Assassin's creed unity is not working. Hangs Assassin's Creed Unity slows down, freezes. Game won't start or crashes

Assassin's Creed: Unity has not yet been officially presented in Russia, but for several days it can be downloaded from torrents and played. Undoubtedly, like all such games, Assassin's Creed was not without bugs. Most of the players had problems installing and launching the game, as well as saves. In addition, on many PCs, the game lags, friezes appear and FPS sags terribly. Let's figure out how to fix all these technical problems originated with Assassin's Creed: Unity

Assassin's Creed: Unity - Solving Technical Problems

The official release of "Unity" should take place on November 13, 2014. The game will take you back to the time of the French Revolution, to Paris in 1789. A city filled with chaos meets a player named Arno, who must help France choose a new path. Let's divide all game bugs into two categories: errors and problems.

Unzip the archive on your computer and transfer all the files to the folder with the game exe file. If you have a video card from NVidia, then copy the enbseries.ini file from the appropriate folder and into the directory with the Assassin's Creed exe file. With an ATI video card, the steps are similar. FPS this "antifreeze" does not increase, but reduces the number of brakes and makes its FPS more stable.

1. Problem with installing Assassin's Creed: Unity and system requirements
So, "Assassin Creed: Unity" is a terribly resource-demanding game. If you do not have an Intel Core i5 or higher processor, 6 GB random access memory and a two-gigabyte video card (at least NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680), then you should not download the game. Of course, you can try to run the game on low settings, but you won't be able to see Paris in all its glory. In addition, the installer licensed game weighs 40 gigabytes, slightly smaller repacks - 28-32 GB. Installation requires at least 50 GB free space on the winchester. If Assassin's Creed: Unity won't install, you most likely don't have enough free space on your hard drive. To get started, clear the space under "Unity", and then install the game.

2. Not saved in "Assassin Creed Unity" save
The eternal problem of all pirate games- the inability to save the passage of the game. If you downloaded the repack with the Steam006 tablet, then the save will not work. Therefore, you will have to delete the game and download a new repack with the Ali213 v4 tablet, from which everything is saved and loaded.

3. Assassin's crashes Creed Unity
Perhaps this is the most common problem among players. The first step is to download new drivers for the video card. NVIDIA specially released a driver update for video adapters for the game. Open the site http://www.nvidia.ru/Download/index.aspx?lang=ru and download the drivers for your vidyuhu. Also, verify the integrity of the game cache through Steam. Most likely the game file got corrupted somewhere.

4. Assassin's Creed Unity slows down and freezes, sags FPS
Alas, a new version"Unity" is too gluttonous and demanding on resources. As a result, at maximum settings, the game will slow down on almost all PCs with average hardware. If you do not want Assassin's Creed to slow down, then change the computer hardware. However, you can do the following without upgrading your PC.

Update drivers and software. NVIDIA has specially optimized drivers for their video cards for Assassin's Creed Unity (driver version 344.65). You should also always run the game as an administrator. If you have a laptop, then set the performance mode in the power plans. Not enough RAM? Buy a bar or increase the size of the paging file.

In case of freezes and brakes, you should lower the graphics settings to FPS boost, disable vertical sync, remove SSAO and shadows.

5. uPlay won't connect to the server
Most likely, extra entries from other pirated games have appeared in your hosts file. Open hosts with any text editor at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look at the end of the file. If there are the following lines, then feel free to delete them and save the file. After that, uPlay will connect to the server.
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit-savegames.s3.amazonaws.com
127.0.0.1 static3.cdn.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 orbitservice.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit.s3.amazonaws.com
127.0.0.1 onlineconfigservice.ubi.com

6.Error after launching Assassin's Creed: Unity
If, after launching the game shortcut, a window “ The problem that has arisen has led to an increment in the work of the program. Windows will close this program“Then, alas, your hardware does not meet the minimum system requirements. In your case, you can only get rid of the error window, but this will not solve the problem with the game. Open the registry, go to the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting and change the DontShowUI parameter from 0 to 1.

7. Error when entering "Assassin Creed: Unity"
If, when launching the shortcut, a picture with Assassin appears, and then a window with an error indicating that the ACU.exe program is not working, then you need to open the application with the game, find the ACU.exe file there and run it as an administrator. If the error “ACU.exe is not working” occurs, then open Uplay, and then disable the “Enable in-game overlay for supported games” item by unchecking it.

8. What is Assassin's Creed Unity: Golden Edition?
The Golden Edition is an add-on to the game (DLC), in which the player has the maximum game content and new missions. Arno will have to restore order in the Saint-Denis commune, there will be 3 additional tasks, ten new costumes and twenty types of weapons, as well as a unique weapon - the Blade of the Lily.

9. What is Assassin's Creed Unity: Special Edition?
The Special Edition is another addition to the game, in which the player will have additional tasks for 30 minutes of game time, in which he must rid Paris of a dirty poison bomb. The expansion includes new weapons and clothing, as well as the Royal Armory Pack.

10. "Game is encrypted" error in Assassin's Creed: Unity
If you get "Game is encrypted", it means that the game is encrypted in your region and you won't be able to launch it until the game is officially released.

Solutions to new problems that have arisen in the game will be described in future articles.

In this article, we will help you get rid of the most common problems that tend to occur in Assassin's Creed Unity. First of all, technical problems with the game will be solved. Various troubles that prevent us from playing calmly.

As you know, Assassin's Creed Unity is a rather large and complex game in its structure, and it is not surprising that sometimes the game gives various kinds of failures. Due to the size of the map and all the buildings that are recreated on a 1: 1 scale, the game got quite high system requirements, which is not a plus for stable work for most players.

So, we have made below some solutions to problems with Assassin's Creed Unity, which we hope will help you.

Assassin's Creed Unity crashes

In this subheading, we will solve one of the most common problems with the game. So, if you have noticed crashes in Assassin's Creed Unity, then it's time to start solving problems.

1. Make sure you have a Profile folder in your game folder. Otherwise, it's better to download it. This folder contains saves.

1. Verify the integrity of the game cache on Steam. This is done in the game properties, in the library Steam games. It is possible that some file has been corrupted.

You need to do it in uPlay.

2. Run the game as an administrator and make sure that there is enough free space on the Windows drive and on the game drive.

Install a swap file for the game.

3. Update your game software:

4. Essential lower your game settings and most importantly smoothing. MSAA must be disabled.

5. Remember that if you play a pirate, then it is quite possible that your repack has some individual problems. We recommend reading the distribution.

For example, one of the Mechanics' repacks had a broken crack, which caused the game to crash.

A very good practice is to change the crack (pill). For example, on ALI213v5

Assassin's Creed Unity slows down, freezes

Does FPS sag in Assassin's Creed Unity? Or do you sometimes experience freezes in the game?

In any case, we have already done a fairly detailed material on solving this problem. So, if you have brakes in Assassin's Creed Unity, then you are on.

Assassin's Creed Unity won't start

In the event that Assassin's Creed Unity suddenly refuses to start, we think that we can help you with this. The fact is that we have covered in detail the solution to problems with launching the game.

Assassin's Creed Unity not saved

If you are playing a licensed copy of Steam, then try verifying the integrity of the cache.

If you play a pirate, then most likely you will be helped by running the game on behalf of the system administrator. In principle, this technique can help licensed copies games.

We recommend that you install the save immediately after training. After that, the game can be saved. See saves for the game on this page.

Also, the problem often appears due to incorrectly working cracks. Try playing with a different crack. For example, the game is saved on ALI213 v5, but not on ALI213 v4.

The image is stretched in Assassin's Creed Unity

If you have resolution problems and the image in the Assassin's Creed Unity game is too stretched, which does not look natural, then you need to turn off the option in the game settings "Stretch Screen".

Gamepad not working in Assassin's Creed Unity

If you have a pirate, then the problem can easily lie in a crooked pill. In general, you can have a PlayStation gamepad, not an XBOX. With such gamepads there are problems in many games. We wrote about how to solve them in this article.

If you are interested in solving another problem with Assassin's Creed Unity, then write about it in the comments.

Many were waiting for the release of the continuation of the legendary series, which reveals to the gamer the wonderful world of antiquity in the face of the mysterious and semi-mythical brotherhood of the Assassins. After, literally, a couple of days, the official website, as well as all kinds of forums dedicated to this game, began to be filled with a huge number of complaints about an unforgivably large number of errors (bugs) in the game, as well as an extremely low frame rate per second (FPS).

All this, moreover, was picked up by those who simply could not enter the game. There are enough reasons for this. Let's try to eradicate at least them, and leave the fixing of bugs on the conscience of the developers.

Assassin's Creed: Unity system requirements

First of all, you should cut off the system requirements of Assassin's Creed: Unity as a problem due to which the game refused to start. The minimum characteristics that your computer must have to at least adequately run should be as follows: an Intel Core i5-2500K processor with a clock speed of 3.3 GHz or an AMD equivalent of the FX-8350 with a frequency of 4.0 GHz; the amount of RAM on your computer should be 6 GB; free hard disk space - approximately 50 GB; video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680/AMD Radeon HD 7970 (in other words, about 2 GB of video memory).

For example, if despite the appropriate amount of RAM, you are still experiencing "visaki", the solution may be to increase the swap files on your computer.

If all the parameters are normal, but the game does not work, then the problem is different. In the event that notification messages containing the following threatening ciphers are displayed on the desktop outside the game launch site: “0x0000XXXm d3_d11, directx, dx11”, etc., then you should install DirectX 11.0. If the messages are of the following interpretation: "runtime, mcvc 100.dll, mcvcr.dll, 0x00000b", then in this case, your computer does not have the Microsoft Visual C ++ Redist software, NET Framework Microsoft XNA. This problem is solved by establishing the above.

The application must be launched on behalf of the system registrar, and also, do not forget that the folder where the game is located, as well as the user profile name, must not contain Cyrillic or any specific characters. This refers to the standard rules for proper installation.

It would be logical to use the Depence Walker software, which allows you to automatically find the reason for the failure to start, in other words, a damaged file, which can later be easily replaced with a working analogue from the Internet.

Assassin's Creed: Unity review

On November 13, 2014, the long-awaited release of the non-general Assassins Creed: Unity (the release date coincided for all platforms), developed and published by Ubisoft, took place. Did the French manage to make something qualitatively new out of "Unity"? Why are many forums full of messages that in Assassins Creed: Unity optimization is at an extremely bad level? We will talk about all this below in our article.

Assassins Creed: Unity - single review

All year Ubisoft tried to prove that new part"Assassin's Creed" will be a real revolution in the genre, leaving far behind all its competitors. Say, they started developing a very long time ago, and therefore fresh ideas and innovations are just a dime a dozen. In principle, they did not deceive us, because there are really a lot of innovations in Unity. Many aspects of the game have been reworked, something the series has been needing for so long. Let's talk about some of them.

First of all, I would like to mention the secondary quests, which have never been famous for their variety and fascination in the Assassins Creed series. In the new part, the developers approached this issue more responsibly and competently, somewhat changing the mechanics and style additional tasks. Here you have full-fledged investigations in the spirit of Sherlock Holmes, and the destruction of the satanic cult, and much more. It is immediately clear that most of the missions were created manually, for which special thanks to the developers. It is logical to assume that since such a picky attitude was taken to the secondary quest branches, then story line became much more interesting and exciting. The story has many plot twists and dramatic moments that are close in spirit to the second part of The Silent Assassin. There is no trace of the former boredom of the past parts, which is especially pleasant to realize for both newcomers to the series and its veterans.

No less important processing in Assassins Creed 5: Unity has undergone a system of parkour and movement. New animations have been created for all characters, and freerunning now has 2 types, the first of which has priority for descending, and the second for ascending. From this feature, what is happening on the screen becomes even more spectacular and exciting. Otherwise, everything remains the same: Arno (that's the name of the main character) climbs almost any building in Paris without much difficulty, and from the highest points he can also synchronize, opening a certain section of the map. Management, however, is heavily overloaded, but this drawback has been present in all parts of the series and, perhaps, will never completely disappear.

Next, I would like to say a few words about the combat system, which has also been somewhat modernized. First of all, the developers have changed the animation and mechanics of the battles, which have become much more complex. As you remember, in Black Flag Edward was a real terminator, cracking down on enemies right and left, having 4 pistols and 2 swords in his arsenal. Arno will no longer be so invulnerable, because the developers cut out counterattacks for more thorough battle tactics on the part of the player. Now you will not be able to deal with 10 guards in a few seconds, because they are as deft with a saber as our protagonist. Arno can easily get hit in the neck, and therefore stealth mechanics and the use of various bombs are now a priority. Finally, let's mention character customization and leveling. Just in the menu, the player can now buy a lot of different costumes for Arno, which in one way or another will affect the Unity gameplay. Game mechanics can now be applied on multiple fronts. Like to do everything in secret? Then you need to pick up clothes with stealth bonuses. Want action and more bloody battles? Then buy clothes for close combat. Along with this, there is an opportunity to change its color, as well as purchase various accessories. In general, there are plenty of variations. Finally, there was a leveling of the character by the type of an ordinary RPG. Did it do any good? No. The experience points that we earn during the game are spent on banal skills that, for some reason, were cut out of the main skills of the character: lockpicking, the ability to get lost among NPCs on a bench, and the like. Perhaps the only reason why Ubisoft screwed this element of gameplay into the game is microtransactions. Well, the thirst for profit often destroys many.

Let's also talk about sound. The soundtrack for the game, written by Sarah Shriner and Chris Tilton, is not remembered for outstanding compositions, as was the case, for example, in AC 2. However, the voice actors have worked hard in the game, which makes the dialogue seem really alive. Assassins Creed: Unity in Russian also does not cut the ear, but it is much more comfortable to play with translated subtitles and original voice acting.

Assassins Creed: Unity - Co-op Review

As many already know, Ubisoft cut the multiplayer mode from the novelty by introducing the long-awaited co-op, which turned out to be not so bad. There are no particularly outstanding missions, but they are organized in stages, and also artificially complicated due to the number of rivals. The most outstanding were tasks designed for 4 characters, which boast an excellent setting with thefts, chases, etc. Unfortunately, quite often all adventures with friends turn into speed races, where everyone wants to be the first to deal with the goal. It has its own charm, but definitely not the way the guys from Ubisoft saw it. However, the last word is always yours.

Optimization

Optimization, where are you? Why did you leave us? To be honest, it seems that the developers have never heard of this word. And we are talking not even about the PC version, where every second developer forgets how this is done, but this even applies to consoles, where the declared 30 FPS are extremely rare. At least that's the case for the PS4 version. A noticeable part of the time, the game frankly lags, which spoils all the pleasant impressions received from the long-awaited innovations. Nothing bad to say about the version for Xbox One, where the game "flies" at 900p. However, the first impression was greatly spoiled, which drastically affected the critics' ratings and overall sales, but more on that later.

Why is the optimization so crooked in Assassins Creed: Unity? Of course, it's all about the technical component. The game looks simply stunning. The crowd effect is excellent, and most of the NPCs in the frame behave quite decently, even if they flaunt repetitive animations. Recreated Paris late XVIII century is beyond praise, and therefore a fascinating tour of one of the greatest cities of our time is provided for you. All buildings look expressive and beautiful, and the 1:1 scale only adds to the effect of presence. The authors modeled many famous architectural monuments with amazing accuracy, among which Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre Palace, the Arc de Triomphe and other delights of Parisian sights stand out. Other features of the graphic component also turned out to be excellent: excellent detailing of characters and objects, realistic shadows, a bewitching play of light, and so on.

However, the pursuit of the most beautiful picture and "green papers" became a big miss for Ubisoft. Perhaps the developers should not have been in such a hurry to release the revolutionary Assassin. Yes, the game turned out to be beautiful, with a good plot and a bunch of innovations, but after the release, its dampness was obvious. The modified Anvil engine is terribly unoptimized, the consequences of which poor gamers feel on themselves by purchasing the next part of Assassins Creed: Unity. Optimization, of course, is also possible after the release of the game by releasing patches. On the this moment the game has been updated to version 1.4, and the latest patch weighs over 5 Gb. Has anything drastically changed? The answer is quite expected - no. On PS4, of course, the game began to work more stably, but on PC, terrible FPS sagging is still observed. Owners of even the most top-end video cards complain about the poor performance of the product. For comfortable gameplay with 30 FPS, you will need a strong enough "monster", the system requirements of which we will indicate below. Finally, numerous bugs concerning both our hero and the characters surrounding him have not disappeared. What can you say? Today, Assassins Creed: Unity optimization is at the level of last year's Battlefield 4, the developers of which still cannot cope with all the problems. Let's hope that soon the guys from Ubisoft will change the situation for the better.

System requirements (minimum)

As you have already understood from the section above, the non-XG Assassin is extremely poorly optimized, and therefore you will need a lot to play the game. What kind of hardware is needed to run the revolutionary streets of Paris at low settings?

  • OS: Windows 7/8 (only 64-bit versions are supported).
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / x4 940.
  • RAM: 6 Gb.
  • Video card: GeForce GTX 680 / Radeon HD 7970.
  • DirectX 11.
  • HDD space: 50 Gb.

What, for minimum requirements even very stupid. The same Battlefield 4 or Metro Redux can be run on high level graphics settings, having such a computer.

What are the requirements for Assassins Creed: Unity comfortable game on high settings and in normal resolution?

  • OS: Windows 8.
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX-8350.
  • RAM: 8 Gb;.
  • Video card: GeForce / Radeon R9 290X.
  • DirectX 11.
  • HDD space: 50 Gb.

For a simple gamer, the above requirements will seem overly high, but even on such systems you will encounter tons of bugs and terrible FPS sagging. best advice for a gamer, it will be the purchase of a console, which will certainly cost less than a top-end computer. Well, these are the requirements for Assassins Creed: Unity. On weaker systems, you can not even try to play, because as soon as you spend your nerves.

Add-ons

Of course, like its predecessors, the game Assassins Creed: Unity will acquire additions that fuel interest in the title. In total, the DLC should add 8 hours of gameplay, which is quite good for the average fan of the series. The biggest one will be Fallen Kings, which is a new campaign that we will also play as Arno. The scene will change to the small town of Saint-Denis, and the action will take place in 1794. At the same time, new tasks in Paris will open up for the player, and the already impressive arsenal will also be updated somewhat. Finally, the latest DLC that Assassins Creed: Unity can boast of will be China digital content, where we will play as the apprentice of the legendary Shao Yun. The game will take place in 2.5D format, and gamers will be able to see the Great Wall of China with their own eyes and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the ancient world.

Editions

For Assassins Creed 5: Unity, several editions were provided, differing significantly in content and other "goodies".

  1. The special edition will include the game itself, as well as additional mission for the single "Chemical Revolution".
  2. Bastille Edition includes game, artbook, official soundtrack CD, 2 lithographs, Chemical Revolution and American Prisoner missions, and an exclusive case.
  3. The Notre Dame Edition includes the game, a 39.5cm Arno figurine, an artbook, 2 lithographs, an official soundtrack CD, an exclusive case and the 2 aforementioned missions.
  4. Guillotine Collector's Edition includes game, 41cm Arno figurine, artbook, official soundtrack disc, 2 lithographs, stylized secret map of Paris, wooden deck playing cards for the French tarot, a picture on canvas in a frame, a set of various equipment for the single, as well as the 2 aforementioned missions.

These are quite interesting editions for Assassins Creed: Unity PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions. It is worth noting that collector's editions will cost you a pretty penny, since, for example, the cost of "Notre Dame" is 4,500 rubles. You have to pay for pleasure.

Scandals

The release of Assassins Creed: Unity was somewhat overshadowed, because a huge wave of negativity fell on the game, both from critics and ordinary gamers. A sea of technical bugs, FPS drops and other problems have become a real hell for fans of the series and newcomers. Ubisoft has never released such a raw product (in Assassins Creed: Unity, the release date was too early), and Watch_Dogs against its background looked like just an optimization ideal. Of course, this situation terribly spoiled the rating of the company, and many individuals even began to compare it with EA Games, which was repeatedly recognized as the worst studio.

What has Ubisoft done? Janis Mallat, who is the company, apologized on behalf of all employees, and also promised to correct all the errors made by the developers. Fortunately, this step was not limited to empty words, because players who bought the ACU will be presented with the Fallen Kings DLC. The same gamers who fork out for the Season Pass will be presented with one of the studio's games, which the player can choose ( Far Cry 4, Crew, Watch_Dogs and others). Well, the apologies turned out to be quite sincere, and the gifts were chic. However, everyone knows that nerve cells do not regenerate, and the release of Assassins Creed: Unity took away a lot of them.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue

This is just a consolation surprise for all those who did not have time to get a new generation console or a powerful PC, and therefore continue to be content with not the most attractive paste-gene graphics. In principle, the idea is pretty good, because at the time when Assassins Creed: Unity comes out, there remains a fairly large community of people who want to go on an Assassin's journey on old consoles. Considering the novelty without taking into account last year's Black Flag, you can find a lot of advantages: sea battles, hunting, seamless open world, non-trivial setting and so on. But here's the bad luck - in 2013, an almost exact copy of The Outcast was released, but in the Caribbean scenery. Differences of the game are noticeable only in the plot, but the presentation remained at the same level. The guys from the Bulgarian branch of Ubisoft copied almost everything: from rather monotonous missions to walks around the offices of Abstergo. Of course, they added a couple of fresh ideas, but they are virtually invisible against the general background. In defense of Rogue, it is worth noting that as a consolation prize, the game turned out to be quite good: maritime theme paid even more attention, the plot is sometimes full of quite exciting missions, and the new location does not let you get bored during the passage. However, at the time Assassins Creed: Unity is released, Rogue One seems to have faded, though ultimately it's up to you to decide.

Finally

Ubisoft knows how to make beautiful and exciting games, but the desire to fill your pockets with American rubles often causes failure. Give the developers 1 more year, and Assassins Creed: Unity (PC, PS4, XOne) would be one of the best games that have ever existed. But it came out raw and unfinished, causing outrage among millions of gamers. But is everything so bad? No, the game turned out to be very beautiful, with well-thought-out characters, an exciting plot, various missions and good co-op, which first appeared in Assassins Creed: Unity. The gameplay mechanics have been redone, but this did not always have a positive effect on gameplay. Well, now the army of fans can be divided into 2 groups: those who praise the changes and innovations, and those who want the developers to return everything back. And which side are you on?

Such a number of errors at the launch of the game has not yet been with any game from Ubisoft, and with any other game of recent times, too. Luckily, some bugs are easily fixed with a few steps, and some problems are already known to the developers and are working on fixing them, although I don't understand why more funds could not be spent on testing the game in order to release the finished product? But it just so happened. Let's get down to reviewing the problems of the game Assassin's Creed: Unity

Important: install the latest game update. He corrects many graphics and interface errors and adds advanced settings to the game menu.

Assassins Creed: Unity black screen

Assassins Creed Unity error 0xc000007b
The error is not new and appears quite often in all titles from 2012 and more. Its solution can be found here, for example:

but first try just reinstalling .Net framework latest version and then restart your PC

Assassin's Creed Unity error 0X70000093, game won't connect
The problem may be temporary - try connecting later or
- restart the router
- unplug the internet cable from the computer for 10 seconds and plug it back in
- do a router reset

Assassin's Creed Unity crashes, APPCRASH
Update the video card drivers if you do not have the latest version, and if the latest, then try to roll back the drivers 2 versions back. Very often, rolling back the drivers helps solve the problem.
Turn off Uplay Overlay, disable your antivirus and try DEP on the game exe file, check the integrity of the files.
The problem can also be solved by completely removing the video card drivers, then restarting the PC and reinstalling the latest drivers.

Assassin's Creed Unity animation problems: Arno goes through the ground, gets stuck in hay carts, etc.
The developers stated that they are aware of the problem and will solve it in the next patch. stock up on patience.

Assassin's Creed Unity slows down, low fps, bugs with faces / monsters
On AMD graphics cards, expect a patch that will fix the situation and make the game more stable.
Update your video card drivers, put the latest update on the game, and also lower the settings in the game: turn off anti-aliasing, turn off vertical sync in the first place.
Disable SLI if it works.
For Nvidia graphics cards: run PhysX with CPU rendering, not GPU rendering.
Run the game in a borderless window at native screen resolution.

Assassin's Creed Unity is not saved / saves are corrupted
Not saved: Put a crack from 3DM or Ali if you have a pirate.
Damaged saves: if licensed, then start the game again by turning off cloud sync in the Uplay settings.

ACU.exe is corrupt error / incorrect ACU.exe file
1. Remove the ACU.exe file from the game folder
2.Run the cache check in steam.

Assassin's Creed: Unity will run on 4 GB of RAM and 1 GB of video card
The game does not eat up the amount of resources that it requests and the requirements are artificially high in the game code, or the developers decided not to waste time optimizing the game. In general, the game will start with 1 GB of video and 4 GB of RAM, but you can't do without friezes. Try GamePrelauncher or GameBooster

For now, this is the schedule. If something did not work out and the problem was not solved - write, we will understand, but write in detail: OS, video card, bit depth. Good luck!

P.S: there are a lot of such problems that Ubisoft knows about. According to their statements, they are working on their solution. You can follow the progress, as an option, here.
