The bottom line is that the Enchantress Fiona at the meeting says that she was not going to agree on any alliance with the Inquisition, and in general did not leave any messages about the meeting, and the free magicians have already sworn allegiance to the Tevinter empire. In addition, she now has no influence on the magicians, since the head of the order has become Master Gerion Alexius. Yep, it's more or less clear now. The Tevinterers put their "Yanukovych" in the person of this Alexius. So now I have to either negotiate with him, or remove him and install a person more loyal to the Inquisition, the same Fiona. In many ways, completing locations in Dragon Age Inquisition is similar to farming experience and gold in any MMORPG.

The Hinterlands are located between Ostagar Keep and Redcliffe. In the center of this region there are ancient fortresses and farms, through which the main character will have to travel and help the locals. The fact is that it was on this area that the fate fell to endure the confrontation between magicians and templars. Therefore, the Hinterlands are presented as a rather destroyed and lost region - everywhere there is fire, turmoil and only rare farmers continue to do their farming, no matter what.

But not only magicians and guards force residents to flee their homes in a hurry, wherever their eyes look. In the hills near Redcliffe, there are demons that were summoned with the help of rifts. By the way, the player will have to close these faults with the help of his strength.

Quests

The Hinterlands in Dragon Age Inquisition is one of the first and main locations. This is where most of the first half of the game will take place. Story missions, which take place separately in this region, are not here. But it is full of additional quests that are scattered at every step. The player can do quests, close gates, look for notes and items, pick up pages from the codex.

Enemies

The "indigenous people" of the location include wild animals - wolves and bears. They will have to be killed in the course of several tasks, but otherwise the animals do not do any harm.

Demons are another dangerous foe in the Hinterlands. They fight with everyone - your squad, mages and templars. In total, in the location you can meet 4 types of such enemies: demons of horror, despair, anger and ghosts.

And the last kind of enemies are dragons. There are only two of them in the Hinterlands: the Fereland frostbite and her hatchling. Do not rush to run "to visit" her, but first "pump" well and prepare the squad.

The quest will begin after you find a letter on the body of a dead dwarf in a small cave southeast of the original camp. We go to the place indicated on the map and encounter a magical barrier that closes the entrance to the cave. To destroy it, you need to attack it with "opposite" magic (in this case, the ice barrier), so we take a fire staff and shoot it at the barrier. Inside, we deal with the enemies and go into the very depths of the cave. There we find a vein of red lyrium.

Renegade Farmer

South of the original camp, a lone hut can be found. We go inside and talk to the widow Maura. She will ask you to find the ring that the templars took when they killed her husband. We go to the place marked on the map and kill all the templars, and from the body of one of them we take the ring, which we return to Maura.

Love will wait

In the southeast of the original camp, in the gorge, we find a letter on the corpse of a woman. It follows from it that she was heading to her lover in a settlement in which the followers of a certain cult live ("Exile of Lornan"). We go to the area marked on the map. After passing through the gate, we go to the right and go up the stairs. We find Berand and report that his beloved Wellina died. In gratitude, this noble can join the Inquisition.

Glory to Herald Andraste

Speak with Anais at the entrance to the cult settlement ("Lornan's Exile"). She doubts that you are not the one you say you are. Having gone down, we kill all the enemies, and then we open the door next to the stairs along which we just went down. There again we kill everyone, including the leader of the bandits. This will complete the quest.

The quest starts after you pick up the mechanism (looks like a big gear) lying on the table in the room where the leader of the bandits was on the Big Trouble quest. The other part of the mechanism is on the other side of the abyss. We leave the room and go straight across the bridge and then into the locked room on the right. Felandaris is a plant that does not grow in the Hinterlands, but can be found in Emprise du Lion. The place of the altar where the plant should be taken is marked on the map. After you put the felandaris in front of the statue, a ghost will appear, which should be killed, and the quest will end there.

The task is taken from the recruit Vitla, standing west of the intersection. To complete it, you must search 5 areas marked on the map. There are boxes, barrels, bags, etc. in the right places. The quest is activated after we read the "Letter found in an abandoned house". This house is located north of the Crossroads in the Redcliffe Road area.
