“Guessing cards” is a very simple trick with which you can name. These two cards will be chosen from the deck.

You will need a deck of cards with Latin markings. To show this trick, divide the deck into two types of cards: one should consist of cards with numbers or letters with a flat or sharp top (Ace (A), King (K), Jack (J), 3, 4, 5, 7, and the second - from cards with numbers or letters with a round top (queen (Q), 2, 6, 8, 9, 10. With practice, you will be able to sort the cards, right in front of the audience.
Call two volunteers and, dividing the deck into two parts of different types, give each one of the parts. Ask each of the two trick participants to draw one from the other's deck. Now each assistant must look at the card he has chosen, show it to the audience and remember it. You can turn away or close your eyes at this time. Next, each participant must put the selected card in his half of the deck and mix the cards thoroughly.

Ask your assistants to place the cards from their halves of the deck face up on the table. You can easily guess the cards chosen by the assistants, because they will be of a different type.

The next trick is based on arithmetic. Remember 27 - you will need it. After this, ask the spectator to take the cards and shuffle them, a card and place it on top of the deck. Then ask to remove any number of cards and count them, say 15 cards. Next, let him count the number of red cards among them, for example, 6. Next, let him take the second part of the deck and, turning it upside down, count and remember the sixth black card. Then the spectator must place this part of the deck on the cards that he removed at the beginning and must give all the cards to you. The deck is turned face down, and you lay out one card at a time from the bottom, mentally counting the black cards, 27-15 = 12 - the twelfth will be the card that the spectator chose.

Another simple but very effective trick.

Shuffle the deck and memorize the bottom or top card, such as the Ace of Diamonds. Ask any spectator to give you the Ace of Diamonds from the deck. The spectator pulls out any card from the deck and, without looking at it, gives it to you. For example, the queen of hearts. Ask the same spectator to draw the queen of hearts from the deck, the spectator will draw another card and give it to you again. For example, he pulled out 6 clubs. Then you say: “And I’ll take the 6 clubs out of the deck myself,” and then quietly take from the deck the card that you remembered at the beginning of the trick. Now you have all 3 announced cards in your hands: Ace of Diamonds, Queen of Hearts and 6 of Clubs. Show these cards to the audience.

Many viewers don’t even realize how effective and original card tricks can be. Sometimes you hear from viewers “I don’t like card tricks,” after which, asking them to watch just one trick, the idea of ​​card tricks changes radically.

Our task is to teach tricks that would blow your mind, break stereotypes about cards and make you believe in miracles. The audience should squeal with delight and beg you to show something else!

Oddly enough, the Pareto principle also works in card magic: eighty percent of all card tricks are done with twenty percent of existing techniques. These techniques can be called basic, and they are the ones you need to master if you want to learn the best magic tricks in the world.

TRAINING PROGRAM

The card course is designed for three classes (with an interval of at least two weeks between classes).

THE FIRST LESSON is devoted to learning basic techniques for working with cards:

• various ways to control the card chosen by the viewer;
• basic sleights (techniques) used in tricks;
• fake shuffles and cut-ins;
• elements of decorative manipulation (trimmings, fans, card ribbons, throws, etc.);
• imposition of choice the required card(forcing);
• several tricks to practice basic techniques.

It will take from several months to a year to master basic techniques. Therefore, you should not delude yourself and expect quick success. According to statistics, some students lose interest in magic tricks after the card course, when faced with difficulties and the need for rehearsals. However, those who master this material open the door to the world of card magic.

SECOND LESSON is devoted to the study of legendary tricks based on basic techniques. These are tricks from David Blaine’s sensational videos, as well as other tricks, after which viewers often utter the phrases: “I’ll never play with him again,” “they probably won’t let you into the casino,” “this can’t be true, show me more.” once".

In any company, it will be enough to simply ask for a deck of cards or take out your own to immediately find yourself in the center of attention, if not become the hero of the party. And this is not surprising, because you will be able to change the color of cards, make the entire deck disappear in front of the spectators’ noses, change cards in a second without even touching them, manipulate with completely rolled up sleeves in a way that spectators have only seen in the movies. THIRD LESSON is devoted to the use of props when working with cards. Only after learning how to handle a regular deck well can you afford to use special ones. By combining classic card techniques and secret props, you can confidently reach new level mastery, without being afraid of questions: “Let me see your cards?”

In addition, the third lesson discusses additional techniques for working with cards (palming, false counting, color changes, control methods, cheating techniques, etc.), as well as issues of managing the attention of spectators. These secrets cannot be found on the Internet and are too well hidden in books.

IMPORTANT! It is strictly not recommended to use the acquired knowledge in gambling, even though some techniques will be tempting to do so. Cheating is a different direction, in which completely different emphasis is placed. If in tricks everything is aimed at external effect, then cheating techniques are focused on invisibility and very specific goals. Sharpies have a different set of skills and techniques (including psychological ones) than magicians.

Using magic techniques in a cheating game will inevitably lead to unpleasant consequences, for which we cannot be held responsible, but we consider it our duty to prevent and eliminate these situations. All magicians adhere to the rule: as a matter of principle, do not play gambling. This ethical position eliminates any misunderstandings associated with games. And a situation in which a magician wins at cards (playing fairly) will hardly be above suspicion, and at best will cause a smile.

The card tricks training program can be changed or supplemented, and the number of classes increased if necessary. One lesson lasts an hour, the cost is 10,000 rubles.

Children are the most vulnerable and trusting people, who perceive everything incomprehensible and mysterious to them as magic. And so, playing the role of a wizard, he declares to the guests that he is a telepath, and can guess the card lying face down without seeing it. But since he is only a beginning seer, he can still tell whether a figured card is or not (either black or red).

With this, he goes out the door, and the guests take out any card from the deck and, having memorized it, turn it over with its back side up. The magician comes in, puts on a serious face, focuses his gaze on the card, but with his peripheral vision he catches the assistant’s secret sign.

Then he solemnly and loudly announces the result. Everyone is shocked and asks to repeat it. There can be as many repetitions as you like, the main thing is not to expose it. More complex and serious card tricks that require manual dexterity and math workout, let's take a closer look.

"Count and Guess"

The whole mechanism consists of simple calculations. For example, the viewer wishes for a six. The magician asks him to subtract 1 from the value of the card (that is, in this case, from six), multiply the result by 2, subtract 1 from the answer and add the value of the intended card to the result. That is, in our case it should turn out like this: 6-1=5, 5*2=10, 10-1=9, 9+6=15. Announce the result out loud. Then the trickster mentally adds 3 to the resulting sum and divides the result by 3. That’s it, the card is exposed (15+3=18, 18/3=6), it’s a six!

"I know which one you chose"

This card trick for kids is based on math, logic and memory. But here you will also need to lay out the cards quickly and deftly. Count out any cards from the deck, exactly 21. Then ask the spectator to arrange these cards equally in three horizontal rows and make a wish for any of them, telling you only which row it is in. The rest is up to you. You collect each row again and fold it so that the row with the intended card is in the middle. Again, lay out all the cards in three rows, but now vertically. Again you ask which row it is in now, reassemble it so that the row with the intended card is between the other two, and again lay it out in horizontal rows. Collect again with a row in the middle and that’s it. You count down the eleventh card, it will always be the intended one.

Four Aces

Spectacular trick “Magic of the card name”

To perform it, you need to learn how to false shuffle and count the cards in your hands. That is, here the technique is more complex and requires training. But the result is beyond praise. Its essence is that the trickster selects six random cards from a deck and invites the viewer to remember any of them. The Secret of Focus

Well, the secret of the card trick is certainly not that complicated. It's all about a skillfully done break just before the start of the trick.

Namely, you take 3 “left” cards for a break and put Aces on them. After that, you take 7 cards (4 aces + 3 left) and show the aces by turning them over. When three were turned over, only one Ace remained, and under it were three left cards.

This is where you throw all these cards on top of the deck and it turns out that the top card is an Ace, then 3 left ones, and then again 3 aces. And having scattered them on the table, you thereby scatter one Ace and three left cards, and the spectator thinks that you are scattering all 4 Aces.
