Secondly, the gameplay with positional firefights became popular after Gears of War. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

In the new part of Rainbow Six, the developers have shaken up the series properly. The single player campaign has been removed, the game retaining only the essence of Tom Clancy's original Rainbow Six books. "The Siege" at first seemed like an ambiguous step for the series, but as a result it became almost the best part. The developers put tactical freedom in the first place, and they did not lose. Both terrorists and special forces have almost limitless possibilities: you can set traps at every turn, block doors and windows, blow up a wall or floor and take enemies by surprise. In co-op mode, you oppose a couple of dozen opponents. On easy and medium difficulty, there are no problems with them, but by setting the maximum level, be ready for a real test of your skills.

Dying Light

Polish action looks like a combination of Left 4 Dead and Mirror's Edge. The city is filled with zombies, it is not safe to walk the streets, so it is most convenient to move on the roofs of houses. Fortunately, our hero is a young and active parkour player. He jumps quite deftly, and if necessary, he can quickly get away from the crowd of opponents.

The co-op had to be in place, but the implementation could have been a little better. For example, in story videos there is no division into different characters: All players look at what is happening through the eyes of the same hero. With this exception, there are no complaints. Companions make hand-to-hand combat easier, zombies can be distracted for another person to unlock the door, and so on. Dying Light is a high-quality action game in both single player and cooperative play.

Borderlands 1-2

The series stands out for its excellent style and rather successful humor. While most games are done in a serious way, Gearbox Software offers a cartoonish style in a world that has gone crazy. It's sort of an interactive version of Mad Max, but even Max would find Borderlands unnecessarily crazy.

Co-op playthrough in such an action movie needs more for show, although the joint modes turned out to be surprisingly interesting. The story campaign again tells about the near future, where a war is being waged, and robots and fighters with enhanced abilities are fighting on the battlefield. Who didn’t share something with someone - questions so insignificant for the game that everyone has long resigned themselves to the nonsense that the screenwriters write.

But the action every year turns out to be quite good, and if suddenly a single passage is tired, then the cooperative will improve the situation. The levels are designed for joint game, they are large and involve frequent changes of tactics. Since the enemies, as before, appear as if from nowhere and do not end, the help of friends is very useful. In addition, although it is empty, it is still a very entertaining action movie. If not for the weak Battlefield story modes, this game would have been on our list - it's just that the campaigns are even worse there, but the multiplayer is reference.

Far Cry 4

The game has been criticized for not being much different from Far Cry 3 - only the setting is different. However, Ubisoft has made a great shooter that is still fun to play. Co-op is not available for the story campaign, but otherwise there are no restrictions on the joint mode.

In survival simulators, you can also often find modes in which you can play with friends and strangers online. Usually you can gather in small groups, from two to eight people. One of the heroes becomes the main one, he is responsible for everyone, he is the first to rush to fight opponents, he takes care of shelter, food, water, medicines, weapons. In general, the role of the chief is not as simple and sweet as many people think. This is a big responsibility and a real headache. But if you can become a good, fair and caring leader, other team members will tear and throw for you.

In survivors, you must always be on the alert, because zombies, aliens, ghouls, goblins, robots and other creatures are prowling around. And the danger often comes from people, because when vital resources are not enough, killing your own kind is not such a sin, but an urgent need. So first of all, finding yourself in a post-apocalyptic world, find allies, and destroy the rest of the people and the dead without any regret. Also collect resources and keep an eye on the needs of your little squad. Remember that it will be hard in any case: in the desert, and on the beach, and in the mountains, and in the city.

When support is indispensable

Coping with such a large-scale task with comrades is much easier and more exciting. Alone, you simply do not keep track of everything, and your empire will be destroyed.
