). There was simply no point in going forward.

An abundance of non-plot tasks (hundreds), a huge "open" game world, with a lot of non-plot locations, which you can move around on your own horse (!), six really DIFFERENT characters to play, an interesting combat system, thousands of magical and ordinary things that you you will be able to fasten on your hero ... Do you really need to know something else about this game? There is not much to say about the graphics and sound. The engine is a standard "3D characters on 2D rendered backs" solution. The game supports one single working resolution of 1024x768 pixels (which is quite small), but it has two scaling modes, so at least there are no problems with functionality.

The picture is "not a fountain", but not completely terrible either: good animation, acceptable spell effects, complex and beautiful models of monsters and characters. Sound - to match the graphic design - nothing outstanding, but in some places - pleasant. The atmosphere of the game turned out to be somewhat peculiar (in the spirit of the old games), and this is most likely because the Germans made the game. The German version of the game appeared at the end of February, and the English version went into print not so long ago. The rights to publish "Sacred" in Russia were acquired by the company "Akella" - in the Russian version the game will be called "Prince of Darkness". The name change suggests that the game is likely to be translated into Russian. However, full compatibility of all localized versions is promised. We have a game should appear in the very near future.

Plot

Are you still here and not in the store? Then I ask: why do you need a plot? For this kind of games, and even more so for "Sacred", it is generally not needed, that is, it is not needed at all. After all, it only distracts from the noble cause of Acquisition and Development. I would even say that the only serious miscalculation of the developers when creating "Sacred" can be called the introduction of a plot into the game, spending money and time on it. It would be better to pay more attention to the game world and testing the game. What difference does it make why we came into this world and why it needs to be saved? After all, it is clear that saving him is the least of all included in our plans. Vaughn "C & C: Generals" was completely without a plot - and nothing, they forgave her. However, so be it. I'll tell you how it all started.

Once upon a time there lived a dark and evil magician named Shaddar. He came from the dark elves, which made it even more vicious and darker. I also note that his entire legendary family was bloodthirsty, participating in all big and small strife - you can read about this in various books, which can often be found in chests. Shaddar did not spare even his own sister, and put her under the knife when her flesh and blood was needed for one of his dark rituals - in this way he extended his life. In a word, he was a notorious scoundrel, but there were good fellows (Mages from Mistdale) who managed to catch the necromancer and set out to burn him for sins at the stake, like Joan of Arc. But then the local ruler Valorian the First intervened (Valorian I) , who decided to simply exile the magician to hell, which was done. Thus, Shaddar went to wander the southern deserts. But the black magician, do not be a fool, did not waste time, but spent him in search of the gate to the Kingdom of Death, where he gathered conspire with a Demon named Sakkara, a descendant of the Demon Lord Worganars, in order to, you guessed it, take over the world. to serve the master, was at large, and now encroaches on the freedom and happiness of civilians. Here it must also be said that Seraphim (Seraphim is one of game characters) in Ancient Times, they once managed to defeat Vorganars and his henchmen, and shove them back into the local Hell, so this time it will definitely not be the case. Not without our help, of course.

In a word, we have such a wonderful, simple, cloned plot, about the local Diablo, the "read and forgot" systems. However, despite this, everyone is happy and satisfied for obvious reasons. It is worth adding here only that all six characters start their journey in different places of the Kingdom of Ancaria (Kingdom of Ancaria), and in various ways find themselves embroiled in a mess with the Demon. But this, perhaps, is all that can be said about the plot of the game.

Role system

Characters

There are six characters in total in the game, and at the very beginning of the game we can choose any of them. In parentheses, I note that during generation it is impossible to change the initial statistics of a character, you can only give him a name. So, we are offered three male and three female character. Some of them can use spells in combat, some can use special moves. Each of the six characters are different.

Gladiator(Gladiator) - A stern giant who prefers to solve all problems with his fists and brute force. Prefers close combat with bulky weapons such as clubs, axes, two-handed swords, and more. Has a large number of special techniques associated with a variety of ways to use melee weapons or even fists. In fact, it is an analogue of the Barbarian from "Diablo II".

Battle Mage(Battlemage) - this role may seem a little unusual to you due to the fact that the local magician, unlike the traditional "suffocators", in addition to casting spells, is excellent at fighting with swords in close combat. The arsenal of spells of the Battle Mage is represented by elemental schools (fire, water, and so on), and replaces him with special combat techniques, since in battle the magician can only use knives, daggers and swords.

Dark Elf(Dark Elf) - is a kind of ninja, silent killer, martial arts master. In addition to traditional daggers, two-handed and ordinary swords, axes and spears, the Elf can use his claws and fight without weapons. This character uses special moves.

Forest Elf(Wood Elf) - this heroine is equally proficient with both ranged weapons and nature magic, mostly defensive. Since her main specialty is bows, in close combat, she can only use daggers and one-handed swords. But magical bows and a good set of spells make the elven warrior a very dangerous opponent.

Seraphim(Seraphim) - the first of the non-traditional (or innovative) character classes that the developers are so proud of. Seraphim is of divine origin, and the gods grant her magical powers. Like the Battle Mage, she easily combines the ability to fight in close combat with impressive magical abilities. Usually in combat, the Seraph has time to greatly weaken the enemies before they can get to her, and when this happens, they risk tasting a solid arsenal of melee weapons. Seraphim is proficient in both special moves and magic spells, and can use any kind of swords, axes, spears and flails, as well as bows and claws, in battle. As usual, such "multi-class" means the lack of professionalism in at least one of the classes.

Vampire(Vampiress) - the second of the "non-traditional" and, in my opinion, the most interesting character. A vampire is two characters in one. Her normal state is Knight, but by using her ability, she can transform into a Vampire. At night, she can remain a Vampire for as long as she likes, and during the day - only for a while, depending on the development of this ability. At the same time, the abilities of the two "forms" of the Vampire are different. In Warrior form, she can fight with melee and ranged combat, use any type of weapon and a number of special moves. In her vampire form, she fights with her claws and only in melee, but she gets a huge bonus to attacks and a lot of special moves, such as the ability to fight several opponents at once, as well as spells. And of course, the Vampire knows how to drink the blood of her enemies, restoring her vitality.

Character Screen

The character screen consists of five parts: the inventory (aka the statistics panel), the "combat skill" screen, the "combo" screen, the log screen, and the map. As usual, let's look at each of the screens in more detail.

Inventory and statistics

Here we see a standard "checkered" field, consisting of 8x20 cells. There is no scrolling, so the maximum amount of things your character can carry is limited by this space. For example, a drink occupies one cell in the inventory, a sword - three to five, armor - six, and so on. Everything here is absolutely banal. There is an inventory sorting button similar to the one in "Dungeon Siege". The character doll consists of the following slots:

Helmet
Armor
Bracers
Gloves
Belt
knee pads
Boots
Two amulets
four rings
Two different slots for weapons and shields (remember that some characters can fight with two one-handed swords, axes, etc.).

Above the doll is a character statistics panel. It consists of two parts: "Attributes" and "Skills". In total, the hero has six attributes:

Strength
Resistance
Luck
Charisma
Spell regeneration
Health regeneration

When you level up, you can increase any of the attributes by one (the value of the skills increases by two points each time). In addition, the character has several more indicators: Attack, Defense, Accuracy, Damage, Resistance, and so on. They increase automatically when you level up a character, use magic items, or learn special skills. Skills in "Sacred" are very different - from exotic, such as riding (without this skill, you will not be able to saddle a fast, but zealous horse), to banal, such as wielding weapons or magic. Each of the six characters has a different set of characters, but I didn’t notice any particularly remarkable and unusual ones among them. In general, role system"Sacred", in my opinion, can be called quite extensive (for "hack&slash"), but does not contain anything unusual. You may be surprised only by the lack of "magical attributes" of the character, as well as mana. This is what we are going to talk about now.

Combat Mastery Screen

"Combat skill" refers to a variety of special techniques used by a character in combat, as well as various magic spells. Therefore, they are all on the same screen and work on the same principle - after application, a technique or spell will require some time to "recharge" - therefore, the concept of "mana" is absent. The cooldown time and "strength" of the move (or spell) will depend on the development of certain skills and attributes of your hero. It is clear that each of the six characters has a different set of techniques and/or spells. Master new types of combat skills, or develop old ones, your hero will be able to find or buy special runes. Mastering new types of combat skills is NOT related to character development in any way.

Combo

On this screen we see four runes, each of which can contain up to four combo moves. Combination moves are sequences of special attacks and/or magic spells that the hero can use in combat. To create a combo rune, you will need to find a special martial artist who, for an immoderate fee, will compose it for you from the techniques and spells of your choice. The price of compiling a rune will depend on the quantity and quality of the martial arts used in it - with each step it increases exponentially.

Magazine

Here we see four tabs:

Under the first of them, all the tasks received by our characters are displayed. On the left is their list, with plot tasks displayed in large print, and non-plot ones in small print, and their detailed description on the right.

Under the second - some information about your character: a description of his class, combat skills, skills, as well as a list of quest items.

Under the third - entertaining information from the life of the Kingdom of Ancaria: history, bestiary, geographical information, and most importantly - culinary recipes. I have not been able to realize their high significance.

Under the fourth is just the notorious screen with graphs and statistics. Here you can see the number of killed enemies, the number of deaths (in case of death, the hero respawns in the nearest city), the percentage of exploration of the game world, information about defeated enemies, and a few more indicators. The time graph displays a growth curve for the character's experience, his performance, and his accumulated gold.

Map

The terrain map in "Sacred" can work in three modes, but I would not call any of them convenient. The first mode is activated with the "Tab" key. When you press and hold it, a "transparent" map opens, which displays only tasks and characters - white - key, red - enemies, green - the rest. The global map of the entire kingdom is opened by pressing the "M" key. On it we see schematic designations of all game objects - plot tasks (big book), side tasks (small book), shops (bag), forges (hammer), stables (shafts), portals and so on. By clicking on any area, we can see its detailed map, with all the houses, trees, characters and more. This map is the most convenient for local orientation. The first, "transparent" map is not very informative, and the other two occupy the entire screen and therefore have little functionality. This is perhaps one of the weak points of the game.

Game world

The Kingdom of Ancaria is divided into sixteen regions, which differ in graphic design. The central lands of the country are typical pastoral fantasy landscapes, with forests, fields, meadows, as well as castles and villages in a medieval style. In the south of the kingdom, defending the borders from the orcs, the Settlers are trying to survive. Further south are only the lands belonging to the orcs, where dragons are said to live, and the magic tower of the sorcerer Shaddar is also located. Going west, the traveler will first meet the rich villas of the local nobility, but, going further, he risks getting lost in the impenetrable Ancient Forests, in the thickets of which, according to legend, an abandoned fortress is hidden. In the north of the kingdom, your path will be blocked by eternal ice, among which is the ancient temple of the Seraphim. In the east, you will meet rocky deserts, forests and swamps - not the best place for adventure. These lands are inhabited by all sorts of monsters of various types and colors, as well as fugitive magicians. At the same time, developed human settlements are practically absent due to the remoteness from the capital.

That, in a nutshell, is the description of the world of Sacred. The developers tried to do everything to make their game world seem alive, but it seems to me that they did not quite succeed. Despite the fact that almost all locations are densely populated, if not by NPCs or monsters (which, moreover, constantly respawn), then at least by bunnies and squirrels, for some reason they all seem fake, lifeless. Many game events, either due to errors in the scripts, or due to something else, look very illogical. For some reason, orcs and goblins rush right along the main square of the town, touching no one but our hero, and no one cares about it. In one of the side tasks, the customer for some reason sends us to a distant cave to look for the lost "architect", the other - to the cemetery for the "assistant", and so on. Somehow this is too absurd. Or is it just the job generator raving? In a word, the game world of "Sacred" is a bit inanimate, sketchy, as if it is only oceans of monsters, among which sometimes there are islands-shops and nothing more... However, maybe I'm demanding too much.

At the same time, "Sacred" compares favorably with its diablo-like counterparts, if only in that it has a huge full-fledged Game World, and not a narrow corridor from the inscription "New Game" to the final credits, divided into chapters. And let's not forget about the myriad of simple (go there, kill that) side quests that randomly appear in cities, and it will become clear that the game has every chance of becoming a multiplayer hit, it's a pity that the number of players in one game cannot be over sixteen. Perhaps this number will be further increased by patches that developers release in batches (three have already been released). In addition, the very structure of the game world - huge, without downloads (!) and chapters, linked together by numerous teleporters - allows us to talk about a serious step towards improving the multiplayer role-playing game within the genre.

Among other things, without fear of seeming wrong, we can state the following. The game definitely brings a few groundbreaking moments, and, in addition, took a lot of good things from its predecessors. In addition to the examples already described above, you can also consider the possibility of riding horses and fighting while sitting in the saddle. After all, horses and other donkeys are definitely good, because it is still unknown what is closer to life - the AD&D dialogue system using the hero's statistics, or donkeys carrying luggage. In the game, you can buy or catch wild horses in order to quickly move around the game world on them. After buying a horse, an icon will appear next to the character's portrait, allowing you to call the horse with a whistle if it is not on the same screen as your hero, as well as mount or dismount. On a horse, the hero can perform many special moves and cast almost all spells (but you still need to dismount to perform some), but at the same time you risk losing the horse, as it will be attacked by enemies. However, I can say that without a horse this huge world simply cannot be mastered. And now imagine a conversation with a friend, taking place literally according to Turgenev: "I started, they say, a black horse of Arab blood. The speed is such and such, endurance is such and such, the color is blue-black!". To which you can get a completely reasonable answer about acquiring a new bridle for your favorite mare, increasing her, mare, abilities, such as running speed, etc. You can buy such a bridle for your horse in almost any store.

Sometimes, the authors please the munchkin so frankly and even vulgarly that it becomes even disgusting. Take for example five bottles of drinks. From the "familiar" we will meet only a drink that restores health. One of the drinks does not allow the undead to respawn for a while, the other temporarily allows the hero to gain more experience from killing enemies, the third is an antidote, the fourth will temporarily maximize weapon performance and increase accuracy. Buttons for the use of drinks are placed on the main panel. Do not forget about the practice of making magic items in forges. If you bring an item with slots to the blacksmith, he will offer you a choice of several runes with magic, which you can "solder" into the brought item for money. Everything is like "Diablo II", only you do not need to search for magic stones on your own. Well, here I will say that often you will be joined by temporary allies who will fight completely on their own, but you can view their statistics and give them weapons and armor that they will leave on the ground in case of departure or death. Not very interesting, but still...

You must be prepared for the fact that the main game time (ninety-five percent) is battles.

Battles in "Sacred" can be called on the one hand arcade, on the other - tactical. Arcade because, as in the good old days, we are invited to "call" enemies to death, on the other hand, the introduction of a large number of special techniques, spells, combined attacks and various drinks introduces a tactical element into the game. In both cases, competent and careful implementation of control and interface mechanisms is required. With this, the game is more or less in order. The authors claim that the game has implemented the most friendly interface, such that the player could concentrate on game events, and not on management, and here I, perhaps, agree with them. This is facilitated by a large number of function keys - I did not find only the "get off the horse" keys. Function keys will help you quickly switch slots with weapons, spells and tricks, apply drinks. Although the interface of the game can be called quite complex, but in the initial stages of the game you will often come across quite detailed hint screens, but still, many things remain incomprehensible without a guide.

Conclusion

Among the obvious disadvantages, one can only name a two-dimensional graphics engine, because people have long been accustomed to 3D. And one more thing (besides petty quibbles, from the global one) - the question of the flexibility of the engine and the possibility of modifying it, creating new modules, maps, things and everything else. At first glance, the game is not all right with this - at least I did not find anything like that in the menu. Among the advantages of the game is five minutes to a new level of gameplay within the hack&slash-tamagotchi genre, thanks to a huge number of new ideas. In addition, remaining within the framework of the most banal "hack&slash", "Sacred" introduced a lot of purely role-playing things into it, for example, the richest game world worthy of a "normal" RPG, a large number of side tasks, the factual component of the game world, statistics, and also truly different characters to play with, a myriad of items, and an overt Munchkin focus. And this is only a small part of the delights offered to us - the rest must be seen with our own eyes, felt. The game is solely for the sake of pumping the hero - the so-called "character-oriented gameplay". We will not even raise the issue of multiplayer - it exists, and everything was conceived only for its sake. The developers call their game either role-playing or "adventure", however, they openly admit that they were oriented towards action fans, in addition, without a moment's hesitation, they rejected the canons established earlier, and openly admit that Who are they making the game for? Munchkin lives in each of us, so "Sacred" can be called "a game for everyone and everyone"...

Passage of the game Sacred. 1st part

Introduction

To begin with, I would like to mention that the game can be completed, with one character, more than once. We start with the Bronze difficulty level, then ... Silver, Gold. After beating the game on Gold, the Platinum difficulty opens, and then ... Neobium.

At the beginning of the game, we choose one of six heroes. Each of which is good in its own way. Further, after the choice, we find ourselves in one of the five starting points. But the main thing is that the first task will be exactly the same for everyone. You go to the garrison, which is located on a small island, which is located on the outskirts of the small town of Bellevue. The quest will be given to us by the commander of the garrison Romat. We need to go to the town of Porto Valum and speak with Sergeant Treville, who should give further instructions ... The main road from the city to the West goes just to Porto Valum. And it won't be hard to find it. Meanwhile, in the city, you can complete several side quests, such as: Save the blacksmith, free the seraph, kill the wolves, save the little boy, find the magic book and others. For each side quest completed, you will receive experience and money. I won't talk about side quests anymore. It's just about the storyline. After the side quests have been completed, you can go to Porto Valum. On the way to the city, it will be possible to meet a small village in which there is a merchant. As soon as you cross the bridge, you will immediately meet Treville.
After talking with the sergeant, you will receive the task to free Wilbur, who was captured by the orcs, and escort him to the Urkenburg fortress, located in the desert, to Prince Valor. Wilbur's place of detention is in the depths of the forest. The most important thing is to see the path leading to it. After you free Wilbur, exit the forest and head south along the road leading to Urkenburg. In the fortress, the prince can be found in the building farthest from the entrance.
The prince will tell us that he needs our help. He will ask us, along with Wilbur, to go to the Raven Rock castle and inform Baron DeMordry that Prince Valor needs his help. Prince Valor will give us a portal rune, by activating which you will open the portal.
After teleportation, we find ourselves in the camp where Wilbur was rescued. We go to Porto Valum, stock up on everything we need, sell unnecessary things and go to Fairy Crossings, a small town in front of the northern forests. To reach it, you need to move along the left bank of the river. In the city you will find a bridge leading across the river. Further along the path you can reach the castle Raven Rock. After entering through the central gate, look for a path to the north, but do not cross the river that crosses the city.
After talking with Baron DeMordry and receiving a message that one elite garrison will be enough, and will also give us a ring, which is a sign that says that we are the baron's envoys... There are two ways to go to the location of that same garrison. The first is to leave the castle through the same gate we entered and head north. Then to the northeast. So we get to the village of the Grave of a Miner. The second way: Exit the castle through the southeast gate and move northeast to the village of Wulfdale. In the village, go west from the forge and you will run into a rock. Somewhere in this area there is a through cave, the exit from which is located east of the Miner's Tomb. The second path is longer, but the first is more dangerous.
From the Tomb of the Miner we find the way to the elite garrison. Let's watch the video.

Passage of the game Sacred. 2nd part

Turns out we've been betrayed! And the ring that Baron DeMordry gave us was a black mark, the owner of which should be killed! According to the Baron, the elite garrison will be able to kill us, but no such luck! A mortal wound in battle will be received by our companion Wilbur, who, dying, will ask to go to the prince and warn him of betrayal. Do not try to reboot, hoping that Wilbur will not be offended this time ... According to the quest, he is destined to die.
Further, our path lies in the Wyvern Gorge, which is located in the southwest of Ancaria. To quickly move, use the teleport, which is located east of the camp of the elite garrison. Teleport to Port Valum. When leaving the city, an ambush will await us. We must leave the city to the west, then all the time along the rocks, first to the north, then to the south ... As a result, we should end up at a small outpost at the entrance to the gorge. The guards of the outpost attack us at the entrance to the gorge, but there are only a couple of them...
The area at the entrance to the gorge is inhabited mainly by goblins and orcs. Departing deeper and deeper into the desert, orcs with goblins change into undead. And far to the south you can meet black warriors, the Knights of Sharrad-Nur, who will show more than once where the crayfish hibernate. Move south along the gorge, and a little west, you will reach the right place.
The first thing you will see is a battlefield littered with corpses! It turns out that the troops of Prince Valor took the general battle with the orcs. And in an unequal battle they were defeated. But where is Prince Valor? Everyone is dead, only one dying warrior lies in the middle of the battlefield... He wants you to bring him water. To the south of this place there is a small oasis where you will encounter a large concentration of undead. There should be a bottle of water next to the oasis. If not, it's a bug in the game itself. Just open the console with the tilde (~) button and type the word wasser, which means water in German, then press Enter. The bubble will appear. Now take the vial and go to the dying war. He will tell you that the prince managed to leave the battlefield. And also the dying person will say that Baroness Villa Mascarellskaya knows where to find Prince Valor. Now we must hasten to Mascarell. There are two ways to get out of Wyvern Gorge. This is on foot, as well as got there, or using a teleport. The teleport can be found northwest of the battlefield. Getting to Mascarell will not be difficult and not long.
In the city, go to the farthest island, find Baroness Mascarellskaya in the house, on the second floor, talk. She will tell you that DeMordry's troops have occupied the city and do not allow her to leave her house. Villa Mascarell will ask you to escort her to the small fortress of Tir Fasul, which is located in the forests north of Mascarell. When leaving the house, you will meet a pretty decent group of enemies. This time, supporters of Prince Valor help you and making your way through the ranks of opponents, you will leave the island and head north, you need to go north across the bridge, and further along the road that will lead you to Tir-fasul. In the fortress you will find Prince Valor.
Prince Valor will tell you about the death of King Aarnum of Ancaria, as well as the fact that Baron DeMordry has seized the throne. The prince will offer you to turn to the sorceress Sharifa and help her. Sharifa, on the other hand, wants to know the reason for such an aggressive behavior of the orcs and will open a portal to Akhil-Tal, from which we have to move to the Orc fortress, in Khorad-Nur, in the southwest. At the entrance to the fortress there is a guard who will refuse to let you inside just like that. He will offer us a choice: either measure strength or carry out a special assignment. If you want to get inside as quickly as possible and move further along the quest, then it's easier to kill him. The guard will not put up a worthy resistance. If you want to get a pretty solid amount of experience, then you can take the task and you will have to fight the undead dragon. The dragon is protected by a pretty decent group of skeletons and skeleton magicians. After killing the dragon, you will be able to enter. In the city you will meet an orc shaman who will tell you about the invasion of the undead and give you the Demon Horn. Let's watch the video.

Passage of the game Sacred. 3rd part

Act 3 is the longest in the game, get ready. And now our path lies in the castle of Braverock, to Prince Valor. At Braverock Castle, you will have to find the rebels. Find a woman in the city center and talk to her, she will advise you to contact the thief, which you can find near the Call of Ascaron tavern, in front of the castle. The thief will tell you about the agreement between the thieves and the rebels, and that Valor is in the catacombs under the tavern and will open the door leading to them...
In catacombs 3 levels. The first is the most difficult and confusing, you may have to get lost on it. The second level is much easier. On the third is Prince Valor and the Sorceress Sharif. Talk to the prince and Sharifa. She will ask you to escort her to the Seraphim Monastery in the Ice Creek Valley...
The sorceress will open a portal leading to the entrance to the tavern, and you won't have to go back through the catacombs. We will have to move far to the north, into the valley of Ice Creek. We will have to go through the camp where we learned about the betrayal. Please pay attention. There are enough glitches in the game, and one of them is that while traveling to the valley, the sorceress Sharifa can be killed and then the quest will not go through at all. Be careful and save often! And if she did get killed, reboot
Having teleported near the camp, our path lies to the northeast, across the ford, to the snow-covered lands of the monastery. Cross the icy river and follow along its northern bank until you see ice cliffs and a path under them... follow the path. Cross the second river and enter the gates of the ruined fortress, then again keep your way to the northeast, past the already painfully familiar chest with personal belongings. Talk to Seraphim at the entrance to the monastery, she will tell you that the monastery has been captured by Ice giants and goblins, and that trouble awaits us on the way to the library.
After finding the library, talk to the seraph and then to the sorceress Sharifa. She will tell you that you need four elemental artifacts and offer to collect them. Now exit the library and head to the place where you talked to the first seraph, at the entrance to the monastery. However, do not go out to her, but go north, to a breach in the wall. And go through it. After leaving the other side of the cave, go west along the path. Enter the building and up the stairs. And so we found the First Element. Now go a little to the west and you will encounter a dragon. Want to mention, not a big trick. All dragons in the game have a very good drop of unique items. After beating the Dragon until one or two are left, you can save. Each time you download and destroy the dragon, you will receive different things. And finally, having killed him, take the rune of the portal, and look a little northwest for a small portal-pedestal. When you approach it, it will activate. The exit from this portal is just past the entrance to Wyvern Gorge. It is through him that our path to the second element of Ancaria lies.
Move to the western edge of the gorge and go along the cliffs, all the way to the southwest, until you find a climb up into the lands filled with lava. The place is quite unpleasant, and you may have difficulty with flying monsters. Each character solves this problem in his own way ...
After going to the marker, enter the first cave, and go through it ... It should be noted that in the cave you will find a small settlement where you can trade and exchange runes. Having reached the marker, exit to the surface, and go to the next marker, which again points to the cave... In this cave you will meet another dragon, killing which you will rise to the surface, where you will find the second element of Ancaria. To the southwest of the second element is a portal that activates a rune dropped by a dragon. This portal will save you from having to travel twice through lava-filled lands...
The portal exit is south of Bravesbury, a small town between Silver Creek and Braverock. Now our path lies through Breivrock, to the northeast of Ancaria. To the southeast of Braverock you will find a bridge through which you can cross the river, the other side of which you saw at the very beginning of the game. After the bridge, follow the path to Bravewall. After him, continue along the path to a fork, then go east, then along the cliff until you see a new path leading northeast to strange caves guarded by Dark Elves. This is Zhurag-Nar, the famous and sinister city of the Dark Elves. In it you will have to go all the time to the northeast (Attention!!! Do not go down to the lower levels! Move all the time only along the first level), until the gate is closed. To open the gate you will have to kill the key keeper, who is located northwest of the door. Then you will continue your movement to the northeast, through the door, and fight with a monster, something resembling a jellyfish Gargon. Behind it you will see swing bridges, behind which is the third element of Ancaria.
Our path lies in Verag-Nar, which is located down the river, from the city of the Dark Elves. At the very marker you will meet a man who will tell you that Verag-Nar is flooded, and you need to go to the gnomes' caves to open the water flow... The gnomes' caves are located to the east of Zhurag-Nar. Return to it and look for a ford across the river, then a little to the north and you will see a cave. You can also get to these caves from Zhurag-Nara, this is in fact the second level of the Zhurag-Nara caves ... Our path lies to the third level, so look for a passage to the lower level. The third level is inhabited by a dragon and many other strong monsters. Go to the marker to the lever that opens the water drain, then get out of the dungeon and go back to Verag-Nar. Verag-Nar itself is very small, and it will not be difficult to find the fourth element there...
Now you need to go to Mistdale, the city to the south. It is clearly visible on the map. Talk to Sharifa, she will tell you that it's time to go to Shaddar Nar for the fifth element. Look for a path to the southeast from Mistdale. Finding it is quite difficult, but you should focus your efforts in the area below the zoo... Go along the path to the southeast, you will meet Shaddar Rima on your way - this is a sign that you are on the right path. Next, you will see a portal, which you will use. Once in the desert, look for the cave to which the marker is indicated, it is through and will lead you near Shaddar-Nar. It remains only to go along the winding path to the fortress and go down to the dungeons. After you find the fifth element, head to the Ascaron Tavern in Braverock. After talking with the rebels, you will learn that it is time to overthrow De Mordry from the throne. Accompanied by three companions, go to the castle, which is located north of the combo master and the portal. After dealing with the guards, go west to the gate. The gate is not easy to open. It is necessary to move the cursor very carefully over the upper part of the gate in order for the cursor to change its appearance, then press the left mouse button and enter the castle. After dealing with Baron De Mordry, talk to Prince Valor and the sorceress Sharifa. She will take you to the heart of Ancaria, after which she will leave. Activate the Heart and you will see the demon Saqqara. You will have to kill him. After that, you need to use the heart of Ancaria again to pick up everything that we put there before. There are glitches in this place and it is not always possible to pick up your good from the first time. You may have to leave the level several times and come back again in order for everything to work. go to Prince Valor. Arriving, we find that the princess has been kidnapped and Prince Valor has been killed. And also that our Sharifa is Shaddar!

This is the final fourth act. Now you need to finish the job, and therefore we are going back to Shaddar-Nur. Find a portal in the fortress and enter it. Kill the Priests of Saqqara first. Then Shaddar himself. You just can't beat him like that! A little trick is required here. You need to pick up glowing balls flying around the room! This is the only way to damage Shaddar. After killing Shaddar, you pass the game.

Now you can start passing on silver. To do this, export your character. And start walking. Good luck!

Orc resort island

If you go from Khorad-Nur south to the sea, and then all the way east, to the cliff, you will find a narrow path leading to the pier. On the pier, you will notice a boat on which you can get to the island where the orcs rest. The orc at the pier will ask us to rid him of annoying tourists. Trample the towels of these orc tourists and they will attack you. After you kill everyone, talk again with the orc on the pier and he will give you sunglasses as a gift.

Jedi Laser Sword

When playing as the Seraph, you have the opportunity to get a real Jedi lightsaber. First you need to free a seraph captured by black magicians near Bellevue. This seraph is being held in a cave east of the old mansion where the vampiress starts. Then go to Khorad-Nur and go east from it, across the bed of a dried up river, go south to the rocks, and again east along them. You will see a burned building, in which you will find a dying seraph, after the death of which you will get a laser sword.

Pacman Level

In the city of Fairy Crossing, go behind the blacksmith's house to the north, and turn west. When you reach the forest, look for a barely noticeable path leading to the southwest. At the end of the trail, you'll find a cave that contains a Pacman mini-game. Collect yellow balls, they add experience, and blue ones should be avoided, because. they do damage...

Tristram

Exit Mistdale Castle and follow the riverbank to the northeast. Having thus passed to the sources of the river, you will find the village of Tristram, well known to you from the first Diablo.

Jason's stuff

North of the village of Drakkenden (the one where the peaceful dragon lives) there is a well-camouflaged path through the woods leading to a clearing containing Jason's hockey mask and machete from the movie Friday the 13th. Only the Gladiator can use them.

vampire queen

Entering the Call of Ascaron tavern, which is located south of Braverock and going to the upper right corner, you can talk to a man named Lucius, then kill him and pick up the key, which will open the entrance to the X6 dungeon. then going to the X7 dungeon - you can fight the Queen of Vampires.

Note: only works when playing as Vampiressa

Torvin's grave

You can come to the grave in two ways:

1. through dungeon 73, which is located southwest of South Hedgeton

2. through dungeon 76, west of the dragon, named Sssilith, Swamp Dragon

Then, once in the area with a small lake, find a tree (red circle) - under it there will be a grave in which you are guaranteed to find Torvin's Mace.

Additionally, in the same place, you can complete a secret quest:

pick up the sword (green circle) and take it to the lake, where the forest shooter Arogarn will be waiting for you.

Note: The secret quest can only be completed by completing the "Wood Shooter Arogarn" quest - southwest of Bellevue - not far from the Dark Elf and Wood Elf spawns.

hidden grave

Vertically up from Mascarell, there is an island. Near the island there is a quest "Boris of Garfield". Then across the island and across the river to the left. Then up the river, so that the river is on the right, until the forest appears. And through the forest up and to the left there is an invisible path that leads to the grave. There is an ax and a bow, and the name and 2 dates are written on the grave.

Sacred Underworld

Babylon 5

This easter egg from the movie Babylon 5, at the bottom of the cave lies the Shadow Cruiser. Found in the Dryad Forest. It is an elevator leading to the cave. If you approach the cruiser, it will instantly kill you, as evidenced by the inscription in the next room.

lumber merchant

In the location Underworld "a" Embalming Forest "there is a hidden merchant who is located in the forests, you can get to him through a small path through the forest. The merchant itself is unremarkable, but he will not be superfluous either.

Timber Trader 2

In the location Underworld "a" Embalming Forest "there is another hidden merchant. He hides in a house near the gate leading to the task of the Green Hell and is an undead, his name is Mick swift (pirate).

your grave

There is a grave in the Khaduk settlement, when you try to open it, the name of your character is written on it, there is nothing remarkable in the grave.

Arkanoid

In the forest of the Dryads, as you know, there are two portals. Through the one located to the north (with an arch) you get into the room where the merchant stands, and the room has an arkanoid. You can play it. How? - easy to guess. Winning is experience. (100 per hit ball). Sometimes the portal does not open, if this happens, then you need to go through the entire quest "The Way of the War" and jump through the passage into the portal and teleport to the Dryad Forest.

mountain cemetery

In the north of the Volcano Island there is an entrance to the caves in the form of a stone gazebo. The way there is very, very simple - only the blind can fail to notice it. The route is marked on the map, and its "secret" part is actually a straight line among dense thickets of trees. We go into the cave. The undead are falling on us and we are quickly clearing the dungeon from enemies. There are a great many graves in Ancaria and the Dungeons, and less and less often we discover new ones. But in vain! When you open the graves in this dungeon, bosses like the Forest God, etc. will rain down on you. And in the northern part of the dungeons, heroes crawl out of the graves (Dark Elf or Elf, etc.)
