World of tanks battle modes. An overview of the "Team battle" mode in WoT. Meeting engagement. Prokhorovka

PVE - a mode where fighters fight against the game world, that is, against opponents under control artificial intelligence. For a long time, the players argued whether PVE in World of tanks. Some players believed that to fight so much with real opponents is a feature, and one of the advantages of the game. Others argued that the appearance of PVE content would make the project more diverse.

The developers have resolved this dispute - PVE will be in the game, but in the form that, perhaps, will suit the majority of players.

Training battle in World of tanks

The battle against the bot team will become available for Rookies World of tanks with the release of patch 10.0. The new PVE mode will be called Training fight , and will be available only for vehicles of ranks 1 and 2. The composition of the teams will be unequal in one team there will be 10 participants (among them from 3 to 7 real people), in another - 15.

Beginners will receive experience and silver for the first 10 battles, then experience and credit will not be accrued, but the opportunity to play in this mode will remain.

How to get into PVE mode in WoT

In order to get into the PVE mode in World of tanks, you need to select a tank of the first or second level, and at the top of the hangar in the drop-down list, select - Training fight .

On the this moment in game world of Tanks there are only four types of battles: random, where you play on random map with random players, training battles, where you practice your skills, company battles, where you play for your company, and clan battles, where you can play with friends on the same team in the clan. The main mode in the game is considered a standard battle, an oncoming battle and an assault battle, where you need to try to storm opponents. In the game settings, you can customize your preferred battle mode.

Random fights

Standard battle in WOT

Standard combat is the very first mode that the creators of the game introduced. Before new version 0.7.4. the developers decided to add two new modes: "Assault" and "Encounter". In random battles, "Encounter Battle" was the only mode for this type of battle at that time.

What is the essence of the game?

The balancer had to assemble two completely different teams 15 players each on any card they get. Each team should certainly have such a base that the opponents will not find. The goal of this game is to capture the enemy flag and destroy all combat vehicles. If both teams simultaneously captured two bases, or destroyed all military equipment in 15 minutes, then the game should be declared a draw. If a team is captured and destroyed at the same time, then destruction is already declared.

Developers have implemented the standard mode in almost everything game cards, and "Storm" and "Encounter" are only a few.

platoons

The game has an opportunity for friends who want to play in the same battle and in the same team. A platoon can consist of two or even three players. In the game, you will be able to communicate with your team using a specially built-in voice communication. Thanks to the platoon and, of course, the players themselves, the outcome of the battle can change dramatically, both for opponents and for allies.

Storm

In this mode, one team must guard the allied base, while the other must be able to capture the enemy base. The base that is guarded wins a lot: very good position on high; if one player from the team survived for 10 minutes and the team won, then the victory is credited (if your base is not captured). For opponents, everything is almost the same, not taking into account the fact that they have access to the choice of the direction of the blow. And of course, they do not need to guard the base, because they simply do not have it.

This mode is present on such maps as: Siegfried Line, Karelia, Sandy River and Erlenberg.

Meeting engagement

The Encounter Battle mode is a bit like random battles: you need to destroy all enemy vehicles or capture their base. But, there is one point: only one base is given for two teams. Each of the teams spawn at the edges of the map, and at the same points where they spawn there is one single neutral base.

It's good that the capture speed has been reduced by three times compared to the standard battle. When you are in the capture zone, where there will be two teams (number and number big role not playing), the capture will stop, but the capture bar will continue to flash. The battle time is standard - 15 minutes.

This mode is present on cards such as : Siegfried line , Robin , Murovanka , Pass, sandy river , Ruinberg , Steppes , Himmelsdorf , Al Halluf , Ensk and Sacred Valley.

The following ratio of dropout modes is known: 50% - Standard battle, 25% - Assault, 25% - Encounter battle. If you turn off one mode, then the probability of falling out of the remaining two is equal to 2:1.

Training battles in World of Tanks

You can practice before the big fights, the practice tab is under the Fight! tab. You can edit a lot of parameters in this mode for those you want: mode, map, battle duration, battle description and of course make the room private or leave it open. The number of participants is limited according to the standard: 15 players to 15, + there are still "reserve" places.

Of course, you won’t get credits and experience, but for that you still have to pay for used shells or equipment. Repair after a training battle is free. And of course, the results of the battle in the training room do not affect the overall game statistics in any way.

Team fight

Team Battle is a special game mode where players fight to the bitter end in teams of 5-7 people.

Basic Rules

A fight can only last 10 minutes at most.

Battle type - only "Standard battle". Other types of combat were specifically disabled.

You will fight for following maps: "Lasville", "Monastyr", "Prokhorovka", "Mines", "Ruinberg", "Steppes", "Himmelsdorf", "Ensk", "Utes".

Each team must have a vehicle no higher than level 8, and a total value of 42 points. Only tanks of the first, initial level are worth 1 point, and then in ascending order - 2-2, 3-3, etc.

In this fight, the standard team is considered to be a team of seven players. You can, of course, play with 5 or 6 players, but because of them, each participant who could not be present in the battle loses 1 game point.

Company battles

Company battles are a special type of battle that differs from others in that only a company commander can create a company, and all other players can only speak using voice communication. The team recruits fighters by the number of points, if there are enough of them, then they accept him, if not, then the recruitment should continue.

When all the fighters in the company have already prepared, then the company must, according to the rules, go to the lobby, where an enemy team will be selected for them. The selection algorithm is that there must be at least four teams in the lobby, if you do not take into account the fact that in companies and in company battles the balance of teams is not taken into account anywhere and in no way.

After the battle ends, each of the teams receives special experience after the battle for the destruction of tanks, flashes, etc.

But it is worth taking into account the fact that the winning team, in addition to its gained experience and funds, receives a good percentage of the funds of the opposing team, so the winning team has a very large winning percentage, and the team that lost in battle loses a lot of experience and own funds .

In company battles, there are only four levels of battles: junior company, medium company, champion company and absolute company. In each of them, you can only play with vehicles of a certain level and with a minimum/maximum number of vehicle points.

Clan battles in World of Tanks

Clan battles are a special game mode in which some rules are similar to company battles (especially similar in absolute companies), but of course with a predetermined map. Only those who are members of the clan can play and participate in clan battles. All battles take place according to strict rules and fight for provinces, special areas on the global map. Battles for the provinces have several stages, and at the end, the team that won all the pre-planned battles will fight with the host team of the province for the right to take possession of this territory.

The clan that owns the province will only profit from that zone until another, stronger team owns that province.

With the help of the browser, selection is carried out to organize battles for game chips on the global map.

"Fog of war"

In this mode, there is such a feature as the "Fog of War". This means that all players who were not detected by the enemy during the entire battle will not be displayed in the team lists in the future. If the player still managed to inflict some damage on the enemy, but he was not detected, then his technique will not be displayed, but only one nickname.

Blocking equipment in the hangar

If during the time you fought in the clan and all your vehicles were destroyed, then it is blocked for a while for landings, depending on the level and class of the vehicle. If you have a tank of the first level, then you should not be afraid, you will not be blocked. In other modes, there is no blocking of vehicles, and you can safely play them.

Game modes in development at WOT

Historical battles

These are battles where there is a division into nations, vehicles and modules. There will also be a division into years of production of equipment that is involved in battles. There are plans for historical maps as well as special achievements.

garage fights

Before entering the battle, the player has the right to select several tanks from his hangar. If during the battle the tank on which he was riding was destroyed by opponents, he safely changes it to any other that he has chosen in advance in his hangar.

30 vs 30 fights

Even at the beginning of the launch of the World of Tanks game, the developers made promises to make 30 vs 30 battles. But, as mentioned earlier on the game forms, this has a bad effect on the performance of the game and the client, and there are also heavy loads on the main game server. Unfortunately, this mode is still under consideration.

In the last article, we talked about which one is needed and this is the primary condition for comfortable game. But equally important is the correct setting of the game parameters.

Proper settings are the key to a comfortable game! Now we will briefly review all the game settings and pay attention to Special attention graphics setting.

1. General settings

The Game tab contains general settings.

In the "Chat" section, you can enable message censorship so that asterisks are displayed instead of abusive words (recommended for children). Here you can also turn off spam, platoon invitations, friend requests and messages from those who are not in your contact list (friends). Personally, these messages got me, I turned off the chat altogether and enjoy the game

In the Random Battle Types section, you can turn off Encounter Battle and Assault. In these modes, the same maps are used as in random battles, but the location of bases and victory conditions have been changed. In the "Encounter Battle" mode, there is one common base and the team that captures it or destroys all opponents wins. In Assault mode, one team defends the base, the other defends. To win, the Defenders need to prevent the capture of the base and survive at least one member of the team. To win, the "Strikers" need to capture the base or destroy all opponents at any cost. Personally, I do not like these types of fights, but you can try them for a change, maybe they will suit your taste.

In the "Combat Interface" section, you can turn off the optics effect (green background in the sight) so that it does not spoil the picture, turn off the display of the machine that destroyed you (if it makes you nervous).

Be sure to check the boxes "Enable dynamic camera" and "Horizontal stabilization in the sniper scope" otherwise it is simply impossible to shoot on the move, the scope dangles in all directions!

I uncheck "Show vehicle markers on the scoreboard" and "Show combat effectiveness tapes" because I don't see the point in them, they only distract.

As for the minimap options (camera direction beam, self-propelled guns firing sector and additional features), then I turn them off because I'm using a minimap mod with advanced features, which I will tell you about in the next article. This is important, if you, like me, will use the minimap mod, then disable these options so that they are not duplicated, thereby reducing performance.

When the "Record battles" option is enabled, small files (replays) will be recorded in the "replays" folder, which is located in the game folder, which can then be viewed. This has almost no effect on the performance of the game and you can easily share them with friends or upload them to the site "wotreplays.ru" so that other users can see how you bend over. But these are not video files, they can only be played by the game itself and stop working after exiting next patch. Therefore, if you want to post a video on YouTube or save the history of your victories for posterity, do not forget to digitize the best replays after hard fights using some kind of screen recording program (ShadowPlay, Bandicam, Fraps).

Well, by checking the last checkbox "Display distinguishing marks" you can measure the barrels with the players in the game. Stars or notches (from 1 to 3) received in battles for great service to the motherland will be displayed on the barrel of your tank

As soon as you switch to the "Graphics" tab, the screen settings are displayed.

If you just installed the game and it is still displayed in a window, and not in full screen, then check the box " Full Screen" and click the "Apply" button. Only after that you need to select "Screen Resolution". If you have a liquid crystal (flat-panel, TFT) monitor, then select the maximum resolution, and leave the frame rate at 60. If you still have a fucking box of a CRT monitor on your desk, then a resolution of 1280x1024 at 85 Hz is usually suitable for it ( or 75 Hz). Click "Apply" and if everything is displayed normally (not stretched or flickering), then this is good. If you cannot find the resolution you need or the image turned out to be stretched, then try changing the "Aspect Ratio" as well.

In the Graphic Quality field, you can manually select low, medium, high, or maximum quality. This will install the appropriate set of settings, which we will talk about next. If you are not playing on a calculator (a very weak laptop), then make sure that the "3D Render Resolution" slider is set to 100% and uncheck "Dynamic change" otherwise the picture in the game will be blurry.

It is better not to enable the Vertical Sync option, as it negatively affects performance. This is only required in case of noticeable "frame tearing" and is applicable on powerful gaming PCs. The "Triple buffering" option is needed to improve the performance of the video card when " Vertical Sync”, but affects the performance of the processor that does this buffering.

The Anti-aliasing option improves the picture, it becomes softer and more natural, but this significantly loads the graphics card and is designed for powerful gaming PCs. In this field, you can select different anti-aliasing modes from lighter (FXAA) to quite heavy (TSSAA-HQ).

"Field of View (FoV)" sets the location of the camera relative to your tank. That is the angle at which you will look at it. The default is set to 95 degrees and "Dynamic FoV" is disabled. No one really complains about these settings, so you can leave everything as it is. If you want to experiment, then you now know how it was, so that later you can return it to its place

The "Gamma" setting adjusts the brightness, but don't touch it in vain, it's better to reset your monitor settings to default, as the game is well calibrated.

"Color Filter" is a gourmet option that overlays a different background in the game, like effects in cameras. I tried, glamorous but useless...

Well, "Color blindness mode" is designed for people with vision problems.

On the same "Graphics" tab, if you click on the "Advanced" button, the graphics quality settings will be displayed.

At the very top there are the already familiar "Recommended" button for automatic selection of optimal parameters, the "Graphics quality" field for setting a set of settings from low to maximum, the "3D render resolution" slider, which should be at 100% and the "Dynamic change" checkbox , which should not have a check mark.

As graphics quality increases, the frame rate per second (FPS) decreases. It is believed that a person sees 24 frames per second and for a smooth picture it is desirable that the game gives out at least 30 FPS. But from my own experience I can say that the normal dynamics in the game starts at 60 FPS.

What is the difference between low dynamics and high dynamics? With low dynamics, your tank drives like a Zhiguli (just stupid), although it can be like a BMW. I have felt this more than once and you will feel it if you follow my advice! Extras (majors) have powerful computers that even at high graphics settings give out decent FPS (100 or more). Therefore, they feel the dynamics in the game much better, the machine reacts subtly to all the fibers of the soul and they play more efficiently. And on a fast ST or LT without dynamics, it’s generally sad ... I’m not talking about supercomputers that are used in e-sports. That is what they are for - for dynamics.

The network game is not a single shooter and the victory over a live opponent is important in it, and not sluggish participation in a meat grinder with bots Then the game gives such a desired moral satisfaction after hard working days, and not frustration and a bottle of vodka Convinced, no? Then read on

I have a mid-range gaming PC and pulls the game at maximum graphics settings, giving out 40 FPS. On high settings, it averages 60 FPS. In the settings window, which I gave above, you can select the type of graphics "Standard" or "Improved". So, despite the fact that the hardware allows, I have long preferred to play on standard graphics, without any extra goodies.

Just like that, simple and angry, yes. But what a pleasure the game brings when you race on a bachata (or at least a pissatfour) at a speed of 100-150 FPS! And there is not a speck of dust in your eye, nor clouds of smoke and heaving earth from a T92 shell that fell nearby, nor the terrible grass drawn schoolchildren for ice cream by highly paid designers, no fog that prevents the T95 hatch from being aimed from 500 meters, no other nasty graphical innovations that turn BMWs into Zhiguli and interfere with effective play.

Many computers draw standard graphics much better, the FPS is many times higher and nothing prevents you from manually setting the available sliders to high settings, at which the picture turns out to be quite neat, clean and dynamic!

I also recommend turning off grass and effects in sniper mode (they are very annoying), foliage transparency (makes the game even cleaner and faster), tracks and effects from under the caterpillars (you never look at them at all). "Quality extra. effects "it is better not to set it above average or turn it off altogether, since they also interfere (for example, when a projectile bursts nearby from artillery). It is better to uncheck the “Dynamic change in the quality of effects” checkbox, there is no need for the graphics in the game to float.

In addition to the high dynamics and clarity of the picture, you will get some nice bonuses that you will notice during the game (for example, thanks to the transparency of the water, the bottom relief is clearly visible and where you can drive along it). Try it, ride for a while and you will notice that you have become more efficient. The main thing is not to rush forward on the wings of FPS

I don't promise anything, because I don't eat ties and caps. But if you still don't like the standard graphics, then just change the settings. The screenshot below shows the advanced graphics settings that provide the optimal quality / performance ratio for a medium-sized PC.

Download detailed description advanced graphics settings, how they affect image quality, what kind of load on the video card and processor you can in the "" section.

And yet, if the game needs to be restarted to apply the settings, a corresponding message will appear. In any case, I recommend restarting the game when making major changes to graphics settings.

When we get to the mods, then there is more interesting opportunities make the picture clearer and the sight more stable

If, despite all the settings, your computer is sorely lacking in performance, consider installing new level GTX 1050 Ti or 1060.

MSI GTX 1050 Ti graphics card

Here is a screenshot of the settings in the Sound tab.

Everything seems to be clear here, so I will add only a little personal experience.

I turn off the music right away, it interferes with the game no less than improved graphics

If you do not use a microphone in team fights, then turn off voice communication by unchecking the only checkbox. Turn it on if needed. Communication works on the principle of a walkie-talkie - you pressed the microphone activation button (Q), said, let go and listen to others. The one who holds the button for a long time clogs the air with noise from his microphone (computer, apartment).

Headphones A4Tech Bloody G430

The microphone must be connected before starting the game. If the microphone is not always on, then after connecting it, it is better to restart the computer, otherwise it may not work or work poorly. First check through the test service in Skype that the microphone is working properly, you can hear well and there is no strong background. If necessary, increase (or decrease) the microphone sensitivity in the system settings (in Windows 7: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Manage Sound Devices\Recording).

Then start the game, enable voice communication and select your microphone in the appropriate field. The Player Voice Volume setting affects how you hear others. The default “Microphone sensitivity” should be enough, starting from level 70 your voice can start to repeat and cause discomfort to other players, do not overdo it with this parameter and ask your comrades not “How can you hear me?”, But “Is it too loud?” ? " General level volume of the environment during a conversation "I usually reduce to 50, this muffles all the sounds of the game at the moment when your comrade is talking to you and you do not have to ask him again.

Well, the last, but not the most new feature- national voice. I usually leave the standard one, because who knows his mother what the crew of a Chinese tank is babbling there. But it's worth a try, the thing is picky

And yet, there is some other “Start Test” button, which I just noticed. Try it, tell me later in the comments

In the mods, we will also set the sound to the light bulb, this is the song!

With the settings on the "Management" tab, it's even easier.

But I will still give you a few tips. I recommend reducing the sensitivity of the sniper scope and increasing the sensitivity of the artillery. Expose it approximately as in my screenshot. This will give you better aiming accuracy when you are in a tank, because at high sensitivity, especially at medium and long distances, it is difficult to aim enemies, the sight moves too fast. And when you are on artillery, on the contrary, you are tormented by dragging the sight back and forth across the whole map with low sensitivity, and the rug is erased ...

Mouse A4Tech XL-740K

Do not even think about turning on any inversion, only plums will go

And one more piece of advice. If you have a mouse with additional buttons, then you can assign a specific consumable cell to one of them. In cells 1-3, the types of shells are switched and it is unnecessary to touch them. But in cells 4-6 there can be manually activated consumables. For example, I set a fire extinguisher in the first cell, which corresponds to the 4 key on the keyboard. Instead of key 4, I have long ago assigned a side button on the mouse in the game settings. This allows you to quickly put out the fire in the event of a fire, and not look for the right button on the keyboard while the ammunition explodes. In addition, if there is an increased risk of fire, for example, an AMX 1390 drove into your stern and is glad that he got to the soft one, then it won’t hurt to click at this time side mouse button for prevention! Works like an automatic fire extinguisher, but costs 7 times less

In the next article about mods, I will tell you how to assign multiple keys to one action and shoot more accurately! Yes, and if you screw up with the control settings, then there is a button "Default"

Go to the Target tab.

Well, there is nothing to say at all. You can adjust the size and shape of the sight, which I once tried. But the default settings are close to optimal, except to make the size bigger. Yes, and somewhere else a sight with an indication is selected. You point at the VLD (upper frontal part) of the enemy - it becomes red, you point at the NLD (you can guess) - green. In general, it makes it clear whether your projectile can penetrate armor in this place. Red - no, green - yes.

But don't bother with it, because in the article about mods we will install a more convenient sight with the correct indication, taking into account the angle of entry of the projectile!

Well, I just have to say that on this tab there are two more linings (pun turned out) for setting up separately an arcade (from the 3rd person) and a sniper scope (in optics).

Here you can customize the various icons above the tanks.

I somehow made the optimal settings for myself and they were saved, since now most of the settings (except for graphics and sound, in my opinion) are stored on the server and pulled from it again, even if the game is completely reinstalled.

There are also pads for customizing markers for allies, enemies, and destroyed vehicles. For allies, they are the same for me there, and for the destroyed ones, only the vehicle model for reference, the rest is disabled so as not to interfere on the screen.

I honestly tell you everything, but still I hope that you install the right mods and you don’t have to manually configure anything here

8. Remove unnecessary files

And finally, a little more useful information. You can significantly reduce the amount of disk space your game takes up by deleting all files from the Updates folder.

This folder contains temporary files that are downloaded during game updates. The developers themselves confirmed that these files are absolutely unnecessary and can be safely removed. This is especially true for SSD drives that are small in size. For example, this folder occupied 13.4 GB for me! Why was she sentenced to destruction without the right to restore

A-Data Ultimate SU650 120GB Hard Drive

9. Conclusion

Summing up, I want to say the following. If you want to win, forget about special effects and set up the game with high quality! After all, defeats do not bring any pleasure, but only irritate and leave a feeling of dissatisfaction!

Patch 0.7.4. introduced into online game World of Tanks two new modes: "Assault" and "Encounter Battle". In Sturm, one team defends the base, while the second tries to capture it or destroy all enemy tanks. In the "Encounter battle" mode, two teams fight for the base, which is located in the center of the location.

Meeting engagement

· Siegfried line;

· Robin;

· Murovanka;

· Pass;

· Sandy river;

· Ruinberg;

· Steppes;

· Himmelsdorf;

· El Halluf;

· Ensk;

· Sacred Valley.

The capture speed has been reduced compared to the standard battle. When two teams are in the capture zone at the same time (the number and numerical superiority do not play a role), the capture stops, the filled part of the capture lane is frozen. The time of an oncoming battle in WoT is standard - 15 minutes. Very often, players forget and play a standard battle, dooming themselves to a deliberate defeat. In most cases, the winner is the one who got up to capture before the opponent and took aim at all the approaches to the base. There are players who confuse spawn points (the place of constant appearance of some object or character in the game world) with bases and try to capture them, causing ridicule and smiles of opponents.

A word of advice: if the enemy vehicles began to capture the base, do not rush to fly headlong to shoot down. Explore the situation, choose the most convenient position for shooting, and only then act. The capture can always be stopped by driving into its zone. Do not forget about the allied artillery, timely illumination (revealing positions) of the enemy will help the ART SAU send a couple of weighty gifts from the sky and discourage rivals from climbing the point for a long time.

Storm

The mode is present on the following maps:

· Siegfried line;

· Karelia;

· Sandy river;

· Erlenberg.

In the Assault mode, one team defends the base, while the other tries to capture it. The defending team has clear advantages: usually a better position on high ground; "Victory", if time is up and at least one player of the defending team survived (provided that the base was not captured); 10 minutes of fighting. The attackers, as a rule, have only surprise and a choice of the direction of the strike. In addition, they do not need to take care of the defense of the base, since they do not have it.

The main misses of the attacking side are haste and a forgotten direction. It is necessary to put pressure on the defense of opponents from all sides, since unexpected reinforcements may arrive from an abandoned flank and then the aggressors will have a hard time.

Defenders often slip through a noticeable mistake - a deaf defense without attempts to counterattack or at least conduct active reconnaissance of enemy forces. Thus, the defenders doom themselves to tedious waiting and inevitable destruction. Defenders huddled together are often illuminated by a single scout in a light tank, and the battle turns into a real beating. Such a thing cannot be allowed. You need to defend much more actively in the mode: cover the flanks, constantly control at least half of the map and do not forget to conduct reconnaissance. In World of Tanks, data on the location of rivals is the most valuable information that should never be neglected.

Currently, the game features four permanent modes: random, training, clan battles and battles in fortified areas. In addition to regular modes, there are those that are held seasonally, such as Ranked Battles and Frontline. Random battles are played in one of three modes: standard battle, assault, and oncoming battle. The standard battle is the main one, while the assault and oncoming battle are additional game modes of World of Tanks. As part of the Standard battle for X levels, a general battle is available. Additional Modes are not available for all maps and types of battles, in addition, they can be disabled in the game settings.

Random fights

Compositions of two opposing teams are selected randomly with the help of a special software mechanism - a balancer. All three modes are available for random battles: standard battle, assault and oncoming battle.

Standard fight

Standard battle is the first game mode in World of Tanks. Prior to version 0.7.4, when two new modes "Assault" and "Encounter Battle" were added to the game, "Standard Battle" was the only game mode in random battles. The essence of the game is as follows: the balancer collects two teams of 15 players on a random map. Each team has a base, which is usually located in a well-defended area. The goal of the game is to capture the enemy base or destroy all enemy equipment. With the simultaneous (or almost simultaneous) capture of two bases, the destruction of both teams, or the expiration of the battle time equal to 15 minutes, a draw is declared. With the simultaneous capture and destruction of the team, the destruction is counted.

The standard mode is implemented on all maps, while "Assault" and "Encounter Battle" are presented only on some.

Storm

In the "Storm" mode, one team defends the base, the other, in turn, tries to capture it. The defending team has clear advantages: usually a better position on high ground; "Victory", if time is up and at least one player of the defending team survived (provided that the base was not captured); 10 minutes of fighting. The attackers, as a rule, have only the advantages of surprise and the choice of the direction of the strike. In addition, they do not need to take care of the defense of the base, since they do not have it.

Meeting engagement

The goal of the "Encounter Battle" mode is similar to a regular random battle: destroy all enemy vehicles or capture the base. However, there is a small feature, on the map there is only one base for two teams. Teams spawn on opposite edges of the map, and there is one neutral base at the same distance from the spawn points.

The capture speed has been reduced compared to the standard battle. When two teams are in the capture zone at the same time (the number and numerical superiority do not play a role), the capture stops, the filled part of the capture bar flashes. The time of an oncoming battle in WoT is standard: 15 minutes.

The mode is present on the following maps:

pitched battle

General battle is the classic gameplay of standard battles, but on big maps, where you can fight 30v30 on Tier X vehicles. For participation in the battle, you can replenish resources not only with silver and experience, but also with bonds. The number of bonds is directly proportional to the total number of experience earned.

Other modes

Ranked Battle

Ranked battles are seasonal competitions where the strongest tankers fight, and the best of the best receive well-deserved rewards.

Mode " Ranked Battle» is based on the Standard Battle rules and is only available for Tier X vehicles. The balancer of this mode selects participants with an equal level of gaming skill into teams. Based on the results of battles, players are awarded a rank, which can then be increased by winning battles and earning chevrons.

Front line

Frontline is 30 vs 30 fights on a huge special map with an area of 9 square kilometers,

many new game mechanics and additional rewards for overall progress and personal performance. The front line is available for Tier VIII vehicles.

fortified areas

"Fortified areas" - a game mode for clan players. It is available in the game client and has nothing to do with battles and campaigns on the Global Map. Stronghold is the property of the clan, which consists of the command center, directions leading to it, and additional buildings.
