An analogue of Roach is also available. The picture, although not as exciting as in the Witcher, is also nothing. There are a lot of secondary tasks, non-linearity is available, and most importantly: if you remember this series from the old parts, then it's time to change your mind, because in the new part there was a powerful revision of views, because of which the combat mechanics became very, very similar to the witcher. And in the future part, which is Odyssey, the similarities between these two games will only become greater.
