Our main enemies are tank destroyers and ART SPGs everywhere, and STs at close range, most of them have cumulatives in their arsenal that your armor can do, but they can also be tanked with proper skill. Tanking on the mouse is not so difficult - you just need to hide the NLD, and if there is nowhere to hide, then just turn the "diamond" out, and after each shot, turn the tower away from the enemy looking at you. You can turn it towards the body when "rhombusing", but better in the other - with a sort of "scissors". In this position, the enemy will be even more confused and will hit the marker, which often does not guarantee penetration. So repeat ad infinitum. In general, it is worth noting that we still have weaknesses. Maus can also be ignited by a land mine in the forehead, because we have tanks right behind the VLD, and in reality the same thing could happen.

A typical fight looks like this: we load up, look at the map and team setups, look at the siding around the map and either drive to the TT position or try to hold some kind of flank. Remember that Maus is a tank of one direction, and if you choose it incorrectly at the beginning of the battle, then you will most likely not be able to return. You can, in principle, wait until the enemies themselves find you, but believe me, in this case there will be little good. And yes, do not commit rash acts, weigh the risks, because a mouse that has driven in the wrong place dies like any other tank, burying with it some kind of hope of victory.
