At first, Dr. Warren Vidic tried to wrest information from Desmond's mind, but failed. Desmond claimed to be a simple bartender, but Vidic said he knew about his past, forcing him to accept that he was an assassin. Lucy and Vidic told Desmond that they were trying to access a certain memory location, but his subconscious was suppressing their attempts. Vidic warned Desmond that if he refused to help them, they would put him in a coma, continue their work, and, upon completion of the work, leave him for dead. Without thinking twice, Desmond agrees to help them.

With the help of the computer, Desmond learns much about the Abstergo, as well as about his predecessor, Subject 16, who suffered from a "leak-through effect" due to his long stay in the Animus. Ultimately, with Lucy's help, the Assassins learned of Desmond's kidnapping and attempted to rescue him.

The rescue attempt failed. Vidic was glad about this and boasted that they were the last inhabitants of the village from which Desmond had escaped. After Vidic left the room, Lucy reassured Desmond by saying that his parents "probably survived" and hinted at her being an assassin as well.

Eventually, Desmond achieved Vidic's goal of learning the location of the Pieces of Eden. The Abstergo leadership ordered the assassin to be killed, but Lucy saved him, saying that his memories might still be needed. Afterwards, Desmond discovers that he has the "Eagle Vision" ability, obtained from his ancestor Altair via a "bleed effect", and sees that Lucy is indeed an assassin. In addition, he notices cryptic gory messages left by Subject 16 all over the lab.

A few minutes after Desmond saw the picture, Lucy comes running in blood, and demands that Desmond climb into the Animus before Abstergo finds them. Desmond, not understanding what is going on, agrees and synchronizes in the Animus with the genetic match between him and Subject 16 that remains recorded in the Animus' memory. Inside, he experienced the birth of his other ancestor, Ezio Auditore. Suddenly he was "thrown" out of the car and they both began to make an escape.

The guards spotted them almost immediately, but Lucy quickly reacted and closed the door so the guards couldn't get to them. Unfortunately, they ran into two more guards along the way, who were quickly stunned by Lucy, much to Desmond's surprise and allowing them to pass on undetected. The two of them soon reached the elevator, which led them to a huge room with a bunch of office blocks and many Animuses.

Passing through narrow corridors and bypassing the guards, they reached the end of the room. Lucy tried to open code door but she didn't succeed. Then Desmond, using the Eagle Vision skill, opens the code door on the third attempt, seeing the fingerprints on the key numbers. There were more guards waiting for them in the underground parking lot, but they dealt with them and successfully left the building in Lucy's car.

Arriving at one of the shelters, Desmond meets two other assassins - Rebecca Crane and Sean Hastings, with whom Lucy had previously worked. Lucy told Desmond that she wanted him to learn the skills of an assassin, which could be achieved in a matter of days through a "trickle down effect". This required reliving the memories of an ancestor with whom Desmond had already synchronized earlier - with Ezio Auditore. Desmond agreed almost immediately, which pleasantly surprised Lucy. He was quickly connected to Animus 2.0 and began to relive Ezio's memories.

After spending a long time in the Animus, he goes to training. Desmond has learned all the skills of Ezio, but he is haunted by hallucinations in the form of pictures from the past. A few days later, Desmond is found by the Abstergo. It is noteworthy that Abstergo, with their resources, did not use firearms against Desmond, so they still need him alive.

The team arrived in present-day Monteriggioni and set up camp there, but Desmond was again haunted by hallucinations there. Now Desmond uses the Animus to find out where Ezio hid the Apple of Eden. Upon learning that the artifact was in Rome under the Colosseum, the team headed there. As soon as Desmond picks up the Apple of Eden, everyone around froze, and the Apple began to control Desmond. Meanwhile, Desmond wounded Lucy Stillman in the heart with his hidden blade, after which they both fell to the ground.

Desmond is picked up by two unidentified individuals who submerge him back into the Animus. After passing the add-on "The Da Vinci Disappearance", a dialogue will take place between these two people (in which it turns out that one of them is named William) and from which it became clear that Desmond fell into a coma.

While in a coma, he is still in the Animus and falls from the "White Room" (downloads occurred in the entire series of games) to the "Black Room" (Animus safe mode for Desmond).

In the black room, Desmond meets Subject 16. According to the 16th, his body has long been eaten by worms, and his mind is forever imprisoned in the Animus. To get out of the coma and avoid the fate of 16, Desmond needs to gain "synchronexus", that is, to gain a stronger connection with the ancestors. To do this, he needs to see the sequel and finish the stories of Ezio and Altair.

In 1511, Ezio went to Constantinople for the keys to the library of Masyaf. Altair's memories are recorded on each key, which just played into Desmond's hands.

After finding Ezio 5 the seal, the black room collapses as the Animus mistook Desmond for malware that needs to be removed. 16 saves Desmond from deletion, but he had to sacrifice himself to do so.

Desmond sees Ezio's memory in the already open library of Altair, where his ancestor speaks to him using the 2nd apple of Eden, and also gives him the message of the gods, which he found back in 1499.

Desmond starts a conversation with Jupiter. He tells him about the first civilization, about its death. Jupiter asks Desmond to go to their temple for further instructions.

Desmond wakes up from a coma. He is greeted by Rebecca, Sean and his father William. Desmond tells the team and his father that he knows what to do. They arrive at the site where the Great Temple of the First Civilization used to be. At the end of Assassin's creed 3, he sacrificed himself to save the world from the end of the world.

William "Bill" Miles

William Miles- Leader of the Assassins in the present. Also is a tie in the comic The Fall. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, sent a message to Lucy, with information about the assassins in the world who perform tasks. Sent two messages to Desmond after recovering his memory and completing The Disappearance of Leonardo. These messages only come when the player has not completed the storyline. Also at the end of the storyline, he connected Desmond to Animus 2.03 in order to save him from losing his mind. He is the father of Desmond.

Sean Hastings

Sean Hastings- Agent of the Assassins. Is their connection. The first meeting takes place in AC II. Historian, smart, sarcastic. Throughout the game it gives information about the people and places of interest in Italy. Prior to the events of the game, he was an employee of Abstergo. Having learned about their plans, he decided to spoil the company's reputation. He was found by the Assassins and recruited into their ranks. Together with the team, he leaves the shelter and goes with them to Italy. After discovering a piece of Eden, he goes with Lucy, Desmond and Rebeca to Rome. He is a witness to the murder of Lucy. At ACR, she meets Desmond as he wakes up from his coma. Possibly in love with Rebecca. His ancestors were Vikings.

Rebecca Crane

Rebecca Crane- Agent of the Assassins. Created Animus 2.0. Computer genius, former athlete, vegetarian. The first meeting takes place in AC II. At the end of the game, he leaves the shelter with the team and goes with them to Italy. After discovering a piece of Eden, he goes with Lucy, Desmond and Sean to Rome. He is a witness to the murder of Lucy. In AC: R is watching Desmond. Meets him when he comes out of a coma. Mentions that her ancestor was a Prussian mercenary.

Item 16 (Clay Kaczmarek)

Subject 16 (real name Clay Kaczmarek) was a man who was kidnapped by the Abstergo Enterprise and forced into the Animus before Desmond. Ezio Clay was also related to Desmond himself through his ancestor. He also said that his ancestor was a warrior who participated in the battle of Gittesberg, a senator of the Roman forum and Queen Isabella.

All that is known for certain is that Object 16 was captured by enemies of the Assassins, the Templars hiding in Abstergo Industries in 2012 to test the Memory Reminder genetic program. The head of the Abstergo lab has always been Warren Vidic, 16 was connected to the Animus for a life-threatening time. This caused 16 to suffer from a serious illness known as the "Leaking Effect".

Due to the "Blowout Effect", 16 saw ancestral memories even without the help of the Animus, but 16's inability to control these visions drove him insane, eventually culminating in his suicide.

Prior to his death, Subject 16 was forced to study the memories of an ancestor named Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who fought against the Templars from Italy. 16 never experienced the memories of his ancestor visiting Italy. Having merged with Ezio, he drew mysterious messages on the floor and walls of the Abstergo with his blood, 16 committed suicide in order to prevent the Templars from reaching their goal. In Revelations, he helps Desmond wake up from his coma and finally dies helping Desmond save himself from being removed by the Animus as malware.

Although he found the student to be rather fragile and too strong a perfectionist, he also considered him wise beyond his years and thanks to him. By 1498, Perotto was working as a courier for Alexander IV and thereby spying on his correspondence with Lucrezia and eavesdropping on conversations between Rodrigo and Cesare Borgia, captain-general of the Papal army. He was able to prevent many plots against the Assassins. During his service, he also followed Lucretia, who at that time lived in the monastery of San Sisto. Seeing her tears caused by the letters that her brother and father wrote to her, and also hearing that Rodrigo talks about Lucrezia's wedding, as if she were a simple thing, he felt pity for her, and eventually fell in love. In order to win the heart of Lucrezia, Perotto began to give her expensive gifts, with which Giulia, Lucrezia's maid, helped her. Over time, they began to walk together in the garden of the monastery and Perotto told her invented stories about the adventures of a courier. Despite growing affection for each other, they were forced to keep their distance so that no one would find out about their relationship. However, in the end, the lovers became so close that after one of the nights spent together, Lucrezia became pregnant. When the boy was born, the doctor, Julia's brother, said that the child would live only a few days. However, it was impossible to keep the child a secret, and Cesare, having learned about this, threw Perotto into prison, but with the assistance of Giulia, he managed to escape from prison and steal his son. However, Rodrigo quickly learned of the Assassin's escape and sent his men to find him. They managed to overtake Perotto near Florence, but he was ready to attack and dealt with his pursuers with the help of a bow. After that, Perotto went to Agnadello, knowing that the only thing that could heal his son was one of the Pieces of Eden - the Shroud, which his brothers kept. However, when he arrived at the village, he was saddened by the fact that his own Assassin brothers, having drawn their swords, did not let him near the artifact and he had to kill or disable them. Having reached the house of his friend and keeper of the Shroud, Rinaldo Vitturi, there he found an artifact and healed his son, returned the Shroud to its place and left Rinaldo's house. The Brotherhood could not turn a blind eye to Perotto's violations and sent a group of hunters (among whom was a student of Perotto) to kill the intruder. Connor Kenway, born Radunhageydu(English) Connor Kenway, English Ratohnhake:ton) - main character Assassin's Creed III video game. An ancestor of Desmond Miles who devoted his life to fighting for freedom, equality and justice.

Biography

Connor Kenway (Radunhageydu) is an American assassin during the American Revolution. He was born on May 9, 1755 in the Mohawk tribe and was a typical descendant of an interracial marriage of that time: his father was the English Templar Haytham Kenway, his mother was Gadzidzio, a Native American.

When the hero was still small, he suffered greatly due to the attacks of white colonists in his village. Connor Kenway devoted his own life to the struggle for justice and equality - in this he was helped by the Brotherhood of Assassins and other colorful personalities (George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere and others), whom the hero met later. Connor learns about the assassins from a vision, and remembers their sign, by which he further navigates. He finds Achilles Davenport, who later becomes his mentor. In Assassin's creed II, Ezio Auditore avenged his family, and Connor Kenway saves his homeland, helps people, participates in the war against the British, dealing with the Templars along the way. Connor is a calm, quiet assassin, but he reacts warily to touch, considering every word. Also, Connor is very similar to a predator: he easily jumps from tree to tree, runs fast like a wolf. After the death of Achilles, he remained to live in his estate.

After the destruction of his village, he received a message from Juno and hid the key in the grave of Connor Davenport (son of Achilles) for Desmond to find it.

Checked Desmond, what he learned from the Assassins, together with Desmond, Sean and Rebbeka left for the Auditore villa in Monteriggioni. At the end of Brotherhood, the Apple (Piece) of Eden, having taken possession of Desmond's body, caused him to stab Lucy in the stomach. In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, it is reported that the wound turned out to be fatal and Lucy was buried in an old cemetery in the suburbs of Rome. According to Ubisoft, she was a Templar, and everything was set up, such as the escape from Abstergo. This is also evidenced by the events taking place in the Lost Archive DLC for Revelations. She may have been in love with Desmond.

After hallucinations, he is extremely aggressive. Together with the assassin Hannah goes in search of a mentor. He was kidnapped and brought to Dubai, where he met with the head of the order. Mentor for Daniel's services to the order gives him his hidden blade. During the fitting, Subject 4 activates a subconscious program that the Templars downloaded into him as a child. It turns out that everything that happened to Daniel was thought out by the Templars. As a result, Cross kills the Assassin's mentor by slitting his throat. Escapes and returns to Abstergo. Returning to Abstergo, he asks to be put in the Animus, as he believes that only there is his “true” family in the face of the family of Nikolai Orlov. Becomes the main agent of the Templars. Media Characters

The good, the bad and the boring.

Throughout the passage of the entire series of the game, we managed to get acquainted with a huge number of these hooded killers, from pirates to revolutionaries. Some of them have memorable features, while the rest are simple mannequins dressed in well-drawn and thought-out costumes.

Just in time for the release of the great Assassin's game Creed Origins, we have prepared a list of the main characters (excluding the characters in the DLC, otherwise, we would have to write memoirs). Starting with the bad ones and ending with the good ones.

The game: Assassin's Creed III

voiced Story by: Noah Watts

This guy could be one of the most interesting goodies in the game. He was the son of a Native American woman and a British man. He was born in the midst of the struggle between these two cultures. He had to take an active part in the American Revolution. But the writers forgot to endow him with individuality, personal qualities. Connor (a simplified pseudonym) is an incredibly boring and serious person who is offended, pouting and always complaining that he does not play into the hands of the popularity of the game.

The game: Assassin's Creed Unity

voiced Story by: Dan Jeannott

Another revolutionary, only French. Born into a wealthy Versailles family, Arno became an assassin after serving time in the Bastille, a notoriously strict Parisian prison. As in the previous story, Arno has an interesting life story. I like his difference from other characters in the series. He has a simpler attitude to all these codes and rules of the brotherhood. At the beginning of the game, he seems to be a confident and charismatic character, but after he puts on the hood, it all goes nowhere.

The game: Assassin's Creed

voiced: Philip Shahbaz

True assassin, initiator of history. But, unfortunately, one of the boring characters of this very story. Altair looks cool, but he doesn't shine with wit. The reviews talked about how boring he was, which led the developers from Ubisoft to add more different characters to the second part of the game. We'll talk about it later. Of course, Altair has a huge impact on the story of the entire game, but what prevents him from making at least one joke from time to time?

The game: Assassin's Creed Origins

voiced Story by: Alix Wilton Regan

Minor spoilers for Assassin's Creed Origins

Aya - second available game character, despite the fact that her husband Bayek appears on the screen more often. She is strong and brisk, with a naive belief that Cleopatra will be able to revive Egypt. But due to the fact that she did not appear on the screen so often, her identity remained undisclosed. I love how her devotion to Cleopatra separates her from her own husband.

The game: Assassin's Creed Rogue

voiced Story by: Steven Piovesan

Shay is an interesting specimen in the game's heroic pantheon, because he is not an assassin at all, but a Templar. However, even though he works for the bad guys (I personally prefer the Templars over the preachy Assassins), his past life as an assassin haunts him. He is cruel and merciless, but refuses to kill the weak, thus demonstrating mercy. There are many nuances and imperfections in his character. These are the characters we miss in the game.

The game: Assassin's Creed Syndicate

voiced Story by: Victoria Atkin

Evie is more professional and decent than her brother Jacob. She doesn't make the same mistakes as Connor and Altair. Her devotion to the brotherhood did not cause a change in personal orientation. Despite her formidable appearance, glimpses of humor and humanity are noticed in her character. She sincerely worries about her brother, scolding him from time to time for recklessness. Capable, intelligent and dedicated. She is one of best characters series.

The game: Assassin's Creed III: Liberation

voiced: Amber Goldfarb

Her childhood in New Orleans was spent in wealth and privilege. Avelina from a young age witnessed a hypocritical and unfair attitude towards slaves. It was these events that shaped her character and became the reason for joining the order. She is directly related to the spin-off game Assassin's Creed III, which makes her character more intense and interesting compared to the old and boring Connor. Guilt before friends who could not escape slavery hardened her character.

The game: Assassin's Creed Syndicate

voiced Story by: Paul Amos

Jacob is brash, rebellious, witty, and a bit of an asshole. That is why he is one of the best characters in the game. It's really fun with him. Brass knuckle fights on the cobbled streets of London amuse him the most. In addition, he is an ardent defender of the oppressed, which makes him follow his father and join the brotherhood, despite the fact that this was the last thing he thought about.

The game: Assassin's Creed Odyssey

voiced Story by: Mike Antonakos

Odyssey is different in that it gives you the option to play as both a male and female character. The dialogue is the same, but each performer's delivery is very different. Alexios is well-acted but too blunt, and he sounds like a dozen other raucous video game characters. He has always found it difficult to fight in a series already filled with serious bearded men, and this only once again emphasizes how much better and more charismatic his female counterpart is.

The game: Assassin's Creed Origins

voiced: Abubakar Salim

One of the new and best characters in the game. The game takes place in the gloomy days of ancient Egypt, when Greek and Roman cultures began to penetrate its ancestral territory. But Bayek is an old school soldier. Although he honors the traditions and beliefs of his ancestors, at the same time he can be cheerful. Children in danger are his Achilles' heel. This is due to the fact that he once lost his son. This event makes his dark past even darker. But his innate kindness and natural instinct to help the weak speak louder than all his past deeds.

The game: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

voiced Story by: Matt Ryan

This charismatic Welsh pirate craves glory, gold and triumph, but not the fulfillment of the law of brotherhood. At least that's how it seemed at the beginning of the game. It is this attitude, along with a vulgar sense of humor, that makes his character memorable. His personality grows and develops during his journey through the Caribbean, forcing him to abandon his old way of life and join the Assassins. But he remained faithful in his love for the sea.

The game: Assassin's Creed III

voiced Story by: Adrian Hogue

This is probably one of the most controversial characters in the game. After a while, playing as Haytham in the 3rd part of the game, you begin to understand how complex this person is. More than his villainous nature was his devotion to the Templars. There is undoubtedly goodness in him, but this is not visible in the work that he has to do. It's a pleasure to play such a charming and merciless character. Later, Connor shows up and ruins everything.

The game: Assassin's Creed Odyssey

voiced: Melissanti Mayu

Despite having the same roles as Alexios, Kassandra sounds like she's getting a lot more enjoyment out of her quest. She's fiery and charismatic, tough and charming, and one of the best characters in the series to date. As a mercenary from Sparta, she finds herself connected to a sinister cult and trying to track down her biological parents. The voice of actress Melissanti Mayu lends her a bit of Ezio's mischievous charm.

The game: Assassin's Creed II

voiced Story by: Roger Craig Smith

It was predictable. Ezio has been a fan favorite since his first appearance. His character was revealed in several full-fledged parts of the game. Maybe this is unfair, but back in the 2nd part, he was a sip fresh air. Witty, charming and cheeky. Always ready to make a splash, from fighting on the streets of Florence at a young age to the final scenes in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Heroes of our time

Desmond Miles- a young man of about 25, a modest bartender. He was kidnapped by the mysterious corporation Abstergo Industries. The fact is that Desmond is a descendant of an ancient kind of assassins, skillful killers, which so interested the kidnappers. And with the help of the Animus machine, scientists intend to read the genetic memory of a man in order to get to the memories they need. Left with no other choice, Desmond agrees, dipping into the memory of his ancient ancestor Altair.

Warren Vidic- Doctor-scientist in charge of the Animus experiment. Helps his guinea get used to the unique machine and enlightens him in matters of genetics and history. He has a rather nasty character, does not really care about Desmond. Often he thinks meaningfully, because of which he can steal a pen and rejoice at secret information.

Lucy Stillman- Doctor's assistant, but unlike the other, Desmond is condescending and good-natured. She tells him stories about being brought to the corporation by force at the threat of her life. Lucy is the only person Desmond can have a normal conversation with in the lab, telling her about his childhood and personal experiences. By the end of the game, it turns out that the girl is actually one of the followers of the modern Assassins and at the end helps Desmond escape.

Heroes of the past

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahadmain character game, Desmond's ancestor, master assassin in the Brotherhood of Assassins.

Altair is laconic and serious. Arrogant and proud, but a sense of justice and nobility is not alien to him.

On one of the tasks to search for an ancient artifact, due to his pride and ardor, he fails an important matter, and two of his partners find themselves in a trap. Altair returns to his native Masyaf with nothing, and soon helps the Brotherhood defend itself against the attack of the Knights Templar. But the wrath of the lord Al Mualim inexorably falls on the head of the unfortunate student. Altair violated three cherished rules - he killed an innocent, showed pride and revealed himself, and, most importantly, endangered his native Brotherhood. Death was supposed for this, but Al Mualim decided to do otherwise. Altair lost respect and was demoted in rank. To regain his former honor and status, he must track down and eliminate several important people in the three great cities.

And so the game begins. Altair hunts down his victims and deals with them. But after each subsequent death, he begins to doubt the correctness of his actions. All nine people, before their death, tell the assassin part of the Templar plan. When the logical chain was put together, Altair understands who the real enemy and traitor is, and rushes to Masyaf to end him once and for all.

Al Mualim the head of the order of assassins, the teacher of Altair.

A calm and cunning old man, a prudent leader. Often conflicts with Altair due to his wayward and freedom-loving nature, but appreciates his fighting skills. Other assassins respect and bow before the master, implicitly fulfilling all his orders. Al-Mualim is a skilled orator and a cunning philosopher, skillfully hiding his insidious plans, hiding behind the desire for peace in their native land. With the help of the great relic, the "Piece of Eden" plans to subjugate all the lands, but Altair intervenes, intending to put an end to the traitor.

Malik A-Saif- One of the assassins of the Brotherhood. Was with Altair on the first mission in the tomb. Because of his vehemence, he lost his brother and left arm, for which he became very angry with the main character. In the future, Malik becomes the head of the Assassin Bureau in Jerusalem and gives orders to Altair. He does this with mockery and ridicule, still angry at him. But with each subsequent task, he is imbued with trust and respect for Altair. Toward the end of the game, Malik with other assassins comes to the aid of the hero in Masyaf, the presence of one hand does not prevent him from skillfully dealing with opponents.

Robert de Sable Master of the Knights Templar, the worst enemy of the Assassins. At the beginning of the game, Altair was unable to cope with him, which is why he failed the task. In the future, Robert unsuccessfully attacked the Brotherhood of Assassins, but was forced to retreat. It is the ninth victim that must be killed by Altair. Their final duel takes place in front of Richard the Lionheart. The English king decided not to fool around with the question of who is telling the truth - an assassin or a Templar, so he proposed a simple solution - a fight. Whoever wins is right.

Maria Thorp- A female templar. Deceived Altair by dressing up as Robert de Sable, whom he was hunting. However, having received the necessary information, the assassin does not kill the girl, saying that she is not his victim, and lets her go. And not in vain. This lady will play an important role in his life.

Victims of Altair- in total he needed to eliminate nine influential personalities: Tamir, Talal, Garnier de Naplauz, Abu al-Nuqvod, Majd-Addin, William de Montferrat, Jubair al-Hakim, Sibrand, Robert de Sable. And at the end Al-Mualim.

Attention! Get ready! "Animus" from "Igromania" - launch!

Gambling https://www.site/ https://www.site/

Learn history from a series of games Assassin's Creed- a kind of occupation. Reality and fiction here successfully intertwined into an unforgettable pattern. The genetic memory of a hero from the present reconstructs, one might say, the fate of an assassin from the past: Altair ibn La-Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, three generations of the Kenway family, and so on. The player meets with a whole portrait gallery of interesting personalities. Some of them actually existed, and some were invented by developers from Ubisoft. It's time for us to enter this gallery. Get ready, the "Animus" of "Igromania" begins its work!

From each part we will choose two historical figures - a hero and a villain.

For honor and courage in the name of the Holy Sepulcher!

Richard I Plantagenet, legendary King of England and participant in the Third Crusade. He went down in history as a valiant warrior. But one can doubt his qualities as a ruler: the third crusade became shameful for England. Richard was accused of betrayal and complicity with Muslims. Supporters of Saladin considered Richard extremely cruel.

In world culture, King Richard left a huge mark. Dozens of actors played the king, most often connecting his person with the personality of a noble robber from Sherwood Forest, but, alas or fortunately, he was not in the game.

Naturally, our main character could not help but pass by Richard the Lionheart. Altair goes to him with the news that Robert de Sable is preparing a plot to overthrow the king. He does not believe the assassin and offers the so-called trial by combat. Before his death, Robert confesses the existence of a conspiracy, but not against the king, but within the brotherhood! And here the world of Altair collapses thoroughly. Al-Mualim's teacher, the one who raised him and replaced his father, is a Templar himself. Such a disgrace from the reputation of the Brotherhood can only be washed away with blood. By the blood of Al Mualim.

But Robert de Sable, in-game and real, are two completely different personalities: a greedy, cunning and vile Templar virtual world and glorious, valiant leader of the order in life. After the death of the previous Grand Master, Gerard de Ridefort, the post was vacant for a year and a half. Courage and courage replaced Robert with a career: the knights of the order themselves nominated him for this position. Robert immediately understood which way the Templars must go in order for the order to cover itself with unfading glory. He allowed many secular knights to wear a red cross on their chest without taking an oath.

De Sable himself, most likely, received her under the walls of Acre. So, if he were alive, he would definitely file a lawsuit in some court for the protection of human rights and would lose. Indeed, at the beginning of each game, the developers constantly warn that the game is the result of the joint work of a multinational team, and a variety of superstitions, myths, legends, religions and beliefs are intertwined in it. And all fiction does not offend and has no such purpose.

Three stories of one hero

In principle, if you follow the logic, then in the trilogy about Ezio Auditor you have to choose from a huge variety of heroes and villains, only two. But the editor untied my hands (nothing like that! - approx. angry editor), therefore, as villains, I choose the most unholy of all the holy families - the Borgia!

Two generations of this family could well serve as objects for the study of the customs of important persons of the Renaissance. Rodrigo Borgia, better known as the "pharmacist of Satan" and Pope Alexander VI, who became one of the most depraved politicians in the history of the church. Threats, blackmail, bribery, in case of disobedience - death by poison. In Italy, blood flowed like a river, mixing with poison and wine. The image of Rodrigo was embodied both in the game and in the film that accompanied the advertising campaign "Origin".

ON A NOTE: the actors from the "Origin" were also involved in the incarnation of the heroes of the game.

Another film image of Alexander VI we see in the series "Borgia". Jeremy Irons gave the Pope a touch of spirituality inherent only to him, while John Doman (the same Carmine Falcone from "Gotham") added cunning and cunning to the already controversial image of His Holiness.

Not far behind the father and his children, Cesare and Lucrezia. All the virtues of Cesare from childhood were faced with lies and betrayal. I have no doubt that in another family a valiant warrior and a worthy representative of the Italian military elite could grow out of him. But, alas, the pope (in every sense of the word) gave him a cardinal's hat, and Cesare plunged his immortal soul deeper and deeper into the abyss of sin. In the portraits, the son of Rodrigo is depicted as an attractive man, and he used this.

Lucretia, this "Devil's mistress", was just as charming by the standards of her time as her brother. Greedy, selfish, domineering, knowing the properties of many poisons, she could turn anyone's head. She was truly loved and hated. They feared and bowed. Cursed and admired. Rodrigo and Lucrezia, father and daughter, who could have imagined that their child was simultaneously recognized as the offspring of both the Holy Spirit and the Devil? Or maybe Cesare tried? Incest was characteristic of this family of holy bastards.

It is not surprising that they were made antagonists in the adventures of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. But who helped the Italian assassin in the fight against the church itself?

“And now I must cut off your finger; I'm sorry, that's what it says on the scroll."

Speaking about the second part of the Assassin's Creed series, one cannot help but recall the main assistant of the protagonist. Leonardo da Vinci, a brilliant inventor, a restless experimenter, a genius and just best friend Ezio... In the game, we see a young and lively youth who eagerly plunges into the potentially deadly mystery of the order of assassins, not being afraid to lose his head in pursuit of the truth. The new kind hidden blade, a gun, a parachute, a flying machine (by the way, it never actually flew) ... for all this we thank Leonardo. Yes, the pernicious influence of the free mores of the Renaissance did not escape him, as one of the scenes in the game indicates, but we can only guess about this.

Thank you Leonardo for everything and more!

Caterina Sforza, the lioness of Romagna and the tigress from Forli... I do not rule out that Andrzej Sapkowski copied Calanthe, the Lioness from Cintra, from her. And there is something to draw from: after the death of her second husband, Katerina gathered people loyal to her and slaughtered the killers to the last. She also had a peculiar sense of humor. During the siege of the fortress after the death of Katerina's first husband, the conspirators planned to kill her children. The lady climbed the wall, lifted her skirts and showed that "her mold" could do more.

In the game, Katerina is shown as a woman of free morals. Being married (or maybe not), she seduced Ezio with ease and pleasure. The erotic scene in the “only bathroom in Monteriggioni” will haunt the minds of puberty gamers for a long time, and, to be honest, the post-puberty period. Although if you look at the portraits of Katerina, especially depraved thoughts will not arise. But these are the standards of beauty of that time. Much has changed over the centuries.

For the third representative of the forces of good, all means are good. This is Niccolo Machiavelli, the author of the work "The Emperor", a genius of speech and politics. Biographer Roberto Ridolfi describes Machiavelli as follows: “He was a slender man, of medium height, of a slim build. The hair was black, white skin, small head, thin face, high forehead. Very bright eyes and thin pursed lips that always seemed to smile a little ambiguously..

Honest, intelligent, ready for self-education, Machiavelli entered the political life of Florence in a rather difficult period. He was the first in the history of Florence to understand the advantages of a professional army from the townspeople and made a republic out of Florence. In The Sovereign, the key issue is the personality of the ruler. For Machiavelli, there is one answer - a strong, charismatic personality, ready to do anything to maintain strength and position. But at the same time, the sovereign must hear and respect the voice of the majority.

Game Machiavelli largely repeats his prototype. His goal is a strong power in Florence. True, in the game he sees the Medici as strong rulers, and not the Borgia, as it was in reality. Even Niccolò's alleged betrayal was part of his political game to weaken the Borgia. Putting himself at risk, he believed in the mind of Ezio. As a result, the enemy was defeated, and justice and peace prevailed.

In the blade we believe

From the third part of Assassin's Creed, the plot completely and completely erases the line of "good" and "bad", the Templars and Assassins no longer appear before us as black and white pieces in world chess. By the way, the comparison with chess is more than appropriate here. Now we are completely immersed in the plot, its fast and exciting development. Yes, this is fast chess, where the pieces are able to sprinkle blood on the board.

Most of the heroes of the triquel are one hundred percent real. And it's very difficult for me to choose a hero and a villain from them, to be honest. But there is still a candidate - and this is George Washington!

The large group of "Founding Fathers" is divided into two key subgroups: the delegates who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and the framers of the US Constitution in 1787 (including the delegates who signed the Articles of Confederation). Until the end of the 19th century, they were referred to as the "Founders of the USA" or as the "Fathers of the USA".

Some historians use the term "Founding Fathers" to refer to a larger group of individuals, including not only the signatories of the founding documents, but also those who participated in the formation of the United States of America as politicians, lawyers, statesmen, soldiers, diplomats, or simply ordinary citizens. .

Historian Richard Morris identified seven key "Founding Fathers" in 1973: John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and George Washington. Three of them, Hamilton, Madison, and Jay, are the authors of the Federalist Papers: eighty-five articles in support of the ratification of the US Constitution.

After this historical background we abruptly return to ... history. George Washington became the first president of the United States in 1789 (and his portrait adorns the one dollar bill). Prior to that, he spent many years in the battles for independence, where he showed himself to be a brave and intelligent commander. But, as already noted, not all white is so white.

As an active fighter for the rights of slaves, Washington kept three hundred black slaves in his possession, and severely punished those who escaped. Sociological studies show that Washington is the "blackest" surname in the United States.

Radunhageydu meets two George Washingtons at once - good and evil. The mutual assistance of the Indian and the American leads Connor to achieve the goal, the murder of his father and Charles Lee, and George eventually makes the president.

The other George opens up to the assassin in the expansion "The Tyranny of King Washington". The main historical turning point already follows from the name. The "Apple of Eden" in the king's scepter corrupted Washington, making his power absolute and despotic. The once bright future is washed by the blood of dissenters. And again, Connor is forced to save the world from the mystical forces contained in the Apple. Ultimately, Washington itself abandons the idea of a monarchy in the United States.

Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of whiskey!

We will gallop through the rest of the series, starting with the most atypical, the wettest, the most adventurous and therefore successful - a game about pirates, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

"Black Flag", the golden era of piracy! Of course, we will first of all remember Edward Teach, the same one, nicknamed Blackbeard! Good friend Edward, we will honor your glorious memory with a few lines in our article.

Relying only on his intimidating image, Edward easily captured ships. It is known that he did not torture or kill prisoners, but only if they obediently surrendered to the mercy of his team.

Teach's death in life and in the game is different. Five bullet and twenty stab wounds were found on the body of the real Tich. The head of the legendary pirate was hung on a bowsprit as a warning to other filibusters. A friend of Edward Kenway died while boarding a battleship. His hat is in London, in Edward's apartment (we are talking about Assassin's Creed Syndicate).

In opposition to Teach, Edward meets Laureano Torres y Ayala, the governor of Cuba. In addition, Laureano is also the Grand Master of the Knights Templar! Governor of Cuba, the most pirated area caribbean, and Templar!

Sentenced to death in the square!

The latest history of the world and game series

The French Revolution introduced us to precise, aesthetically grounded and beautiful murders. Before Assassin's Creed: Unity I personally considered the Italian part to be the most exquisite. Yes, at first the game had a lot of bugs and shortcomings, but everything turned out to be fixable.

Arno Dorian is immersed in the interests of the revolution, and this is not surprising, because his father was killed by a Templar! Revenge pushes Arno into a whirlpool of intrigue, intricacies of relationships and mysteries. And here we meet with the main characters and villains of the Great French Revolution - Napoleon Bonaparte and Robespierre.

A Corsican carrying a marshal's baton in his backpack. Shorty, who managed to kindle a fire for the whole of Europe. Great Emperor of France. That's all he is, Napoleon Bonaparte. In "Unity" Monsieur Bonaparte is as ambiguous as in history. Wanting to help Arno Dorian at the beginning, after 1794 he searches for the Piece of Eden for his own needs. The fallen king was arrested with the help of our protagonist.

Another fate - Maximilian Robespierre. His story is somewhat similar to the story of Robert de Sable. Incorruptible, ready to go to the end in the name of the revolution, Robespierre suffered during the uprising of the Paris Commune and was secretly executed on Thermidor 10 (July 28, 1794). Robespierre from Unity- a Templar who turns the chaos of the revolution to his advantage. A cruel practical philosopher who did not stain his hands with blood, but pulled on bloody gloves.

Finally, in Assassin's Creed Syndicate there were also Dickens, Conan Doyle, Bell, Karl Marx - the gallery of historical figures in the series can be continued for a long time. "Rooks" fighting with "gallows" - what is not the plot for "Oliver Twist" or "Notes on Sherlock Holmes"?

Inquisition on the big screen

And very soon. Its action takes place during the Inquisition, the participation of Torquemada has already been confirmed. Who else might appear in this chapter of the order's history? Sixtus IV, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella - these three pillars of the holy Spanish Inquisition?

Then we'll find out! Perhaps the whole thing - all of a sudden! - in energy drink Tornado Energy!

But this is far from the end. Surely Ubisoft is already developing new parts Assassin's Creed, in which the order again affects historical events. And how can one not recall the words of Machiavelli, who is ready to sacrifice one life for the sake of saving many? If you believe the archives of "Abstergo", the Templars and the Assassins are still at enmity, in one way or another influencing the course of world history. Who knows, perhaps on June 28, 1914, a killer of the order acted in Sarajevo? And November 22, 1963? Who knows what secrets are hidden from us behind the seven seals of the great opposing orders. Who knows where the Animus will take us next...

Desmond Miles

Descendant of Altair, captured by the modern Templars in 2012. As it turned out, he was captured by the powerful corporation "Abstergo." Under the supervision of two employees of the company, Desmond must delve into the memories of his ancient ancestor in order to reveal the location of the Piece of Eden.
Appearance Desmond is indistinguishable from Altair, the same eyes, nose, even a scar on his lip, accidentally obtained under unknown circumstances. Miles, without knowing it, is an assassin. Before he was captured, he worked as a bartender.

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad

An elite warrior of the Assassin Clan who violated the Creed due to his narcissism and arrogance. Performing a responsible task in the temple of Solomon, Altair killed an innocent old man, and later, hoping but for his strength, betrayed himself, at the cost of the death of a young assassin and the deprivation of his friend's hand. But worst of all, the Brotherhood was attacked by the Templars. After that, Altair was stripped of his high rank and started all over again.
Altair is attractive in appearance. A scar on his lip, beautiful eyes complete the image of the mysterious Killer. The cold-blooded nature and restraint of emotions make his victims tremble with fear at the hearing of a man in a white hood. Altair masterfully uses the crowd of people for his own purposes, and it is almost impossible to find him on a crowded street.
Altair is smart, able to learn from his own mistakes. After he became an apprentice again, he began to listen to the words of the victims, and he soon found out that Al Mualim had betrayed the Clan because of the Apple of Paradise, a powerful artifact that could destroy all life. Then Altair returned to Masyaf and overthrew the mad old man by battle.

Malik al-Sauf

Altair's best friend, who envied him for everything, so he constantly criticized him. Due to the mistake of a "friend", he lost his brother and left arm, after which he hated Altair even more. The chance to become an assassin was gone, and he was transferred to the Bureau of Assassins in Jerusalem. When Altair came to the Bureau, Malik didn't miss a chance to make fun of them. After another completed task, Assassin apologized to Malik. It turned out that the Head of the Bureau had been tormented by conscience for a long time, but he did not have the courage to apologize first. After Altair's repentance, he forgave him and asked for forgiveness himself. Trust and understanding returned to them.

Lucy Stillman

A young employee of Abstergo who is required to keep an eye on Desmond, as well as watch over the Animus, a machine that takes you into the memories of your ancestors, as it works.
Before Abstergo, Lucy was working on her own project, but professors and scientists let her know that she had no prospects and refused to sponsor. When Lucy was offered a job at Abstergo, she accepted without hesitation. Later, the girl realized that the reason for her failures lay in the company where she works. Abstergo deliberately set up the situation so that Lucy was in their hands.

Warren Vidic

An employee of the Abstergo Corporation whose job it is to make sure that Desmond completes the memories of his ancestors by the deadline. Out of habit, Desmond got out of sync, and now he needs to go through everything all over again, and Vidik must watch him. Vidik sometimes loses his memory - he often loses the password from his computer. The man is not young, he is already turning gray, but nevertheless, he does his job well.
