Passage of the last of us. Passage of "One of us" ("Left behind", "University", "Hotel"). New version of the trailer

Online part This game was called "Factions". To begin with, you must choose the Hunters or Cicadas Faction. By choosing one of the factions, you have to go through a journey with this faction or your clan will be destroyed, and you will lose, and you will have to start all over again. The multiplayer might seem confusing at first, but for the most part, you should just play it normally and only worry about completing the missions that come up.

To get this achievement, the most important thing you need to know is that at least 1 survivor must remain in your clan at all times, otherwise you will lose. Basically, the number of your clan is threatened by missions in which you need to protect your clan from extermination. At first, you will start with missions that can increase your clan's population without the risk of loss and missions with a 60% risk of losing population. You can ignore mission data. It's worth worrying about missions where the risk of losing population is 100%. You will face five such missions. These missions will take place during:

  • 1 day, 6 weeks
  • 2 day, 8 week
  • 3 d day, 10 weeks
  • 6 d day, 11 weeks
  • 4 d day, 12 weeks

They cannot be played, otherwise you will have to start the journey again. You will have to survive for 12 weeks (1 match = 1 in-game day, for a total of 84 matches).

To complete missions, you must complete all challenges within 3 days (3 matches). You should save the easiest challenges for days with a 100% risk of clan extermination (See below). Faction Missions). If you are on the verge of failing one of these missions and your clan is destroyed, then exit the XMB game and this day will not count. Thus, you can try to replay this day and complete the challenges.

Pass days :

I don't like recommending this method as it interferes with other players, but for now it's the only way quickly deal with multiplayer. By leaving the match via the pause menu, you can skip the match and you will be credited with a day of Journey. By doing this, your clan will become hungry/sick and eventually die, so you need to periodically play every few missed matches. Also, you should not forget to complete important missions that appear periodically (and in particular those that represent a 100% risk of exterminating your clan's population).

As for the game mode, it's up to your taste, but I would recommend Raid mode, as it seems to be more consistent. Matches are faster and easier to work on mission objectives etc. In Survival mode, the match may end before you know it and you encounter few enemies if your team is dealing with them instead of you.

Faction Missions:

  • Such missions take place once a week, and sometimes twice (One game week = 7 multiplayer matches). They differ only in the consequences for your clan. At times, the results are determined by how many new people join your clan. More often it's the other way around. The number of deaths from attacks or disease outbreaks is counted.
  • From time to time you will be given a choice of missions. There are a number of tasks, such as inflicting injuries, executions, inflicting injuries from various weapons. Each task has 3 levels (for example, 3 wounds, 6 wounds and 9 wounds) and you must reach the most high level over 3 matches.
  • You can take on the same quest multiple times, for example, choosing a quest to injure an enemy with your favorite weapon. True, each time the level of the task grows and the requirements become more difficult, so do not get carried away too much, as you can lose a lot of time on one mission.
  • Most simple tasks I advise you to save for later, when missions appear with a 100% risk of losing your clan.
Native city
Prologue

Sarah, Joel's daughter.

On the eve of his birthday, Joel receives a watch as a gift from his daughter. There were no signs of trouble that night. Waking up from the wake-up call of Tommy, Joel's brother, we examine the postcard on the chest of drawers. Let's look into the father's bedroom and learn from the news about an unknown virus that has swept the town. We go down to the first floor, go to the kitchen and look through the calls on the phone. Go left, go through open door. Excited, Joel hurriedly takes out a revolver and reports the strange behavior of the neighbors. One of them breaks into the house, Joel kills him, and we go out to the backyard. Together with Tommy we go in search of a safe way to leave the city. Having had an accident, we pick up Sarah and move down the road. Turn right at the crossroads. We continue to run, go around the truck and head to the alley on the left side. We get to the building, we go inside. Tommy will hold the door so they can escape. We meet a military man who saves us from the infected. However, he then receives orders to kill us. Tommy arrived too late, Sarah died from her wounds.

On the day the virus began to spread, everyone tried to get out of the city.

quarantine zone

Behind the wall

The world has changed. The military set up quarantine zones, keeping the survivors away from the infected. Waking up to a knock on the door, we let Tess into the house and talk about pressing problems. She managed to make a deal, and now we are provided with cards for a couple of months. Robert is trying to put spokes in the wheels, you need to deal with him. After going outside, we follow the girlfriend to the checkpoint. We almost managed to pass it, but there was an explosion and all the passages were blocked. We quickly run after Tess, go into the building and get a first aid kit. Having bandaged the wound, we move along the corridor. In addition to us, Robert is looking for Marlin from the Cicada group. We get to the secret gap in the wall and move the cabinet to the right side.

We jump down, follow Tess to our things. We pick them up from the table, approach the red boards, look up and seat our friend. We get out, communicate with Tess and move after her. The required ladder is located on the side of the white car. We lean it against the wall and climb up. We follow Tess, in the dark we use a flashlight. The first floor is filled with controversy. In this case, Joel will put on a gas mask, and visibility will deteriorate noticeably. In the room, crouching, we pass through the gap in the wall. We remove the log from the path and squeeze between the cabinet and the drawer. We find a person whose mask is damaged. We select the cartridges lying nearby and shoot at the unfortunate head. Crouching we pass under the boarded-up boards. Faced with the infected, we first listen to see their location. We sneak up on the enemy, waiting for him to turn away. We carry out capture and strangle. The remaining two can be bypassed on the left side, be sure to turn off the lantern. We climb the stairs and get out.

We follow Tess to the next building and go inside. We climb higher and go down from the other side. We grab the board, we approach the wall to pass it to our partner. We ourselves go back up through the gap in the wall on the opposite side. We continue to follow Tess. While the boy is checking if there are soldiers and Robert's people nearby, we will take the cartridges from the rack. We pass through the local market and go to the shipyard. Faced with enemies, we try to get close to them as close as possible. We save ammunition and, whenever possible, attack enemies in hand-to-hand combat. The gate is closed, so we plant Tess on the wall on the left side. Enemies again, slowly, follow Tess. After she deals with one of them, we make our way to the building and go inside. We sneak up on the one that is farther from us. We carry out capture and strangulation. We destroy the rest and select the key with which we unlock the door inside the building.

There is strict control in the quarantine zone: if you are infected, then you will be immediately shot.

Being behind cover, we wait for the end of the conversation. We destroy the enemy at the door, then another one in the next building. We go to the warehouse, sneak up on the enemy and carry out strangulation. We go up the stairs outside. After killing two, we search the warehouse. On the second floor, we select a knife from the table, with the help of which it is much more efficient to deal with enemies after they have been captured. We open the gate on the first floor and get out to the pier. We go to the right and destroy the enemies one by one. We are waiting for the third one to come closer and turn away from us. We continue to walk on the right side until we get to the office.

Robert will start shooting, and when he runs out of ammo, he will run away. We catch up and ask him about weapons. He reveals that he sold them to the Cicadas. Marlene appears and makes a deal with us. We'll get twice as many weapons if we agree to smuggle across the border. We follow a friend to her home. After reaching the bridge, turn left. We go up, then we enter the building on the left side and go around the enemy. As soon as we capture him, the ally will do the same. We move along the corridor, we pass into the last room and get out through the last window on the left. We destroy the enemy and another one on the right side. Only before that it is best to wait until the enemy on the bridge moves to the left side. We go down under the bridge and get to the dwelling.

Outskirts

Our job is to escort the girl to the Capitol. Tess will go with Marlene to the Cicada camp to check on the weapons. Going outside, turn left and go down to the fence. We follow along it, then we go to the right and we get into the alley. To climb up, move the garbage container to the stairs. We go upstairs and get to the safe house near the border. After a little rest, we leave the apartment through a breach in the wall. We start the generator by pressing the button when the slider drops to the bottom of the scale. We crawl forward, climb the stairs and get out. We move forward, we pass through the container and are immediately attacked. After scanning, it turns out that the girl Ellie is infected. According to her, she was bitten already three weeks ago, but for some reason the virus did not affect her.

We follow Tess to the patrol. We shift to the left and cling to the wall. We follow the enemy's lantern at the top position. Carefully go around the corner and continue to move on the left side. We jump into the water, climb up and slowly move through the shelters to the other side of the building. We open the gate and, having got out, we get to the building on the right side. We wait behind cover when the enemy turns away. We neutralize it and head to the window at the other end. We go outside, continue to go forward and move along the sewer pipe to the building. Climb up the stairs and immediately turn left. Bending down, we pass through the gap in the wall. We run forward, turn right at the fork. We get to the grate and open it.

While Joel and Tess often push boundaries, this time the stakes are too high.

Following Tess, we rise to the top point. In the distance we see the Capitol building. Turn right and go inside. We get out to the stairs, we rise to the floor above. We find a clicker stuck to the door. Their faces are mutilated beyond recognition, so they do not see, but they hear perfectly. Break through the door and turn right. Together we open the next door. We deal with the clicker quickly and often by pressing the button shown. We look around in the rooms in order to find useful items. Some doors are locked and require a knife to open. Almost always the spent knife pays for itself with a vengeance. We pass into the very last room on the left and seat Tess to the yellow ledge. The partner will distract the nutcracker, let's follow her. Then we independently distract the enemy by throwing the bottle to the right side. We climb up, jump to the stairs and remove the box from the path. We make our way along the platform outside, go around the corner and again we pass into the building.

We select a revolver, follow Tess and jump down. We select a piece of pipe, destroy the first enemy, sneaking up from behind. We return to the place where we jumped off. We pass forward and wait for the runner to go further down the corridor. We neutralize it and go to the other side. We watch for two more, and then we finish off the last one - the nutcracker. We jump up and move the box blocking the door. We go down and down. We select a Molotov cocktail, which we can make from the same items as first-aid kits. Bending down, we pass through the gap in the wall. We sneak up to the first clicker, deal with it and move to the right. We move to the other side. An enemy is standing at the grate, he must be killed. To do this without attracting attention, we will use a Molotov cocktail or a knife. We plant the partner to the ledge on the right side. Climb up the stairs and finally get out.

We get to the truck in the lane. Turn left and enter the building. We silently destroy the runners, grab the chest of drawers and carry it to the truck. We jump over to the other side, go forward and open the gate on the left side. At the last moment, we manage to run inside. On the workbench we can modify weapons. We open the door and go up to the second floor. In the middle of the room we come across a blockage. We raise the log so that Tess and Ellie can go further. We will take a different path. We turn right, get out into the corridor and wait for the runner. We pass into a large room on the right side, move to the other side and throw a Molotov cocktail into the corridor as soon as we notice the runner. A nutcracker will run to the sound and it will be engulfed in flames. We rise to the next floor, destroy the enemy beating at the door. We help Tess, then Ellie. We move away and fight off the runners, preferably using firearms. We jump through the window to the fire escape. We go upstairs, take any of the boards and use it as a crossing between buildings.

Ellie has never left the quarantine zone and so skyscrapers seem to be something amazing for her.

We go down and drag the garbage container to the gate. We get out to the road and get to the Capitol. All Cicadas were killed, we also find out that Tess is infected. She suggests that we go further and find Tommy. Tess herself will stay here and try to hold back the military. Before we got to the top, Tess had already been shot. We jump over to another part of the building and pick up a rifle near the corpse. There are enemies ahead, we turn into the room on the left side and neutralize the lone enemy. Actively listening, we move to the other side and go down to the first floor. Again we move on the left side. We try to move silently for as long as possible.

We go outside and cross the road. We go down and quickly hide from the machine-gun fire. Since Ellie is immune, she can breathe spores. We destroy two soldiers and pass through the cars. The tunnel is flooded, so we continue to swim. Diving, we can bypass the rubble. We swim to the very end, where we find a raft. We transfer it to Ellie and transport it to the opposite side. We climb up the descended stairs and get out.

Bill's Township

After discussing with Ellie the moments that are better not to remember, we move forward to an old acquaintance, Bill. We move through the thicket of the forest and soon we will get out to the tower. The main gate is closed, so we go left and get to the stone wall. We select the board and move it to a small building. We climb onto the roof and raise the board. Here, by the way, you can pick up a modified piece of pipe. We install the board between the buildings and move to the other side. We go down, shift to the left and get to the gate. They are closed on the other side, so we give Ellie a seat. We move down the road, at the end we turn into an alley on the left side. The Nutcracker will blow up on the trap. We get to the truck, put a ladder and climb up. After crossing the board, we pick it up and install it next to the stairs. Rising up, we pull up the board and put it between the buildings. We continue to move on the roof. Going down, we crawl under the stretch. Two more stretch marks at the aisle on the grid. We move away, crouch and shoot them. We go further, destroy the stretch in the lower part between the walls. After entering the building, we fall into a trap. While Ellie is engaged in our release, we shoot back from the infected. Don't worry about ammo, there will be an infinite supply. We reload more often and try not to let the enemies in. Bill will soon come to the rescue. We follow him, being distracted by enemies to a minimum. After some argument, Bill agrees to help us. To assemble the car, you will need parts that can be found in the city.

Any weapon can be modified, although for this you will have to find a workbench.

We collect a large number of useful items in this eatery. We get out, following Bill. When enemies appear, there will be nowhere to run, therefore, without departing from the allies, we fight off the infected. Having finished with them, we go upstairs and go down to the cellar, where the warehouse is located. We get a shotgun and an explosive bomb. It can be used as a mine, when an enemy approaches, an explosion will occur. If you throw a bomb directly at an enemy, it will explode instantly. Recently, the military appeared in the district. They were attacked by a horde of infected and the transport, having lost control, rammed the school wall. There we will find a working battery. We go upstairs and leave the church through the window. Against a large number of clickers in the garden, we use the Molotov cocktail. All of them will run to the noise and set themselves on fire.

We get out into the alley and pass through the territory of private houses. We listen and determine the location of the runners. We move forward, destroying enemies. We get to the far left of the house and try to open the door - it does not lend itself. Ellie will be able to cross to the other side through the dog door. We clean the gazebo and the house from clickers. It is enough to throw a Molotov cocktail at the aisle. We get out through the house to the other side, climb onto the van and move along the board to the neighboring territory. We thoroughly search the house. We help Bill open the gate in the garage. A truck is visible in the distance. We head towards it, simultaneously shooting the runners. We use bombs in narrow passages and do not allow ourselves to be surrounded. We get to the bus at the gate. We plant Ellie so that they lower the stairs. We move to the other side and follow Bill.

The first aid kit and the Molotov cocktail require the same ingredients.

The doors of the school are closed, so we turn the corner and get inside through the window. Not finding the battery in the truck, we start looking for a way out. We follow the corridor, cleaning it from enemies. We pass through the audience, together we break through the door in the corridor. Once in the gym, we are faced with a large opponent. First we destroy the runners and only then we concentrate all attention on the thug. We try to shoot at his bright splices on the body. We do not stand still, as the spores flying at us cause constant damage and reduce the visibility area. Having won, we collect ammunition and reload weapons, we still need it. We plant Bill and Ellie, but we ourselves do not have time to climb. We destroy the runners and climb up.

We get out and follow Bill. As soon as the allies release the ladder, we immediately cling to it. In the house we find the hanged Frank, Bill's partner. He was bitten by the infected and, apparently, he did not want to become one of them. Meanwhile, Ellie discovers a car with a working battery in the garage. It remains only to recharge it by pushing the car. After looking around the house, we approach the wheelbarrow from behind and take it out into the street. We are not fond of pushing, be sure to follow the enemies and shoot them in time. Breaking away from the infected, we say goodbye to Bill and continue our difficult journey. We arrive in the city; The freeway is full of cars, the only way is to turn right. We are facing an aggressive group of people.

Pittsburgh

We fight off the enemy by quickly and often pressing the button shown. Then we run up to Ellie and help her. There are many enemies and some of them will try to get close from the rear. We listen and control the location of the bandits. After killing everyone, we go outside and open the gate in the corner. We get out to the stairs, we rise upward. We pass along the corridor and open the side door. We jump down and move along the highway. Seeing the hunters, the easiest way to get around them is hiding behind the cars on the left side. We climb onto the bus and pass through the checkpoint. There are many enemies ahead, so if we want to act silently, then we turn right and penetrate the building. Climb up, go right and go down to the courtyard. We go into the lane, go up the fire escape and jump off the other side. If you break through with a fight, then we first clean the street, then the first floor of the building and, accordingly, the second.

Bill has mined almost every corner of the city.

We get to the flooded area and swim to the very end, where we find a raft. We deliver it to Ellie and transfer the girl to the bus. We pass through the van, turn left and get into the cafe. From here we jump up and go along the board to the hotel building. After jumping down, we go to the left. Opposite the bar is a structure. We pick up the ladder and bring it to the hall. We turn left and install the ladder on the wall, above which there are no railings. We climb up, then we rise to the second floor. We get out onto the roof through the window and move to another part of the building. Most enemies without firearms, but with improvised items. We try to be quiet. Along the corridor we get to the next staircase and go up to the third floor. We are located in the hall, from where a long corridor is perfectly visible. Ellie will warn you if enemies start to approach from the flank. After destroying all the enemies, we move along the corridor and get to the terrace. We penetrate into the room through the window on the left side, go out into the corridor and go up the stairs to the fourth floor.

We open the elevator door by quickly and often pressing the button shown. Climbing up the stairs, we climb through the narrow passage on the right side. We jump onto the elevator car, wait for Ellie and seat her. We fall down into the water. We get to the flooded stairs, dive under the water and swim to the lower floor. Having rested, we dive again and, having looked around, we swim through the door, next to which is the same emergency exit icon. We go further into the territory filled with disputes. Moving along the corridor, we go upstairs and arrive at the locked door. Firstly, there is no electricity and, secondly, a pass is required. We return to the corridor and pass along it to the end. We turn into the room on the right side, then right again and move to the opposite room. We take the pass from the table, return to the previous room and go down. Start the generator and hastily return to the locked door, which we unlock with a pass.

Seeing the beauty of the forests, you might think that there was no epidemic.

We go upstairs, we pass along the corridor and get out into the kitchen. We kill enemies, then we go into the hall. At the locked door lies a ladder, we install it against the wall to the right. Almost climbing up, we get a blow from above and break down. Quickly and often press the button shown several times. Ellie will arrive shortly and help us. Joel yelled at Ellie instead of thanking her. It's all because of the fact that the girl used a firearm. Climb up and get to the restaurant area. We rise to the stage and push the piano to the wall. We climb up and get out. There are many enemies outside and it will be difficult for one to deal with them. Joel is left with no choice but to trust Ellie with the rifle. From the top position, she will cover us.

Hunters are notified of our adventures. When they agree, move to the left and destroy the first enemy. We try to bring the enemies into the open so that Ellie can shoot them. After destroying every single one, the girl will come down to us. We give her a gun. From now on, Ellie will cover us always and everywhere. We pass to the end forward, where there is a gate behind the truck on the left side. Having made our way inside, we extract the cart from under the gate and transfer it to the opposite wall. We climb up, get to the window and watch how the marauders kill the unarmed. Finding nothing useful, they leave. We go upstairs and deal with the hunters. We get out through the office space.

Record collection. Perhaps among them there are rare specimens.

We head to the next building. We penetrate inside from the right side, hiding behind police car. We rise upward and we kill three opponents. We pass to another part of the building, go down and continue moving along the street. At the crossroads is another group of enemies, consisting of four hunters. We do not climb on the rampage, so two of them have firearms. We go to the right and seat the girl to the fire escape. We climb up, jump from the other side and head to the alley on the left side. Having crossed to the other side, we cross the road, hiding behind a police car. If desired, we can first clear the building from enemies. The gates are closed, so we go around them through the building on the right side. We go deeper into the alley, turn right and immediately enter the building. We go upstairs, go to the nearest room and climb the fire escape to the ledge. We move along it to the window, go inside and go into the next room. We get out of the window to the destroyed fire escape and continue to move along the ledge.

Here we have fallen into one of the most dangerous traps. The noise is slowly starting to run infected.

Having penetrated inside, we are attacked. The survivors were Henry and his younger brother Sam. They mistook us for hunters and therefore tried to kill us as soon as possible. We also find out that they are the only ones from the group who survived. Nearby is the lair of these guys, follow Henry. We go down to the toy store. Then we go outside and go through the open door on the right side. After watching the enemies, we deal with them. We climb onto the truck, go forward a little and again retreat behind the shelter, as enemies will appear. After destroying them, we jump even higher and arrive at the den of the allies. Henry and Sam are just like us looking for Cicadas. They are waiting for the moment when the checkpoint guarding the passage to the bridge will be weakened. Most of the guards will go to sleep. After a little rest, we follow Henry. Going down, we sneak up on two and silently neutralize them in sync with Henry. Ours is the one on the left. We go outside and cross to the other side, hiding behind the cars and not falling under the spotlight. We kill a lone enemy, we drown out the generator. We deal with everyone who comes down to us.

Together we open the gate and at the last moment manages to hide from enemy transport. We kill the enemy and plant all three on the truck. The ladder breaks, so we won't be able to climb up. Henry and Sam decide to leave us. Ellie does not leave us and jumps back down. We open the gate and get inside. We clean the building from enemies, after which we pass into the hall and remove the cart that blocked the main door. Going outside, we quickly run after Ellie, avoiding obstacles. Having reached a dead end, at the last moment we decide to jump into the water.

Apparently, these clickers finally got someone.

Suburb

On the shore we meet Henry and Sam. Joel grabbed Henry's gun and threatened to kill him for leaving us at a time of need. But this time we waited for help. Having studied the surroundings, we return to the allies. We climb up and help Henry lift the grate of the sewer pipe. When we reach the fork, take the right path. Having finished the inspection, we are reunited with friends again. We arrive at the area with water. We swim to the other end of the gate, dive and remove the pipe from the mechanism. Henry will open the gate, we swim on. We get out on land and climb the stairs on the left side. We drop down the raft at the fence. We deliver it to Ellie and transfer the girl to the other side to the generator. She will turn it on, and Henry and Sam will also be able to move in with Ellie. With the help of Henry, we climb up.

Opening the door will trigger a sound trap. From the table we select a two-shot shotgun "shorty". We continue to move forward, destroying the infected. Opening the door triggers another trap that separates us from the allies. Clickers appeared on the side of Henry and Ellie, so they had to run away. We turn around, go through the grid and turn left. We move with extreme caution. There are many enemies here and all of them will attack us sooner or later. You can place bombs or throw a couple of Molotov cocktails. Next, go forward to the end, then turn left and seat Sam on the ledge. We climb up the stairs, go straight ahead and jump down. We reunite with Henry and Ellie. We quickly run after them. Let's try to open the grate by pressing the button shown quickly and often. Sam will crawl through the small opening and unlock the door on the other side. Climb up the stairs and head towards the exit. We collect useful items from the table. The children will climb outside and try to open the door. We will contain the infected during this time. We mine the passages with bombs and Molotov cocktails. As soon as the door opens, we do not stay here for a minute.

Slag is the strongest enemy in the game. Even a knife won't save if he grabs us.

Follow Henry down the road. Along the way, we search the houses, which are sure to find a lot of useful things. Through the last house on the left side, we move to the next street. It is controlled by a sniper, so we move forward, hiding behind the cars on the right side. There will be no enemies here, but we will have to accurately calculate our progress. If we go from the left side, then sniper fire practically does not threaten us. But you have to destroy other hunters. We go around the house, get inside and deal with the sniper. Taking advantage sniper rifle, clearing the way for the allies. We kill everyone who tries to approach them. After a while, a transport will appear. We are waiting for him to drive closer, and we shoot at the one who is throwing Molotov cocktails. Soon the influx of zombies will begin, after shooting a little at them, we get out of the house.

Joel talks about his brother Tommy, who wanted to take two Harleys for his birthday and go to the ocean. Sam starts a conversation with Ellie about the epidemic, about his fears of becoming infected. The basis for this was the fact that Sam was bitten. The next morning, Ellie decides to check on him. Transformed into a runner, Sam attacks Ellie. At first, Henry tries to save his brother, but then he kills him and himself on his own.

Autumn
Tommy Dam

We continue the search for Tommy. When you get to the car, to the left of it in the grass you can find the El Diablo revolver with a telescopic sight. We go down the slope, turn right and move along the coast. Tommy and Joel have divergent views on the world. The first joined the Cicadas, hoping for better life, and the second decided to engage in smuggling. We get to the dam and rotate the valve to flip one of the shutters. We jump into the water, dive and swim into the sunken building. We free the raft on the ceiling and quickly swim to the surface. With the help of a raft, we transfer Ellie to the other side of the dam. We move to it, passing through the shutters. We climb up the cliff, then move along the wall until we arrive at the main gate.

As it turned out, the plant was occupied by survivors, among whom is our brother Tommy. We get acquainted with his wife Maria and we pass into the territory. Things are not going well here. Damaged turbines, without which it is impossible to resume the supply of electricity. After walking around with my brother, we tell him about Ellie's immunity and at the same time ask for help. Tommy is unwilling to risk his life, especially since he is now a married man. Suddenly, a siren goes off - bandits have entered the territory. Ellie and Maria fell into a trap, we go to save them. We move forward, destroying enemies. We often use shelters, as the bandits are well equipped. After some chicanery, Maria lets her husband go to the Cicadas.

Pretense and attempts to put pressure on pity in order to lure people out of the car, kill them and rob them - this is not uncommon in the modern world.

Ellie escaped on a horse. We follow Tommy in the footsteps of the girl. Once in an ambush, we destroy all the bandits in the territory. We actively listen and do not let ourselves be surrounded. After killing every single one, we return to the horses and on them we get to the ranch. Entering the house, we go up to the second floor and go to the very last room. Ellie is unhappy that we wanted to leave her and trust Tommy. The house was surrounded by bandits. We kill enemies while they inspect the rooms. After cleaning the house, we go outside. We learn from Tommy that the laboratory is located at the University of Colorado. Joel decides to complete what he started on his own. On this we say goodbye to my brother and continue our difficult journey.

University

After entering the territory, we head to the center. Climb up and jump over the fence. We go up the stairs, then turn left and jump across the terrace. We enter the building, follow the corridor and open the grate at the end. We pick up the flamethrower lying at the table on the right side. We examine the de-energized electrical panel; wire leads to the second floor. We go upstairs and burn out all the runners from the flamethrower. We start the generator in the central room, go down and open the gate. We jump to the center, turn left and cross a huge territory. We go around the building and arrive at the next locked gate. The mechanism is de-energized, and the generator is on the other side. We pass into the building through the door on the right side. We rise to the second floor, go along the corridor to the end and jump down. We shoot from the flamethrower in short bursts, as the ammunition is exhausted very quickly. Having cleared the floor from enemies, we go to the other side and push through the door, quickly and often pressing the button shown. We go up, get out and get to the gate. We move the generator to the wire on the left side and start the generator.

We slip through the archway on the left side. Then we turn right and jump over the fence. Arriving at the laboratory building, we go around it on the left side. The gates are closed, but you can climb over them. Let's go back a little, where there is a dumpster next to the fence. We transfer it to the gate and randomly break through them. This, however, is also a good way to get into the territory. We move the container to the truck and climb up. Through the balcony we move to another part of the building. We examine the list and go up. Follow Ellie, then open the door in the corner on the right side. We do not find anyone here except monkeys. From the recorded recording we learn that the scientist released the monkeys, and one of them bit him. Further more. We break through the door and find the skeleton of a dead man. Another audio recording that says the others have returned to the Virgin Mary Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Feral dogs.

Unknown people appeared and started shooting. We get out of the building in the same way as we arrived here, destroying enemies along the way. Suddenly, opening the door, we are attacked. No matter how we resist, we break down and fall right on a large fragment that pierces us through. As soon as enemies appear, we shoot them. Ellie helps us get up, follow her. We will be pinned in a corner, we will shoot at the enemy when he is distracted by Ellie. With difficulty we get out, and soon Joel will lose consciousness.

Winter
lake resort

Winter. Hungry time. To survive, Ellie hunts in the forest on her own. The first prey is a hare. A deer appeared a little further. We leave the horse and pursue large prey. We keep as far as possible and try not to step on the branches. The noise they make will only scare away the beast. Sit down, aim and produce accurate shot. Following the footprints and bloody spots in the snow, we continue to follow the deer. After a couple more hits, we boldly pursue prey and eventually get out to the huts, where we find a dead deer. Strangers appear, introducing themselves as David and James. Pressing on pity, they want to take our prey. In return for this large piece of "meat", Ellie asks for medical supplies to be delivered to her. David will stay with us and we will hide in one of the huts for a while.

We are attacked, and the infected begin to approach from all sides. You have to keep an eye on all the windows. We pass some of the enemies inside in order to collect ammunition after the kill. Let's block a couple of windows, blocking them with a closet. We continue to kill enemies until David offers to leave here. We shoot the nutcracker so that the partner can block the passage. We follow him, go up and fall down. Actively listening, we go around or destroy the clickers and move to the other side. We reunite with David and continue moving. Having reached a dead end, we notice a ladder at the top. We ask the partner to give us a lift to the ledge on the opposite side. By a detour we get to the stairs, along the way, destroying the nutcracker. We jump down and climb up the stairs.

We pass to another part of the building. Here we will have to fight off the infected for a long time and stubbornly. We quickly collect useful items and create as many bombs and Molotov cocktails as possible. We leave one bomb and one cocktail for the last, for a large enemy. After destroying everyone, we return to the hut to check on the deer. David shares his story with us. Not so long ago, he sent his people into the city, who stumbled upon some psycho and a girl. And then everything falls into place. David somehow decides to let us go. We take the medicines and leave this place as soon as possible.

The monkeys were released by a scientist who simply took pity on them.

Returning to the lair, we inject Joel with a portion of antibiotics. He is still not in the best condition. The next morning we find bandits on the territory. They still tracked us down. Apparently David's target was not Ellie, but Joel. We need to distract them so they never find Joel. We rush forward, bypassing the bandits. If you had to face them, then quickly and often press the button shown. The horse will be shot, and we will fall down. We go down the hill and pass through the house. We get out of it through the window on the right side. We actively use the bow so as not to attract too much attention. Do not forget, then collect the arrows from the bodies. We move to the other side and climb up. We go to the left to the pier and pass along its edge. We get to the pipe and move through it. Then there will be another similar pipe, only before we get over it, we remove the box from the wall.

We jump down and move closer to the house. Destroy the enemies one by one using the bow. We go around the house and arrive at the gate. We move one of the trash cans and enter the house through a small opening. We are trying to get to the exit on the other side. The bandits will try to get close and deal with us in close combat. We actively listen and preferably use a faster-firing pistol. When you try to open the door, David will grab us from behind.

Waking up in a cage, we see the following picture in front of us: James dismembers the human body, and a minute later David invites us to taste meat of unknown origin. Ellie lets David get close to her and breaks his finger.

Joel has come to, but he is still weak. We go outside, move along the road and, as soon as the gate opens on the left side, we take a place behind the shelter. It is enough to kill three for the rest to escape. We follow them to the fence. We climb over it and destroy the remaining bandits. We go around the house or pass through it and are attacked. Having defeated the enemies, we begin to interrogate them. We learn that Ellie is being held in the city.

Deer hunting.

The next morning, Ellie is trying to kill. But she manages to inform David that she is infected. Seizing the moment, she manages to escape. Having got out, we run to the end and, turning right, we enter the building. We move the cart on the left side and crawl under the boarded up boards. With caution, we turn left and move to the next building. Once inside, immediately go left and go to the toilet. Through the window we go outside and then we cross the road, using shelters on the left side. We go into the alley, get to the stairs and pass from the bottom to the right of it. We climb through the slot in the wall. We turn right and now we are constantly moving along the wall, actively listening and bypassing enemies. We get to a local eatery, which is easy to recognize by burning barrels. We get inside through the window in the alley on the right side. We move to the other side and when trying to leave the cafe through the front door, David catches us. Our task is to get close to him from the back and stab him with a knife. We move exclusively on all fours and look under our feet, because there are areas with fragments on the floor. If you walk through them, then David will find us. With each time to catch the enemy will be more and more difficult. In this case, we use "listening".

Playing as Joel. We go to the right and pass into the alley through the sink. We are waiting for the enemies to leave, and we are getting close to the container. We destroy the enemy in the upper position, using the bow. We pass through the container, move along the road and at the end turn into an alley on the right side. We enter the building and find Ellie's backpack. Having got out from the other side, we see a burning building.

The deer was resilient. It was possible to knock him down after three accurate shots.

Waking up, crawl to the knife. When David grabs us, we make the last push, quickly and often pressing the button shown. We deal with the enemy and, together with Joel, get out of this place.

Spring
Car park

We move along the freeway, then turn right and go down. Another empty quarantine zone. We climb over the fence and decide to cut the path through the building on the left side. We approach the ledge and try to plant Ellie. Today she is clearly not herself, apparently affected by what she had to endure for the whole year. In an instant, something distracted Ellie. We install the ladder and climb up. We follow the girl until we see a large herd of giraffes. Climb up and keep watching. Going down, we go along the tents and pass through the bus. We turn left and move along the tunnel. We jump over the truck and face a large number of infected. We use a bow against small enemies, and it is best to burn large ones with a flamethrower. One way or another, everyone will have to be killed. We move to the other side and seat Ellie. Then we climb ourselves and move on swimming. We go around the barrier under water. We climb on the other side and drop the ladder for Ellie.

You can pet a giraffe if you approach him.

We continue to walk on the right side. The door is closed, so we seat Ellie to the upper passage on the left side. We quickly kill the nutcracker who attacked the girl. We get to the next zone. We jump into the water, dive and swim through the open door. Turn right at the fork. We climb onto the first ventilation pipe, then we jump over to the second and move along it to the end. We go around the pipes through a narrow opening. We dump the raft, jump down and on it we transport Ellie to the opposite side. She will drop the ladder; when you try to climb up, the ladder will break. We rearrange it to the wall behind us. We climb up, pick up the ladder and go down it on the other side. We rearrange the ladder again, only now in a horizontal position, and we pass through the failure.

The flow of water has increased, so we jump from one van to another. From the ventilation pipe we go down to the bus and, not having time to go through it, we get stuck inside. We try to get out, clinging to the handles. In the end, we are thrown back. Ellie tries to help, but to no avail. We quickly get out of the flooded bus and swim only forward - to the surface. Ellie is unconscious, Joel tries to pump her out. Cicada's people appear and stun us.

Laboratory of Cicadas

We arrived on time, the operation had not yet begun.

Waking up, we see Marlin in front of us. She is trying to convince us that Ellie is a chance to save humanity. Only in this case, it is necessary to carry out a complex operation, as a result of which the girl will die. Joel is not happy with this turn of events. He finds out from the guard where the operation is being carried out, and cracks down on him. Hiding around the corner, we are waiting for the enemies to get closer, and we can shoot them. Having got assault rifle, it will be much easier to move forward. Let's use our entire arsenal. Moving to western part hospital. Here we can contrive and take cover behind the counter on the right side, and when the enemies run through, continue moving. We quickly destroy the enemies who broke through the door, and we pass on. We make the last push and finally get to Ellie. We carry it to the elevator, guided by the flashing lights. If we see lanterns, then we will definitely go around the enemies. Marlin will again try to stop Joel, but he will not allow it.

Jackson

Playing as Ellie, follow Joel. She shares her life story with him. In Boston, when Ellie was bitten, she was not alone. Her friend Riley also became infected and transformed after a while. Tired of losing people close to her, Ellie wanted to make things right, even though she would have to sacrifice herself. Joel hid information about the operation from Ellie, for the sake of her bright future. Watch the final video.

The game begins in 2013 and introduces us to Joel, a single father living in Austin, Texas, along with his twelve-year-old daughter Sarah. On the night of his birthday, a sudden outbreak of a cordyceps-like infection quickly spreads throughout the US. Joel and Sarah cross paths with Joel's brother Tommy and then try to leave town. A little later, Joel and Sarah are separated from Tommy, as the latter is trying to detain the infected. As they continue to run, they run into a lone soldier who is ordered to kill them. The fighter reluctantly opens fire on them. Just as the soldier is about to take a shot at Joel, he receives a bullet in the head from Tommy. Joel gets out of trouble without a single scratch, but Sarah is wounded by the first round of a soldier, she dies in Joel's arms.

Summer

Immediately after the prologue, the story ends and continues in the summer of 2033. Now Joel plays the role of a smuggler in a dark, post-apocalyptic society, along with his accomplice and girlfriend Tess, they often leave the city to bargain with other survivors. They have to look for a local arms dealer named Robert, as the latter stole a shipment of weapons from them, and then sent his people to kill Tess. When they catch Robert, he confesses to selling the weapons. Angered by this revelation, Tess shoots Robert twice in the head, and the two decide to explain to the Cicadas what happened in order to get their goods back. A little later, they cross paths with Marlene, the head. She makes a deal with them: they will have all their weapons returned and their pay doubled, but only after they deliver something for her. At the hideout Marlene takes them to, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary commodity. They will have to escort a girl named Ellie. Here, Tess and Joel are temporarily separated, Tess went with Marlene to the Cicadas' camp in order to check the weapons, while Joel accompanies Ellie to the smugglers' private quarters, where they subsequently wait for Tess. When Tess returns, the trio go to the designated point where Ellie will be waiting for the cicadas. But, not having gone far, they are ambushed by two patrolling soldiers, after which they are scanned for infection. Joel and Tess' scans come back negative, but before the soldier can see Ellie's result, she stabs him in the leg with her knife, after which Joel and Tess quickly deal with the patrol. At this point, Tess, looking at the scanner, sees that Ellie is infected, but she claims that the bite is three weeks old, which is unique, because people usually turn in two days. Despite the skepticism, the trio continued on, successfully evading reinforcements and fleeing into the subway, pursued by soldiers.

Once the soldiers fall behind them, Ellie explains that Marlene is convinced that what happened to her may be the key to finding a vaccine. Joel does not trust her, but Tess believes that her story is similar to the truth and urges him to bring the matter to an end. The trio fight their way through the hordes of Infected to the Capitol building, only to find the squad that received the Cicada squad destroyed. Joel states that they tried but nothing worked and offers to return home, but Tess reveals that she was bitten on the way and begs Joel to take Ellie to Tommy, hoping that he was once part of the Marlene group and probably knows how to deliver her to the cicadas. Tess is left alone to fight the soldiers storming the building, while Joel and Ellie flee for their lives.

First of all, Joel decides to visit one of his acquaintances, Bill, who owes him money, and plans to use him to get a working car that would immediately make it easier to get to Tommy. On the way to the debtor, Ellie and Joel are forced to make their way through an infected city filled with hundreds of Bill's tripwires. A little later, the heroes still fall into one of the traps. She will lift Joel into the air, causing him to shoot the infected upside down while Ellie tries to free him. At the last moment, the heroes are saved by Bill himself, helping them get to his shelter. After a brief respite, Bill snaps and handcuffs Ellie to a pipe, aiming a gun at Joel. The girl rips out the pipe and strikes Bill several times (later she and Bill often engage in verbal skirmishes). Joel reminds the survivor of the debt and says that he needs a car. After a long grumbling, he nevertheless agrees to the idea, saying that there is a military truck nearby that crashed into the school building, it must have a working battery. From himself, Bill adds that "this girl" can cost Joel his life and remembers his friend, with whom they survived together for a long time, after which they parted ways.

After a long drive to the school building, the three find the same truck, but after inspecting it, Bill states that the battery is missing. Under the onslaught of the infected, the group is forced to retreat to nearby houses, where they accidentally stumble upon Bill's "partner" hanging himself, who left him a suicide note. It was he who pulled the battery out of the truck, installing it in a pickup truck. It turns out that the battery is discharged, but the car can be started. Ellie gets behind the wheel while Joel and Bill push the car, fighting off the infected. In the end, everything goes well. The last conversation is indifferent. Bill gives Joel a gas drainer and then tells him to get out and never come back to his town.

Their trip is interrupted by a man asking for help. Joel quickly realizes that he is faking and trying to drive through the rubble, but the car skids and crashes into a nearby building, where a fight breaks out.

Naughty Dog , under the aegis ofSony , throughout its life cycle, the PlayStation 3 delivers games of exceptional quality. In thatcontinue the tradition, no one seems to have doubted. But what's going to work out So... no, we did not expect this.

You can disagree with Darwin's theory of evolution, you can find flaws in it, look for counterarguments, but it is unreasonable to completely deny the influence of natural selection on our existence. This life is not at all like a sugar cube stretched out in the palm of your hand. Every moment of happiness has to be fought for. Every step leading to a dream has to be climbed like Everest. Jacob's ladder, which symbolically connected the Earth and Heaven, will not be passed by everyone. Joel , main character game, by the will of fate is at its very bottom. Where you do not want to be an enemy: among the ruins of civilization, desperate people and escaped to the will of cave instincts.

The first fifteen minutes of the game. But it is better, of course, to see them "live".

For the first time we see Joel with his family, on his birthday, in front of the TV, in a rare moment of relaxation. " You are never at home, but you are still the best dad in the world. How do you do it?"- written in a greeting card. A common person, an ordinary father - who was not lucky. Like all other ordinary fathers. The end of the world made him tougher, more straightforward and indifferent to others. Will he find peace again? To see this, you have to go all the way with him.

1:4. "The family goes, and the family comes, but the earth remains forever."

In the world The Last of Us, all survivors remember that fateful day when the first infected swept through the streets in a mad wave. The developers have tried to ensure that the player also has this event deposited in the subcortex, lurking in a gloomy shadow among the memories. With its aggressiveness, suddenness and pressure, the beginning of the “end” is not inferior in form and quality to older examples from cinema and literature. "Dawn of the Dead" Zack Snyder , "Mobile phone" Stephen King , "World War Z" Max Brooks , "I'm a legend" Francis Lawrence ... Now a game version of the collapse of civilization has appeared, which can be put on the same shelf with them, and those who come next will have to keep "alignment with ...".

Locations, characters, dialogues, gameplay... let's not be afraid of this word - fascinate.

What awaits this torn world after twenty years? How do the survivors live? What are they fighting for and what are they dreaming of? AT " One of us”(under this name the game was released on the territory of the CIS) there are no answers to global questions, as, however, there are no questions themselves. Only history, personal and human. It is simple in terms of motivation, but complex in its essence.

This Long Walk for Joel, now a seasoned smuggler, gets off to a rather sluggish start. The first plot twists are easy to predict, but as soon as Joel is left alone with Ellie , a girl whom he will have to protect by chance, as history begins to expand along with the world. By the end, the player has a huge experience and memories of a variety of things and places: from cramped corridors to horse rides through the forests of America. Every corner of the world is thoroughly drawn. The crackling of branches underfoot, shy animals, insects running away from the circle of light of a flashlight... Relentless nature wins back its own. Her green hands take the empty houses and roads from the confused humanity. And only the quarantine zones still seem to be inhabited - vile, dirty, similar to the caves of primitive people.

2:17. “I hated life; everything under the sun seemed to me evil. Everything is empty, everything is chasing the wind.”

6:12. “Who knows what is best for a person in the days of his empty life, sliding like a shadow? Who will tell a man what will be after him under the sun?

And the characters are real, living people without a hint of heroism, outside the conventions of the genre, outside the established types. Everyone we meet brings their own experiences to the story. Everyone has their own path. And it’s not at all a fact that they all get to the end.

Even ordinary dummy soldiers, law enforcement officers in the quarantine zone, come to life if you get closer. The first time you get hit with a butt and a warning to keep your distance. In the second - a bullet in the head.

From the very beginning, we are given to understand that the jokes remained in another series, along with Nathan Drake. Excellent technical implementation makes what is happening even more real. The bar in the display of the world and characters is raised so high that the games of the next generation - and those will have a hard time. It remains only to find fault with the little things. Why doesn't Ellie cover her face with her hand when a flashlight beam is directed at her? Why isn't Joel shaking and coughing after swimming in ice cold water?

THIS IS A TRADITION: Localization of games in our country is increasingly raising questions. The Last of Us was not spared the substitution of concepts, technical flaws and other annoying little things. The translation turned out to be quite free, in some places the original message is lost. The Fireflies, a political resistance group, became the Cicadas, so the motto "Staying in the dark - go to the light" changed to "Staying in silence - follow the voice." And Ellie, who first saw live fireflies, is forced to call them cicadas. Some phrases are translated out of context. For example, Joel, while climbing on a horse, instead of "move over" says to Ellie: "Run." Add to this the texts of the diaries that break off in mid-sentence and a strange bug due to which Russian-speaking characters stop opening their mouths...

Take the kids away!

The story of the game is divided into seasons: summer, autumn, winter and spring. And if for the aged Joel this is really the path to spring and some kind of spiritual rebirth, then for young Ellie the path is rather the opposite. The cruelty of a collapsed civilization will forever change its attitude to life. In this world there is no place for the joys of childhood. The open, almost carefree perception of the girl over time is replaced by embittered determination, detachment, a cold look and the need to survive on an equal basis with adults.

7:20. “There is no righteous person on earth who does only good and does not sin at all.”

Violence in The Last of Us is a disgusting but subtle, almost theatrical tool. It's not as provocative as in the movies. Dario Argento , not as mesmerizing as Cigarette Burn John Carpenter , but not the usual enticing sign, as in the series or now forgotten. The cruelty in the game frightens, first of all, with its documentary. This is especially true for the death scenes. Rest assured, dying in The Last of Us is almost physically unpleasant, to the point of trembling in the knees. And although the scenes of death are cut off at the most repulsive moments, sometimes you have to put down the gamepad and go for a “smoke break” to collect your thoughts.

4:2. “I realized that better themes who have already died than those who are still alive. 4:3. “And best of all for those who have not yet been born and have not seen the evil deeds that are happening under the sun.”

Fighting infected people and simple thugs acquires a depressing, routine character. Joel is by no means a righteous man, and, choosing between murder and a peaceful solution to the conflict, he will choose the first. Because in the world created by Naughty Dog, this is the optimal and most effective method. Kill or be killed - there is no middle ground. Such behavior is more than justified and even reinforced by animal passion, akin to the courage that was felt in the actions of the hero of the film "Oldboy" or the nameless man in "The Man from Nowhere". Each blow is perceived as an act of justice, as a way to put the mad world in its place. And if you think that history Last of Us, along with the characters, will make you a little better than you were before - you are deeply mistaken. There is neither heroism nor high purpose in cruelty here. She just is.

Survive!

The debut gameplay video made a splash. After that, I went deep underground, unplugged the ethernet cable, and turned off my phone so I wouldn't hear or see anything related to the game until release. Even then it was clear that extra information would either weaken the feeling of the game, or unnecessarily overestimate expectations.

As it turned out, the shares of shooter, stealth and survival are approximately comparable here. Only pre-planning and saving supplies is given less attention than we would like. On normal difficulty and with reasonable use, pistol ammo for the first time runs out only towards the end of the game, and this is because opponents are armed with more powerful guns and there is simply nowhere to take bullets for an old pistol. In terms of the need to save ammunition from Ubisoft is much harsher.

live by gathering

3:18. “And I said to myself: as for people, God tests them to show them that they are animals.”

AT difficult situations you can make a first-aid kit, a Molotov cocktail and bombs from improvised trash, one throw of which can put a spectacular end to a shootout. Be sure to pick up everything that comes to hand, sooner or later every piece of fabric will go into action. Sometimes these rags, belts and alcohol are missing even more than cartridges.

You will also have to hunt for weapon parts, medicinal herbs and drugs. The former are needed to improve the characteristics of weapons, the latter will be useful for Joel to develop his hidden capabilities. Both are sorely lacking. The most useful thing a player can do is to craft a holster for a second pistol and long-barreled weapons so that in the heat of battle they do not drop their backpack on the floor in search of an urgently needed shotgun. And in the development branch, the skill of owning melee weapons and increasing the maximum health reserve will come in handy. Everything else - later, because more than one passage is still not in time. Upgrading and modifying weapons in The Last of Us moves at a snail's pace, so you have to choose carefully.

3:19. “The same thing happens to people as to animals: both of them die, and both have the same breath, and in no way is a person better than animals, for everything is empty.”

All opponents react exclusively to Joel's actions. And this, perhaps, is the main stick in the wheels, which makes it difficult to perceive the local stealth at the proper level. Imagine there are three other people with you. You sneak past the infected, trying to avoid sudden movements, and at that moment you hear the elephantine stomp of your comrades behind your back. It would seem that it's time to throw up your weapons and prepare for the inevitable collision. But no. But as soon as you speed up your pace a little, the surroundings will shudder from the wild cry of the starving creatures and the flock will rush at you.

The same applies to running between shelters. One day I decided to go around the rear of two marauders standing in the doorway. He climbed out the window, crept up from behind ... and then Ellie jumps right between them on all fours. Panic?! Screams?! Shots?! Nothing like this. The whistle of a shattered Molotov cocktail, death agony, and again - silence.

On the other hand, ask yourself if you need the restrictions imposed by the behavior artificial intelligence? Asking teammates to stay in one room while you clear another? Hardly. All the work on the study of the atmosphere would have gone down the drain. Fortunately, the embarrassments described above do not happen often, and at least you feel that everything is under control. Everything is in the hands of the player.

IT IS IMPORTANT: playing The Last of Us with extraneous sounds is like trying to sleep with mosquitoes squeaking. Until you eliminate all annoying sources of noise, you can’t concentrate. So you have to batten down the windows, draw the curtains and, if desired, cover the walls with soundproof mats. The sound in the game is amazing. Silence will eventually become your main ally. While sneaking, Joel can listen to the surroundings, and if there are enemies nearby, they will light up. So you can easily scan rooms behind the wall and corridors around the corner. It almost does not affect the atmosphere, but the advantage over the enemy gives a colossal one.

Mutants behave most adequately. There are only a few types here (outwardly they differ), but each has its own function, each requires a special approach. Screaming, running in crowds, not knowing the fear of weapons, they will bite you to death in a few seconds, and there will be almost no chance to escape from their clutches. Some even kill instantly, one has only to be at arm's length from them. natural animals.

People copy this behavior to some extent. If you inadvertently catch the eye or unsuccessfully attack a lone enemy, all his comrades-in-arms in the earshot range will come together like cunning jackals and take you into the ring. And then a thoughtful positional action movie begins. To fall into the trap of a savage waiting around the corner, as shown in the gameplay video a year ago, is a piece of cake. Ellie, meanwhile, helps in every possible way: she shouts “Joel, on the right!” When a thug with an ax in his hands rushes at you, throws bricks at opponents and, in which case, she can even plunge a knife into the throat of the enemy who grabbed you.

But the move with taking a hostage works on the principle of a human shield, and no more. Marauders just stop shooting and vultures circle around you. In the same I Am Alive, a similar technique was of a certain diplomatic nature, in The Last of Us it is just a way to prolong one's life in a shootout.

5:10. “If they fall, one will pick up the other. And if a lonely one falls and there is no one to pick him up? 5:12. “And if one overcomes one, two will be able to stand, and the triple thread will not break soon.”

In contrast to the same in "The Last of Us" there is no obvious bias in one or another style of play. Everyone is their own director, and there can be no favorite style here. Either you lure enemies one at a time, go around behind, stick a knife in the neck, then hide behind covers, run from room to room, dodging Molotov cocktails, and shoot from a rifle, watching the ammunition. And then, when the cartridges run out, you hide, bandage your wounds, pick up a pipe with a glued blade on the end and go out into desperate hand-to-hand combat.

On the competent alternation of the stealth mode and battles, the whole mechanics of collisions rests. In The Last of Us for your life really have to fight. Sometimes - throwing his chest on the embrasure in desperation, sometimes - throwing empty bottles at opponents to win at least a few seconds of respite.

At the same time, the camera, to which there are often complaints in games, works impeccably. To the viewer behind you, the skirmishes will seem cinematic, but you will know that all this is far from being a movie.

9:4. “But all living people have hope: a live dog is better than a dead lion!”

The Last of Us always stays in touch with the player. And even in between battles, he does not lose this thread. The characters are constantly talking to each other, every moment of your life in this post-apocalyptic, harsh world something to remember. If someone before the start of the game said: “Motor!” - then the cherished "Cut" would have sounded only at the end credits.

Get paid!

[] The devil is not so terrible as he is painted. Even players who are far from online battles will surely try multiplayer.[]

There are games like or, the existence of which is already justified by multiplayer alone. But about the network The game There's not much to say about Last of Us.

The online mode of The Last of Us largely copies the online battles from, only with an even smaller set of modes and innovations tailored to the surroundings. It is worth considering it more as an independent and not entirely necessary appendage, rather than as a full-fledged element of the mechanism. This is a gambling, good entertainment, working on the classic principles of online shooters.

Of greatest interest is the "Survival" mode, in which the killed players come to life only in a new round. No timed respawns - only two teams and a tough positional fight up to four wins. Lacking in the European segment of the Playstation Store, this is a very good alternative. Of the innovations, we can note boxes with resources located at key points, from which Molotov cocktails, first-aid kits and other useful things are made right on the battlefield. Here you can draw analogies with the well-known "capture the flag", only here, visiting important points, you get only a material advantage.

1:9. "What was, is what will be..." 1:9. "... what has happened will happen, and there is nothing new under the sun."

The idea of creating and caring for one's own community could be an essential element network game, if it weren't so casual. Prologue

We go to the left, we pass through the ajar door. Tommy arrived too late, Sarah died from her wounds.

quarantine zone

We head to the next building. We penetrate inside from the right side, hiding behind a police car.

Using a sniper rifle, we clear the way for the allies.

The first joined the Cicadas, hoping for a better life, and the second decided to engage in smuggling.

We sit down, aim and make an accurate shot.

We penetrate inside through the window in the alley on the right side
