Logic blocks gyenesh educational game. Gyenes blocks. Games and activities for the development of logic, albums with tasks. Didactic game "Game with one hoop"

Excerpts from one of the parent forums:

"Does anyone have these blocks? Do children like it or what is the maximum they use for - is it building houses? I'm thinking, to order such a box or not? Again, only they will scatter all over the apartment? ”...

*

“I don't think it's necessary. It is good to use these blocks in kindergartens in the classroom, otherwise there is little interesting in them, geometric figures and nothing more.

Well, what can I say? Anything can be scattered...

What are logical blocks? And why are they needed?

In many countries of the world, the didactic material "Logical blocks", developed by the Hungarian psychologist and mathematician Gyenesh, is successfully used to develop logical thinking in children.

Over the past decade, this material has been gaining more and more recognition from teachers and parents in our country. You can buy LBD in the store of educational games.

Gyenesh logic blocks are a set of 48 geometric shapes:

a) four shapes (circle, triangle, square, rectangle);

b) four colors (red, blue, yellow);

c) two sizes (large, small);

d) two types of thickness (thick, thin).

Each geometric figure is characterized by four features: shape, color, size, thickness. There are no identical figures in the set.

Many logic figure games use cards with property symbols. Acquaintance of a child with the symbols of properties is an important step in mastering the entire sign culture, literacy of mathematical symbols, programming, etc. The cards conditionally indicate the properties of the blocks (color, shape, size, thickness). There are 11 cards in total. And 11 cards with negation of properties, for example: Not red.

Unfortunately, there are no such cards in the store set, but they can be downloaded.

Gyenes Blocks is a universal educational game. Kids love to play with blocks! As the experience of Russian teachers in working from 2 to 10 years old shows, games with logical blocks allow:

* Introduce the shape, color, size, thickness of objects.

* Develop spatial representations.

* Develop logical thinking, understanding of the set, operations on sets (comparison, division, classification, abstraction, encoding and decoding of information).

* Master the elementary skills of the algorithmic culture of thinking.

* Develop the ability to identify properties in objects, name them, generalize objects according to their properties, explain the similarities and differences of objects, justify your reasoning.

* Develop cognitive processes, mental operations.

* Cultivate independence, initiative, perseverance in achieving the goal.

* Develop creativity, imagination, fantasy, modeling and design abilities.

* Develop speech.

* Successfully master the basics of mathematics and computer science.

How to play with LBD?

In the box with the blocks there is a small manual, which is very schematic. You can get acquainted with logical blocks in detail with the help of books: "Let's play" (edited by A.A. Stolyar. - M., 1991, 1996), as well as "Logic and mathematics for preschoolers" (edited by Z.A. Mikhailova - St. Petersburg, 1996, 2000).

I will share my own experience of working with children as a methodologist - practice leader and home teacher.

All games and game exercises can be divided into 4 groups with gradual complication:

To develop skills to identify and abstract properties;

To develop skills to compare objects by their properties;

To develop the actions of classification and generalization;

To develop the ability to logical actions and operations.

All games and exercises, with the exception of the fourth group (logical), are not addressed to a specific age. After all, children of the same calendar age can have a different psychological age. Some of them reach the next stage in intellectual development a little, and some much earlier than other peers, but everyone must go through all these stages. If the child cannot cope with the task on his own, then it is necessary to simplify the task, and so on until the child solves the problem. An independent and successful decision will be the step from which you should start moving forward.

If, however, children are kept at a certain level or prematurely given more challenging games and exercises, then interest in classes will disappear. Children are drawn to mental tasks when they are difficult for them, but doable.

It is good for an adult to become an equal partner during the games. I didn’t edify, but I played! Before starting games and exercises, let the child independently use them at his own discretion in games. As a rule, children are happy to build something out of them. In the course of such games with blocks, the baby will establish that they have a different shape, color, size and thickness. When communicating with a child, it is better to use the word “figure” than the word “block”.

Our favorite games:

"CODE LOCK" or "THIRD SUPER"

3 figures are laid out on a cardboard. Two can be combined according to some property, one is superfluous.

Anything can be behind the castle: a surprise, an entrance to a room, a road for a walk...

The child must open the lock: guess which button to press and explain why.

For example: There is an extra red piece. Because they are both yellow. Click on the red figurine!

"FIND THE TREASURE" or "WHERE THE PUPPY HID"

There are 8 blocks in front of the child, a coin or a picture is hidden - a puppy.

1 option

The treasure hunter turns away, the leader hides the treasure under one of the blocks. The treasure hunter searches for it, naming the various properties of the blocks. If the kid finds a treasure, he takes it for himself, and hides a new treasure under one of the blocks. The host at first plays the role of a treasure hunter himself and shows how to search for a treasure. Names various block properties. For example, the host asks:

Treasure under the blue block?

No, the child replies.

under yellow?

Under red?

Under the big one?

Under the circle?

Whoever finds it wins more treasures. When the game is repeated, the blocks change, their number increases.

Option 2

The host says: the puppy hid under a red, large circle. You can write a letter with cards - symbols:

"PICK BY COLOR"

Toddlers of two to four years old are good at learning classification. (Color, shape, size, thickness).

In this lesson, the children collected colorful leaves for the hedgehog and put them in boxes according to color.

"CITY OF GEOMETRIC FIGURES"

The kids have arrived to visit Mickey Mouse! Look what a city of figures it is!

There is an area of large houses and an area of small houses. Each area has streets of different colors. The houses have different shapes.

Serezha is looking for a rectangular house in the area of small houses, on Red Street.

And Katyusha went to visit the mole. And he tells all the kids: “The mole lives in a square house on a blue street in the area of \u200b\u200blittle houses”! Four-year-olds walk around such a city with interest, distinguish between times, three properties of the figures at once. What is difficult for some first-graders in the School 2100 program!

"HIGHWAY (BUILD THE ROAD)"

There is a sign in front of the child - the rule for building a track.

He builds a path according to the rule: he alternates blocks according to color or shape: first red, then square, then yellow, and triangular. The kid learns to highlight the property, to abstract from other signs.

To keep the interest of children, it is good to offer various game and practical tasks: we built a path to the box with a surprise, climbed over the bridge over the river, laid out a path of ice in the palace Snow Queen to help Kai and Gerda escape.

And in this lesson, the guys got into a swamp. Build a strong bridge. Between themselves, the blocks should be similar in two ways. For example: the pieces are both blue and fat.

There are games and exercises with blocks that are designed for older preschoolers. They will help develop in children the ability to divide sets into classes according to compatible properties, develop the ability to perform logical operations “not”, “and”, “or”, the ability to use these operations to build correct statements, encode and decode information about the properties of objects.

"RIDDLES WITHOUT WORDS"

We will help the child learn to decipher (decode) information about the presence or absence of certain properties of objects according to their sign-symbolic designations.

On this lesson - the journey, the children got to the magician's house. You must first disenchant him, and then knock.

For example: the first figure should be triangular, yellow, small and fat.

But the second one is round, red, not fat and not small. So, we will look for a red, large, thin circle.

It's great when ingenuity helps! Now you can see tricks!

AT senior group we organized a competition game program"Tic-tac-toe". One of the tasks for the teams was "Building a castle".

The teams analyzed the drawing of the castle, selected the necessary bricks. The team whose castle was built quickly and correctly won!

"SPLIT THE BLOCKS"

The game will teach you to split the set into two, three compatible properties, to perform logical operations "not", "and", "or".

Trouble in the forest! The fox, the wolf and the bear can't share Santa's gifts! Santa Claus told the fox to take all the small gifts, the bear - all the fat ones, and the wolf - the round ones.

But the trouble is, there are gifts that are both round and small at the same time. Both the fox and the wolf should take them! And there are gifts and round, and small, and thick! They can play all the animals together.

Three intersecting hoops (ribbons, ropes) helped us figure it out - find out where whose gifts are, who can use what on the rights of joint ownership!

Lots of interesting games! Children always enjoy solving logic puzzles. There are also favorite games that you want to play again and again.

And you will notice how the baby becomes smarter and smarter. How it will surprise you with the speed and flexibility of thinking! Good luck!

Zoltan Gyenes (1916–2014) is a famous Hungarian mathematician, psychologist and teacher. At the age of 23, he already became the owner of a doctoral degree.

Based on his rich personal teaching experience and the results of research in the field of psychology, Zoltan Gyenes developed the theory of six stages in the study of mathematics and created effective visual materials in the form of logical blocks and game aids.

The theory is based on six stages of mathematical knowledge

    Free play. The kid receives a task and solves it through trial and error, a chaotic enumeration of options.

    Rules of the game. The inability to continue the game without learning its rules is the most important pedagogical "trick".

    Comparison. The task is played out on buttons, paper snowflakes, dolls, etc., which brings the child to the need to think abstractly. You can use pictures for Gyenes blocks for games with other objects.

    representative stage. For visual visualization, tables, diagrams, schemes for Gyenes blocks, game cards, etc. are used.

    Symbolic. Experimenting with symbols, the child comes close to creativity.

    Formalization. Teachers call it the transition from an axiom to a theorem. Based on options problem solving, the child independently draws conclusions.

It is games with logical blocks that allow you to go through all six of the above stages.

Gyenes blocks are effective didactic material which successfully combine elements of a constructor and an educational game.

The game manual is a set of geometric shapes in the amount of 48 pieces, differing in shape, color, size and thickness. Thus, each figure is characterized by four properties. All figures in the set are different.

The figures themselves are the basis of the Gyenes technique. They provide a lot of exciting didactic games for children of different ages - from two to eight years. The main purpose of the blocks is to teach the child to understand the properties of objects. With their help, he learns to distinguish and combine objects, classify them.

Where to start?

What can and should be taught to two-year-olds, and what will be interesting for children of four or six years of age?

Formally, you can divide the goals into a sequential chain:

  • first we teach children to identify properties;
  • then compare objects according to the properties found;
  • we pass to classification, generalization;
  • we master logical operations and the language of symbols.

How to play (activity options)

Theoretically, the first simplest options are suitable for the smallest, and the latter for older children. But it is not necessary to tie options to age. It is better to focus on what your child can and wants. It is important not to force him to solve "high" level tasks at once. Again and again play easier and simple games, until you jointly achieve a given goal - for example, get acquainted with the properties of objects or learn how to separate blocks according to a certain attribute. For kids of two to four years old, it is better to “beat” classes in a fabulous way: for example, not just disassemble the blocks by color, but collect “flowers” or “mushrooms” in different baskets. When playing the "chain" described below, you can not only collect this sequence of blocks, but build "bridges" for the mouse across the river.

Comparison by properties

    If you imagine that Gyenesh blocks are treats for dolls, then you can invite the children to share the treat. Let's say bunnies only eat carrots (triangles or red blocks), and bears only eat honey (rectangular "barrels" or yellow blocks). We lay out the whole set in a common pile and ask the baby to choose all the treats suitable for the bunny and the bear.

    A more difficult version of the game is to take four toys: two similar pairs, but of different sizes. For example, we take two bunnies - large and small, as well as two bears - large and small. Accordingly, the baby should find all the appropriate treats for a big bear, but a larger one, for a small one - a smaller one. It's the same with bunnies.

    After laying out the figures, the baby can be asked: what figures did the big bear get - large yellow (or large rectangles)? And what did the little bunny get?

    "Who is faster?" You can choose blocks with the necessary features at a speed, competing with your parents: who will collect more red blocks faster or who will collect blocks of their own color faster. For example, you collect all yellow, baby - all blue.

    A more difficult option is to collect all blocks of the same color for speed, with the exception of, for example, triangular or thin ones. That is, the child needs not only to select blocks that have one common feature, but also to exclude from them some of the “inappropriate” ones.

    "Chains" - building chains, sequences of blocks (figures). We ask the child to lay out a chain of blocks according to certain signs: all the figures are of the same color or size. Then - all the figures of the same color, but different sizes, etc.

    A more complicated option - we ask you to lay out a chain so that neighboring figures have one common feature. For example, first the child puts a yellow circle, but the next figure should be a yellow block, but not a circle, or a circle, but not yellow (for example, a blue square). Accordingly, the next figure will be a blue circle or a yellow square, etc.

    Another version of the game is to build a chain when each next block differs from the other in all four properties.

    For those who like to solve puzzles, you can offer a chain where there is a beginning (one block) and an end (a completely different block). For example, you put a yellow thin rectangular block and a blue thick large round one. This is the beginning and the end. The kid builds a chain so that the new block differs from the previous one in one property. Accordingly, the penultimate block should differ from the last one (put by you) by only one property.

    "Not a property." We take a block and ask the child to describe its properties using the “not” particle. For example, what is the blue triangular block? Correct answer: not red, not square, not thin. Then you can ask to find all similar "not blocks": all not blue or not triangular.

    "Guess." This game requires logic blocks and a bag. The facilitator (for example, a parent) takes one block and, so that the child does not see it, hides it in a bag. The kid must guess what the figure is in the bag, asking questions to which the host can only answer “yes” or “no”. Accordingly, questions should be such as: “Is this figure yellow?”, “Is it a rectangle?” etc.

Classification, logical operations

We take out an arbitrary set of Gyenes blocks, including different shapes, colors, etc., and ask which is more - squares or blue blocks? The task of the kid is to isolate all the squares and blue blocks, count them and compare. Thus the child learns division into classes and comparison.

The logic blocks of Gyenesh suggest countless games that you can invent yourself. Construction, modeling, counting, development of memory and speech, imagination, the ability to perform logical operations - all this allows you to develop wonderful cubes and triangles. And if at some point even this is not enough for you, take a closer look at additional materials that are designed specifically for working with blocks and are aimed at developing individual skills and abilities for children of all ages.

According to open sources

Gyenes blocks are a set of 48 figures of different colors, sizes, volumes and sizes. Each piece in the set is unique. Games with Gyenesh blocks are aimed at the formation of elementary mathematical concepts for children from 2 to 8 years old. With their help, you can study the characteristics of objects: colors, shapes, volume, size.

Classes with blocks can be carried out both arbitrary and on auxiliary materials - albums.

I want to warn you right away that this toy is a serious development tool when a child and an adult play together. Independent games of children with blocks do not allow the effective use of their developmental potential. The same can be said about classes only on albums. I myself accidentally looked into the detailed description of free games with Gyenesh blocks without albums, which I am very glad about. That is why I want to draw your attention to games with blocks without albums. Although, of course, albums do not hurt for a change.

Our version of Gyenes blocks from the manufacturer Corvette. It is made of cheap but safety-certified plastic. This is a very budget option. The key point in choosing the Corvette option was the availability of albums for games with tasks. Corvette releases 8 different albums based on Gyenes blocks. Also, for Gyenes blocks, it is from Corvette that you can find additional developments with tasks in developing communities.

You can find other very attractive options for Gyenesh blocks made of wood, but practice books do not usually come with them. Albums produced by Corvette are unlikely to fit blocks from another manufacturer. It can also be noted that the prices for Gyenes wooden blocks are “biting”. Therefore, I settled on blocks from the Corvette.

Gyenes blocks | Lyrical introduction (Yana's acquaintance with blocks)

I have been eyeing the author's methodological materials for a long time. Before Yana was 2 years old. 7 months we did not feel a shortage of developmental materials, so earlier I put off acquiring them. After the last leap in development, most of our educational toys have become irrelevant. Therefore, when choosing gifts for the new year 2016 for Yana, I wanted to find options for toys with a large age range and developmental potential. By the way, in you can find the chronology of its development from birth, as well as our timing of the introduction of developmental tasks, the initial reaction to them and the effect.

I decided to turn my attention to developing toys of author's methods. Of course, I took care of the safety net by purchasing a few plush toys and a set for story game in Ikea. No one can guarantee that a new toy will be received with a bang. Actually, this did not happen to us.

The first acquaintance with Gyenesh blocks was a complete disappointment. I don’t even know for whom the disappointment was big - for Yana, who was simply not interested in laying out figures according to templates in albums, or for me, who had been anticipating her interest in new development kits for so long. I again and again listed the merits of the albums to Yana, played with them myself and with other characters, trying to attract her attention. But it was all in vain.

Yana treats templates with great coolness. Apparently, these are the fruits of excessive attention 😈 . By the way, Yana has the same attitude towards a beautiful mosaic with large details and patterns that are understandable for two-year-olds. Although most kids are happy to collect them according to patterns. Yana always has to persuade, and if she collects it, then only out of a favor.

After our unsuccessful acquaintance, I had to read on the Internet details about the use of blocks. After that, I decided to try random games without albums. Then a miracle happened, Yana's games were captured so much that it became difficult to complete them. When Yana already got a taste, everything went into business, including albums with templates. Although, according to reviews on the Internet, many kids are primarily interested in album lessons.

Gyenes blocks | Free games

I give options for games with Gyenesh blocks that we practice.

Samples

For kids 2-3 years old at the stage of acquaintance, you can simplify the game by providing not the entire set, but part of it.

  1. Acquaintance with the features of objects. Sampling by one feature (color, shape, size, thickness). Please select blocks according to one attribute:
  • red/blue/yellow;
  • square/round/rectangular/triangular;
  • thick/flat;
  • big/small.

Sampling by color

2. Acquaintance with the features of objects. Sampling blocks on several grounds. Please select blocks according to several criteria. At this point, you can feel the huge potential of the developmental material. There are a huge number of options for such samples. I will give a few examples. For example, select all:

  • yellow squares and rectangles;
  • thick and round figures;
  • small and thick triangles;
  • blue and flat figures.

Selection by color and shape. Yellow squares and rectangles

Developing the ability to organize

This is a game of reverse sampling. Mom makes a selection and invites the baby to determine the sign by which the selection was made. To get to know similar games you can try the most different variants samples. The main thing is that the hidden sign catches the eye of the child. Also on early stages we give tasks to determine one feature, then we complicate it.

I offer Yana the simplest option, showing several groups (rows) of figures and asking her to tell me how they differ.

Blocks are divided into rows by thickness.

Another task for the thickness, but here it is already more difficult. The colors take away from the thickness. This level of complexity has caused difficulties for Yana so far.

Continue row

Another task for the development of thinking, the continuation of the series. It is a classic task from intelligence tests 😀 . Yana is not yet given even the simplest color range. But we've only done it a couple of times.

The color range is yellow-red-yellow-….

A series of square-circle-square-…

Construction

This creative direction of activity cannot be ignored for any toy with geometric shapes.

In Yana's development diary, I already wrote that the last couple of months she has had a big breakthrough in the field of design. Gyenes blocks also came in very handy.

Of course we have Lego. It has its advantages, but try making a house out of ordinary Lego Duplo blocks. Even for an adult, it will take a lot of time. And kids can't do it at all. A house made of Gyenes blocks from a square and a triangle is obtained in a couple of seconds for both an adult and a baby.

For design classes, I adopted. For the first couple of classes, I got a lot of simple objects real life.

Arbitrary construction of the simplest objects

Yana was imbued with the idea and at this stage repeats the designs that she memorized, and also improvises. I must admit right away that so far her improvisations are far from objects from real life. But the main thing is that the process has begun.

Arbitrary design. Real life object construction for "advanced constructors"

For the first time reading such material, it seems that such games are difficult in terms of implementation. I want to convince you otherwise. Just remember a couple of options or write them down on a piece of paper for the first time. Try to play. If the kid likes it, then, I'm sure, your brain will immediately generate a dozen more options for games.

Yana appreciated the arbitrary games with Gyenesh blocks. I have a hard time completing them, as she usually needs to continue. Towards the end we have album classes.

Albums for Gyenes blocks

Gyenes block albums are designed for different ages. When choosing a specific album, I would advise focusing not on age marking, but on the level of knowledge of the child.

I really liked album "Lepim absurdities"(Babadu). It is marked “from the age of 4”, but if you have been enthusiastically engaged in development with the baby, then even in less than three years it can come up. This album stands out for its colorful design. By the way, if you have a “developed” child of 4 years old, keep in mind the album may no longer be of interest to him. The album contains tasks for studying colors, shapes, sizes, volumes. Below I have provided clickable photos of spreads.

The second album in our arsenal "Little Logics"(Babadu). It is intended for children from two years of age. The design of the illustrations of the album is quite modest. The album contains tasks for learning colors, shapes and sizes.

I foresee questions at what age is it better to purchase a set of blocks. Already at the age of one and a half they can be used to study colors, and at the end of the second year to study shapes. We have them appeared only towards the end of the third year, and I think this is timely. In my opinion, there is no need to rush. The optimal age of acquaintance with the blocks will depend on the perseverance and temperament of the baby. For calm Yana, this is the end of the third year, for active kids, perhaps it will be 4 years.

You can buy Gyenes blocks and magazines for classes on them here: My-shop.

That's all for now about Gyenes blocks. By the way, some of the random games can be adapted to other educational toys, including Lego parts. In addition to the Gyenes blocks, we purchased Nikitin squares and cubes, Kuizener sticks and a mathematical tablet with rubber bands (). We can say that Yana's early development program has been rebooted. AT soon I will try to write more about it.

Gyenesh Blocks - Benefits of Learning as a Game

The Gyenesch system clearly demonstrates that even babies, with right approach, quickly learn to analyze and generalize information and perform logical operations. Of course, learning should take place in the form of a game that combines both entertainment and learning.

Games that use Gyenes blocks help to use all the almost inexhaustible creative potential of the child, develop his speech, stimulating him to build complex sentences using conjunctions and semantic and formative particles.

Gyenesh's logical blocks teach himself little man designate various properties of an object, see the difference and classify a number of objects according to external features, highlight the main properties, etc. As the game becomes more complicated, the transition to the basics of computer science takes place, in a simple form, such concepts as coding, algorithms, logical operations and inferences are taught .

Gyenes blocks - cubes and figures help parents in the form exciting game improve the creative and intellectual abilities of the child. Pedagogical diagnostics confirmed that the Gyenesch system makes it possible to game form master mathematical concepts from simple to more complex, and develop psychological processes important for kids.

The Gyenesch Method - Learning Mathematics in Six Steps

Depending on the age of the child, the Gyenesch method offers six successive stages in the study of mathematics - games start with the simplest concepts and gradually become more complex.

Many adults are frightened and believe that this is difficult for a child, but any experienced teacher will confirm that children think very well in abstractions and what sometimes seems difficult for adults to perceive, the child easily and quickly learns.

It is only necessary not to overload it, but to move and work gradually on the steps - from simple to complex. As a result of the game, the child learns to solve rather complex mathematical problems.

Gyenes logic blocks - how to work with them to make games interesting

The Gyenes logical blocks consist of 48 geometric figures, among which there are no identical shapes, colors, sizes and thicknesses. A methodical manual is attached to the kit, which you should definitely read before starting the games. Most importantly, do not forget to use your own imagination in addition to the tips, do everything to make the games captivate and please the children, only then will you and your child succeed.

Gyenes block games for the little ones, start with the simplest ones, using the concept of “how it is”. For example, offer to find all the figures that are the same in color (all blue triangles), or in shape - to collect triangles of different colors or sizes, etc.

Then complicate the games - take any figure and offer to pick up different ones for it, “not like this” - find a circle, a square, a rectangle for the triangle.

Make the games more difficult by setting more difficult tasks - by building variants of chains from blocks, alternating between different and the same conditions. Teach your baby to build analogies - lay out one row of 5-6 shapes and offer to create a second one, but with different characteristics, for example, the shapes are the same, but the color or size is different.

Games for developing the ability to conduct analysis are an analogue of dominoes, when several people play and lay out a chain, picking up the corresponding figures to the ends, but of a different color or size. Offer to divide the figures according to their properties between the participants in the game, and these can be dolls, bears, hares, etc.

To as you can see, there are a lot of options, gradually you will start to come up with something else to diversify the tasks and make them entertaining.

Most importantly, watch the mood of the baby, in no case make him work if he is tired and can no longer concentrate. Games should be interesting to him, and to interest him, use them as a reward for something, for example: "Here, eat porridge, only then let's go play and take a hare with us."

By the way, according to many reviews, Gyenesh block games are also interesting for adults, they teach to improve - it's not too late to do it at any age.

Unique allowance Gyenes Logic Blocks(Corvette) was created to teach children the basics of mathematics and logic in an entertaining way. The author of the methodology is the Hungarian scientist Zoltan Gyenes, a theorist and practitioner of the so-called "new mathematics". Its rules say that no textbooks with boring examples and tasks will teach a child to count as well as a game will!

Logic blocks Gyenes, complete set:

48 three-dimensional geometric shapes that differ in 4 featured:

  • color (red, blue, yellow)
  • shape (circle, triangle, square, rectangle)
  • size (large and small)
  • thickness (thick and thin)

Thus, each figure is characterized by its individual properties, and there are not even two identical figures in the set.

The main purpose of using Gyenesh Logic Blocks

It consists in teaching preschoolers (children from 3 to 7 years old) to solve logical tasks on the classification and grouping of objects according to various properties. In addition, the material, consisting of 48 different shapes, will help the child develop speech, thinking and mathematical representations. Playing in Mind games with blocks, children will be able to successfully master mathematics and computer science in the future. Games and exercises are universal: you can offer them to children in the classroom and in free hours, during kindergarten and at home.

Gyenesh Logic Block Games

You can start playing with your child already at a young age. preschool age. At 2-3 years old simple games and exercises are suitable for sorting elements by shape, color, size, thickness, the purpose of which is to master the properties, the words “same”, “not the same”. For example, have your child select all the red elements. Or all round. Or go the other way: offer to choose NOT one like these. You can ask the child to find shapes that are the same in color, but of a different shape, size or color.

During classes, as always, a fairy tale and favorite children's toys will help you. Take a bear, a doll, a hare and ask the kid to distribute the cakes between them so that the bear has all the red ones, the hare has all the big ones, and the doll has all the thin ones. Properties can be changed each time. Pay attention to the child that some figures will suit not one, but several "guests" at once.

With the help of blocks, you can also develop the constructive abilities of the child, building from the proposed elements schematic images of objects familiar to him from childhood and a toy - a bunny, a bear, a little man, cars, rockets, etc.

Gradually, tasks can be complicated. Try to build a chain with your child so that two neighboring figures differ in some predetermined qualities, for example, they are of a different size or shape, the same in shape, but different in color (thickness) and so on. The child will gradually learn to operate not only with the existing properties, but also with their absence (non-red, non-round), and then with several properties at once, coming close to the concept of a set.

The last child will help to master hoop game. Put a hoop on the floor and ask the baby to put, for example, all the red figures there, leaving all the rest outside: “What blocks are inside? - Red. - What about outside? - Not red. When the child can easily cope with any kind of such a task, put two intersecting hoops on the floor and ask them to move all the round blocks inside one, and all the red ones inside the other. At the first stage, there will be difficulty where to put the round red blocks. Their place is in the intersecting zone of both hoops.

To diversify activities with logical blocks Gyenes, you can buy special albums with game tasks. Learn math with fun!
